Cayman Windows did a great job today on my 3 windows, the windows got explained on its functionality, the area got cleaned up...as they were leaving I asked if he could caulk a bit of my front door which I got installed last May by Hanksters where the door bell was located. The door bell was not working, so I bought a wireless one and needed to cover the wired area up. I tried calling Hanksters last year 13 times over 13 weeks and left a message each time but he NEVER returned my call. All I wanted was a 1 minute caulking on that area! Cayman looked at the door bell wires and the mechanism in the house to see what he can do, in the end...he fixed my door bell, caulked the small area and left a caulking tube that was almost empty in case I needed to caulk the area more! I can only say that I am very pleased with their customer service, professionalism and expertise. They did a great job!

I would highly recommend Cayman Windows and Doors.The windows passed the storm test. We had a torrential rain and wind storm where the winds were so strong, 80-90 km/hr gusts, that rain was blowing sideways against the new windows. There were no leaks seeing that the windows had just been freshly caulked on the outside just a couple of hours before the storm hit. The large window in the General Manager's office was flexing in the gale-force wind (vinyl windows do that in strong winds) but everything was great and they weathered the storm perfectly. So, great job all around and the windows look awesome, everyone is so pleased here. The install crew(s) were awesome, I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of guys installing our windows. Sales rep Murray is excellent. He knows his industry. He has provided great advice and very responsive service. Above all he is honest and sincere in providing guidance for our window concerns. Having replaced several windows in our home and being very pleased with the results over the years we had only two small windows remaining to upgrade. However Murray recommended an alternative to replacement by providing advice on how best to fix them. His honesty in dealing with us in this situation is worth far more to Cayman and to him than the dollars made to replace windows unnecessarily. Thanks Murray, greatly appreciated.

Cayman Windows recently did work at my house and some neighbouring homes in Hamilton. Awful. They didn't measure properly and the expensive california shutters we had no longer fit the windows. Then, they charged us over $400 to cut and paint them to match the new windows. However, the installers did a poor job and they are not attached properly. Also, they never painted the shutters, which we paid for. This company is so garbage that I didn't even want to deal with having them come back again to paint the shutters. Bob Stevenson is friendly, but the company is incompetent. GO ELSEWHERE.

I am VERY unhappy and VERY dissatisfied with this company! I purchased these windows some years ago. Not long after, one side began to look cloudy. Like there was condensation between glasses. Part of me choosing this company and this product was because they offered a lifetime warranty on these windows. So, they came and replaced that window that was clouded. Now, ONCE AGAIN, this is happening. But this time to the other side. However, they are refusing to come and either repair or replace the glass. But why? How are they allowed to do this when they have a LIFETIME WARRANTY??? To me, in my eyes, that means that they are under warranty FOR A LIFETIME!!!! Correct?? I mean, if one of my kids threw stone and shattered it I would not expect Cayman to replace the window. Obviously! But ,when something like this has occurred and is not a persons fault, it should be repaired or replaced under the LIFETIME WARRANTY GUARANTEE.. Why advertise " Lifetime Warranty" if you are not willing to honor it? This has happened now to BOTH sides so its obviously something with the quality of the windows. I do NOT recommend this company. If we are paying the asking price, putting our hard earned dollars into your product you should in return stick to your end of the deal. Stick to your promises that you advertise. We did not pay all that money for our home to look like the picture that I am attaching!!! YOU advertised " A LIFETIME WARRANTY " on the product that you sold me so be a reputable company and honor that!! P.S-- this review MADE me give you 1 star. If it were up to me, I'd not give you that!!!....** COMPANY NOT RECOMMENDED **

We had 5 original windows replaced in our 1970's home. We contacted Cayman for a quote; and from the very start, we found the process to be very straight forward. There was no song and dance, just a no nonsense quote that we ended up moving forward with. Were told we'd have to wait until May for the installation. We ended up getting the work done in late March! The install team was a father and son team who did a tremendous job! They arrived around 8:45 AM and were finished about 3PM. They were professional, unobtrusive and extremely neat! The trim and puddy work on the exterior was exceptional. The temperature difference in our home was immediately noticeable. If you want a non nonsense process and quality products and workmanship, look no further than Cayman. Highly recommended!

