This Gardener belongs to the category of Florist.
A wonderful sanctuary from busy city life. Great coffee, awonderful flower shop, and the most interesting knick-knacks.
Seldom busy, beautiful (but pricey!) cut flowers, comfortable little patio and the greenhouse seating is genius.
Got tomatoes there for cheap... They grew up big and strong
I absolutely LOVE this store! The prices are so reasonable and they have so many colourful beautiful houseware/kitchen items, childrens toys, flowers/arrangements, plants, pots and linen. WOW! So much YES! <3
Beautiful array of colourful, healthy plants and home decor items
Zocalo is quite fabulous. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Great selection of product that fit any budget.
Came in for different pots and stuff for my plants! The employees were so helpful and directed me to all the things I needed and created a welcoming experience. The shop is so warm and cozy, the plants all look like they're thriving and that they're taken good care of. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for some cute pots and plants :-)
Awesome place to find very carefully selected, well-taken care of and unique plants (new selection monthly!)... obviously you'll have to pay a bit extra compared to mass produced Ikea but your plants will finally survive! Amazing coffee too and place to sit-down in the greenhouse or buy unique home accessories and gifts :)
Thought it would be a sweet little gem to visit, but nothing special in terms of plants really, way overpriced (found nicer/comparable succulents at the farmers market for 1/2 the price), and the sales staff were uninterested, rude, and unhelpful. Wasn't impressed unfortunately.
Really nice place for plants and other stuff. But the service is not nice. Unfriendly and scanty. I asked my Italian friends if they've been to this nice Zocalo plant shop at Little Italy. They said the same thing, yes, it's beautiful but the people there sucks.
Amazing little gem here in Edmonton great staff
Once again, as every year, Zocalo 'surprised' us with a really super-beautiful bouquet we got for my wife's birthday. No surprise, really, the quality is always excellent, and Zocalo our favourite flower-shop (and Café, if we get to it) in Edmonton and beyond :-) Happy New Year!
Where else can you sit and enjoy your coffee in a greenhouse on gloomy Edmonton days? Best cafe outside of the Muttart Conservatory.
I really liked this place. The coffee has very good quality, and you can enjoy it under the sky in the middle of our harsh winter. If you decide to have it at the patio, you will be surrounded by tropical plants. They are overpriced, but they really embellish the coffee shop.
Beautiful space- great for those of us that are missing green in the winter. Staff were incredibly friendly, the espresso was smooth, and I came home with a new plant or two!
Wonderful place to get gorgeous flowers. The staff is friendly, helpful, and honest.
I have been to Zocalo twice this year, and I hate to it, but I think today will be the last time I ever visit this Shop for plants. The cacti looked pretty good both times I visited though, so whoever is in charge of cacti and succulents is doing a good job in my opinion. Perhaps I'm just unlucky, but all of the plants I have purchased from Zocalo have had issues with their roots, specifically, my Monstera Adansonii that I paid almost $30 Dollars for. My Monstera was root bound because it was trying to grow around a plastic tray that was carelessly left inside of the hanging basket it was sold in. Maybe that was the fault of the supplier, and not Zocalo's fault, but I can't believe that a solid plastic tray with a 6-in diameter was left inside the bottom of a pot, and was covered up by dirt with no regard for the plant. But, back to my main point. I decided to give Zocalo another chance today, because as I said before, I thought I was just unlucky the first time I visited and bought plants, but what I saw today was sad. I almost left with no plants because I couldn't find healthy specimens of the types of plants I wanted. I understand that it is basically Winter right now in Edmonton, but that does not excuse the number of plants I saw in poor condition today. Don't get me wrong, some of the plants did look nice, but a lot of the plants I inspected with the intention of taking them home seemed to need to be repotted immediately, were very wet/soggy,or were having other issues (brown leaves, smaller than normal leaves, leggy plants, dying roots, etc.) I have also noticed that Zocalo barely uses any perlite in any of their soil mixtures, which likely explains why I've had so many root issues. The final nail in the coffin for me, and what really inspired me to write this review instead of keeping quiet was the price of the "Raven" or "Black" ZZ Plants I saw in stock today. Just because you CAN charge $50 for something, does not mean you should. Raven ZZ Plants are not rare, and the $50 Dollar price tag is not justified no matter what time of year it is, especially