This Gardener belongs to the category of Botanical garden.
Great place for a morning or afternoon hike. Have to pay for parking unless you park across the street on Banbury.
It a very nice and amazing place for relaxing and walking through this fabulous landscaping areas . Everything was done very well and carefully. Walking all around and watching the flowers , the trees , the birds , is an excellent experience and will help to renew energy The colours during the fall season are amazing and very attractive I highly recommend visiting the place , donate some money also to keep this place alive . Buy some stuff from the store and have birthday party . All is available
Came here in September, wasn't expecting too much as it was around fall but I was still able to capture some amazing photos such as these. I don't live close to toronto but id love to come here every chance I get. There's no admission fee, just 2$ parking fee. If able, it'd be wonderful to just come walk here or bike here. A lovely garden and fairly big! Plenty to see all year round :) great for families, friends, couples, anyone!
The Botanical Toronto botanical garden with gardens from around the GTA and throughout Canada: A variety of gardens for the many different lawn types and natural habitats, including: Growing plants for lawns Providing lawn maintenance and garden care Farming gardening, as well as the landscaping and landscaping of the Toronto Botanical Garden, can be an amazing part of the city and province, where gardens can be enjoyed and appreciated all over the city at the same time. A nice place for a date ????
My new happy place. This, like Allen Gardens, is a place so beautiful and lovely that I'm always tickled that admission is FREE. A nature and horticulture lovers happy place. It's beautiful, lovely, educational, relaxing. Connects to Wilket Creek Park/trail which connects to Sunnybrook park, making the experience feel as quick or unending as you'd like. Lots of trail and off trail cyclists, photography enthusiasts. Parking is much easier to pay for with the Blinkay app (meter screens are unreadable). There is a cafe with seating, washrooms, a little store. Trees, flowers, birds, streams you won't see in more urban areas. How is it free?!
This wonderful park space, occupying most of the northeast corner of Edwards Gardens at Lawrence and Leslie, is a beautiful well-manicured space to roam through.
A wonderful informative park and picnic spot. It is huge so you can wander around nicely. There is alot of space for picnic also. Beautfiul flowers with description. Small waterfall area as well. Truly picture perfect place to enjoy with friends and family!!!
It is an incredible park where there is so much vegetation of a lot of variety, among flowers, shrubs, pines, maple trees, weeping willows, in short; wide range and with their respective signs where they indicate the common and scientific name so that anyone can learn. It is a place suitable for people of all ages and we usually see families enjoying the gardens of the place, taking photos, making videos or just sitting on the benches what is everywhere to enjoy the surrounding forest and listening to the running of the river That generates tranquility. I recommend them and visit it at any season of the year, as it is a different beauty in each one.
I went there last Sunday with my family and friends. We enjoyed beautiful blooming tulips along the walking path. There are also a few peonies. You will need few hours just for walking around the garden and the trail. I will definitely recommend this place.
Beautiful gardens. The only 2 downsides: people are littering so some areas of the park aren't clean. There's also still some construction and closed off areas but still a lot to see.
It's a beautiful garden but most of the time on construction and the major part of the park is closed and you still have to pay for parking.
Great place to go for a walk. Long trail with many beautiful flowers. So many flowers with different colors! Be sure to check the map cause I lost twice in the garden. Now is a good season to go to enjoy the beautiful place. Some of the road is blocked by construction though.
First ever time at Toronto Botanical Garden. Interesting area and very spacious with trails and endless sightseeing. Great for families, kids, any age. Many photographers in the area with family photos, Wedding photos or just family photographing kids.
One of my favourite places to visit in the late spring and throughout summer. The flowers here are so beautiful. I come to take photos and then I go down by the creek for a nice nature walk. Many people come with families for picnic and …
Great location for a nice walk! It could get really busy. Parking is $2.50 an hour.
This is the place to be if you love plants, some beautiful plants with colorful flowers. You will even get to see butterflies in various colors. A nice place to spent some beautiful moments with your loved ones. You can also take a look into Sunnybrook park which ia nearby. I would suggest get here with your bike to enjoy the best.
Lovely place! Amazing trails to walk and enjoy a nice summer day and plenty of space to just sit on the grass and chill. Pack up a picnic basket and take the day off with your family. I am sure you won't regret it.
Beautiful space.. have been visiting it for many years... love the gift shop too. i also like the paid parking because now i can always find a spot.
These gardens are worth visiting - very beautiful and a free activity. It's not a "must see" but it is a very lovely way to spend an afternoon, especially if you like nature and want to feel like you're out of the city. There are a lot of beautiful flowers and a nice paved trail that connects to another trail. You could stay for as long or as short of a visit as you want. There's a nice little shop to get a hot or cold drink and snack. Bathrooms in excellent condition.
Beautiful gardens and a wonderful place to spend several hours exploring the grounds. I was proposed to here and I am now engaged! This bridge is now a special memory forever
Botanical garden is getting ready for the summer. Good place to spend some time and walk around the place. There’s a long trail for walkers and bikers. Sufficient parking spaces, but paid. Public washrooms are closed due to Covid.
