More than just plants and trees. They have a great inventory of yard home and garden products. Pesticides, fertilizers, decor, planters, trellis's, plant hangers, garden tools, a large selection of seeds from many suppliers, hydroponic supplies, gifts and souvenirs. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Ample parking with easy access for wheelchairs. Great location. Beautiful buildings, layout, and displays. Clean, organized and pleasant environment for quick stop or a leisurely half a day to browse and relax.

There is a great assortment of fountains and yard features too. If a gift is what you need it's a one stop great gift shop as well. Offering jewelery, trinkits, and purses you can find it here. You will pay a bit more for the some of the same items at other retailers. All in all a nice store, shop around for common items.

I can't believe people are saying they haven't received excellent service!? Every single time I go to Green Haven I have a great experience! I love it there and shop there every year (as well as Hilltop Nursery). In the outdoor section they mostly have retired people who work there for a couple months helping out, they have always been kind and helpful. My only negative comment would be that the prices are a higher than other places in town for both plants and decor.

I am an avid gardener & have lived in Lethbridge all my life. I have a small greenhouse on my property & visit all the greenhouses to see the new varieties of plants & I also own a business, my flowers are always a great joy to my customers as well. Since most people have no tact when writing a review, I will start with the positive for this business. They have continuously had a great selection of perennials & trees. They also carry beautiful Christmas accessories if you are willing to pay for them. They lack quality & variety if you are purchasing annuals for the summer. The staff has not been knowledgeable in the annual or perennial department over the years. But most importantly when the owner has been asked for advice for a question I had from one of their staff (on at least 2 different visits), she was very aloof......we were taking up to much of her time. And it is this reason I only spent $4.00 here this year & spent the other $300 at Hilltop Greenhouse.

Lots of selection and helpful staff though a bit on the expensive side. The process for paying and/or returning an item (dead plant) was frustrating. After lining up at the cash for 10 minutes I was told to go to another station (completely unmarked so I had no idea that returns were supposed to go there). Then back to 1 of 2 cashiers .. the old way; choosing the shortest line which doesn't always translate to the quickest line. It would be so much better if there was a single line with the head of the line going to the first open cashier.

I have been purchasing for over 15 years now. I have every time been met with a very knowledgable staff who are eager to assist in your new gardening and landscape endeavour . Some of these reviews stating rude staff well honestly I think they may have rated the wrong greenhouse. I have never been met by that attitude .From the time plants start trickling in in spring and till late fall their selection is excellent. One nursery just east of them couldn't even find the time to return calls or emails on numerous occasions. Here if I had a question about something , I called. If they were not crazy busy they have always found the time to answer my questions. If that staff member didn't know, they found someone who did. Every single time. 15 years now and still like the day I walked in. Total satisfied. Very recommendable.

My favorite greenhouse to visit in Southern Alberta. They carry the cutest little cards from Wrendale Designs (Wrendale does a super cute line of mugs, too), and they always have such an interesting assortment of plants and plant care products to browse In 2019, I picked up a gorgeous yellow columbine. They had just come in and were on their way to fill the shelves when I caught sight of them. A nodding Lady Columbine soon had a new home, but within a year she was miserable. In 2020, Lady Columbine came up late, and struggled throughout the summer. She remained short and squat, and couldn't even bring herself to send up one bud. If she makes a 2021 comeback, I'll find her a new, sunnier estate to set roots down in. 2021 update: Lady Columbine made a comeback and sent out some blooms. In June 2020, I picked up a new passenger, Mme. J. P. Connell. I've never been a big fan of roses, but this one reminded me of the French countryside villages teeming with gorgeous climbing roses. Mme. Connell had shed most of her petals and looked a little bedraggled, but her program card said she would perform, and perform she did! By September, she was riot of blooms and gently scenting the air with her lovely fragrance. 2021: She made it through the winter and put most of her energy into growing upward instead of blooms this hot season. I'm pleased with how well she's adapted.

This is by far the best garden centre I've ever visited! The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. A special shout out to Ingrid - she went above and beyond to help me with a hard-to-find item for my mother's hanging pots and gave thorough advice regarding the perennials my fiancé was interested in. A shout out to Logan as well, who gave me some solid soil and amendment advice for my new vegetable garden. This is a great place for new gardeners to gain knowledge and insight! Aside from the exceptional staff working there, the selection of products sold is fantastic. The prices offer great value as well, with some items priced far lower than you'd find at the big box stores. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I'll definitely be in whenever I'm in the area.

Beautiful store but I have never felt more judged for bringing my small children into a store than I was today. No one asked if I needed help and when I went to pay the girl at the counter told my 4 year old son "it's not for you" when he asked about the christmas decoration she was holding. STAY AWAY!!!!! they sell shrubs with bugs, they tell you to spray with melithian. Wow should you have to spray for bugs on brand new trees I think not. We have sprayed 6 times and they are still getting eaten alive.Will only stand by their warranty if you have original receipt. Very helpful staff. I asked about the pepper plants and the woman that helped me was very knowledgeable. They have a great selection of herb plants, flowers, grasses, cactuses, and trees. The Bur Oak we bought from them earlier this year is growing wonderfully. My first stop for plants.

They have a good selection of plants and almost always have what I'm looking for but getting help finding what you're looking for is a completely different story. I haven't seen worse customer service from both staff and owner. My purchases weren't significant so I'll take my insignificant purchases elsewhere.
