It may have just been the time that we went, but it was a very unlikeable experience, the food had gone noticeably stale due to it no doubt having sat there for an extended period of time with no rotation. And for $20 a person for dinner the price seemed a little inflated for what little was offered. Would have been better had there been more fresh food and perhaps a higher level of service.

Very clean and the food is fantastic. Very fresh and flavorful. Only two things need work. One is the calamari not being cooked enough and the other is staff could clean the dirty dishes off the table faster as they were not that busy. I will go back again. Reasonably priced as well.

Was missing 2 of 8 items (both the shrimp and honey garlic spare ribs missing), rice was definitely reheated and not made fresh, as well as the noodles were extremely overcooked and soggy. Extremely disappointing experience, will never go back, would definitely not recommend to anyone

The service was terrible, the waitress took our order then never came back, my wife waited ten minutes for a menu when no body came back she had to have the buffet that she did not want. They took our drink order and that took forever, some of the deserts were hard as rock and without even asking they gave us our bill and we were not even done eating. With service like that we are surprised that you are still open. Well as for my family and friends we will not be back and anyone else that we run into.

They do not have their own delivery. They lie. They made us wait for a 100 + $ order for over 1 1/2 hours and when we called asking every half hour they told us to wait because he's on the way. And it's a delivery company not them.... even though they offer free delivery. Idk how fresh food is when it's on the way from a restaurant 15 mins away from you're house for over a hour and a half. Thanks guys. Called a pizza. Should have in the first place. Don't waste you're time

Excellent variety. Food was hot and plentiful. Staff members were accomodating when the roof sprung a small leak over our table during lunch. They had us moved within a minute and apologized profusely for the mishap which I did not consider a big deal. An examination of the ceiling tiles revealed no staining so this was a new problem which I am certain will be fixed immediately. Restaurant was clean and bathroom was presentable. I will definitely patron the establishment again.

We went this past Friday and on the desert table the brownies and other items had fruit flies coming out of them. Spoke with the manager and they didn't care. Not impressed. Cleanliness could use improvement and management is overly apathetic to food safety concerns. Makes me question the kitchen facilities.

Don't waste your time. I'm a pretty easy guy to please when it comes to Chinese buffet. Give me a plate loaded with Chicken balls, swimming in sweet and sour sauce and I'm happy for days, maybe some chicken fried rice... but this place didn't even have that. They're sweet and sour sauce was obviously watered down ketchup and the chicken balls were bread with a bouillon cube sized piece of "chicken" inside. I had one beer, and did not see a server after. So terrible service. Go to North China down the street...

Nice Food. We went as a couple, even though there are lot of empty tables. The so called waiter, asked us to sit along with others in a partially filled tables. We are fine in sitting with others if there are no empty tables. There were lot but we were forced to sit with others. Not sure, what kind of strategy is this. Haven’t seen this in other restaurant. So cheaaaaap behaviour.

This place has the lowest quality of American Chinese food I’ve ever had. The sauces are gloopy, the rice mushy, the chicken balls are all dough, and the ma po tofu was... not ma po tofu. And everything was over salted and dripping grease. The egg rolls were so greasy that the bags they came in were slimy. I don’t have high standards for this kind of food, but this was terrible.

One of the best Chinese buffets I have been to. All the food was fresh and full. Good selection of dishes. They could use some more vegetable dishes though. Some of the dishes seemed "mass produced" but overall very good quality. The staff was very friendly and there were lots of them around. Perhaps they could spend a bit more time keeping the floors clean, but it was not a major problem or anything. Price was as expected, $23 including tax. Decor was more modern than other buffets typically but there are some things that are just broken or old that need replacing. Would recommend.

The waitresses didn't took care of our table. We had to find our drinks (they just had water) there were no forks or spoons available. No enough room for so many people inside. The food wasn't so good. What a disaster. If you are coming on those tours I recommend to choose other option for lunch don't waste your money here.