$2.50 for an hour of parking. Expect to stay at least 1.5 hours. I love the fact the plants, shrubs etc have their English name. See photos so you can recreate at home. Mostly flat terrain and elderly can manage with their walkers. Cafe onsite plus gift shop. Free admission.
Great place for kids and adults. Specially in fall and spring. Free entrance / paid parking
Such a pretty place, today was a bit chilly but the beautiful colours of nature was at their best. Many couples were there having photo shots for weddings, engagements, baby announcements, all great ideas. Make sure you visit this place 4 times a year, one for every season :)
I went late in August but it was still worth it. I remember visiting the garden with my parents as a child. A cultivated garden is the most peaceful place in a big city.
Absolutely beautiful area. Lucious grass for a picnic or a great walking area for a first date or with your family. Pro tip for my allergy friends: take your reactin in advance. Flowers are beautiful but the scents will getcha! Attached are some amazing flowers and plants growing in the area.
Nice park, many hidden pathways and with very interesting botanical gardens with plants from different countries and weathers.
It is a nice place bit it is beside a Toronto garden that does not cooperate much with them. Maps are largely useless and the signage is almost nonexistent which is unfortunate. Parking was difficult with the pay stations mostly non functioning. I ended up calling the company and doing it over the phone. On the other hand it is free so good value. Better signage would make a big difference though like a sign on each item on the map so you are not wondering if you are at the thing you are looking for.
The garden is so beautiful and amazing. A great place for walk and exercise. The park has lot to offer like benches at many good spots, amazing different flowers and some sculpture at certain spots. The trails are also quite good. Park is clean and it also offers a descent Cafe for light snacks. It has ample of parking space and it only charges $2.50/ hr. Overall a great place to spend a day at this park.
So beautiful that pictures eo not do it enough justice. The garden also has a kitchen garden; where you find many herbs used in the kitchen. They are not to be harvested as they are sometimes donated to the Foodbank, which I would say, is great! There's a bee hotel by the kitchen garden and a teaching garden. There's a flower shop with a variety of souvenirs so do visit!
Edwards garden or Toronto Botanical gardens are the best place to have a picnic and spend a day out. Its a four acre amazing gardens. Its one of the best place to conduct a wedding and other ocassions, photoshoots. Flowers are amazing here especially in the themed garden areas. It comprises of the edward gardens, don valley ravine and the wilket creek. it has a seasonal café. Its a must visit for families along with kids, they will surely love it. acess to this garden is free but you have to pay for parking. Its one of the best place to visit this summer to get some fresh air and especially enjoy the evening walks here, its amazing
I loved walking around the Botanical gardens of Edward's garden. The flowers look spectacular with so many different species of flowering plants. The air even feels fresher. It is so nice to hear and see the wild birds fly over head. It is an easy walk and you can enjoy it at your own pace and see the butterflies land from one flower to the next. If you like my reviews, videos or photos let your green thumb go up gently in the breeze.
Very beautiful place for a weekend walk in the city. It’s late summer now and there’s still a lot of flowers blooming. Plenty of space for families to come.
Always beautiful and peaceful, these gardens are a joy to visit. Lots of trees, flowers surrounding a quiet river and trails. Parking is $2.50 per hour and you can pay on the machine or contactless through an app on your phone.
Great space to enjoy nature in the middle of the city. Mind the patches of ice or puddles depending on weather.
Beautiful place for a walk. Amazing view. Great trails for walking. Nice place to just sit and relax!
Very friendly people, lots of places to enjoy and discover. Amazing experience to do solo or with family, very relaxing and peaceful.
Beauty everywhere. Such beautiful flowers. Great place to meet a friend or family member and take some pictures and enjoy all the beautiful plants and flowers. A must see in all the different seasons. ❤️❤️
During COVID, I started taking my family to nearby parks and found this gem of a place nearby. Every time I visit this place, I feel so alive and positive. So many flowers and the teaching garden in the middle of park were my favourites.
Very Lovely park. I wish we could enter the greenhouse as it looks interesting. They open the cafe for limited hours and have some inexpensive food options like hot dogs for $4. We come here alot to walk around the ravine and during the fall the colours are gorgeous. The downside is the parking. There seems to be a lot of spots but when the weather is nice it will take you forever to find a spot. It's honestly so hectic when the autumn hits in the parking lot. Another alternative for those that love it here is the Royal Botanical Gardens. You have to pay to go in but its so much more grand.
Beautiful place to walk around. It has bike trial also.
This place is so huge! The paths here are very long and there are a lot semi hidden trails where you could go. There is a really long river that goes threw the park with multiple areas with rocks which you could jump on. There are a lot of resting areas as well. If you come by car, the parking is very cheap at 2.50$ an hour. The area is located near the most expensive street in canada which Drake lives on. A lot of fields are located in this park so you can have a picnic if you want. I attached some beautiful photos to this review. If you want to see more detailed reviews, look at the reviews for "Edwards Garden". This place attaches to it.