not for a 4"-6" plant. I'm sorry if the wholesaler you bought them from charged you so much that you had to sell them for this price, but it's just not fair to the consumer, especially when cheaper local options are available. If you go online and search for Raven ZZ Plants for sale in Edmonton, you will find plants available for half the price at other local Stores. In fact, the local Edmonton Rona Hardware Store is selling Raven ZZ Plants for $20 Dollars each, and they're the same size as the ones I saw at Zocalo today. If I can get a 4" Pink Princess Philodendron from Botaniful in Edmonton for $60, then Zocalo should not be charging the same price for arguably much less rare Raven ZZ Plants. I'm not trying to price shame Zocalo, I am trying to be realistic. I understand that it is difficult to compete with big box stores like Rona and Home Depot, but If you could buy something for half the price, wouldn't you want to pay less for the same product? In my opinion, if this Shop wants to sell plants for more than the average retail price because they're providing an experience to their customers, that's fine and justifiable, but the higher prices should also mean higher quality plants. In my opinion, the least you could do is make sure the plants you sell are in very good shape if you're asking more money for common plants than other local retailers. That may sound harsh, but I don't want local stores to get the wrong idea. It's not okay to be overcharging people for common plants that can be easily propagated. Zocalo, I hate to say this, but there is nothing you can do to immediately fix how my experience went today, at least not if my review is not considered. I do not wish for an apology or a response to this review, I am simply writing this with the hope that someone working at Zocalo will see this review, and try to save the plants that are currently for sale from dying.
Cute little shop with a lovely long table in the greenhouse that’s perfect for getting some work done!!
Beautiful little oasis in the city.
Really good coffee! Flowers looked amazing as well.
Great place for plants for cheap also have some tereruim plants not a large amount.
Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly staff. :)
One of the cutest little garden shops in Edmonton.
This is my favourite place to pretend like winter doesn't exist. All the products they sell are high quality and beautiful. You can also drink your coffee in their wonderful greenhouse too. A really good place to take the parents, grandparents, or anyone visiting from out of town that think Edmonton doesn't have it going on.
Beautiful greenhouse! I would definitely love to have coffeee in there
Very cute store, nice but expensive plants and local nicknacks.
Beautiful flowers and helpful staff. They were very accommodating and helpful explaining their policies due to covid-19. They had just reopened a few days before.
Really nice atmosphere and inspirational place with pretty combo of colors, music and Tempting coffee smell.
Stopped in today to buy some plants. First, the plants are a bit overpriced. Second, the lemon lime philodendron I bought was covered in thrips which I did not realize until I got home. Was pretty disappointed. Stopped by two other plant shops today with better pricing and healthier/pest-free plants.
I just LOVE their plants! Really nice staff and it's really convenient being downtown
Love Zocalo...been going there for years. Very helpful and attentive staff.
Beautiful little cafe that doubles as a greenhouse, it's great!
I went it and witnessed sooooo many bugs. I was looking for a prayer plant and the ones above it has so many hanging spider mites and webs and tiny little crawlies. Theyre infested. Don't buy your plants from here unless you're okay with dealing with an infestation. ** update, they replied, and I can absolutely confirm (I wish I'd taken a picture lol) that they were in fact not spiders and very tiny black bugs i believe to be Thrips. You should definitely check again. And after this response of denying it, I won't be coming back, but thank you.
The scones & muffins are AMAZING and TO DIE FOR!!! Grace is a very talented cook, everyone should take the chance to go into zocalo and enjoy the experience. Grab a treat, walk around & look at the amazing plants and trinkets within this friendly environment!
I love the colour, the plants, all the knick knacks. Good tea too! Great place to come with friends.
Great spot for plants and flowers, gifts and coffee. I love enjoying a coffee in their green atrium.
I was in search of some air cleaning plants for the house and was able to find 2 lovely Bromeliads! The store also had a nice selection of hanging plant holders and I was able to find a couple I liked. When it came to getting the plants in new pots, I spoke to a nice gentlemen who replanted it for me at the store!!! The service was great and helpful because I couldn’t bring a whole bag of soil back to my apartment. I will be back for more plants! :)
Beautiful place, lots of variety!
