I bought a barbeque at this store in August 2011. It worked great until just lately. This spring it malfunctioned and became inoperable. I emailed the store with pictures and a description of what happened. Within an hour they responded. They told me to bring the barbeque back to the store for a 100% refund or credit towards a new barbeque. I could not be more pleased with the prompt service I received. My family has always wanted a hot tub and we have been shopping around the many Edmonton locations and choices for the past two years. I found that Beachcomber had the friendliest staff and the most welcoming showrooms around. The hot tubs are by far the most stylist around and are extremely efficient. The sales staff (Michael) was knowledgably, professional and personable... he answered every question and gave us a great price. Never did he "bash" the competition and showed us why we should consider Beachcomber hot tubs. On initial start up we had an issue with the breaker tripping constantly, Edmonton put me in contact with a tech (Luke) at the manufacturer plant in BC. He provided me with his cell number and walked me through everything to rule out that it was NOT the hot tub issue... turned out to be a faulty breaker in the spa box. We recently had friends over that own a newer Sun Ray... they have had three leaks so far and are truly disappointed. They wished the would have purchased a Beachcomber, stating it was way more comfortable. The customer appreciation days held by Beachcomber are an amazing way to welcome new owners. Thanks to the Beachcomber staff who made this purchase easy and relaxing. Cheers!!!

Not too happy with the staff. I paid in full in advance for a patio cover and was told I had to pay for it when I went it pick it up. Despite having the receipt and credit card recipes the staff member seemed skeptical and resistant. Then when I pointed out that it was paid for and marked on there paper work no apology. Also left a cover there to return/exchange, in my haste and distraction forgot to get the return on my credit card. When I called later I was told I could come and pick the cover up that did not fit. I explained that I was returning it and was told repeatedly that I could pick the cover up. Staff seems to have no clue!!!

We LOVE our beachcomber hot tub!!!! We have had our hot tub for 4 years now and use it as much today as we did the first week we had it. The customer service at the store through the sales team (we had top notch service from Kelly), the delivery team, the water care experts and any staff member we connected with was truly wonderful and the service did not end after the delivery was complete - which is awesome. We find our Beachcomber very easy to care for. At first when we were thinking about getting a hot tub I remember thinking it was going to be a lot of work. After we purchased our tub, Kelly came to our home and showed us how to use it and then I also went to one of the Beachcomber training (care) sessions, which was very fun and we learned a many tips that make it so simple to keep the tub sparkling clean. One of the best things we did with our tub was to install the clear tech UV bulb - it has really helped to keep our water sparkling clean and has also reduced the amount of chemicals we use - makes the care of the tub even easier. We can easily go away for a vacation and when we come back the water is crystal clear. We sold our house recently and the hot tub quickly sold with it. So one of the first things we did was to head over to Beachcomber and purchase a brand new hot tub. We love our Beachcomber and highly recommend it as the best hot tub hands down!! I do all my regular business at the south store, which is fantastic, but get all my service through this west end branch. They always get back to me right away, and many times have given me direction over the phone to troubleshoot problems myself or to even fix the item myself, which has saved me hundreds of dollars in service charges! Not many stores and service departments are that caring, honest, and helpful! When they do come, I never feel ripped off or overcharged, and they never leave a mess behind. Love them!

