We were eating ice cream at the Dairee Delight when a baby bird fell from the tree above. We made a makeshift nest to put back up in the tree near the nest so mama bird could still care for the baby. But we needed a ladder to get up high enough in the tree. Not only was the Home Hardware more than willing to lend us a ladder, but Greg carried it out across the parking lot for us, helped us locate the nest, and held the ladder while we placed baby back in the tree. An example of a community business going above and beyond! Thank you Greg and Brantford Home Hardware!!!

I was in this store first time looking something for work once i got that item, I was looking around store for some deals. I have one of the sales associates approached me and ask if I need help with anything. My replay was: I am just looking around. She went to other co-work and made comment: she is looking? I was in appliances section and she was passing by every 30 seconds to see what I am doing and if I am still there. That is not professional and that is harassment. I never had experience like that in my life that somebody is checking on me like I am going to take something from store. My company has account with your store. will never go there and buy anything. That was my worse experience ever. Even when I was paying she come to check.

Great store, always a very freindly and knowlegable staff eager to help. Store is well stocked and also very clean. All the stock and items in store are always neat and tidy; by this i mean that at every corner of the store and in between all thier mechandise is presentable and not all full of dust. Interesting side note, the owner of this store often has many items not normaly found in a hardware store. Sometimes even offering scratch and dent sales on items that you would have to look hard to find the defect. I like this store. In conclusion. Great store, great staff and well maintained. I recommend this store.

They offer curb-side pickup that you can order over the phone directly to the store, in an email, or on their website and its very efficient. The staff is really nice and they're doing a lot of hard work. In store shopping (when open) is also always great.

I have used this stain on my fence, my deck and my front porch. I love it. It goes on easy and absorbs quickly. Be sure to follow the guidelines as to what outdoor temperature to stain in. Shake it very very well. lol

In my hometown all we had was a Home Hardware. I even bought music and clothes their back in the day. Home Hardware still has a wide diversity of products and services.You can get water on the outside and inside of the store for potable purposes. The prices are reasonable and it's a busy place. Stories very clean and they're definitely following covid guidelines.

I cannot believe the store does not follow the current safety procedures to insure their customers and staff are safe. My husband (who is a medical doctor) has been a long time customer of that location but, after going to the King George Street store today, he decided to never return. He was the only one wearing a mask in the entire store. No protection at all from staff and customers. People seem to think this pandemic is over, it is not!

Appreciate the quick and efficient service but I really question the mask outside for curb side pickup. We’ve been told by our medical experts that outdoor transmission is extremely rare and masks have not been mandated outdoors. Did I bring a mask? No. Did I wear it when provided? No... For the simple fact that we were outside so I didn’t think to bring one and because the employee had to touch a mask to give me one. where’s the logic? The employee couldn’t hand me my goods if I didn’t wear a mask but HANDED ME A MASK. Think about that for a second and the pointless, illogical pressure you’re putting on staff to enforce a rule that goes above and beyond our government health unit advice. Little petty things like this make me want to avoid businesses. It’s unnecessary and illogical. Home Depot it is. Never had to wear one for curbside pickup there. ✌????

Because they are on private property they do not need to honor exemptions tonight me as a double vaxxed person who was OK with wearing a mask had they provided some by the front door like every other store does . Had my disabled husband discriminated against due to him not being able to wear one .according to the AODA accessibility for ontarians with disabilities act yes you have the right to ask us to leave but you should have offered accomedation for the disabled customer you were serving . like bringing the items out to the car or asking me if I wanted a mask so I could pay for the items while my husband sat in the car. I don't think that's unreasonable. The attendant who asked us about the mask wasn't overly rude or anything I know he's just doing his job but some sort of of accommodation could be made the employees should have to take their AODA training again. We did end up going elsewhere very disappointing.side note I will be reporting the fact they did not offer accomedation so they can better train their employees in the future .

The staff here are so lovely and helpful! I visit them before beginning any new DIY and for advice when something comes up that we need to fix around the house. Their knowledge and expertise have assisted me greatly and I feel comfortable asking any question without being made to feel silly. We have shopped at this location many times over the last few years and they are always so friendly and efficient. I don't think we've ever had to wait in a line as they always have multiple people on the registers. Thank you for all of your help, hard work and dedication! I highly recommend this location.

Although there a few very nice employees that work here I will still offer you constructive criticism. REMEMBER, we are the customers! We bring in the funds to buy goods. If you want increased business go back to this old school of thinking. Also, impose safety precautions that's fine. However, don't forget to greet and appreciate our business before you "BARK" orders at people. Again I witnessed a horrible presentation of "NONE" customer service peasantry in your store the other day. There was a woman at least 70 year old being aggressively told, "your mask is not accessible" terrible. There are pleasant tactful ways to deliver a message, but underlying remember we are the customer!!!!! additional encounters met with "RUDE" employees disrespecting elderly people and disabled individuals (blind/deaf) aggressive treatment to those with medical exemptions! Shame on you!

As an individual with a medical excemption I expressed that, and he so rudely we don't serve people with excemptions. I have found one that respects all people but excpecially ones with an illness they can't control. You have officially lost all my business, instead of helping a local like your store I would shop at Lowes or Home Depot