What a lovely and unique place! The coffee tastes very Italian - simply amazing. And the atmosphere is one of a kind... One of my new favorite spots in Edmonton. Bring some time, to nice to quickly rush in and out :-)
I get a weekly bouquet to brighten up Edmonton winters & have never been disappointed by the quality of flowers. Stasha continually creates stunning designs & their kitchen wares are also a good place for gift shopping.
Best place to order flowers, online, for Edmonton and area! Even done same day delivery to Sherwood Park. Oh, great store, too! Wonderful, urban oasis of color and greenery...and coffee and snacks, too.
Cute gifts. Good coffee. Fair prices.
I ordered eight houseplants online from this company to be delivered (pandemic life, right?!). The plants were in gorgeous condition when they arrive, as were the pots I ordered, by a very friendly and professional. I will shop again from them in the future!
Beautiful shop with big selection of flowers, plants, pots, plates and kitchen, home accessories plus nice seating in the midst of it all to enjoy an espresso and light food. Some huge potted herbs such as rosemary so that you never run short. Right next to the Italian Centre in the middle of little Italy.
Favourite little plant shop! Always so impressed and happy with the variety and prices. Plus, it's seriously the cutest store in Edmonton.
Love the place, the plants. It's relaxing, cozy and a little oasis.
Cozzy , this is a inspirational place. They combine color, music and products making your shopping experience unique. Great food too.
hands-down my favourite cafe in the city.
The place itself is very pretty. It is a greenhouse and a little store with cute stuff. Service is good, coffee is good. I like the atmosphere. If you want tosmethjng different, you should try this place.
Cafe and amazing green house in one. Plus they sell little gift items. Love this little gem.
My aunt brought me here for a visit and I'm enchanted! So much color, amazing smells, beautiful gifts and flourishing plant life. It's a gorgeous spot that has it all and is definitely worth checking out.
Zocalo has been a part of our family since moving to Riverdale in 2007. They've provided flowers for our wedding and there are regularly featured in our home. Besides being a fantastic florist, they also have some of the most unique glass and home decor along with tasty baking and coffee! They even sell plants in summer and Christmas trees in winter. You never quite know what surprises you'll find, and you may pay a little more, but you know it will be uniquely Edmonton!
Such an awesome place, and incredible selection for their size.
I love this store. Just walking into all that colour can brighten your day! Also, great coffee and snacks. But it's the "stuff" that pulls me in. My dream kitchen is in there!
Lovely plant shop with a cafe attached. They also support locally made items and items that would make unique gifts. Excellent staff.
What a great place to meet up with friends and sit amongst the beautiful flowers and greenery. Also great place to find unique gifts.
Solid coffee and light far, great spot for enjoying on a sunny and cold afternoon.
Wonderful place to pick up some plants and maybe a coffee to sit and enjoy in the flower shop
One of McCauley's treasures, it's so much more than a florist. Stay a while and have an espresso in the greenhouse.
Adorable cafe mixed with a greenhouse. Seating can be inside or outside with the plants, which is quite lovely. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Best of all, prices were very reasonable for our needs (i.e. buying qn office plant). Discovered this place by accident but might come up with an excuse to come again!
Hidden gem. Great cakes. Delicious coffee. Sunny, humid plant atrium provides a mini break from winter.
Beautiful space, great flowers (albeit pricey) and a goto when searching for a gift for the wife.
Zocalo's flower arrangements are some of the most beautiful and unique in the city, and their quality is consistently superior. I just used their delivery service for the first time on Christmas Eve. They were caring, prompt, and the recipient was thrilled. Many thanks for delivering great service - again - on a very busy day of the year!
Beautiful greenhouse and shop.
This is Edmonton's hidden treasure. This is a MUST visit if you're in Edmonton. This little cafe, part green house, part shop is one of the highlights of little Italy. Get away from the winter blues in a lush garden that's open year round. You can find my here at least once a week enjoying the sounds and smells of summer.
Come for the plants, stay for the coffee. Beautiful selections of plants, and the ability to enjoy coffee in the green house is second to none.
Such an amazing selection of plants the staff are super helpful
Cool garden Centre, store, and coffee shop. Great sense of community
Super cool place to grab coffee with a friend and beautiful plants! I got a beautiful split leaf philodendron for a super good price
Coffee, cakes and light lunch, in the best plant and gift store in town.