I have not been happy with Beachcomber. I first had all the little diverters come out of all the jets after only a few months, the tub has jets that point directly at intake valves that screws jets up since it blows air in the suction. AND the service is horrible from staff who don't care once you have spent a lot with them as stated in a long winded explanation below. Tub purchased in 2012.Our motor was making a whining noise and when I called to as for an estimate I was told it was probably the bearings. I was told it would be $125 for the call and probably around $20 for the parts to replace the bearings, so I agreed, ended up costing me as much as a new motor to rebuild it! The tech came and was very nice. He said it was the bearings but all of a sudden told me he probably couldn't fix it on site. He said he could try but wasn't sure, I said that was fine. Within 30 minutes of that he had the motor out, changed the bearings and it was back in and running. When i asked him what the cost would be he said a total of $375!!!! In my head I thought What!!!!, but decided it wasn't worth arguing with the tech as I assumed the quoted price would be what I would see since the job was exactly as I had been told and took less than 45 minutes. When the cost went through on my Visa it was $393!!! a new motor would have only been slightly more from that dealer and I could have easily installed it myself. I even had one in my shed from a previous hot tub that would have worked in the inter. I figured at the original $150 it was fine to have the newer motor back up and running. When I called to complain all I got was "that is what it costs to rebuild a motor" I had no idea it was a rebuild especially when it only took 30 minutes. The service manager was not even willing to discuss. When I then emailed the general manager and an executive from Beachcomber I the got a call from the manager. The manager first wanted to know how I even got the email for the executive and that I probably wouldn't even hear from him (I haven't) but nice support of your parent company. All the manager would say was how great the company(over and over) was and that for what was done that was the cost. I tried to explain that was fine but that wasn't what I was told would be done until it was done. He really didn't seem to understand my problem and even told me he never suggests rebuilds? So your techs are doing them anyway?????? When I then explained how they could justify almost $400 for 30 minutes work all he could say was that I got a good tech who did a "favor" for me doing it on site and that other techs would take much longer. What? So I should have been happier I didn't get an incompetent tech? He asked me what I wanted out of this, I offered to split the bill (which was still more than I was told) He said he couldn't see that happening. Great customer service after spending $12,000! So let me understand this, them still getting $200 out of me for something that probably cost them less than $100 and they could have even given me store credit that may have meant I would spend even more wasn't acceptable???? Do not buy from these people!!! Service will vanish after they take your money. In a city where all the hot tub dealers are pretty much 3 blocks from each other you would think they would work a little harder to keep a customer for referrals.

Been with the west side beachcomber for over 5 years. Knowledgeable staff, quick service, and ample supplies. Prices are a bit on the high side, but so are Mercedes-Benz--- you generally get what you pay for. My tub is over 16 years old and still hanging in over many cold winter usages.

We started our hot tub shopping at Beachcombers, looked all around Edmonton, and then landed right back at Beachcombers. The quality of the hot tubs was the #1 selling point. The fact that they are built in Canada and are built with very intelligent design really sold us. I am usually very uncomfortable with sales people, but our salesperson Glen was so knowledgeable that we couldn't have made the decision without his help. He has given us lots of his own time to teach us about the tub and water care. I would absolutely recommend to my nearest and dearest friends to go to Beachcombers. They will give you good information and great service.

He let us wander around the store for a few minutes and sit in a tub before he approached us to offer assistance. He introduced himself and from there answered all our questions. He offered us solutions to our concerns and was patient as we worked through what we really wanted in a hot tub. He left us alone to wander the store while we made our final decision and once we had decided on the perfect tub, he walked us through colours, coverings and delivery. What a sad excuse for a retail store. Been shopping for a hot tub for months and entered this store two times. Never to be helped by a single person on both occasions. Walked around and all the sales people are standing around doing nothing ignoring me or on their cellphones. Not to mention a dirty and dusty store. I don't know how this place competes with online companies and other hot tub sellers in the city.

Couldn't ask for better customer service or a company more willing to go above and beyond! We thought we did our research with other companies but now wish we would have just started at Beachcomber. After buying patio furniture elsewhere (and having the well known company go out of business within a month of our purchase), Warren and his staff have gone above and beyond for us! From assisting us with warranty issues, to looking for the "missing pieces" to complete our set. And hot tubs... We have been to EVERY hot tub retailer in Edmonton! Even had a deposit down elsewhere. But when it came to customer service, honesty, and reputation of the company, we went with Beachcomber! Finally after 16 years we actually had to have our first service professional come out and repair our hot tub! 16 years and not a problem! How Good is that? We had a hush pump changed and now it's like new. All you people who think you're getting a better deal elsewhere, you're not. We use our hot tub daily, 12 months a year, rain snow or sun. Michael provided excellent pre-sales advice over the last 2 years at the Costco booth and in-store. The in-store team was always helpful with complimentary water sampling and advice for my summer intex pool long before purchasing a hot tub. The hot tub arrived 30 minutes early and was installed gently and professionally along with the cover lift system. I've only heard good things about the Beachcomber hot tub quality and a solid warranty to back them up.

