This is a beautifully designed gardens right in the city of Calgary, that's developed and maintained by volunteers and the city of Calgary. It's very good for walks, awesome for ???? because of its unleash zones, great for plant enthusiast, and definitely a hidden treasure for garden and plant lovers. I am a huge fan of Shakespeare, so I was blown away by its Shakespeare themed garden. I have never personally seen a garden that reminded me of some of the greatest literature works of humanity.????????????????????????????. Most personal belongings missing here are usually found????????????

It is not officially a botanical gardens. It is a volunteer run enterprise that isn't 100% in keeping with the intention of Sarcee Park (the actual name). The volunteer group has torn up grass and put waste wood chips mulch down as a pathway but it ends up being a muddy mess and has caused me to get splinters in my feet even wearing running shoes. Also, be aware this is an off leash dog park.

This is such a gem in the city! They've done such an amazing job on this garden and it's so nice to have this space to enjoy beautiful flowers and plants. Great to see all of the bees enjoying the flowers too!! The labyrinth was a relaxing part too.

Beautiful and very well-maintained garden :) it's a very gorgeous walk to complete from start to finish. I love that it's off-leash too, my dog loved it. I would definitely recommend that you only bring your dog here if they know to stay out of the flower beds - it'd be a shame to ruin the lovely little flowers and bushes. Also loved the touch of the named areas and little garden statues. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back again soon!

Nice linear park, good place to walk the dog. There's a good amount of shade cover in the south half, so it is still pleasant on hot days. The northern part has a lot of flowers.

This is a very diverse and interesting garden. A visit to this park will have something for everyone. From the nostalgic birth place forest to beautiful flower gardens. This park is (off leash) dog friendly. Walk, run or sit. Taste test the fruits of the edible garden. Get in touch with your inner Self at the meditation maze. Or just site and enjoy company of friends. A very important place for contemplation.

Silver Springs Botanical Gardens is a wonderful series of flowerbeds in a park-like setting. Themed gardens, woods, orchard, and a labyrinth, add color and variety. A joy to walk through, sit on a bench, listen to the birds, and watch the busy bees and butterflies.

The Botanical Gardens is a must see. It is a hidden gem. Great hike and beautiful place to take pictures. Also a great place to take your pet if you have one. Our kids loved it. Go see it and leave a donation. It is worth the visit!!!

Can't wait to see what it looks like I. Full bloom. Went late May and the planting is just getting started. Some perennials are out and the walk from tip to tip is nice. It's also a 5 min walk to Bowness which has hours of walking paths.

An off leash dog park with an amazing assortment of flowers, bushes, trees, sculptures, and friendly people? Who can ask for more? Oh do be careful- a young coyote from the golf course across the street was trying to cross the road to get to this park so perhaps not all off leash canines are friendly dogs here....

When winter comes, this park is decorated with Xmas decorations all around in the park, on the summer park is is full of beautiful flowers and trees.Volunteers keep it clean and tidy.

Loved this place, it was beautiful. we went in fall so all the leaves had turned yellow. I had taken my 2 year old son and he enjoyed running around and seeing all the dogs that come there for their daily walk.

Don't go here if you don't like to be approached by aggressive dogs. This park is not a designated off-leash area, however dog owners let them run wild. The gardeners have done an exceptional work however.