I tried speaking with a gentleman their that approach us speaking English quite well, but as soon as I asked if the crab was real, because they say it's Crab and even had a claw sticking out of it, all the sudden the gentleman couldn't speak English, I even asked another lady that worked their and she just laughed and laughed, why I will never know. why would they treat us like that, so disrespectful on so many levels. Visited the establishment May 17 2019 for dinner buffet. Was very unimpressed. At $17.99 a head you'd think the food would be more impressive. Very bland. Some of the food was almost cold before getting to the table. Very bland food. Not to mention our "waitress" never bothered to check up on us once, offer refills, etc. Finally I got the attention of a lady cleaning a table off and she got us some water. When I went to leave the restroom was subpar, toilet seat was dirty, and then I realized there was no paper towel in either the mens or womens washrooms. I'll never be back, worst $60 Ive ever spent. My 8 year old was charged 12.99 for the buffet and literally ate all of 8 fries and some icecream cause she said the she didnt like any of the food.

There is a large selection of food most of it over cooked and lacking in taste. There was a bottle of pepcid someone left behind sitting on a ledge, that should have been a warning. One of the workers had a pail of compost collected from the tables and was picking through it for dog food right at the front counter for all to see. It made me wonder why there and what else do they save? Yuck!!!!

Clean, reasonably priced and staffed with efficient personnel who were constantly refilling serving trays and cleaning. The food was basic Chinese, weighted heavily with deep fried fare as one might expect. Everything was well prepared and we'll presented. Just wondering why they chose to serve plain egg omlette on this buffet....perhaps they might want to rethink that. Cost of $17.50 per person was very reasonable and there is something for everyone to enjoy there.

I've eaten here before and no issues. For some reason tonight was just the worse experience ever. The gentleman on the phone was extremely disrespectful and when eating at the buffet the food was either soggy, rock hard like its been sitting there for hours, ice cream was freezer burnt. Love their buffet food, as well as take out. They were extremely fast getting it ready for takeout today, zero waiting when I got there, and the food was great....we've never had any issues with take out. The buffet, however..sometimes can be lacking, or dried out...probably just depends on the time you are there...(when buffets are actually open). Definitely will order again...no 1-2 hour long wait like another Chinese place in town.

Been awhile since we ate in the restaurant so I'll review on delivery. The delivery arrives under 45 min, each time. Everything hot. The food is delicious with a lot of dishes to choose from. The containers are well filled and their delightful aroma fills the air. If you love sushi, as I do, theirs is one of the best. I only gave them 4 stars, because their web site style is dated and you have to order by phone. Being able to order on line, would be a big pus for this business.

Prior to writing this review, I decided to read the reviews of this “buffet”. I am not sure if the people that gave this restaurant 5/5 stars and said that the food was delicious were eating at the same place that I was lol. I ate there today at 5pm, the food was BEYOND disgusting. Not only was the rice hard, but every single item has no flavour whatsoever. Have they even heard of seasoning? The server is rude, does not greet or say goodbye & just brings the cheque without asking if we were finished. Paid $37.46 for 2 people with one water and one pop. I am so disappointed and would never retrn. At best, AT BEST they should charge $10, and even that’s too much for the bland food. If I could give them zero stars I would, but sadly I cannot.

This is by the best chinese restaurant for my family if you like salmon sushi they have a great selection. Love their crab legs and the variety food. Clean and welcoming. I normally get 3 plates. My daughter loves their salmon sashimi!! You will be satisfied.

The people I was with gave it 4 stars, although I would have said 3. I grew up with a number of Asian friends and have been to very good Asian restaurants. Buffet style is not my favorite, because you overeat and nothing is as fresh as it could be. There are a lot of choices for the non-Asian food lovers. You can eat fairly healthy if you want with a salad bar and fruits. Good for families and and large groups.

Placed 2 single dinners for 2. Pretty simple. Chicken balls were plan. They forgot the sauce in both dinner. No plum sauce for egg rolls. Had to go back and get the sauces. Got home the sweet and sour sauce was stone cold. Good thing i had a microwave in our hotel room. Not a place i would recommend

Great selection of food- Canadian & Chinese with some Sushi selections too. There is a salad bar and dessert bar. 3 soups! All food was FRESH & HOT where it needed to be hot. Staff NEVER smile but are attentive. Decor is bland and could do with a deep clean particularly the carpet/floor. Great family restaurant. The place was packed after 7 pm and the food was plentiful and tasty. For 18$ all you can eat it's an amazing deal. Tried a bit of everything and enjoyed it all. Desert was great and I love ice cream so eat up.

