I actually love this store. They had what I needed to get and staff is really friendly. I took off a star for the packed main aisles that made it difficult for me to navigate my large purchase to the check out.

7:30 PM. All I needed was door screen and a storage bin. No one in the general area to ask where I might find what I wanted. When I did they directed me to isle 12, walked right past the isle without even helping me find it. If he had he would of discovered it wasn't in idle 12. Had to go to customer service and he directed me to idle 14. When I finally found it the selection was poor and a mess. Off to Home depot I went.

If there was an option for -5 stars I would. Unfortunately I have to give Rona in Barrie an absolute undeserving 1 star. We ordered backsplash 2 months ago and have yet to receive it after they said 2 weeks maximum. But on the website it says I can order it and it will be delivered in 3 days no problem? - Yea ok. Week after buying the backsplash we bought all new appliances. Stove, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. 2 weeks later everything was delivered as promised (Surprised) EXCEPT our microwave. Delivery guys said oh no we don’t deliver microwaves, you’re supposed to pick those up in the store. So we go back to the store, rona employee says nope everything says delivered on the invoice (including microwave that we clearly did not receive). So here we are 2 months later STILL with no microwave because they say it is on backorder. How is it that BOTH our backsplash and microwave are on backorder for a whole 2 months?? It is unfathoble how Rona treated our situation and every single employee cannot seem to figure out where our stuff is. Like hello these items aren’t coming from frigin Mars. Will certainly not purchase anything here again.

Is Rona useless? Of course they are. Go into the store, buy an appliance. Sales guy says it should be available to pick up in 3 days. Two weeks later haven't heard a thing. Call the store, get a supervisor, they say there going to look into what's occurred and call me back before the end of the day. Surprise, surprise no call back. Call them back, leave a message and get no response. Thank you for wasting my time.

Wow the most disorganized lighting section I have ever been in !!! . I was looking for a light bulb that is on display above all the lights, one would think that the light bulb would be right under that display? Yeah right the bulb for that display was at the end of the isle. Along with every other light was out of place for that display , Salvation Army store is more organized then this what a joke ... not to mention every other store that I have been In focuses on home automation and light bulbs when you first walk in . Also the washroom was like walking into a run down old barn, out of 1-10 I would say mabey a 0.5 after a total renovation. One last thing the staff I walked buy 5 of them and didn’t even look at me or say hi or can I help you , it looked like everyone was missable and did not want to be there . Can’t blame them with that kinna wash room and bet they can’t find any lights lol ...ps wow the prices are outrageous $15 for a power bar what a joke same one at Canadian tire $5 ... I just went in because I was waiting for Costco to open ????????

I had a great experience on Wednesday when ordering flooring. It was 44 boxes so we're talking a heavy load. Doug coordinated the delivery on a busy morning , and Tom drove quite the distance to get it to my place. Tom went out of his way to get the flooring as close as he could to my front door. Went to get a few Self-Tappers, got a great hand from our buddy Mark S. THE ONLY MARK S IN BARRIE RONA! He was kind and helpful and had a gentle smile. He approved of our choice and was a fantastic conversationalist. He firmly let us know "there can be only one Mark S"! We agreed and made less eye contact. I will only be dealing with him as I am afraid to ask for anyone else's help. MARK S IS THE BEST!!!

I did an entire home renovation. We used lots of different suppliers and hardware stores in and around Barrie. I had some hiccups with this location but their customer service department was VERY good. They have no hassle returns and they dont make you feel bad for asking for price matching. I would definitely recommend them over their competitors

Don't shop here, the employees are all entitled and the manager who has short spiky dyed blonde hair and wears glasses thinks she is gods gift. Every customer who walks through the door should be treated with respect. Any customer who purchases product that is tagged wrong deserves to get it for the correct price and should not feel like a criminal when they ask for the manager. The manager who is dealing with a customer who just made a purchase with the price incorrect should be empathetic to the customer and not try to make them out as a criminal. I will never shop at this place ever again, the place is garbage just like the staff. Giving 1/5 stars feels like I'm being kind , I would rate 0/5 but Google wont let me

Beware they don't accept returns, because they don't have that product in stock, or because it was bought at another Rona location. So they don't honor their return policy. Shop at Home Depot or Lowe's else and you will never face that issue.

