You may have noticed that it reaches an reviews average is really good, and it's founded on a high number of reviews, so we can say that the evaluation is very credible. If people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are happy with the service, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to set tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Gardener belongs to the category of Vietnamese restaurant.
So friendly, clean, and the food is great. The ratio of meat and veggie compliment each other well. The taste is also great.
Very nice restaurant. We enjoyed the food and bubble teas???? Thank you!!
Friendly staff, fast service and the spring rolls were good!
Yummy. Good bubble tea. Satisfied my craving for salad rolls and vermicelli.
Good Vietnamese. Not 100% authentic but good flavors. It's probably the best you can get in Red Deer
Im a fan of pho...im not picky on that usually...but this soup taste was horrible... I can make better than that...also salad roll too
very plain no traditional taste....
The chicken in the stir-fry was not cooked in the stir fry as it was very dry. The steamed rice did not taste steamed as it was also dry. The salad rolls were terrible. With the outside covering, I had a tough time chewing. Also not a lot of veggies inside, mostly lettuce! I threw my rice in the garbage. It was dry, and didn't come with a sauce except soy...not coming back!
Service was pleasant. Prices were what we expected. My chicken vermicelli was so salty and chicken had no real flavour.
I've never had a bad experience here. Great food, friendly staff. And....fast.
Best bubble teas, fantastic war wonton soup, really skillfully made, truly quality over quantity
Great subs. Under 15 mins to get 3 made. Will return.
great food. enjoyed every bite!
Very good food and fast service
The Service was great and friendly and the bubble tea was large, full and filling. That's about all the positive I can say. The food was bland and very average tasting. The shrimp was salty and small. Red Deer, your vietnamese has let me down again.
Great people, food and prices. The Pho (beef noodle house special) is one of the best in town!
Horrible service Gross Pho friend got a bubble tea for her child due to no healthy options, menu says fruit mixes or powder mixes she discussed it with the server and ordered a strawberry fruit one and it was obviously artificial powdered no real fruit and when we brought it up they tried telling us no it was blended fruit. It tasted like strawberry milk from the store.
This is truly the best Vietnamese food in central alberta! So fresh and they actually have herbs!
Wifes order was okay, I had the beef stir fry and was very disappointed with it. Beef was very dry and I'm pretty sure the vegetable mix is the same frozen vegetable mix you get at Costco with some onion added.
Avoid at all costs. Food is absolutely horrible here. I never write reviews but I wouldn't want anyone wasting their money here. The spring rolls are very poor quality and I got a order of salad rolls that came with watered down peanut sauce. Cheap and a huge waste of $20.
Delicious food and not bad prices! Fresh and tasty!!
I have been enjoying eating at this restaurant for a few years now. The staff are great, food is delicious without being heavy on the sauce. Many dishes are gluten free that tastes good. If it is your first visit - Beef vermicelli bowl with a starter of shrimp salad rolls are my go to.
Clean healthy food. Good service.
The food was very fresh and delicious. Very large servings. I will go back
Good food, decent price, friendly staff. Cleanest Vietmanese restaurant, Red Deer. Bathroom, restuarant sanitized, cleaned daily.
These guys know their tripe. They cut it in a way that just works. They always aim to please and service is very fast
Pho is great, girls are nice and freindly, the broth needs some work for a deeper flavor, but it's still yummy.
Very good good. Good service. Throughly recommend.
#38 is the best! Always good
Best bubble tea in the city!!!
We tried the beef satay sub, spring rolls and wonton soup. Won ton soup was quite large and pretty good, spring rolls were very good. However the Vietnamese beef satay sub was not good, they used quite large strips of beef that were dry and very chewy. Couldn’t even bite through most of the pieces. A tad disappointed because I’ve tried the satay subs from 2 or 3 other places in Red Deer and love them all. Not this one though. Sub was more expensive than other places too, so I was expecting better.
