Amazing .... My "To Do" List no longer has an item called "de-weed the yard" on it!!! This allows me to better enjoy my outdoor time. Of interest: A friend dug-up her buttercup infested front yard and replaced it with sod (a lot of time, effort and money expended) ..... a part of my yard had a similar buttercup infestation .... and after only a few Weed Man treatments there remained only healthy grass! This is our first season with Weed Man. Treatments started in March and the lawn has already noticeably improved. We have a bad moss problem and have made good progress towards getting it under control. Our first weed treatment has worked well. Liming and fertilizing showed quick results. This company uses pushy door to door sales tactics, I did give my phone number to the salesman (which is my fault for leading them on, i was not interested but wanted the conversation to end) however i did NOT book an appointment and was NOT contacted before someone showed up and was checking out the property. They told members of my family that I had personally booked an appointment at a set time which is not true. I was told I would receive a text message with additional information and i had no obligation to answer, and nothing would happen if i did not answer. I'm not sure how the lawn care actually is; but before rolling out your estimator i highly recommend calling to confirm with the client to avoid this type of confusion and rubbing people the wrong way.

I contacted this company to help my neighbor who is stranded in NZ due to covid19 restrictions. I was taking care of his lawn that was overtaken by weeds, so suggested to him that something should be done. I explained this in an email to weedman, who must do satellite image search to calculate area and sent me a bill looking for payment. Then a few days later I noticed that a rep from weedman doing a on site estimate that came in far less, and my neighbor decided to go with it. They must have come a few days later and did something, as now the weeds are looking pretty sickly. I wasn't impressed with how they did the first online estimate, should have skipped that and done an onsite estimate in the first place.

We are very pleased with the service from Weed Man Lawn Care, Courtney. We had them provide full service lawn care including thatching and aerating. One part of their service that stands out is monitoring the condition of our lawn. When their technician noticed weeds appearing in mid summer, they set up an appointment by email and dealt with the problem. I’ve asked for extra fertilizer applications and they have always set up an appointment. There are no extra charges for providing these services. It’s included in the annual fee. We will use them again for next season.

They knock on the door the day of service to check if i have any questions or concerns and even offer tips or suggestions to keep my lawn happy. Very poor customer service and products. My lawn is in worse shape a year later than it was before I hired them. After the weed treatment, the weeds are growing faster and higher than my lawn, 2 weeks after the treatment. I will not recommend this company, their customer service is only concerned with keeping the account and not with customer satisfaction. Tried to cancel our summer fertilizer due to being unable to water our lawn and our request was never answered. They came anyway a week later and charged us. They also left us an information brochure advising us to water our lawn more. Hello?!?! Stage 4 watering restrictions here….When I contacted them they were not in any way apologetic. I paid the invoice but I will never use their service again. The same thing happened the last time we were in severe watering restrictions and I had to argue to cancel the service. I understand they have a business and it hurts when the weather doesn’t cooperate but I can’t afford to pay for services I don’t need just to keep their business going. So, instead of losing a customer for one service visit, they have lost a customer for good.

I signed up for annual package and have received the services promised to date. Weed Man has been responsive to all calls, comments and questions that I have had. One of their technicians, Steve, who has been here 3 times that I know of, takes the time to explain to me what services will be performed that day and answers all my questions and provides advice on what I can do to enhance or support the lawn treatment in the gaps between planned visits. If additional services are needed all I have to do is give them a call and they will schedule a visit within the following week. So far on this contract I feel that I have received value for the money I paid and I am much more knowledgeable about how the condition of my lawn (after 6 years of neglect) and what need to be done to make it a healthy lawn. Based on the improvement to date I believe that by the end of the growing season I will have healthy lawn.

I signed up for a package including fertilizers, weed killing, over seeding, etc. The company does as promised but my first issue was the guy who installed our lawn sod kept telling me I wasn't fertilizing the lawn enough, or with the right stuff, or whatever. This criticism came after two applications of fertilizer by Weed Man. The lawn wasn't in good shape. With over seeding, the seed was applied but if you know anything about over seeding, you have to prep the lawn and earth. You need to minimally de-thatch the lawn to expose the dirt. If the seed doesn't fall on earth it isn't going to take. Over seeding is a slow process, earth and lawn prep, then seeding then lots of watering. We were never left instructions about watering with the seeding. Needless to say, without de-thatching the great majority of seeds did not take. They do what they say they are going to do but our lawn ("your lawn will be the best on the block") was the worst on the block.

Over the past 3 years I’ve spent hundreds of dollars trying to get my lawn to look decent, but could never get rid of the weeds or get the grass to thicken up and look lush. A new neighbor had a lawn worse than mine, but shortly after he hired Weed Man, his quickly looked far better than mine. To my surprise, my neighbor told me the cost was low and results were high. I called Weed Man myself and signed up after an appraisal. After only a few weeks, a majority of the weeds were gone and they also did a second application on the remaining weeds. After they applied the spring fertilizer, the results were outstanding. Today, 1 month later, my lawn is lush, thick and green with NO weeds. My lawn is one of the nicest in the neighbourhood now.