Was very disappointed in their preparation compared to other home improvement stores for the covid 19 stuff. Limited control, areas that are controlled are not controlled well. Staff congregating in aisles less than 6 ft apart blocking the aisles just chatting. Product returns are just lining aisles with stickers on them saying not to be put back on the shelf until X date. but the product isn't exactly segregated and is completely accessible to anyone. Overall, won't be returning to Rona anytime soon. Home Depot and Lowe's seem to have a far better handle on this.

Placed an order but due to an IT issue the store could not fulfill my order, they could not give me a refund either so i was left spending money and not being able to get product. I have to wait 5 to 10 business days for a refund, this was after i had to call there customer service line after waiting 20 min in the store, and no one could do anything to help me, Talk about poor customer service. I can honestly say i will tell everyone i know about how i was treated and will never shop for this retailer and lowe's again since they own rona.

Curb side pickup when trying to order was 30+ days...?...ordered online for delivery. I ordered a pressure washer hose I received a dishwasher installation kit....? huh? How? Get it together if you want to survive in this new world. No wonder so many online only companies are putting these disorganized companies out of business...I am trying to buy local at every turn. 100% all day long. But this kind of service makes it hard to do! I hope it gets better for them. Risky to order online.

Why does it take 3 days for 3 stock items to be ready for pickup when at home Depot usually takes 4 hrs. As a contractor I have no answers for my client. I spent just over $50,000 last year at Rona Barrie.

Curbside pickup website not working, but no notice posted at pickup parking spots to let the customers know. When items were delivered to car, they weren't what was listed on the website ... Rona substituted a new (and substantially different) product with the same SKU, but didn't update the item description/photo. Wish I could give 0 stars.

I placed an online order for patio stones which I paid for at the point of purchase. I get a call a day later saying "they have all of my order, except half (??) and would need to order the rest in." I thought this would be in a timely fashion however it has been 2 weeks already and it looks like I have to wait another week still. Their excuse is they want to make a full load for the truck that will be delivering it. What a joke this place is. I fell if a customer pays upfront for something (1000's of dollars) that you would be able to get it in faster, a week and a half at the most. If you order something and they say "it will be in soon", think again. Terrible!

Purchased a brand new lawn tractor that wouldn't start and had gas in the engine when I received the unit. Took it back for an exchange a week ago and have still not heard back regarding a replacement tractor. They did not return my payment and will not return my calls or offer an update on my purchase. $2200 of my money floating for a week and no solutions offered. Will not deal with this location again after this issue is resolved, nightmare.

The staff runs from you if you have a question. No restock. We went there everyday for three months while doing a reno due to its location and I can tell you with 100% certainty that this place is bad. Their customer service desk told us there were more supervisors than employees, and the GM has the place a hot mess.

Great experience in RONA today! Travis and Erica in the paint department were super helpful and quite personable too! From there I was helped by 3 more staff as I made my way through the store. So helpful! I finally found mini crate boxes that will fit in my cubby shelf. I've looked in at least 4 other stores and nothing came close.

Horrible service in this store. I tried to find an employee in the flooring section for 10 minutes. Asked someone at the paint desk to call someone which they did and then nobody ever came. After 20 minutes of waiting I went to the customer service desk to ask my questions and was ignored by 2 more employees. The only people who acknowledged me were the ladies at the exits as I left your store empty handed.

Poor. Went to appliance area to get a dryer. No one there. One of the employee's pages for service. Waited 15 minutes no one showed up. Went to courtesy desk and was informed person went home sick. Asked if item in flyer was in stock. Girl advised no. None had been received. None in warehouses. Asked for raincheck. No can't give you one. Otherwise only one person in store can sell appliances and if they are sick too bad. Secondly the flyer sales are false advertising as they have no intention of honoring the sales. No wonder there is no one in the store. Guess I will shop elsewhere.