Cayman set a 2 man team of installers today to replace an entry door in a 140 year old house. They were on time, they were pleasant and polite. They tackled the job by first laying down protective covers to keep all surfaces clean. Their work ethic was excellent. Their eye to exact application was perfect. And they cleaned and cleared up every speck of dust once they were done. I’ve had Cayman install windows and doors before. Eight years in and they’re all still 100%. Perfect working condition and every bit as good as they were when first installed. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. In the case of this well organized and ethical business, you truly get what you pay for.

He goes above and beyond to make sure it's exactly what you want, in your price range. Very good selection of window styles and glass types for any application at very competitive pricing. It's our second time purchasing windows from Cayman...and Chad. The first was a very large and complex window and 12 years later still looks and works like the day it was installed. Had 2 new exterior doors made / installed. No major issues. Would be a 5 star review but the sill on the front door squeaks, as if it's not sitting flat and it shifts when stepped on. Other than that no issues.

I can't speak to the quality of their products as we did not end up going with them but we had a very negative interaction with their sales people. We were buying a new house and the seller allowed us a one hour walkthrough as per our purchase agreement. My wife and I decided to get quotes from a couple door companies so that the door could be made ready for when we took possession of our house. The other companies accepted this and took measurements while the other companies waited. The Cayman person drove away in his truck and yelled at us on the phone saying how what we were doing was bad business and that he couldn't possibly give us a quote with other competition there. Keep in mind each had about 20 minutes to measure and talk to us separately and we were just working within the 1 hour window we were allowed. The phone call was very rude and unprofessional. Even if it is there policy to not deliver a quote near the competition they did not need to be rude or condescending yet they were.

Cayman installed 2 large bay-style triple pane windows in our house. The installers (Jeff & Dylan) arrived at the scheduled time, prepped the areas with drop tarps and then proceeded to install the windows. They took pride in the installation, finishing each window with trim inside and out. I am particularly impressed with the way they capped the outside of each window with aluminium sliding. It looks amazing. When they finished they cleaned and vacuumed the work area and even filled the nail holes in the trim around the windows. They left the area spotless. We are definitely pleased with Cayman's service and quality of the windows.

After research and quotes from numerous window companies we decided to go with Canadian made Caymen windows. you The windows were all installed quickly and beautifully. The house is alot warmer and quieter. The glass is clear we had a bird fly into one. He was a bit stunned but flew away fortunately. We we're able to pick up the trim beforehand and paint it so we didn't have to paint after installation. We had a tour of the manufacturing process and that's what sold me on them. The windows are built well. I would recommend Caymen.

We recently had our 10 windows manufactured and installed by Cayman Windows and Doors and we are so impressed. When we went into their showroom, we spoke to Mike who provided us with a lot of information about the type of windows and what he felt would work well for us. We chose an awning window in the kitchen instead of a slider and we LOVE it. It looks like we have added 2 more inches of window in our kitchen. The other 9 windows are beautiful. The 4 installers came in, worked quickly, were very professional and took every bit of garbage with them. If I could give these guys 0 stars I would. We hired them to replace a bunch of old wood Pella windows and what a disaster. Lets just say after multiple calls and complaints to Kevin -one of the owners they sent another crew out to reinstall all the windows as the first "hacks" installed the windows crooked so bad you could see it just by looking at it. I guess a simple level took is too complicated to use and master? The windows were also very drafty and you could feel the cold air leaking around the frames as they clearly didn't use enough foam insulation to finish the job properly... These guys are not cheap either so premium pricing for sub par quality. The second install team were much better but probably because management was making them do it right. My contractor buddy who I wanted to use to do the windows was too busy so we hired Cayman but we used him to finish doing all the flashing work and he was not overly impressed with the installation work and had to add additional foam insulation before capping the windows off. The first crew left a big mess behind and didn't bother to pick up any of the debris which was rather unprofessional. The second crew was much better, polite and courteous I must admit. Subsequent calls to Kevin went unanswered so clearly he didn't want any more of our business as I guess we complained too much by wanting a proper installation job done. in the future if I need any more windows done I will install them myself as it really isn't that hard but time consuming or I will use my buddy Jim but never again Hankster or Cayman. Go ahead and dispute this review as I have tonnes of video and pictures to support my claims. Update -Owners name may not be Kevin but he was one of the owners and drove a red Oldsmobile and we bought the windows a while back. I meant to leave a review earlier but got busy with life...

Obtained an estimate for a job, next morning accepted in writing, one and a half hours later, received a phone call from same salesman, told the price quoted would now be $1500.00 more (told he looked at a pricing sheet from 2004 instead of present day). Called the owner to clear this up, told he'd see if he could do the job quoted originally, and would call back. Waited two weeks, never heard a thing. Would have thought the original quote would have been honoured, considering we were past customers.

