Usually quiet here. Great place to bring your family to see nature in bloom.

Jade Allen

So lovely. Love the lights that come on at night too. So many beautiful places to stop and sit for a bit too!!

Andy Farrow

Cool place to visit in Trochu. Took my family for my Mother in law's birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Looked like they were getting ready for a wedding which would be a cool location for that.

Barb V

An impressive project for a small town!

Matt Folkerts

Amazing Christmas lights! A must see!

waversplash

Beautiful flowers and is well looked after. There are also a few hummingbirds there too.

Erwan Oger

Nice place to walk through. The plants are labeled and the garden has good variety. We walked through after lunch on a hot day and enjoyed the 30 min we spent there. Clean washrooms. This would be a great place for a little teahouse/nursery to give a destination for plant aficionados.

Levon Vokins

Beautiful seasonal flowers, trees, and decorations. Perfect for a romantic stroll, birdwatching, or lunch with the kids.

OBJay

Beautifully well sculpted gardens. Volunteer based. Great place to feel at peace.

Emily Neis

Nice little garden maintained by the Town of Trochu. Has a lot of potential and a cute little restaurant. If you are in the area definitely worth a stroll through.

Barb Rees

They welcome dogs. Sweet Grass Cafe gave them water and treats. The food is delicious.

Ursula Thorn

Well worth stopping in Trochu to see this beautiful garden.

Shelley Bradford

An oasis of roses and plants to wander through and have a sit by the koi pond .

Maria Sporea

A very pleasant surprise. Large garden, a lot plants. Unfortunately a lot of work, and I feel not enough volunteers or hired staff. Definitely a place to visit a few times during blooming season, summer and fall!

Doug Nault

Absolutely Beautiful! But I sure wouldn't want to take down those Christmas lights

Michael Thompson

Nice little park. Entry by donation.

Adriana B

Beautiful location and well kept

Sandra McIntyre

We loved the Christmas lights. Lots of work and imagination went into this display. Easy parking and no crowds.

Harrison Sheremeta

A botanical oasis in the middle of the Alberta prairie, this is a ‘must stop’ for plant and garden lovers. There are many varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers, as well as the historic Dr. Hays Heritage House. There were even grapes growing here, which was surprising to see in Central Alberta! There are also excellent public washrooms in a heated and clean building. Although admission is not charged, please consider donating!

Blake Konynenbelt

It's nice but I'm not a huge plant guy, lol.

Mark Karstad

We turned up and a HUGE storm descended. We beat a hasty retreat.

Kyle McConnell

Beautiful well kept Arboretum. It is an oasis.

Shaine H Isaac

It is amazing what a small group of volunteers has accomplished over the years. This is a regular stop for my family. We find it very peaceful to stop by on a sunny Sunday afternoon with a picnic lunch. Or walk around at Christmas time drinking hot chocolate and enjoying the lights. Our daughter has had a few of her birthday tea parties in this wonderful setting.

Duchesne's Corner

Cute hidden gem. Great pit stop in a small town on your road trip.

patricia richardson

always enjoy the forest of lights! it has become a tradition with good friends. Hot chocolate with a hot dog first, then go walk around and check out the display of 12 days of Christmas and have a hoot singing each each year. Then warm up by the fire with some more hot chocolate. See you again next year ????????

Marilyn Mose

Beautiful little park to stroll through. Done up beautifully in the winter...theme 12 days of Christmas. Often serve hotdogs and hot chocolate. Bonfire. Very lovely!

Scott Hamon

Awesome walking trails, really beautiful!

Land Moose Reject

A very lovely spring and summer garden experience, with striking floral displays and calming pathway under spreading trees. It has the potential to be absolutely extraordinary with just a little bit more time and money invested, but one cannot fault the experience for admission by donation.

M Herbert

Beautiful quiet place. Carol Ann has been a wealth of knowledge for me. I will definitely be back to see the lights over Christmas holidays.

Outand About

Hidden treasure!!! Beautiful garden with clean, new washrooms. Also has a restaurant which sadly was closed when I visited but the locals give it rave reviews. Well worth the stop. You will not be disappointed! Update - Sept 2019 - the restaurant has moved to Main St but the garden is still fabulous !!

Justin Belford

I was there in the daytime in late October so there was not a lot to see, but the Christmas light show would probably be great and I bet the gardens would be excellent in the spring and summer.