Overall the experience was good. We were greeted at the door as we entered as well as being acknowledged by an Associate in plumbing dept. She even asked if we needed any help. Everyone was very pleasant. However, when we asked a young man in appliances if RONA carried porcelain touch up paint he immediately said "No we don't carry that here" and proceeded to give us info on another retailer that did. I was sure RONA carried this type of touch up paint. So I asked again and he still said no. Than a young lady heard us and said "I know where that is" and immediately ran over and got it for us. The gentleman was totally embarrased. He didn't apologize but rather just laughed and shrugged it off. Any other customer would have accepted the first " we don't carry that" and off they go to Home Depot. I think regular training or even morning/evening huddles would help re-engage the staff with day to day issues that arise during their shifts. No hard feelings, though you would have gotten 3 stars instead of 2. Lets see how you do next visit. - I still love you RONA!

I was trying to price match with Trans Canada 2 dollars cheaper, first cashier said NO but when asking to Manager she said yes, I had $10 coupon when I try to apply the coupon she again denied without even asking from Manager, she said it's double dip which is not allowed however coupon does not say any such thing, they lose sale, a customer for forever, Home Depot and Lowe's are still around and much better customer service, Not to mention Cashier was Rude as well, No wonder why retail stores has challenges in Sales, Look for your customer service and be flexible.

Not impressed. We called and asked for a specific gazebo ahead of time. They said they had 2 in stock and we told them we're coming from Toronto. They informed us that it was first come first serve, which i think is ridiculous, however we took the risk. When we got there they told us they still had 2 in stock and went to look for the item. After waiting there for a while the associate came out to tell us they didnt have it in stock and that they were sorry. Train your associates to check for items if you aren't going to offer to put things on hold. Drove from Toronto to Barrie and back for nothing.

This place is gigantic, they have almost the same as a canadian tire and more, more variety of tools, paint, gardening center is even open during fall - winter so you can buy plants while no one else is selling them, also for lights they have lots of different options

I am writing this message on behalf of my mom Teresa. " On June 28, my husband and I were looking for a specific planter, we needed a measurement tape to measure the planter. Jessie with his friendly attitude, went out of his way to get the measurement tape to make sure we were being served. Later on I came back to get something else, he remembered me, with his kind gesture makes me want to came back to the store. Normally this store has great service but not today. I presented the 20% friends and family coupon that came on my phone. This nice girl at the cash had not heard of the sale for 20% off today so she called a manager to approve the sale. A manager came and told me it was not valid, "Go home and print the coupon." I said it was a half hour drive each way. No difference. It did not matter that I had it. Too bad! Normally great service at this site.

I went to purchase trees that they had on sale, paid for the trees and then when I went to pick them up I found they didn't have any at all. It took about 30 mins to get a refund and they wouldn't substitute any comparable cedar trees. All in all, a waste of my time and I won't be going back any time soon.

When I called around 3 hours of waiting I was told it'd be ready in a few minutes. Curbside is supposed to make things smoother it would have been faster to drive to Brampton and pick it up from Mapei

And the covid-19 outbreak is not a reason nor an excuse, as many other hardware stores are still exemplifying customer service at this time. Multiple people on the phone lately give me the impression that not only do they not care about customer service, they just want to get off the phone as soon as possible. Do better, Rona.

Products generally 15%-20% higher and will only price match with the closest store with current stock (based on the website), even when another competitor store is only a few minutes further away. To make it worse, you can lodge a complaint with customer service without making a purchase. I just walked about from a $1500+ purchase because the store policy, handed down by their owner (Lowe's) was so maddening. It's sad when Canadian companies are ruined by American investors, who just have no idea about how to do business in Canadian culture.

Buy anywhere else! I went to buy a new stove, paid over $2500.00 and was told it would be to my house in 21 days at most. It not only took over 2 months to arrive, we got told on multiple occasions it would land and then people forgot who called and it was delayed again. Upon arrival the delivery guys didn’t set up as agreed and tried to avoid taking away the old appliance as agreed. I contacted head office and got run around answers the entire time and to finish off the worst buying experience ever, they offered 24 months no payments no interest, only to find out they selected 2 months no payments no interest and 24 months equal payments. Upon calling I was told too bad for me, not their problem. Buy anywhere else!