Beautiful little store, delicious food and coffees with exceptional staff.
Lovely place that I never really knew existed. A lovely young man working in the green house area that was not only cute but very helpful. I will def. Be shopping here again
Wow, was all l can say was beautiful as soon as l entered the business. Fun and friendly staff, very knowledgeable on all the beautiful plants. From starts to well established plants the prices were fair. One hundred percent you can expect me again
This place is so cute and the greenhouse area is so welcoming! They had a large variety of succulents and I found just what I was looking for. I will definitely be coming back when I have more time to enjoy a coffee :)
Great atmosphere for a coffee and treat. Expensive but neat knick-knacks for sale.
Grab some some tasty coffee, browse their quirky store and enjoy their wonderful plant selection.
Tasteful displays of flowers, glassware, and seasonal decorations with a very nice coffee bar included.
A nice relaxing small greenhouse-like shop.
Zocalo is one of my favorite plant shops in the city! The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciate that they wrap up the plants I purchase with care and consideration. The store itself, with all the plants in their green …
Such an amazing place to visit. The green house is amazing! And great coffee!
Best plant store in the central area. Prices are fair and the atmosphere is great. The cafe is an added bonus, though I personally have not tried their coffee
I got 80% of my plants here! they never disappoint with selections and care ! Also friendly staff :)
Cozy and unique flower/gift/coffee shop
I love Zocalo. Great mochas. Lovely environment. Awesome place to sit and caffeinate with the plants.
Unique greenhouse/cafe/giftshop. Great place for a coffee and sandwich amidst some plants and flowers.
Absolutely beautiful store and the staff are really great. I had such a wonderful experience today with the gentleman working at the front. He did let me know about the mask policy and was so very gracious when I explained my medical exemption. I will always be a customer here!
So much variety in tropical plants!! It is inspiring how many different kinds they have in there! I went in mid December and fully expected to see all poinsettias. Not so! To put it perspective I counted about 4 or 5 kinds of philodendron, …
Great place to meet friends and family for coffee and a snack. Eclectic items in the store from hats to scarfs to puzzles. That’s the store side. Attached is a wonderful greenhouse that you can drink your coffee in. Zucalo the place you can get pots, perennials and more. I have come here many times over the years and always enjoyed it here.
I regularly enter this shop for plants and seasonal goods/gifts. Big enough selection of products and the plants are always healthy. My most recent visit, I left with a sales item that I grabbed on the way to the till. I noticed after driving away in my car that my bill seemed alittle high. Upon second glance I had been charged full price. I went back into the store to explain to the relatively new cashier what had happened, and he fully apologized and got help from a manager. I got refunded the incorrect price, as well as the sales price repaid back. I though this was excellent business practice and I have no problem returning to spend more money here.
Such a beautiful place with so many interesting items and a great food selection.
Great selection, wonderful plants, a little expensive but really good quality items and plants.
Amazing selection of plants and everything you need to keep those plants happy. They have some furry friends that roam around the greenhouse and like a good ear scratch or belly rub. Lots of local vegetables available too.
A truly unique Edmonton Cafe. Contains a housewares/curiosity shop that sells coffee and pastries attached to an indoor greenhouse. You can sit among the lovely plants and enjoy a nice latte at a long group table or sit privately at the front of the shop at 2 person tables. Nice selection of plants and gardening accessories.
This 5 star review is long overdue. I've been here many times and I've ordered both flowers and plants online and over the phone and they have been fantastic (the plants and the customer service)! The arrangement I ordered was stellar and good value for cost. The gift and coffee shop is worth the visit. This is one of my favourite places to visit in the city.
Love this store! Coffee, gifts, plants & flowers, and fantastic staff - what else do you need?
Has plants all year round and very colourful and interesting household items. Plus now you can now have a glass of wine. Perfect
Zocalo’s is a wonderful spot. There is great coffee and wonderful food items. There are plenty of gift items for a kitchen and an amazing greenhouse. A man cannot go wrong if he brings his significant other to this shop!
Very helpful and friendly staff. Cozy place.
Very cool place, lots of neat gift ideas and coffee too!
Beautiful coffee shop/garden - much more that anyone could imagine before walk in. Nice staff and delicious carrot cake. Eat surrounded by plants and with the beautiful sunlight is an awesome experience.
