The best Kung Pao Chicken I have had in Alberta. I visited Mundare yesterday and stopped at Lotus for lunch. There were lots of vegetables, like green peas, celery, green peppers, corn and they tasted fresh. The portion was huge, I couldn't finish it all. Told my wife about it and she wants to visit Mundare just for the Kung Pao Chicken! Thanks for great tasting food at a very reasonable price...see you again Lotus Garden.

There are two kinds of chinese food in Canada: the good stuff from Eastern Canada and the BLAH stuff Western Canada. This place serves the east coast style and its awesome. Its a small, 80's dated family run restaurant with no glam or bling but lots of heart and soul. I'm defintely making it my go-to for fried rice and other goodies.

This restaurant may not be the prettiest place you have been to but the Chinese food is definitely worth the visit and priced below it's great taste . The oriental lady serving is clearly straight forward in a welcoming way so get your order straight. Been back at least a dozen times and will return!

Great small town Chinese food. My combo 1A came with BBQ pork chow mein, an egg roll, sweet & sour pork and deep fried shrimp. Large portion. I'll be having leftovers tonight. The menu has all the typical standards you'd find in a place like this. If I lived in this town, I'm sure I'd be a regular.

Polite staff, food average, reasonably priced. Two of us however did find that the beef used in our ginger beef and beef and veggies tasted freezer burned. Hopefully this can be remedied because I'd like to come back when I'm in the area.

Food is pretty good, I find the ginger beef isn't the best but I'm picky and the beef and mixed vegetables wasn't good at all. The customer service is very poor! I called to make a order to go, she answered hello. Weird, thought I had the wrong number. I made my order she repeated I said yes then she hung up! I was going to call back and cancel. Then when I went to pickup I came in said hello, I'm here for my pickup order. She didn't say a word... Pushed my order to me then started typing the amount in the debit machine, even though she never asked how I was paying. I then thanked her for my order she just looked at me then went back to looking at other bills. No thank you, have a nice day, enjoy the food nothing.. Very rude I won't be going back there.. No people skills or customer service..