We have been in here several times to get help for a piece of laminate trim we gouged a spot out of with tape by mistake. Always great customer service everyone's friendly. Anthony by far has helped us twice and always goes above and beyond with trying to brainstorm with and help us come up with ideas to solve our problem. Horrible experience, whole week ruined! An employee named Jackson from the seasonal department was rude and unhelpful. I asked him with a nice tone if he could check a price on a timer for my sprinkler. He seemed like he did not want to help me. If I do decide to come back to the store he will not want to see my face again.

Rona's poor customer service is Home Depot's gain! Tonight, my husband and I went to Rona to buy some paint for painting our son's bedroom. As we waited by the paint counter, I asked the man working if he was free. He said, "No, not right now" with no apparent explanation. I smiled and continued to wait a few minutes until he was done. When he finally came over, I explained that we wanted to paint the room in an NHL team's colours and had brought two different jerseys to scan for accurate colours. He said that couldn't be done. I explained that I had done some research and it seemed that lots of people were bringing everything from bricks to carpet samples in to be scanned for colours. He sighed and finally scanned a jersey. After bringing up the colour on screen, he turned to me and said, "It's coming up with a formula, but who knows if it will be accurate". I stared at the computer screen, which still had the image that seemed to be just fine. I continued to look confused, so he said, "All we have is the Leafs colours on file" (we weren't looking for the Leafs, and I'm sure most sports fans can understand that substituting another team is not an appropriate solution or suggestion). I still couldn't understand why the colour he had scanned looked perfectly fine, but he was insisting he couldn't mix the paint in that colour. I finally asked him what he would do if he were us and he said, "I don't know. I guess just find the paint colours on the wall." We walked out and drove the two minutes to Home Depot, where the two lovely ladies at the paint desk not only had EVERY NHL team's colours on file, but told me you can GOOGLE the paint information for every professional sports team colours (something the Rona employee had either been too incompetent or unwilling to do for us). They continued to help us choose the type of paint and finish, and offer tips and suggestions along the way. Rona's inferior customer service lost them a $200 sale tonight. Very disappointed and won't be returning unless absolutely necessary.

Went there as a carpenter looking for meterials saw their pannel saw cutting drywall and lattuce... the lumber team needs to be educated and whats ok and whats not.. no wonder the fire dept. Has been talking lots bout rona and their stupidity... drywall should be cut with an exactoblade and lattuce should never be cut on a saw due to it being riddled with staples and your working around sawdust which is highly flammable

So on the 23rd of May which was a Sunday, I went in for an interview, I was hired that day. The manager told me I would be given my orientation that coming Thursday. Thursday arrives and no one reached out. I called the managers extension and left a message. Tried again and again over the weekend and heard nothing back. 2 weeks go by and I'm no longer employed with my previous employer and still have not received anything from Rona, but was told that someone would be contacting me very soon. Days go by and i called again!! And then I learn that the manager who hired me quit. So they give me another managers extension. I called him and it was again not answered. Panicking and needing a job to pay bills, I go down there after 3 weeks of this to find the manager. He re assured me that I would get the orientation on June 18th. It's now Monday and I've not received anything yet again!!! So I wanted to say thank you!! For screwing me over and over again and leaving me jobless and promising me a position and then ignoring me!!!!! Why the hell would you hire me if you were going to treat me this way. It's so unfair the amount of times I have called your store and have been passed around with no answers given or people telling me you will get back to me. If you claim to be needing employees then it is your job to recruiting people to help!! It's also your job to make sure that dead lines you promise your new employees are met and not lie to people you hire. Thanks to you I'm now unemployed and looking for a new job. You have lost an employee and a customer.