Picked up some red tulips today and put them a vase with some water 4 hours later they are limp and dead. What a great gift for my girlfriend shriveled up flowers bought just earlier in the day... don’t think I’m going back.
Great place to order flowers online (& free delivery in Edmonton)! I had to contact them to change my order and was accommodated no problem (& promptly). I will definitely order from here again- highly recommended.
Plants and coffee!! Best combo
I received a call yesterday morning saying some flowers would be delivered that day and if I would be home late morning or early afternoon. I said yes but the flowers never arrived. I phoned again late afternoon and the gentleman confirmed orchids would come but delivery was running late. They never came. I am not sure if Zocalo was playing a joke or scamming people about sending flowers. I hope who ever purchased and wanted delivery gets a refund. Zocalo never said who was sending so I can't let the sender know I did not receive the flowers.
It's like drinking great coffee in a greenhouse what is not to like
Beautiful, unique items but is a bit more pricey.
Lovely place, with lovely plants and lovely people. They sell local artwork as well, especially blown glass, pottery and paper products.
Amazing and lovely shop
Nice place and nice people ! I liked the beautiful garden plants and fantastic thinks inside
If you are looking for Mexican pottery, this is the place! Great indoor plant selection and unique gifts as well!
Great selections pleasant atmosphere
This place is like walking into a tropical paradise. Very knowledgeable staff. Beautiful plants everything from pineapple trees to spider plants.
Zocalo literally saved my wedding day. After my florist completely butchered my bouquet and gave me the ugliest succulent I have ever seen in my life, I called Zocalo, and asked if they had succulents and they said yes. I sent my bridesmaids over, and for only $8 they got the perfect and most beautiful succulent for my bridal bouquet. Zocalo you saved my wedding thank you!
Excellent frequency Caffe. Price point is high
This is such a cute shop. It has a great spot to sit and enjoy a Sandwich or Soup made with greens and tomatoes from their roof top garden. Sitting having soup or a latte among the plants or watching people go buy whilst sitting inside the actual gift and flower shop is a serene relaxing place to spend a couple of hours. One of my faves.
I have been to this cafe a couple of times and the last time I went I was upset by the behaviour that I witnessed from a woman who I assume was the manager publicly berating an employee for making a mistake. I overheard the employee say she wasn't trained. There is never any need to rudely speak to your employee, its disrespectful and doesnt teach anyone anything. I have always liked the staff at this store but seeing this type of treatment from who i assume is the manager to the staff is unacceptable and ugly. I Will not be returning.
Great little florist and plant shop/bistro. A touch high in some of their price points but the quality and great service is always there! Grab a coffee, walk the floors of this cute quaint shop. Unique and wonderful things await almost anyone who wishes to brighten up their or someone's life.
Wonderful place fir a coffee and a dessert. Beautiful flower arrangements can be bought/ordered and one of a kind gifts. Small greenhouse with seasonal selections. Small but perfect place for Community!
Green in the middle of winter and the best price on an Americano in the city.
A very cozy place to have coffee inside their greenhouse. Tropical plants prices are in comparable with other greenhouses. They have a unique selection of terra cotta pots designed with Mexican style. May 2019 3rd week visit Bought some plant beddings for $5 a six pack
Great cafe and gifts. Love this place
A great place for coffee. Beautiful atmosphere.
Cute flower shop, with great coffee and dessert
Love this shop, you can find all kinds of wonderful and unique items
Latte and cheesecake were delicious. The place is nicely decorated. A true gem in Edmonton.
Plants, flowers, pottery, coffee, cake and more. Great stuff, all of it, beautiful space.
Beautiful little plant store. The staff are always friendly. I try to get all my plants here!
favorite flower shop in the YEG. Saturday traditions include long bike rides, marathon runs and coffee and tranquility there after at Zocalo. great prices and good quality. So Zen I could hang here for hours.
Best coffee ever and the most peaceful cafe I've been too. Its my little escape from winter.
What a cool place. It has it all .... food, gifts, plants, flowers... definitely going back. We got these tasty items while on a tour of the neighbourhood but the store has much, much more. The greenhouse is beautiful!
