This Gardener belongs to the category of Garden.
I've never been interested in visiting this sort of place. From the moment I entered to the moment I left, I was in awe. The combination of scents and colours along with the vast variety of flowers and plants, the sculptures and artwork, animals and walking trails, this place is a must see. I will definitely be going again.
Beautiful garden with local flowers and trees, some farm animals and excellent spots for photos. Restaurant available on place for lunch.
Amazing garden, the workman ship is amazing. The people who work here should be super proud of what they do. Literally the most amazing garden I've ever seen.
The gardens are very well maintained and seeing the animals was a welcomed bonus! It was unfortunate that I was there in off season for some of the flowers but it still provided a beautiful and relaxing walk through the different gardens.
Nice beautiful garden to walk through although it was created for only 25 years. There are many cultivars if trees and shrubs and sculptures.
Beautifully maintained - Must visit place!
The relaxing walk through these beautiful gardens is well worth your vacation time and the cost of admission. Well maintained and laid out. Easy walking, with almost half of the paths in shade. Surprises included finding the secret garden, seeing a tree from Australia, and enjoying the sculpture garden. To think I almost skipped it! Restaurant on site offering unique dishes using some herbs and veggies grown on the property. Some animals and miniature buildings for the young at heart. The gift shop seemed more expensive than shops at other attractions.
They have beautiful gardens of many different varieties of flowers and trees. We visited in September where most of the vibrant colors are gone but appreciated the landscapes anyway. This is a definite place to visit. Oh they have animals and birds to see too.
Perennial section was mindblowing
The food and gift shop is one of the best in this charming town..... and the Gardens are an exceptional exceptional experience showcasing many talented works by gardeners and artists.
Absolutely stunning place to visit. Great food at the restaurant and an opportunity to pet lamas
Wonderful garden, full of little nooks and crannies that make nice shots. Would have loved to go into café's terrace but it was full that day. Late August seems to be very busy around the area from what locals told us.
Beautiful garden, very huge. So many different flowers and sculptures and animals to see.
Very nice place. Make sure to bring Allergy meds. Some flowers have a very strong scent. Even my husband could barely stand certain sections.
Superb experience. The gardens are beautiful, well tended and nicely presented with good labeling. The staff was delightful and very helpful. A great experience and a must see in St. Andrews. Plan on at least two hours to see the entire garden properly. There are over 2500 plant species on display, all well presented.
We absolutely LOVE going to Kingsbrae ❣️ This visit was my 70th birthday treat and I can't think of a better way to have celebrated the occasion ‼️ ????????????????????????????????????
The gardens are well maintained. Enjoyed our time at this beautiful place
Lovely place in the local area to spend your morning and catch a quick bite to eat.
I've been to the other end of our great country to visit Bouchard gardens but I found Kingsbrae more enjoyable. What a great place to visit that must be on your list of places to see and enjoy!
This garden was truly an amazing experience! We found this place by chance, and the 2 hours that we spent there was worth the experience. The garden is HUGE and well taken care of. You can bring your dog! - but be careful of the red ants that control most of the back of the garden. Lamas, rabits, cats, ducks and lots of ants haha . I recommend visiting this park!
We enjoyed the garden. Best part was lots of sitting area to enjoy the garden. The restaurant has good food served with artistic touch. The art gallery is worth a visit. It is in the restaurant. There is a entrance fee. Well worth it. We spent more than 3 hours.
Beautiful garden
Beautiful flowers and displays, lots of artwork to enjoy. If you use the forest trails bring some sort of waterproof footwear. There are fire ants, not in the gardens, but in the walking trails. These sting like bees, so watch where you sit.
Kingsbrae Garden in Saint Andrews By-The-Sea, New Brunswick is a beautiful, peaceful and healing place. Just we were strolling through the garden early in the morning and paying close attention to the wonders that surround us. There were lots of photo opportunities for us. And that was time well spent.
We went late in the season, 2nd week of Sept but there was lots of blooms still...it was a beautiful spot, I could blather on but you would really have to see this place to really understand the beauty of it all.
This is a MUST see for anyone going to St Andrews by the sea. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and so will laid out. Would go back in a heartbeat!
It’s very amazing place !So many flowers, different trees, nice landscape design, a mill, lakes ????????????... Children are delighted with animals and labyrinths. Today was free admission, thank you. Be sure to visit.
I can't wait to go back durning a different season to see what is there then.
Very interesting to see, but kind of pricey for what’s available. I enjoyed the gardens very much. Very fun and interesting spot to visit after the whale watching. The price is kind of high for what it is, but it’s something to see at less once in a life time.
Completely worth checking out, even if you're not that into gardens. Absolutely breathtaking.
Wonderful experience. Wooded area was closed due to flooding but we still took around an hour to walk around. It was a gorgeous sunny day which helped. Many many different types of plants, including a mini orchard. We topped off our visit with a lunch at the café which had several gluten free options! I had the gluten free club sandwich which was delicious. I highly recommend the Gardens and the café. We will be back.
Very lovely garden, only slightly marred by a large tour group running around and yelling to each other all over the garden, which staff never intervened. Really liked the peacock enclosure and would have loved for the petting zoo area to be open, but that's understandable with covid. Be careful of fire ants!
Beautiful gardens! The kids loved meeting the animals. Watch out for Fire Ants though! A few people from our party got bitten unfortunately.
Most magical garden I've seen!! We'll definitely be back!!
Although the summer splendor has faded, many autum blooms are just coming to the fore. Nonetheless, the grounds are beautiful, with an Acadian forest walk, herb gardens, orchards, etc. A really relaxing way to spend a half-day.