Got them to price match a Napoleon BBQ from BBQ Country. Beach comber staff were Quick to take my money for a deposit. Informed me delivery would be early spring 2019. And then couple days later tell me they cannot get the BBQ and offered me a refund. Was told by the staff the BBQ is discontinued and a new model was being made for 2019 and price would be going up and no discount/compensation would be given on newer model. Staff was friendly but complete waste of my time.

Just purchased a Hot Tub from Beachcomber. The sales staff are very helpful with any questions you have while purchasing and even after you have the Tub home. The delivery guys were really nice and know what they are doing. The only thing that was wrong was the delivery people forgot my step as it wasn't on the paper work, but the salesman said he would bring it out to me on his own time. If that was the only problem and really not that big of a deal.

Dexter at the Sh Pk is always a great help , he is #one . We got a great deal and also bought the Cavana top excellent top no problems second winter in Alberta Canada . We also now purchased the shades for the sides they work well no trouble as well, don't need to wear a toque so far this winter. Love everything about it. Then there is Waren he is an excellent resource on what is happening with your water quality in your tub and if any of them don't know they find out and get back to you pdq. I would recommend Beachcombers any time . I do hope that in the near future that they can open a permanent Sherwood Park location . Purchased a Beachcomber hot tub over 6 years ago and it has worked flawlessly ever since purchase. Weekly upkeep and maintenance is minor (helps if you don't use well water if you live in the country!) and its ready to use whenever we want to. Tub is really well insulated so, even in the dead of winter, heating costs are not excessive and the tub is at set temperature. Would highly recommend Beachcomber to anyone considering a hot tub purchase

They've ripped off past employees as they WERE also owners of a pharmaceutical chain known as Value Drug Mart Associates. The pharmacy end of of their ownership, left employees without pay that was owed to them!! VDMart has since been bought by another company, but they retained Beachcomber. Please do not support them.

Glen then came to our house and went through the start-up and maintenance of the tub, ensuring we were confident with the process (which was surprisingly easy!) and gladly answered any questions we had. Look no further don't bother wasting your time with any of the other dealers beachcombers is where you want to buy a hot tub I've been researching and looking at hot tubs for the last three years and every year that I walked into beachcombers is where I felt comfortable and blown away of the quality of their tubs I was always sold on their tubs every time these hot tubs are built to be in our cold climate and Snowy weather they were built to last in Canada Plus the other guys don't offer what beachcombers does for simplicity and years of service also every year one of the other dealers either have closed down or gone out of business but beachcombers of been around For ever I walked into the 118ave location ended up buying our hot tub of our dreams from Mike he's very knowledgable and doesn't pressure you and every question that I asked from him he always had the right answer or made sure he got it which made me feel confident . Delivery was The best I've ever seen for such a big item I don't even get my mail delivered as peoper I had one little glitch when we tried to start the hot tub for the first time the electrician that I was referred to by beachcombers was excellent troubleshot it as much as he could and within the half hour after leaving the service department came out and fix the problem The following day Mike came out and gave me a full tutorial up-and-down about the hot tub and how it works with the chemicals to use and Time was never an issue he would be there as long as I needed And as many times as I needed he also asked me if everything was OK and his manager wanted to make sure that I was happy after the little fix up. Well I don't want to sound like a broken record but I'm 100% satisfied with beachcombers and at this location thanks Mike for everything thanks to his manager looking forward to years and years enjoy my hot tub with the beachcomber service!!!!!

Right from the time we walked in the door, we felt welcomed and appreciated. The staff listened to our ideas and reasons for having a hot tub. Warren took his time to explain how the tubs are built for the Canadian climate. He showed us options and we were able to choose exactly what we wanted. He had suggestions for how to prepare our location so that we could take full advantage of all the tub had to offer. After ordering, communication was excellent. Any questions we asked by email were answered within a few hours, or less. When the tub arrived from the factory, we were provided with several schedule options for delivery. The delivery was smooth and the guys were patient with our requests for positioning of the tub. Unfortunately, we had some trouble priming the pump to get the hot tub started so we contacted service. Again the response was lightning fast and the service tech provided clear instructions for the situation. Then Sean, who was in the area, made a special trip to investigate. He discovered a mistake in the factory setting for the controls, corrected it and solved our problem. He offered advice and suggestions for sustaining the chemical balance in the water. He was punctual, polite, friendly and courteous. He invited us to call with ANY questions. This team is truly proud of the product they sell and the service they provide and go out of their way to ensure an excellent customer experience.

