The best selection of Houseplants in the city, even in the winter! They are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile. I wanted some vermiculite so they bagged some up and sold it to me. Thank you. You gained a forever customer today. In your advertising and online I think you should showcase your indoor plants more so people know how great they are and the huge selection you have! I can't speak to the landscaping part of the business but if it is ran like the greenhouse side, you are in good hands.

I hired the excavation crew to assist with a 100+ year old home. There were a few hiccups and between the homeowner and the head office we were able to communicate effectively. What a great garden nursery! The staff are friendly, informative, and helpful. I came looking for houseplants and they gave me some suggestions based on my experience level. They recommended what size of pot I'd need and then even potted the plants for me! There was a lot more variety than I expected and the plants are all in beautiful condition. Overall I am very impressed with the experience and look forward to taking more beauties home in the near future!

On a whim I drove out to Alternative Landscaping to price out some soil. Despite Covid procedures we were seen very quickly, and all the prices were clearly marked on the till - no guessing games! Staff was knowledgeable and to the point while helping us choose our soil. Delivery was fast, the driver put it exactly how we asked. Everything was smooth, can't ask for better than that! I bought Ming Cherry Trees. Staff is SO VERY POLITE! Very helpful, they wrapped the tree for me, so it doesnt get destroyed on the highway. Wonderful selection. I will be doing ALOT of projects and Alternative gets the buisness!! I would LOVE to work there!

Christmas Open House tonight was lovely...twinkling Xmas lights to welcome us, friendly and helpful staff made us aware of the specials, and so many lovely gift items beautifully displayed throughout the building. Worth the drive to the south end of the city.