Have wanted to visit for awhile and it was worth the cost of admission..Lots of beautiful gardens with a wonderful variety of plants, trees, scrubs and fountains and hard scapes. They even have a few animals to entertain children and a garden cat..who makes you welcome..He pops up in lots of places..There is a cafe but should make reservations as the wait could be long...also a gift shop to find a keepsake of your visit.. Easy to find and very close to downtown .
A bonus to viewing the many gardens is the Cafe. I ate the most delicious meat pie, topped off by a carrot cheesecake!
An amazing garden. Beautifully landscaped and well maintained.
These gardens are beautiful! Way more to do and look at then I thought! I thought it might be 40mins to an hour we were there for two and could have stayed longer. ( would have too if we did not have tickets to go to Minsters island) They have a few farm animals you can look at and enjoy. Two cool little play area for younger kids. Wood play houses. My nine year old loved them. They have an area full of different art sculpture. Carving and art work all threw out. Lots of benches for little breaks. We when with my inlaws who loved it along with our nine year old so who also enjoyed it. Will go back again to see all the areas we missed out lol.
I'm not that interested in plants and flowers, but the garden is fairly creative, whoever taking care of it is doing a great job.
These gardens are well worth a visit. The grounds are beautiful and feature wonderful landscaping and sculpture work. There is also an amazing restaurant. Expect to spend a number of hours walking the paths, moreso if you're a shutter bug (yes, bring the good camera gear).
What a magnificent well kept garden. Must see! Will take a couple of hours to thoroughly enjoy. Most plants there are the ones you wish you could grow. ????
An unexpected delight in St Andrews! A definate must see attraction to spend an afternoon or even better catch an event in their amphitheater.
Very beautiful gardens and would recommend a visit.
Super floral gardens. Well worth a visit. Pandemic precautions in place. The cafe is a great lunch spot. Make reservations.
Amazing place for family walk! We enjoyed our 2 hours walk completely: each corner full by natural beauty ???? Various flowers, trees, sculptures, fountains, Memorials, gardens, working mill, exotic samples. My kids liked animal zone ???? ???? We relaxed in garden with fountain. I didn't expect to see subtropical samples???? If you have more than 2 hours, you can enjoy walk in Acadian forest. Or to have dinner in Garden's cafe. Great place!
Beautiful!
Very pretty town, with its little old-fashioned shops, it's a really great place! You can eat in the famous restaurants of St Andrews facing the Bay of Fundy or visit the large French garden with its labyrinths and fountains ... If you come to New Brunswick, you should definitely visit the city of St. Andrews! Thanks a lot !
Cool place for families wanting to take a stroll. Kids would love the goats and the lamas!
Excellent... beautiful flowers. Easy to walk around and enjoy
The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Plan on spending a few hours so that you can explore the many themed gardens. Wonderful for all ages. Lovely resturant on site.
Beautiful place to visit .we will be back
It is cozy. I really like and enjoy the place
Beautiful flowers and designs...employees are friendly..loved the place so much..5star..
So beautiful
A wonderful stroll across a well manicured garden with flowers peacocks llamas goats and ducks plus some amazing pieces of junk-art.
The food at the onsite restaurant was unbelievable. The garden was nicely kept and clean. If you have interest in this kind of thing it is a must see as they have different sections for different age groups. There is a neat sculpture garden that is the home of the yearly winner of the sculpture competition.
Love this place! I had been here 3 times already, gorgeous place to spend when you visit St. Andrews.
BEAUTIFUL gardens. Lots of variety in plants, flowers, and trees. Everything is neat and easy to find with the map they provide you with. There's also statues and art throughout the gardens, a pond, and a windmill. There's some animals you can see as well- goats, llamas, ducks. The goats were very cute. We visited in August on a very sunny day. There's lots of shade from the plants but I'd suggest wearing sunscreen if you need it.
Beautiful gardens, very friendly staff. Little one loved the animals.
Very beautiful flowers, wonderful sculptures and relaxing day.
Beautiful and perfectly manicured! Well-maintained and tons of variety! Great for all ages!
Beautiful garden, enjoyed every bit of the serenity. Took lots of nice pictures
Beautiful place, well worth the money!
Could be 4 or 5 stars. We went at the end of the season, so there wasn't as much flowering. But it is a large garden with a variety of plants. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Got a kick out of the goats and the alpacas, especially when they let them wander (supervised) and help keep the grass trimmed.
I am disappointed you have your webpage listed as closing Oct. 16 and your google listing also says your open. I went to go on this beautiful day & to celebrate my birthday. Only to arrive and see gate closed & sign says closed for the season. Very disappointing and messed up my day. Please update your website & Google site. I guess some businesses just don't wanna make money. You would think with beautiful weather, it still being busy with tourists and the Pandemic you would think these businesses would have better hours, longer seasons. Nope. Do better.
So beautifully done and so much to see! They have baby goats and alpacas! I went in September but I think the best time would be July.
If you have the chance, GO EAT AT THE CAFE! The garden was nice. Would strongly recommend going in early summer when all the flowers are in bloom. I really liked some of the artwork on display. Now the Cafe was amazing. Great service, amazing food! The setting is beautiful which makes eating there delightful. Strongly recommended as the prices are very reasonable for the quality and presentation!
Wonderful gardens! Lots to explore and see, alpacas and goats, fun for all ages and the art sculptures are so unique, absolutely beautiful a must see and perfect afternoon activity
Mom and I decided to take a day trip to the gardens and we had a and time. The staff were polite and knowledgeable, the bathrooms were clean and the gardens were beautiful. We will be visiting again next year!
We were at the Oyster festival, thoroughly enjoyed being able to make special memories with family.Music and everything was awesome. Had a wonderful time. Kudos to all who made it possible.????????
Awsome garden and even better lunch at their restaurant