The lady that was trying to help me was super nice and did her best, but what made this experience brutal was the stubbornness of the manager on duty. Needed a lawn edger. Knew which one I wanted, showed a picture of it, but it wasn’t in the garden centre. Associate told me she knows exactly where it is and that it’s immediately inside, but needs to ask permission if she can sell it, since it’s inside. One of the 3 employees just chatting away could’ve just quickly grabbed it for me, since they weren’t doing anything else, but no. Manager said I have to order online... I thanked the lady for her effort and that I don’t want her to get in trouble, told her I’m just going to go somewhere else. Went to Home Depot; product wasn’t outside, asked one of the ladies for it, grabbed the product from inside for me. Manager told her, it’s a garden tool, so it can definitely be sold, despite being inside. Ended up getting lawn fertilizer, soil, seeds, shrubs and the edger I needed. Staff at Home Depot was fun too. Paid double for the tool I needed, plus a bunch more stuff, but at least I got what I needed and more when I needed it. Let this be a lesson to the store manager from Rona. Garden centres are open during lockdown, but you won’t allow access to all your garden supplies, complicating things for NO reason. You know how you lose business out of ignorance? This is how. Funny thing is, I might get a reply of, ‘sorry about that’, but there’s no point. YOU lost $500 worth of a sale, because you made me take my business elsewhere, while I still got what I needed. If anyone feels sorry, I feel sorry for your staff and the improper business management.

Needs operational help. This far into curbside pickup and they still can't figure it out. No signs directing where to park. No signs telling you what to do once you park, so when you call they tell you someone will come out to take your order number. An associate comes out with paper to write down three orders at a time, but has no idea what order the cars arrived in. I had to leave after waiting in my car 30min and watching others who arrived after me get served. I just canceled my order and will continue with Home Depot. They have an effective curbside operation and continue to find ways to improve efficiency.

They need to get a better system for the curbside pick up. They should have a designated number for the curbside pickup. You call - give your order number and parking space. Someone brings it out instead of waiting in a spot and hoping someone comes to your window to talk to you instead of waiting & watching them serve people who come after you've been sitting there for a 1/2 hr. There is a simpler way to do this - they just haven't figured it out and disappointing that someone needs to get out of their vehicle to flag down an employee.

After the locations in Bradford and Lindsay were not able to accommodate my order (insufficient stock on sale items) I called Barrie Rona. A manager (Holder, I believe) helped me the whole way through and was able to arrange for delivery even though I am located outside of their delivery radius. Two days after calling I had 2000 sq ft of flooring delivered to my storage unit. Doug from deliveries was helpful as well and the delivery driver was able to place two skids of flooring info my storage unit without a scratch- he even gave me a 25 minute heads up on his arrival!

TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE customer service. Did an online curbside order. Waited over a month with no email for pick up. Tried to call the Barrie store about 50 times and no one ever picked up. Wrote 2 customer service emails and got a response a week later with a generic response. Called the customer service line, finally got through to the automated queue recording and waited 49 min to talk to someone who put me on hold and then waited 30 more minutes. I asked for a full refund as I had not received my order and was told I’d get a confirmation call and email within 48 hours. It’s been 4 days and have not gotten anything. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service!!

Although I do like Rona in general I was very disappointed with their on-line service. There was a sale on toilets which wasn't available in store so I placed my order for a toilet online and then received a cancellation notice indicating they didn't have the product. So I chose another toilet and again paid for it and then received a cancellation once again. Now I have to wait 3-5 days to get money paid which is over $400.00. I can't believe they don't have the technology like Homedepot, Canadian Tire and other major stores which indicates whether they have your item available in store or online and also indicates whether item is unavailable ????. I will never use there online purchasing.

I will never step foot in that store again!! Worst customer service I've ever had, been in there two or three times and felt invisible. No one offers to help, stood around for twenty minutes waiting for help in the lighting department and even after asking for help from an associate, never received any assistance. I like that they have air miles and when air miles has their mega miles promotion I always try to get the full 1000 bonus miles but for the second time I did not get it I'm sure I went to 5 air miles partners. Ordered 2k worth of insulation. Waited a month for delivery. Finally got it and it was filled with maggots! The delivery came at 8pm noticed the maggots at 6am when we went to install. Had to carry the bags back up from my clean and empty basement all through my house dropping maggots everywhere to bring it to the garage. Called the store, head office and left messages - nothing. Showed up to their store and they assured me that someone was going to come next morning to pick it up- no call and no show. Now my garage is crawling with them. We're not talking about a couple. You kick the bags and they are just falling out. There was also some in the stack of drywall that was shrink wrapped and dropped in the driveway. Also was 10 sheets of drywall short.

