Got some screened black soil from this supplier and after the sun dried it it turned to gray powder . And nothing grew to much acid in the soil or came from dredging out of a swamp with high concentrates !

My wife and I went over to see what kind of accent stones we could find for our gardens. We found some beautiful white calcite stones and were greeted shortly after by a very helpful staff member. He dug one out we wanted, weighed it and gave us the price immediately, to our surprise it was reasonable for the size stone so we ended up purchasing 5 of them! The staff loaded them into the back of our minivan and the entire process was very quick. We also came back and ordered HPB stones over the phone. It was underlay for the deck I was going to build and had it delivered within 2 days of ordering before long weekend! Again, the transaction was done quickly and the delivery driver placed the load perfectly on our driveway! We will definitely use them again in the future.

Great landscaping store! Landscaping guys out back and delivery personnel were so helpful. They go the extra mile and have made some great recommendations that improved our yard projects. Be sure to double check your order though. The front staff seemed rushed. Apparently the customer is the one who is in the wrong. Too bad when others work so hard on customer service.

I was initially very happy with the customer service, speed and efficiency of this company - however - must say I'm very disappointed in the product. Specifically the screened topsoil - While I understand that it's screened, and while it sits in the yard they can't protect it if weed seeds blow into it (what I was told when I called in to express my disappointment) The 6 yards I had delivered has been quite full of Ragweed, Pigweed and Clover - I've sadly had better luck with the $1 bags of topsoil from Walmart and Canadian Tire over the last 5-10 years, than I've had with this single delivery.

What a great family run business. My husband and I live in Alliston and we ordered gravel for our driveway twice from them. There were some mistakes made with the order and they ended up dropping the wrong gravel! But when I called the company to inform them that the gravel was not the one we ordered, they were polite, respectful, and immediately corrected it. Melanie and Sarah are impeccable with their customer service, super friendly and professional and Brian made sure to deliver on time so we could finish our project the same day. They never argued back once and ensured that we got the product we ordered for no extra cost! It really took the stress off. I highly recommend you order all your landscaping supplies from Carr !

Even though the lady who took my order sent the wrong product (mistakes happen) Colin (im pretty sure his name was- nice English gentlemen) was AMAZING . When he arrived he confirmed the order before dumping, which was when there mistake was realized. He perfusely apologized and was bath within the hour with the correct load. He also brought me a small sample of the sand they had In the yard because I had asked him about sand for my riding arena. He went above and beyond. Thank you! I will be placing multiple orders in the future with this company because of this great service.

I have exchanged about 10 to 12 emails with this company in a matter of 3,4 hours. At first they seemed very helpful answering all my questions, we were making sure the truck will fit and everything seemed to be going good. So I made plans and emailed them for a complete quote of what I need, at that point all emails have stopped. I then called the company and left a message “hi what’s going on with the quote it’s been 2 days” answering machine said somebody will call me back within 24 hours. It’s been two weeks now not a single email back from them, not a single phone call back, not even a sorry or a price for the quote..nothing! The company left me high and dry and will not answer! One of the worst companies I’ve ever had to deal with and very RUDE! if you’re looking into a company because you need soil or other material, DO NOT go with these guys, you will plan everything else be ready and they’ll just stop contacting you. No explanation no sorry nothing! Stay away from these guys!

I did a trade off (in good faith) of services with Carr 3 years ago and I am STILL waiting for the final delivery of my product. They did do 3 of the 4 deliveries but the 4th never arrived. Nobody will return my emails, they won't respond to the contact us form, they won't return my messages. All of last year the truck that they required was "NEVER AVAILABLE" or tied up in the northern yard and then they stopped responding all together. Pretty sad way to build your business.....by exploiting others.

An error was made with my initial delivery. They said they would make it right and they did! The true measure of a business's customer service is how they recover from errors. We had been looking for a delivery of triple mix soil and could not find any. Our neighbour had just received a delivery from Carr Landscape Depot, and reffered us to them. When we called we were shocked to hear that they could have the delivery at our house within an hour and a half. The load arrived within 30 mins! We have never experienced such quick service, we will definitely be returning to buy some fertilizer and other essentials for our lawn! I didnt get the drivers name, but she was very helpful and friendly, we had left to buy some tarp for the ground and she waited until we returned home and she was not upset that we made her wait. Thanks for the great service!
