Bought five emerald green cedars from Springwater Garden Center. Four of the plants have done really well since being planted and one of them is unfortunately practically dead. Upon delivery of the trees, I immediately noticed that one of them didn't look as healthy as the others. Instead of being a difficult customer and making a fuss, I figured I would stay quiet, plant it, and eventually the tree would come around. It hasn't. When my wife and I contacted the store and sent them pictures of the tree, instead of being offered a refund or credit for a replacement, we were sent a distasteful email which basically placed all blame on the customer. There was zero willingness on the part of the garden center to even work with the customer in the slightest of ways. One would think that maybe Springwater Garden Center would have been a bit more polite at the very least after we had spent $1200 on trees. Yes, sometimes when you buy plants, they aren't all going to thrive - that's a risk you take. Their products are fine overall, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desire. I would have likely been better served speaking up upon delivery. Lesson learned in two regards - 1) never accept/buy a product which is even slightly below your level of satisfaction, 2) I won't be spending at Springwater Garden Center any longer and will not be encouraging others to do so either, simply due to the fact that their seems to be very little regard for customer satisfaction.