Good sized restaurant that offers free delivery in town as well as takeout options. Offering both a lunch and dinner buffet, the dinner buffet is always fresher and more varied in choice. At times the lunch buffet items have been cold, hard and not fresh. Definitely stick with the dinner slot. There are many parts to the buffet with a fresh salad and cold items section, a desert and ice cream section, a grill section, the main buffet section and soups. They have a surprisingly good mixed drink selection with the classics. Also an ok selection of wine and beer.

Had to give only 3 stars for two reasons. 1st on portion size. We got the dinner for 4 and there was just enough for 3 and I could have ate more, so that's 1 star down. The other star lost for there chicken balls. By far one of the most desired items when you get Chinese food and buffet garden's has way to much dough and a tiny price of chicken, I don't think they make there own. But for the Taste of the food it was very good ( except chicken balls ) thanks hope this helps make not only for you to decide on were to eat but for the owners to correct there issues. Disgusting, found a lot of tiny animal hairs on my chicken wings. Last I checked chickens didn't grow hair/fur or any sort... Then when we brought it to the manager she tried to charge us a full amount even though we were there less than ten minutes. Definitely going to call a health inspector. Do not recommend.

Either the food was cold or just plain nasty tasting. For $14.99 a person & $9.99 for my ten year old grand-daughter we will never go back since all 5 of us couldn't stand to eat the food & at the dessert table there were little fruit flies all over the items. NEVER ORDERING AGAIN ..... Called in for delivery for 2 people ,ordered 2 combos and a main dish . 15 minute after hanging up they called me back and told me there's a $5 extra charge which I wasn't happy with as time has lapsed, knowing I'd pay with visa they said they would bring a machine once. When the driver showed up there 40 minutes after that he then told me there was a $3 extra charge ... After all said and done the food was barely warm. Terrible experience I will be telling everyone not to eat here and they've lost my business.

I really liked the selection of sea food here. Really good food. My daughter also enjoyed it. Nice selection of desserts and ice cream! Totally worth the price. I will definitely be coming back!

Maybe it's a Sunday night thing but everything tasted and looked like it was microwave prepped or store bought from sushi to dessert. Felt like National Lampoon Vegas Vacation buffet. I actually didn't choose the last stuffed oyster because it looked that nasty. Chicken items tasted good and cooked at restaurant but everything else was stale looking. Staff was mostly great with quick service but many walked around on their phones. Maybe that's the new norm idk. Will not go back. $100 dinner for 2 adults 3 little kids. Not good value for what you get imo but I'm also from a big city so maybe I'm just used to being spoiled at the Mandarin buffet.

Went here with my girlfriend and my 3 year old. I've had better service in a run down biker bar after we ate we sat there for an hour waiting for the cheque I had to go to the front desk to get it and very few of the staff even speak English so have fun trying to communicate with them. The food was all garbage there was mold on the cake the rice was completely dry out the shrimp smelled like cat piss and nothing was warm at all. To top it all off the bathrooms and worse than an out house and there was mold growing on the ceiling above our booth. I will never go back here. Oh and I payed almost $60 for this experience. I should have just walked out when I seen the cheque

I always enjoy going to Buffet Garden on my way to or from Mtl > Tor. If the timing works out for me, it's a pretty good buffet for the price. Not stellar, but not expensive either. Buffet is always good and maintained so it is always fresh.

we went to this Chinese buffet so everybody would be happy eating what they like. Good variety of Japanese, Chinese. I found lots of shrimp dishes. Lots of deep fried but also a couple of veggies mixes, soup and salad. Good dessert selection. We almost did not go because this business was not on yelp. Happy we did.

Selection was very good, all the typical Chinese buffet items available. Most of the food had been out a while as it was just warm, below what it should have been for meats etc. Its my first time experience, but will not go back for a repeat.

Staff do not seem to care how the customer wants there order done they do not want to actually cook the food but to rush it out the door as fast as possible for delivery. Staff may be friendly over all food quality is poor.

I don't know if it was an off nite but food was a 2 out of 10 except honey garlic ribs which where a 9 out of 10. Desserts where like they had sat out for a long time.

Buffet Garden offers a generous selection of tasty Canadian Chinese cuisine. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. The location could be a little bit cleaner and especially the restrooms covered in graffiti need maintenance. It's somewhat depressing to see some customers in their early forties who look like they are in their late fifties who suffer from morbid obesity to a point of needing a walking cane and still come there to eat dish after dish for hours.