Was told on the phone if I book in store I will save $80. Head to store only for them to tell me there is weekend appointments and I would have to fight with the people at head office in order to get one. Decide this isn't worth the frustration I am already experiencing. Pay for install in store to save money. Get a call from Rona two days after this. The store has not sent any of the payment information to Head Office and now I can't finalize the install until they receive this. Overall I feel like I am stuck in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm with the way this has gone. There are many other places to get the items Rona sells. The only thing that would set them apart would be service, of which there is none so I would suggest taking your money elsewhere.

Horrible experience picking up lumber here. Was brought out some, pretty much hockey sticks, so I asked the young man if he could go get me some straight ones. Instead, a more senior employee came out and yelled at me that "all our boards are like this one! this is 2x4 knotty pine you get what you pay for" even though I had ordered Finishing Appearance Boards that were 1x4x8 in select white pine. Did they even bring the correct product out? Probably not, I asked if this was the select that I ordered or knotty, they had no idea. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Was about to purchase a patio furniture set when we had a question as it was missing a couple pieces. Was met with Tanner who was extremely rude to us asking a question if they knew where the pieces were and his words were “do you want it or no? We’re giving you a deal and if you don’t want it someone else will”. We walked out not purchasing because of this particular employee and will not be returning. Extremely poor customer service. I did an online order as I usually do. I pulled into the designated area and was quickly greeted by an associate. He then directed me to the garden center. I went to the garden center as directed and sat with the tailgate down on my truck. After watching every walk in person get served and I have been sitting for half an hour waiting I called the store again. At this point I am still being patient due to the times we live in. The helpful girl I spoke to went to a manager and then told me someone would be right out. I waited, ten minutes later I was fuming. I got out slammed my tailgate as the garden associates watched and left. I went home and relaxed a minute before calling the store. I called and spoke to a Manager her name was Janet or Janis she said it so fast. Her explanation was that it was a miscommunication. My question was how is it that if I paid for an order and was told to come pick it up a miscommunication. She was extremely unhelpful and offered every excuse available. I will never shop at Rona or Lowes again. If I could leave a lower rating I would have. This manager needs to learn customer service.

I ordered 12 emerald cedars online and received an email that my order is ready to pick up. When I called them to pick up the manager, David, said "first come first serve" and we don't have your order. I am really confused on how online order can work with first come first serve system. I already paid to gardener to dig the ground and for the soil but David had just some unacceptable excuses. The manager and employees are very impolite, unprofessional and irresponsible. I am very disappointed.

I was trying to find a spark plug for my lawn mower inbetween cooking dinner and before it rained. After a long time on the phone canadian tire in the south end didnt have one and the north end didnt even pick up the phone just the answering machine came on twice. Lowes didnt pick up the phone either. Ashley at Rona picked up the phone, went to the shelf to make sure they had the number i needed and put it aside for me at customer service. First and last time using Rona. Terrible customer service throughout my whole buying experience. From the staff member lying about when my order would be delivered into the store. Zero updates from the staff regarding my order being delayed unless I call in and wait on hold for 10 minutes. No sympathy or care from staff regarding my order being delayed another week (as well as all my trades waiting for these products). Do not shop here, it's been nothing but a hassle and I do not recommend.

purchased a dishwasher and within the first 30 days the dishwasher got stuck on drain. It is a frigidaire dishwasher. We wanted to return it and exchange for another brand. Manager told us we were not able to do that. It's not Rona policie. A month and a half now and no resolution from Rona or Frigidaire. Unbelievable

Ordered shingles online for pick up over a day early, was told I could come to the store to pick up as they are outside when I called no problem, when I got there they told me they wouldn't process the order Ahead of others. Didn't need anyone to load or help. They took more time to be rude and refuse processing then if they just processed the shingles. Made me wait in my car for over 2 hours confronted and called multiple times to wait, wait, then no they can't do anything. Now I have to deal with a rain storm coming in the next day. Thanks for the terrible service. Use to always shop here but now I will be going else were. Absolutely horrible service.

Be aware when you go to this location for deck design. Holgar the manager of lumber department will try to up sell and provieds you with dishonest pricing. When you confront him on the matter, tells you that you must pay for purchase prior to him telling you what he is selling you. If you can not provided a service perhaps you shouldnt claim to!