We typically order delivery or takeout from here. It is always delicious. Spring rolls are always fantastic! Won ton soup is tasty and satisfying, lots of veggies and won tons. Shrimp salad rolls are perfect for a light lunch. Ingredients are fresh and look appetizing. One of my favourite restaurants for good Vietnamese cooking.
Quality vermicelli at this spot, bubble tea is authentic!
One of my favorites. The noodle bowls and subs are super fresh and taste amazing.
First time here , and wow ! Great food and great little place. Clean and very friendly staff ! We will be back
Yummy food, perfect bubble tea, great service!
Food was good nice serene lunch.
Food was good and fresh. I like a more flavourful broth in pho, broth was watery weak. No utensils included for togo. Also make sure they use a calculator to total bill...we were overcharged $2.00. not a big deal.
This place has amazing food.
I ordered the spicy beef soup and the charbroiled pork and prawns, and it was delicious! It had lots of flavour in the meat and you can taste the lemon grass which gives it an authentic flavour, and the broth was so tasteful. Would highly recommend this place if you want good Vietnamese food.
Half assed. No basil with the pho.. is it supposed to be grey? Dont think ill be back.
3rd update: Got some take outs and the vermicelli came with very little sauce. It tasted like eating plain noodles. Menu says "(5)" but looked like only 2-3 skinny spring rolls cut into small pieces. Overall, varying experiences with food and service. Spring rolls and salad rolls are okay but you can get just as good rolls from other Vietnamese restaurants at half the price. Back to 1 star rating. Sorry. ---- 2nd review: Went back second time. Much better service. Pho has a bit of a weird tangy taste which is different from any other I've tried. Spring rolls were good. ---- 1st review: Only visited once soon after they opened. Food was okay but didn't like the flavor that much. The service was almost rude. Not gone back since but maybe one day I'll try again.
Great place to eat and very friendly people. I would recommend this place to eat.
This place has really good vermicelli bowls. I like a little more variety in my salad rolls but they were good as well.
Nice rice noodle restaurant What if they served some coriander, I would be happier
Casual, quick, healthy Vietnamese dining at it's best. Recommend the pho and subs.
Decent food and good prices.
Food is ok. Wish there were tofu options. Make sure to double check for utensils before leaving if you order to go- I don't know what it is with restaurants in Red Deer, but I always specifically ask for utensils and never get any. Guess I'm using some pens I cleaned to try to eat my food at work. I only get takeout when I am really busy and don't have time to make myself food, ergo ordering takeout and hoping for utensils so I can actually eat my food. Staff aren't the most friendly. Likely won't take out from here again.
Love going here for lunch. The food is always quick and good.
The smallest “large” pho you’ll ever see.... Almost 40$ for an unsatisfying lunch for two. No utensils in the bag and barely any beansprouts or cilantro, which would’ve costed cents to include. The peanut sauce is awesome but based on portion sizes, I don’t think I’ll return.
Have only been a few times but so far Im happy w the food and the service. The lady that owns it is incredibly kind. My best friend is Vietnamese so I have had authentic food since I was 18 (not expelling my current age haha) but let's say it's been a bit, and this place satisfies.
The restaurant has vegan options and we are vegan so we found the restaurant perfect for us. Very tasty items in their menu. Clean, positive place & the decor is quite colorful. Steve&Stace BC, Canada
I just ordered for pick up. 20 $ for 1 soup which they ran out of Brusselsprouts (the only reason i ordered it) and spring rolls. I wasn't discounted or anything. Its not worth the money i wont be back or recommend.
Really good food and the best service ever, love this place 5+ soooooooo good 5+ all day long. A most try and one of my regular stops now
One of my favourite go to spots here in the area. Healthy simple food!
Great! Nice clean place. The Pho tasted Good. Service was impeccable and my order came fast. The price was right. The portion was perfect. They had all the condiments right on the Table. Did not have to ask for anything they had it all there. Washroom was clean. Ample parking. Couldn't ask for more :) They deserved my 5 STARS. I will surely be back :) Highly recommended if you're in for a quick bite. NOT Fine dining.
