For ten years we have gone here for our Christmas tree and have our kids pick out an ornament. This year their covid fear was a out of control. Only letting 4 people into the store at a time is a bit silly when we all have masks on. Yelling at the customers when there were 6 people inside? All we wanted to do was spend our money in your store.

Plantation Garden Centre is a neighborhood garden centre, so smaller than some of the largest ones, but it still has a good selection of plants and gardening supplies at reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Fantastic local business. The staff are always top notch and super helpful. This time around I picked up my Christmas tree. Unlike just about everywhere else, they actually have their trees out on stands fully open so you can really take a good look at what you're buying and pick the right one for you. Great quality stuff with a huge variety of types and shapes. They cut the bottom and then gently and neatly bundle it for transport. Thanks again for the gorgeous tree!

I was so excited going to this store, like beyond excited that I even asked an employee to take a picture of me! I wanted to explore other garden stores/centres that Calgary has to offer and I found the plantation garden centre… I’ve been stuck at home like the most of us and picked up gardening. I’m just a giddy person by nature when it comes to something that I’m passionate about. So me being a novice gardener who’s just jumped into this, I had a lot of questions— a lot of questions that they couldn’t really answer). Sadly, I had less than a thrilling experience at Plantation garden centre. I was wanting to go the speak to some experts who could help me!! But unfortunately, I felt like no one could really help me based on my needs, (indoor growing fruits and vegetables, etc) I felt kinda belittled and was just super anxious I’ve the whole experience. I felt very mixed about the customer service that I was given during my visit, honestly, just judged. An employee was nice enough to help me pick out a fruit plant, but they just felt very in a rush and hurry. I cut my questions and went to then my go to garden store m in Calgary and thankfully that was a more so of a please my experience. I’m giving it a two stars because at least I got decent plants? I wasn’t in any fuss as I was told that fruit and vegetables season was way due passed. I was fortunate enough to find a little berry plant as well as some lemon grass. I sincerely apologize if I caused any discomfort towards you ladies.

Bought a beautiful Christmas Tree here. 7 foot Fraser Fir for around $90. Lots of selection of tree types and sizes. Super helpful staff as well. They even cut a fresh trunk base for us and bailed it for easy transport. They also sell lots of cute ornaments. Highly recommend getting your Christmas Tree here!

Omg!!! The BEST Customer Service!!! I was looking for a fountain ⛲️ plug and no other place I called would sell me the fountain plug because I didn’t buy my fountain ⛲️ at the ‘store’ I called Plantation Garden Centre and was so greatful for the kindness on the phone!!! So I though ‘I’m going to purchase some items for a few reasons 1. Support Local 2. Super amazing ???? customer service!! So I arrived at Plantation Garden and started to Shop! Oh and MORE great customer service!!! So now I’m going to purchase my items $88 worth and I let the cashier know I have a fountain plug set aside! I ask her ‘how much?’ She says ‘oh it’s FREE’!!!! ????????

As a newbie planter of plants, there is much I don't know. Thank goodness for Glen at Plantation Garden Centre! He helped me make sense of all the conflicting advice I had been wrestling with, and where to focus my efforts with my new babies. As a killer of all things green (I was not born with a green thumb), I am hopeful with Glen's advice I will be able to raise some strong shrubs, perennials and lawn :)

Friendly staff always interested in their customers and available for support. They communicate well about what I'm buying so I don't have to lug it around the entire place or maneuver a cart from greenhouse or bulky soil bags through the inside. Expect a bit higher prices than home depot or similar, but I've found quality products and harder to get plants. Including native bee friendly perennials, pitcher carnivorous that eats fungus knats, their 3 in 1 is my favorite soil for healthy plants at home I've found (Thank you ????)

Awesome local business all of the staff who work there are always super nice and sweet! Really cool selection of succulents as well that are different from your average variety. They sell many of the same pots that Golden acres carries but for cheaper which really awesome to see from a smaller business. Really recommend them!

I haven’t been to this greenhouse personally, but I called to enquire if they had a particular plant that’s out of stock every around Calgary. The man on the phone was so very helpful and friendly, so I can only imagine their whole operation is top notch. They also had the plant that I wanted in stock, so that was fantastic!