A favourite place to visit! Lots of unique items with a European flair. Also a unique environment to go have a light bite to eat or just a coffee or two. The sit down area in the plant area is truly a lush place to enjoy a coffee! High ceilings, lush vegetation (which you can buy) combined with lots of glass and natural light.
A true hidden gem. Great espresso and a great atmosphere. Where else in the city can you have a soup, sandwich, and coffee while sitting in a warm greenhouse and watching the snow fall. Glad I found it!
A nice place for coffee and shopping.
Great artisan cafe with a greenhouse where you can drink your coffee surrounded by plants
Beautiful. Gorgeous. I would give 5 stars except their drinks are really expensive for what you get. My favourite place to sit is at the table in the attached greenhouse. Unfortunately they do not have plug ins in there, so I can't study surrounded by plants.
Bought 4 plants from this company, plants were not in very good shape, and fellow who worked there was the rudest person I encountered in a long time, 1 st time there and guarantee you my last, no need to be disrespectful and be treated like garbage from store personnel.
Clean place and helpful staff
Great variety of plants, flowers and gift ideas..good lata as well
My favorite place in Edmonton, it has such an amazing and unique community, whenever my plants are from there they do amazing. Also a really friendly cafe.
I love their bright cafe. It's perfect for summer day and you can have your coffee in their beautiful greenhouse.
I received my zz and monstera plants. Delivery was fast and the plants were packaged well. Both of my plants were healthy and beautiful! Thank you Zocalo's staff!
Gorgeous place, great selection, prices on orchids are less than half any other florist in the city.
Beautiful plants, amazing selection, and excellent protocol in place for customers. I was overjoyed to see they had Lemon Balm, I had been looking EVERYWHERE for some!
Very dissapointing. Ordered the $30 red succelent planter, which in the online photo appears as rectangular and at least 6 inches by 2 inches. What was recieved was a very small square planter smaller than a teacup - completely different than the photo & very dissapointing.
Ordered flowers this week for delivery on Valentine's Day. They arrived to the recipient yesterday in a timely way and the flower arrangement was amazing. They made a great impression on everyone too. Thank you for your great work Zocalo!
Another sadly overpriced cafe. The store and plants are nice but it isn comfortable to sit at and certainly not worth the money. I spent $6 on a pitiful amount of soup that cost less that 60 cents to make (no joke). Sad waste of money. I won't be wasting my time or money here again. Plus the music was so overwhelmingly loud I couldnt handle it even with my earplugs. Overall very poor experience.
This is a beautiful flower, gift shop, coffee house in Little Italy Edmonton. I just love the artisan wares and the flowers are not your run of the mill arrangements. Cost is pretty reasonable too. Check out the salad spoons that look like gardening tools, so cute.
Espresso Milkshake deserves 10 stars!
A unique assortment of beautiful things. Pleasant expérience.
Beautiful establishment!
Fantastic. Also amazing macarons in the cafe.
Absolutely stunning place! It's wonderful to come in the winter to remind yourself there's still life in the world. Only objections is sometimes staff seems a little disorganized on the bar, I've had a few drink mix ups.
My son wanted to start a terrarium and we needed plants and supplies. We found this place through google and decided to check it out and we were glad we did. …
Great location! Such a vibrant atmosphere, incredible design. Top quality flowers. The staff are knowledgeable and super helpful at all times. And the cafe is a brilliant added touch. Amazing place for coffee on a scorching Edmonton afternoon.
Beautiful and bright! Their staff and treats are delightful!
As always, my favorite place in Edmonton. It is truly a slice of heaven. You can't go in here and not feel happy. They take so much time to cultivate an absolutely beautiful space.
Unique floral and gift shop.
Great shop and nursery. Some very unique finds in there, prices are a little high but for quality and local stuff it’s worth it! Can’t wait till cafe is open again to check it out
Love Zocalo's for their flowers, coffee and cookies. Nice spot to sit and relax amongst the plants.
Best plants, lovely containers
Great selection of succulents, and always an interesting collection of kitchen and housewares to choose from.
A beautiful treasure chest in the heart of the city!
The plants are little bit pricey but they are worth the money.
Not ceplace with lots of interesting things and a good fower shop. The greenhouse side is a nice get away in the Edmonton winter's for a drink and a snack.
Great local business. Very quaint.