Visited this place for soup on our way through red deer. Compared to our Vietnamese restaraunts at home we got a huge portion for a very small price... And it was delicious. The place is very clean and simple, service was fast and very good. I will be back next time I'm in town!
Very good food - best Vietnamese in Red Deer
I really like this place. The food is always fast to come out and the Pho is delicious. Any criticism I have is because of how the dining room is set up. The height of the tables/chairs is awkward. The chairs are uncomfortable and on cold nights, it's very cold since they do not have double doors. All of the cold just hits the patrons. Despite the above, this place is definitely worth checking out. Friendly service and delicious food.
Just ordered here for the first time. My pho was some of the best ive had in town, spring rolls were tasty. Charbroiled chicken vermicelli was "lovely" she says. Thanks!!!
Terrible! Had the beef Pho and it was tasteless, plus they use frozen vegetables instead of fresh. No chopsticks or hoisin sauce. I guess you have to ask for those things??? Lol never again!!!
Pretty good vermacelli bowl, good spring rolls, fair prices, fast service.
Service was ok food was also ok
A little restaurant with lots of flavor. I will definitely go back!
Excellent food, fast courteous service and good prices
Excellent service and food! Would totally recommend it!
Ordered skip the dishes and tried out Vietnamese Garden for the first time. I was not disappointed everything came hot and fresh and super delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a reasonably priced place to eat. I have lots of leftovers for a full another meal or two
Food is great and the place is clean. I would recommend this place to others.
Very nice, bright, clean place, with great Phó and friendly staff!
The best vietnamese food I have ever had...
I ordered charbroiled pork with vermicelli. Then requested extra pork and extra beef (since I know most restaurants skimp out on the meat). Well that came to $20. After looking at what came out, I was disappointed...there was just enough meat. It looks like there's a lot until you realize that the entire bottom half is vermicelli. Not like that was bad enough, there was no flavor on the charbroiled pork and beef. I did douse the entire meal with the separate sauce that it comes with and all i could taste after was the sauce. Customer service was good though, quick and friendly. But never ordering any asian foods in Red deer...all have been sub par at best.
Good Food! Hot Soup! What else would you need?
Good food and clean restaurant
Whenever I am in Red-deer I try to stop in and eat here. Food is very tasty and good portion. Clean and comfortable restaurant with good service.
Scrumptious food, made within reasonable time, server was EXCELLENT. Food priced fairly
Ordered 4 pho soup, was terrible . My vermicelli bowl with mixed vegetables was noodles.with broccoli and carrots . Not impressed for the 125$ spent there. Do not recommend .
Blandest restaurant food I have ever eaten and I have been around the world. I don't usually post negative reviews but I was so hungry that I was sooo disappointed with the first food I had today. Must learn "seasoning". If u wanna sell bland food try sellling a different cuisine. Vietnamese should not taste like that.
My favorite Vietnamese go too. Staff is always friendly and great service. Always tell my friends
Loved it. A note in reply to a previous review: basil is one of many, many different garnishes for pho, it's not standard.
Vermicelli with chicken and spring rolls, amazing
Small menu but very good food. I will definitely go back.
Bubble tea is good. Nice and clean. Food portions are skimpy for the price.
My favourite veitnamese restaurant in town! Service is always amazing, food is fresh and their restaurant is clean. Love it here so much I’ll never go anywhere else.
Quick and friendly service. Food came quick, but lacked flavour and freshness. Spicy noodle soup: stock didn't have much flavour and body. Noodles and meat were ok. Bean sprouts appeared to be "last picked" - (a little sad looking) sping rolls were fresh, but lackluster.
First time here. Not disappointed, the food was really good. Will definitely be back.
Great atmosphere and beef stir fry was great!
Good food. Very large portion of meat in the vermicelli bowls.
Best Vietnamese in Red Deer for Pho. The staff are very friendly and the place is immaculate. Try the shrimp salad rolls, you wont be disappointed.
Fantastic vermicelli. The only thing missing was the peanuts!