Amazing garden ???? ???? ???? ???? with so much beauty and nature to enjoy... so huge. We had a family excursion ????
Absolutely beautiful gardens to bring your family to walk the trails and explore. Admission is free ???? you may book for a guided tour online. There is so many beautiful, unique flowers and plants here. I have never seen so many bees ???? around. Chipmunks ???? are running around, so cute. Beautiful gardens for wedding ???? pictures, portraits, picnicking, walks, and cycling. Be prepared to share the trail with dog walker's, kids, cyclists, and wedding parties. Perfect park to getaway from the city ???? Lovely flowers.
small forest escape in the hurt of the city, it nice place to enjoy a hike surrounded by trees, revive and many beautiful birds and colourful flowers in summer
Lovely park for a walk even in winter.
The garden is very nice. Just as a heads up, parking fee is required and there is a lot of construction going on. So, various routes are blocked. Otherwise, the garden is pretty well kept and pleasant for walking.
Nice place with biking and walking trails. Parking 2.50 per hour
Beautiful place, many nice flowers!
Nice place. Great family outing
Great place for a walk and anyone who appreciates gardening! You’ll appreciate the vast landscaping, a restaurant and gift shop!
Beautiful place. I got my wedding pictures taken here and always go back every year. I used to volunteer there as a teen as well. It's a mesmerizing sight and there's always new things to see. 9/10.
Toronto Botanical Garden is hosting Edward Gardens full of various beautiful flowers. If you're a flower lover take your camera along.
Beautiful park, a small cafe and small trails for you and your family to enjoy! Lots of open space to enjoy as well as labels on all different kinds of plants. Only problem is parking spots can be hard to find at peak hours.
Spectacular garden a must visit to see all the beautiful varieties of flowers. The trails are lovely and if you're lucky you will catch a glimpse of a hummingbird! very relaxing.
Must seen all year long. Especially in spring and fall. The colours are everywhere. The beauty is around you. Plus, the walkways are maintained all year long. Except the slippery ones, they keep them closed for fall and winter. …
Didn’t enjoy that much due to some under Construction work. May b next year ll visit . I thought I would be able to learn more about plants n it’s usefulness. But didn’t get much info. It’s just like a park.
Wonderful place to visit for flower lovers
Very good botanical garden in Toronto I went so many times in summer that's so beautiful garden. They have so many different types of plants from all over the world and so many different types of flowers and vegetables and medicinal plants. And they have good restaurants washrooms and they have so many free car parking in front of the garden every one have to see this place.
It's beautiful here. My toddler loves finding the giant pine cones. There seems to be construction often. It says 10am opening but seems to be open earlier. A little confusing.
Awesome place to visit and walk. Best for photography and photographer's place . Wedding photos , pre photo shoots . Would sure recommend family pics and kids portraits here . Nice place and nearly maintained. Keep it up
Amazing, close to home, nice trails and outing to blend on nature My fav place with all the landscapes, plants, trees and flowers.
Aug. 9 @ 0611h. Although there were road/path closures, they were due to construction and safety considerations. The garden is big and connects to other trails, it is a plus that there are signs that let you know if you are entering those trails. The garden looked like it was being well-taken care of. We did not see a single trash and the plants are healthy-looking. I recommend going here, it is just as good as High Park.
Lovely place, well maintained, wide variety of flora and fantastic walk ways...I frequently visit this place atleast once every month.
Awesome spot to go for a nice date or even for just a summer stroll. There's a small shop there to get ice cream or other snacks (they take debit/credit) and relax. Also make sure to enjoy the sheer amount of bumblebees around the garden!
The garden has plenty of trails to explore and enjoy! There are an abundance of paved paths, but also dirt paths to explore. There are many types of plants and have super pleasant smells! Parking is 2.50$ per hour and there are restaurant washrooms nearby at Edwards Gardens.
We saw a hummingbird there today! Wouldn’t have noticed him if there wasn’t a professional photographer being immensely still to capture its beauty. They really do float! Loved watching the bees work tirelessly around the flowers. So many different types of lovely blooms to soak in. Also saw a cardinal, some ducks, and chipmunks. Nice long walk with places to sit for a rest.
Beautiful place! Very flowery!
Beautiful garden park. $2.50 per hour paid parking in force. All seasons the garden beds are well maintained. They even have a vegetable garden and tropical trees and plants. Some are very fragrant especially in the early evening.
This garden is a gem in the city. What a wonderful treat to be able to escape all the business and noise in such a peaceful and beautiful place. All the different gardens within are worth the walk. The small cost is worth it for the visit. …
Not very big but a nice place, good for a short visit. They have interesting sculptures and art work for sale. The Cafe also has vegan offerings.
Huge beautiful park idea for family excursions, picnics and more.