I live in London ON and was looking for a place to order a Mother's Day gift from. I ordered it online but my friend's address was out of the district. They called me and worked it out with me for her to pick it up. It was ready when I needed it and they even added a matching dish to make up for my delivery fee. They were very pleasant to work with and their online store is overloaded with cute flowers, plants and other gift (etc.). Would love to check this place out if I ever get to visit. :)
I contacted Zocalo Gallery to create a few flower arrangements for me. As a first time customer I found the staff very accommodating and I was extremely impressed with their florist Laura! Her creativity was beyond my expectations. Thank you!
Very friendly, helpful staff. Great quality flowers.
Beautiful place but the service from the mail staff member was unprofessional and he was rude to us.
We ordered flowers for a Work Event. The Customer Service was excellent and the flowers were beautiful! We will definitely use Zocalo for future functions. Thank you!
Zocalo is always my favorate hang out. Always order coffee and carrot care. Today, i came again and order same thing but the carrot cake was soooo hard. I cant take it .i ask to replace it. The 2 server doesnt even want to change it. ...well, Koodos to you ladies. A piece of cake ruin for a nice zocalo name because of you.. And ill let all my friends know your good deeds...
One my the best places in Edmonton. Absolutely beautiful shop.
Cute store with friendly staff
Very nice seasonal product . Plants and succulents galore. Store is very bright and easy to move around . Competitive prices. Love coming here at any time of the year.
Great place to buy your plants but great place for gathering for a good copy of friends.
We purchased flowers and bouteniers for a wedding and we were very impressed with how they turned out. They were reasonably priced and the arrangement was beautiful. We couldn't ask for anything more!
Beautiful cafe and greenhouse. Surprisingly reasonable prices
One of the best places in Edmonton for a cappuccino or cup of tea surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.
They have a great selection of plants and the staff are super friendly.
One of my favorite little spots to visit, and I never leave empty handed. Incredible atmosphere, the plants are always in excellent condition, the prices are good, and the staff are absolutely wonderful and helpful. And the cafe is delightful, very colorful and very delicious. Definitely recommend to all plant lovers or if you just need to check out a place to zen out.
Like the concept of drinking coffee inside a flower shop????
I walk with a walker awesome staff they replanted a plant for me no charge and help me out side it was the second plant I bought it won't be the last and the prices are so reasonable
It's a unique shop with pottery and glassware on one side then a coffee shop with tropical plants and sitting area for enjoying the ambience of the location.
What a beautiful space to enjoy a coffee and a variety of plants and flowers. An abundance of natural sunlight in the greenhouse. Friendly staff. I enjoyed my latte; it was not too heavy on the milk and the espresso was aromatic. I will have to come back to try their sandwiches.
Zocalo is located in "little Italy" on 95st. , Edmonton. The store is very eye catching with merchandise of visual beauty, but of little actual value. The best products might be plants and flowers, which seem expensive. The main appeal of the store is its visual eye catching, but of no practical value.I don't know if policy allows refunds to purchased items once the poor customer wakes up to realize he overpaid.
Returned a pot, it did not fit my plant unfortunately. I had it for a few weeks and had to water my plant twice a day. They said the pot was damaged by water.... I guess you cannot use normal water on their pots, buyer beware. I was never told the item was unreturnable and it also does not say it anywhere on my receipt. They said they were kind enough to give me an in store credit.... I wont be going back and do not reccomend. Should explain to your customers that an item is non refundable and that it will be crusty and disgusting after a few days at purchase. Thanks
Cute little corner cafe, with knick knacks, potted plants.
Zoccalo is one of my favourite go-to happy places. The coffee and treats are delicious. The gift shop always features a host of interesting and unique gift ideas. And the greenhouse: Aaah. Just aah! A wonderfully therapeutic place to sip your latte and breathe in the clean and refreshing aroma of plants and greenery. (And the plants and floral arrangements are pretty lovely too.). Definitely a local gem.
Great idea putting a table in he green house I always enjoy my time there
Will not accept calls from private name, private number. You know you're in the ghetto when, lol
This is a BEAUTIFUL store. GREAT coffee and spectacular plants.
It's unlike any other flower shop in the city ..it's own uniqueness speaks for itself!!..a must place to shop and visit in the heart of Little Italy!!
