We've had a good year this year - I've used a new product called Best. I went to the government testing station where I first seen the product and I was very impressed on the side by sides, so I thought I would try it. I farm for the land, I don't farm for profit - if I farm for the land, the land makes me profit From what I understand, this product gives minerals to the plant then the minerals go back to the soil and I'm sold on that idea, and just from this year what I see from standability and the crops, and the performance of the crops - I've been farming a long time to know if a crop looks sick or if it's been hailed - it doesn't recover. This crop after spraying and after being hailed, you really just didn't notice the slump in the plants, they just remained very vigorous and very strong. - Doug S.

I've never seen so many seeds in the pods before - they've got lots of meat to them. My highest yield has been 56; for the hail that it's had when it was in flowering, it's the best canola crop I've ever grown and it's the first time I've used this product and it shows through in all my crops.

I would say that every farmer should apply it and try it and if they're happy with it and they see the results that I've seen, I think you would be very happy.

We've been using the Soil Rejuvenation (TM) for four years; this is our first year trying the Foliar, and well, the proof is there. It really helped our second growth come along; we've had second cuts where we go out and we pick and choose different spots to cut but what we've noticed is the Alfalfa has grown longer, it didn't just all go to bloom when the heat came. On an average year, we can expect a lot of Alfalfa on our second growth, but the grass is generally done by mid to late July, whereas the grasses really came on the second growth as well. - Mike R.

I would think that Best is a good product for almost all crops that we grow, it just seems to give it a little more quality and evenness - just generally a good crop overall.

I have been using the Best Farming System for two years on my wheat crop. I have noticed increased protein (1%) on the finished grain. My bushel weight increased, there was no lodging due to the strength of my straw. Underground I noticed a larger root mass. Best was safe and easy to handle. - Alex C., Sturgeon County

I sprayed one half of my Barley Silage field with the Best Farming System and then did feed tests on both sides. I didn’t expect this good of results! The TDN was 5.56% higher, total sugars was 4.18% higher and total starch was 7.14% higher on the side treated with Best! - SE Sask Dairy Producer

Since using Best, I have noticed that my canola on stubble will bloom up to 10 days longer than a neighbour’s canola on summer fallow when seeded the same day with equivalent inputs. It is especially noticeable when a hot, dry spell hits during flowering. It also holds and continues flowering days longer than without Best products. - Jeff G., Kindersley SK Area

This will be the fourth year we have been using the Best Farming System, with good results. The canola plants have an incredible root system and have been very healthy with less disease. We've been using Best for roughly six or seven years; one of the things that seems to really stand out is the seed treatment, enhanced germination and more vigorous germ. That seemed to, compared to a straight water solution, we did a comparison and it was remarkably different. Actually, the nutrient retention in the soil has been, seems like it's been increasing for the most part, slightly. And then particularly organic matter has been gradually coming up. Soil texture seems to be more mellow; the longer we use it, I'm pretty convinced that even to pull equipment through it easily requires less power. - Ed P.

I have been using Best on my wheat crop for 4 years. My wheat crop looks great; the heads are the biggest I have ever had on a wheat crop. My brix reading was 15-15.5%, the best it’s ever been.