After enjoying our LEEP 360 for 1.5yrs this spring we noticed a hairline crack in one of the seats (this is not common at all). I called about a gazebo curtain. I was told one could be special oredered for me and was suggested to come to the store and view the one on the showroom floor gazebo . I agreed and drove all the way to the west end location from north St Albert. Got to the store ,walked around a bit and no one approached me to offer assistance. So after measuring the gazebo curtain and feeling it would fit on my current gazebo, I then walked to the guy on the cash register. He didnt seem to eager to assist me. I told him I was there for the curtain and he told me “I cant sell you one!” Another older gentleman was on the other cash register and said he was the person on the phone who I spoke with and said to the younger cash attendant that ordered them before. The young fella told him that you have to own that type of gazebo or they cant sell you one. I wasnt offered anything but a “sorry about that” from the older gentlemen but the younger one didnt seem to care much or even offer any assistance like “did you try this store” or let me get my manager and see if we can do anything!!! You would figure that since I was suggested to drive there that they would try at least to accomadate me. Im sure if an employee wanted the curtain they would find a way to get one! Poor service here folks, wasnt made to feel like a valued cutomer!!! Try another place!!!, wasted my time!!! James

Given the uncertainty of COVID-19, my wife and I decided to check out getting a hot tub. Beachcombers was by far the most professional store we visited, and they sold us on the quality of their hot tubs. Jeri was amazing, and helped us choose what we thought was the perfect tub, until we saw the 570 model with the bench seat that has the jets... we were sold. She worked hard to give us the best deal, and went out of her way to ensure we were happy. All throughout the process, she was easy to communicate with, kept us informed and was up front, so we felt confident we were getting the best deal possible. Beachcombers has an amazing sale right now, which allowed us to become a part of their family, but the service we received from Jeri has honestly made us so happy we chose Beachcombers west end.

Parts/service department seems lacking. The individual at the parts counter doesn't seem to know a heck of a lot about hot tubs. I did end up getting what I was looking for but it was a process and not worth the headache. I would recommend another location if you are looking for hot tub parts. Where do I begin. Glen and the team at Beachcomber have been amazing. Helpful, understanding, patient, accommodating, friendly, supportive, informative, and very kind. Glen knows his tubs like the back of his hand. He is informative and thorough. He was never once unwilling to show us ( for the third or more time) how the Jets work or answer the same question twice. Most of all they make buying a hot tub a positive experience. Ofcourse we've wanted a hottub for a long now " The Dream" right. 1 yr ago I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both hips @ 46 yrs now waiting for both to be replaced,the chronic pain is so bad, we heard how hydrotherapy could help with my pain so I did some online research and now needed to go window shopping, we walk into beachcombers and was greeted by Kelly immediately he asked a few question and we started looking, the first 5 we looked at I couldn't even step into it because of my hips, not once did we think about that being a issue but it was, Kelly Found us the perfect hottub to get in and out of even set up a safety handle to show how safe I can get in and out, made me try it all out,it was perfect . No idea what oder people have for a budget to spend, but this place is one of the most expensive places you can buy spas and accessories in Edmonton. The Beachcomber's online store is much cheaper. Needed replacing of a peeling control decal. Online price $21 - store price $26.70!! 1st and last time customer. They do NOT offer price matching even to their Beachcomber's online store. Marking even up the replacement jet pricing by 30% to give 10% discounts!? Seriously?

Our Experience with Beachcomer has been excellent. All the staff is helpful and friendly. We mostly deal with Kelly and he is wonderful. He always answers our questions doesn't rush and explains everything very well. Kelly makes our time there enjoyable and it is a nice feeling to go into the store knowing he is there to help.