Staff are very friendly and willing to help. They are a bit under staffed so service is quite slow but that is expected with big box hardware stores. Otherwise they always get your order right and staff is always helpful when you have questions.

Well I went shopping with my wife at this store and the staff was very helpful in finding what we want, but where the problem comes in is at checkout, so their is a customer that is not moving through the checkout, he was there for about 15 min and still there when I left, only one cashier on now the lineup is getting long with 20 people now waiting going nowhere, there was a head cashier she came and went ignoring customer requests for another cashier to be put on. To boot this day was when all the children went back to school, remember the line still is at a stand still, now people are getting upset, leaving their stuff and walking out of the store, this is lost sales for the store, lots of people walking around in blue jackets but nobody helping, finally a person from electrial comes but his computer is not working to take the sale, now that two tie ups and nothing moving, well finally his computer comes online and starts working and one line starts taking customers again. This is very poor service, you have a store with millions of dollars worth of merchandise and only one cashier, this is to the store manager, get more cashiers on when you are busy, there is no excuses for not doing so and if you don't have cashiers train some.

Web Order 3849xxx, Order Date: April 29, 2018 delivered on Friday, June 8, 2018 when guaranteed delivery on Rona web site is 5-8 days. Called multiple times their customer service, delivery, ETC. without any luck to at least get ANY info about WHEN the product will be delivered after it was paid - unacceptable experience and hopefully someone at Rona listens for the sake of other (frustrated) customers like ourself. Would give them -5 stars if possible - at least for the Web side of business and I know one thing for sure - will never ever buy from Rona web site again.

It was kind of a bizarre experience. Asked for help in one department and waited for ages...eventually another department came to assist as best they could. Then found a sink on clearance and had to have 4 different people look up price in their system only to say they wouldn't honour the clearance price that was posted on the box. So weird. This was one occasion but have had similar situations in the past. So not sure why this happens. Nice people just not fully aware.

A waste of money and time. Needed low expanding sprayfoam. Decided on the construction grade expanding foam that cost about $27 per container. It required a gun to be used, and the only gun at the pro desk was about $65. The other available gun was located in paint. Long story short, these two items did not work correctly together, and resulted in a disaster. However, the gun cleaner that I also bought, did work with the gun. In addition, the store staff was crude and of no real help. I won't bother returning these messed up items... just a waste of time and money. Later, I found a comparable product at home hardware in 20 oz containers that don't require a gun, and they were less than $9 per container. I bought 4 that worked well for me. Again, wasted about $80 and 2 hours of my day after making the mistake of trying Rona first.

This is a long-standing review that should have been written long ago, but it is to thank the staff at this Rona for all of their help and excellent customer service they provide. I work for a not-for-profit organization and for the past two years I have been purchasing materials from Rona for our programmes. The staff--including Manager Al--have always been very quick to help me find what I need and prepare the materials for me as asked. Also, during the time that the Cut Shop has been closed, Al has personally helped my on two occasions to cut the materials to size by his own hand and tools. I haven't come across customer service quite like this store. Since shopping at Rona, I make Rona my go-to place for work and personal needs. Thanks so much for all of your dedication to making your customers happy!

I called this store and the service rep advised that all the kichen cabinets were in stock! We went to the store to see the selection and again, the rep advised that the kitchen cabinets were in stock. The next day, we went to this Rona to order the cabinets and guess what? Yep! A 24" cabinet was not stocked and the rep advised it would need to be ordered.???????????? A big waste of time! I had to call a friend with a truck and yep...wasted his time/gas as well!????Get it straight! Customer service reps need retraining! Terrible!

Went to the store this afternoon (a Saturday) looking for a countertop. We found an in stock one we liked, but had questions and wanted to get a quote on ordering one. After waiting for more than 20 minutes and 3 different associates paging a representative from kitchens, no one came. I asked at customer service and was told there was no one scheduled in the kitchen department today. On a Saturday???? Was then told that a manager had been called to help us (and the other customers) who were looking for help in the same area. No manager showed up. I will never step foot in this store again. Very poor customer service.
