I usually stop in a few times a year to get landscaping materials for my yard. The staff is always very helpful and the prices have been better than the big box stores. It's always nice to help out a local business, and it's really not hard to when their prices and service are better. I definitely recommend giving them a call or stopping in if you need materials.

Service was not good. Asked about stone and was told to get a bag, select the rocks and then bring it in and weight it myself. I probably need 10 bags. Would have helped if asked how much we needed and helped us select and show us around.

I had a similar experience as others here with the poor customer service. Dragonfly Landscape is okay for simple orders such as mulch. But if you are interested in supplies for larger projects such as stones or boulders, they simply don't have the business process in place to meet that need. They had recommended we go onsite which we did. Then told us they didn't have the time to weigh the boulders for us. After a couple of days, they provided a quote. But after 3 follow-up phone calls, no response to complete the sale. Don't waste your time with Dragonfly! There are plenty of other options in the area with better customer service.

Very disappointed with the service here. Went here on a Wednesday to purchase an armour stone and order triple mix, mulch and flagstone. After waiting in line I was told I would have to talk to the guys to weigh the stone. I waited patiently for an available guy, only to be told they did not have time for me today. They took my phone number to get back to me. A week later...still no phone call. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and called back in...she seemed to recall the interaction and took my name and phone number again. Another week later...no phone call. Needless to say I took my business to T. David Trucking! Much more efficient and quality product. I had my stone weighed immediately and my triple mix and stone delivered the same day.

My order was delayed due to weather and was told they'd call me when it was available but received no call.... Had to follow up. Then they missed the original delivery date I was promised so I had to wait another week. I will say the driver was a lovely man to deal with. The soil I received is extremely poor quality... We used it for overseeding and a garden and now have mushrooms and dry, grey soil everywhere. Even with daily watering our neighbour came by to ask "what happened" to the front lawn. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

Wow, nice place. I went to pick up triple mix. It was a few dollars more expensive than other places, but I am really like the quality. I didn't realize the variety of things I could get there. I will definitely be coming back.

Horrible customer service! The driver who delivered left the top soil on the road and was extremely rude when I asked if that’s how he was going to leave it. He was very angry and aggressive. The top soil is extremely rocky. Their measurements are Very small, even compared to previous years. When we called to just voice some of our thoughts politely the lady was rude, defensive and had no care about some of our concerns. Poor customer service after spending over $1000 for just the one order Never had issues in the past years, but will never go back.

Dragonfly is the only place I'll go for my landscape supplies! I've been using then for years for topsoil, mulch, sod rolls, decorative stone and most recently gravel and clear stone. Even when they didn't have what I was looking for to build a custom patio, Heidi called around and directed me to a stone supplier that could help.

Need soil, compost and mulch for new raised bed and to refresh existing flowerbed. Ordered and paid on phone, very easy process, helpful staff that suggested a mix of organic soil and premium garden soil (half cubic yard each, mixed on site), one cubic yard of mulch. Same day delivery promised and delivered well in time. Delivery person was nice, polite, ensured that majority of items are dropped on the tarp as to not stain the driveway, quality of mulch was excellent. Soil mix had few pieces of plastics... but easily identifiable and removable. Not a very big issue. I am checking for drainage of the soil but overall, good experience and quality of products and service.

I shopped at Dragonfly Landscape supply yesterday to purchase top dressing for my yard. A yard of the premium top dress cost me $67.80 including tax, loaded into the back of my pick-up truck. I thought that was way to expensive at the time but I needed it. Today I went to another place just about 7 minutes away called Brantford Landscaping & Sodding. There I purchased the same quality of premium top dressing, only it looked like it was screened much better. The cost of 1 yard loaded into my truck was only $42.38 including taxes! that is a $25.00 saving on a one yard load of top dressing. Personally I would rather buy an extra 12 pack of beer then pay the ridiculous price at Dragonfly. Dragonfly is a nice place for the retail customer who doesn't care about cost, unfortunately, I do. Oh, one more thing, the yard I got today at Brantford Landscaping was a larger amount then the yard I received yesterday at Dragonfly. Another place I found to be more honest in their pricing and measuring of a "Yard" is Cambridge Garden Supply just off Hwy 8.