After much diligent shopping and doing our homework we ended up at Cayman Windows. We needed a new front and back door on our house. I walked in and there was Scott, one of the owners. This man was not only friendly and approachable, he was SO VERY patient with me answering all my questions (and believe me I had alot). He explained everything in full detail: the doors, their construction, different options, everything..I still cannot get over the time he spent with me making sure I had all the information before I made a decision. Not only that but he really worked with staying within our budget. We ordered both doors from Cayman and they got installed a couple of months ago - they not only look amazing but they are so well made, and most importantly SO well installed. The quality you get with Cayman is SO far superior than not only the "box" stores but also the other "big name" window manufacturers/sellers (and believe me when i say we shopped all over). The staff at Cayman are amazing, from Scott himself to Bob who came to measure to Jason the installer who is such a perfectionist, clean and did an amazing job. My Dad who is never impressed with anything, was so blown away by the job Cayman did on our doors he ordered a new window from them - He was thrilled with the work they did. Since we had our doors installed we have already ordered a new window and it got installed yesterday. Again, another perfect job by Cayman. Quality is important of course, as is price, but to combine both with the HIGHEST degree of good customer service is unheard of in todays world. I will NEVER deal with Cayman Windows Brantford, EVER AGAIN. The contract to install three windows , was signed in April of this year and the windows STILL HAVE NOT BEEN INSTALLED. On top of that, someone was supposed to be at my home at a certain time to measure and then remeasure the window sizes. On BOTH OCCASIONS, I was held up for SEVERAL HOURS, waiting for someone to do that, and they were several hours late. I had to cancel other appointments because of it. I was initially told that the windows would be installed on July 29 th. They cancelled on me and then said they would be coming September 17 th. They didn’t show up. Now I’ve been told tomorrow ( November 2nd), but I WONT BE HOLDING MY BREATH!!

I know of no other company in the many years I have been on this earth that strive to make their customers happy like they do at Cayman's. It is one thing to do and say all the right things to get a sale but the real deal is the service after the deal is done. On 3 or 4 occasions since we had Cayman put in all new windows and doors at our home (10 years ago) we have contacted Cayman for hardware problems with our patio door and our front door. Every time we called, Chad and the company went out of their way to fix us up quickly and fairly. They could have nickel and dimed us to death but never once tried. They simply got the part and did what they could to get it to us quickly and even offer to come onsite and install for free. If ever there was a company that deserves a 5 star rating it is this company for their service with a smile and being smart and keeping Chad working for their best interests. Thank you Chad and thank you Cayman!

We had 3 windows and two doors installed the same day. We appreciated that Cayman sent two crews to our house to ensure the job was done in a timely manner. The installation went very smoothly, looked immaculate and the guys did a great job keeping the mess to a minimum and tidying up really well. Cayman Windows & Doors do NOT do their warranty work! The sliding glass door with built in blinds - the blinds don’t lower properly & the handle broke. I have been waiting since July/20 & now Mar/21 after numerous emails I am told the same line - when we have a tech available. Well just schedule it, I don’t believe they have any intent of fixing it & am about 2 weeks away from having it replaced & going to court to sue them for breach of contract. The Windows were installed at the same time & our basement window was left for 3 weeks & took 2 repair crews to install it so we didn’t have gaps of 1-1&1/2” blowing cold air into our house. Just avoid them

What a wonderful experience from the first phone call with scott to the delivery of my windows by Carl nice young man not to forget Chad who answered all my questions n helped me order exactly what I wanted all of them very professional I had the pleasure of going to the Brantford location where I was pleased to meet Debbie the lovely lady who when you call will answer the phone I would say when u think windows please think of cayman windows I got 8 windows all more than exceeded my expectations from the friendly n helpful staff to the high quality of their product and at a price that is very affordable just call cayman I thank them all

We are going through extensive renovations which included new windows and front door, and were very frustrated talking to various suppliers as we couldn't get what we were after, and costs were astronomical! By luck we called up Cayman and it was one of the best decisions we made in our renovation process. The windows and door look amazing, have a lifetime warranty and were half the price of other suppliers! Service was second to none and we were happy to support a local provider. We have plans to replace the rest of our windows and will do that through Cayman, hands down happy with them in all aspects!!!
