I was fortunate to come across evergreen landscaping for a job I was looking to do replacing the sod in my backyard and fixing a border wall. Honestly, when it comes to landscaping professionals, you need to look no further than Evergreen Landscaping. Sheldon, Douguie and Valentine are an extremely professional group. I was unsure if this was the best thing ot do for my backyard and Sheldon walked me through all my options and provided his professional advice. He even helped me bring down some of the cost rather than upsell me. I am not to versed in landscaping and the communication was excellent, from including installation, maintenance, repairs and guidance. The only thing I regret is doing this job sooner! Amazing work by Sheldon and his team! Very pleasant to deal with, the crew was extremely respectful and detail oriented. They worked through all unknown challenges until the end of day (left around 11pm) and followed up the following days to make sure their work had no defects or issues (Sheldon came back and wasn’t satisfied with a few sod and replaced it all - no charge). Strongly recommended to anyone in or around the GTA. Prices were very very reasonable and very professional and strong work ethic.

My wife and I cannot be more thankful to have come across Evergreen! Duggie and his crew were beyond helpful, descriptive and creative with the entire project and all of its ideas. Step by step they assisted us in choosing the design, helping us save money on the material, and willingly going out of their way to spend every hour of the day perfecting the grass and fence. This crew must’ve been on our property for atleast 13-14 hours both days. They’d come around 7 am and go strong until almost 10 pm. I have never seen such a hardworking bunch of gentleman in all my days. All I can say is if your looking for a good and reliable landscape company. Evergreen Landscape Design is the winner in my books! I highly recommend these guys. Duggie is exceptionally passionate and talented at what he does, the rest of the crew are so polite and tidy... it really made my wife at ease. We had hired another company a few weeks back to complete the project and they caused nothing but a nightmare, I am happy evergreen came to the rescue????????. My wife and I cannot thank you enough! We will definitely be using this crew for any future outdoor work we have for our property. THANKS EVERGREEN!????

We hired Evergreen through an add on Kijiji and later confirmed the quality of work this company had to offer through Google reviews -which were great. Yet, here I am with a project (363 sqft of interlocking) that was supposed to be completed by the end of September 2021. And Sheldon gone MIA since Nov 23 ????. No doubt, Sheldon and Matt show up professional, and so far have done quality work. Excavation completed on Sept 25th. On Oct 4th, these guys at my constant request came during a thunderstorm to install temporary steps and plywood so we could use our front steps. Thank you for doing that, you have no idea how we were navigating with a baby and a 2.5yr old ????. And now ever since Oct 4th this is what my property looks like (pict attached). It's easy to shovel the little snow we have had on the plywood but half of the path still has gravel ????. Sometime in November Sheldon couldn't find the stones we wanted in stock - which according to the contract should have been ordered on Sept 1st, when I made the timeline and materials deposit. Lesson learned: don't book this company in Sept, if you manage to get a hold of Sheldon he will tell how busy he is, a perfectionist, how he needs to wait for certain weather (all while posting jobs of other interlocking projects). Then eventually radio silence and your number would be given to his sidekick Matt who will tell you he is on your side etc etc. Yup I found myself in a situation of a good cop/bad cop. Next steps: We haven't heard from this company who actually has more partners other then Sheldon, so why aren't they stepping in ????????‍♀️. When they do show up they work great but when you ask when they will come next or when they will complete the project they might as well tell you "I don't know". Because not once have they respected their word in terms of showing up, completing the project, or the latest ordering the stones. Who knows they might show up in March 2022 ????and if my project does get completed I will update my review-because it just simply hurts to be in my situation. We can finally have company over the holidays oh wait there is a big fat orange pylon at the entrance to signal an uneven path ????????‍♀️????????. Someone needs to teach the members of this team communication and empathy. I am a responsible and understanding adult (I didn't even haggle for the project cost, landscaping is a tough task, they deserve every penny on the quote). If only someone was honest and told me the project won't be completed in 3 days, next week, or the one after or even in 2021 ????. Let's be real, things didn't fall apart overnight. Nonetheless, wherever you are Sheldon - Happy Holidays and maybe see you in the Spring 2022? Oh an other partners if you are reading this I was told Sheldon was so busy helping you guys complete your projects so maybe time to return the favor for Sheldon and complete ours? ????

Overall, the work done met my expectations. There was initially some communication difficulties and delays but this could be due to the rain and other factors, I’m not too sure, but be prepared for some long waits and no phone call pickups. However, once the project got going, communication increased. I do like the fact that they were transparent during the initial consultation( ie they mentioned what they wanted to do). Sheldon and his team came back to do a weed spray after 4 weeks which is great, but hope they can do one more. I would recommend this company for landscaping and sod work.

Poor, Poor, Poor, customer service not to mention professionalism.....when I asked a question to the owner, he simply hung up on me and when I tried to call back, the call went straight to voicemail. Not recommended and will NEVER call back again.....
