Very poor customer service. They sell 2.8 litre pots as 1 gallon pots and then overcharged me for Perlite because I objected to the pot size. I have been visiting this store for some time, going out of my way to attend this store, but today was certainly my last visit.

Great store and fantastic customer service! I live well north so it was a bit of a trip to come down, but spoke with the owner on the phone prior and he was able to tell me if he had everything I needed. He said if he didn't, he'd get it in for me! He had all I needed, so I made the drive and he had everything set aside with my name on it ready to go. I am new to hydroponics and he took the time to listen to what I planned on doing, gave me some really good advice on what I should do and then took the time to show me how to put it all together. Couldn't ask for better! I won't shop anywhere else - Barrie Homegrown Hydroponics is the BEST!!

Decent store with decent prices. The odd item is overpriced. Staff isn’t knowledgeable at all and not helpful especially in hydroponics which is a huge con and the reason its only 3 stars. Also please label your items with price tags because its very annoying to have to ask the price on every single item you’re interested in. The website prices aren’t even accurate because they are more expensive in store.

What is it with Barrie and ending your day at 5 . People work . And weekends are the best time to shop . The industry is not 65 year old farmers anymore. If the city is open . Why would you not want to be . Money is money . If the spot is being paid for. May as well show up to work and hire staff.
