Here you have all the information of people like you who used the services of Tony & Kathy's No Frills (Fruit Store) in the area close to Windsor (Canada).
As of day the firm gets a rating of 4.1 stars over 5 and that score has been based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is quite high, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may think that the evaluation is very reliable. If people have bothered to leave their feddback when they are satisfied with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to write scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Fruit Store belongs to the category of Grocery store.
Very good prices on most items. You still need to watch prices on specialty items. They have the biggest bananas in town! Always quick to open up another cash when it's getting busy.
The last two times I bought produce here, it started going bad the next day. I will not be buying fruit there any more. Plus, the cashier messed up scanning my points card and I missed out on over 4,000 points.
Good location and prices. Always have the basics. Nice staff. Excellent COVID protocols.
Nice place ???? for shopping
I shop here pretty often. It's close to where I live for one. They do have some fair pricing on the food and the sales are typically good. The only real issue I would say they have is lack of cashiers at the most inopportune times. I find whenever I'm in the store they should have at least one more cashier open.
I saw this guy transferring baguettes from a box into the paper sleeve and scratching his neck. And by the ways, without a glove on. I say Disgusting!!!! U decide. Due to the corona virus the store made a lot of changes. So far, much better than before. I feel safer shopping these days. Thanks for the change. Bravo!!
Although the store is somewhat smaller than others, the prices are excellent and everything I went for was in stock. Even on a holiday!
Always friendly ready to help. Clean and always stocking shelves so have to deture around employees and there stock but more then happy to do that to have food on shelves
Groceries there are cheaper than Walmart & Zhres...we love it. ????
Bring cash, debit, or mastercard (VISA not accepted), as well as a loonie for the cart deposit. Be prepared to bag/box your own groceries as well. Once you've covered those bases you're all set. Lots of bargains and in-store specials (usually frequently announced on their FB page). For basics and staple items they are awesome. Staff generally try to be helpful. As they are owned by Loblaws you'll often find some great deals on selected P.C. branded items for much less than you'd pay at Zehrs or RCSS. The recent upgrade to No Frills, formerly The Box, was a huge improvement. Lots more selection. Sometimes the killer deals are a no go.... the bunkers are cleaned out quickly by early birds.
In a pinch I'll stop here, but the selection of goods offered is very paltry... The layout is haphazard and cramped.... The staff is friendly tending to disinterested. I feel sorry for neighbourhood people without transportation who must rely on this location as their primary grocery store.
Very helpful staff and well maintained aisle , they have everything you need . Prices are very reasonable .
You find a lot cheap items ...better place to shop then
Mehh nothing overly special. Some decent deals but the veggies were toast in 3 days
Gòoď price for sòme items but need practice walking 10 km round trip from home up this place
Great value in a compact store. I start here to get the basics, then move on to other places for specialty items. Carts are $1.
Have always wanted try it. Good clean store from what I saw. Busy at 1030am Friday morning. Found my stuff quickly easily great pricing on items I regularly purchase.
I can do 99% of my grocery shopping here, for half the price of the other stores in town. I'm normally in and out in under 15min. The staff is incredible and super friendly as well. Plus, they price match which is an added bonus.... Although normally they are the cheapest anyways. Exact same products and quality as Superstore and Zehrs, for half the price. Can't go wrong.
Not only ate the prices good the staff is friendly. The only thing i dont like is their meat section , its small and not much variety. And they wont call a cab for you, not everyone has a cell phone
No stars today waited 45 min in line to check out 2 tills open disgusting instead of paying minimum wage give them what they're worth.....happy worker is a productive worker....Unifor!
Great prices, was able to spend around 10 bucks for a week worth of groceries.
Great location and great staff.
Clean store, fresh veggies and fruits.
Decent grocery store. Staff are pleasant. Prices are fair and sales are very good
The line up to pay for groceries is ridiculous. Both times I left without my groceries
The brand says it all - and truthfully (unlike some other chains): basic and inexpensive! Good enough produce, decent selection all around, and the lowest prices on almost everything. (Beware specialty item pricing, like baking supplies) Clean enough, parking lot patchy, but all in line with local expectations. Self-bagging took getting used to, but now I prefer it. And much stronger bags (at 5 cents apiece) than other stores, but even better if you bring your own bags!
Great staff! Excellent prices! Very busy on Thursdays - Saturday between 12pm and 4pm. Would recommend doing your quick pick ups for dinner during these times and not your list for the week.
Great store! Alll the PC products you love in a much smaller store so the shopping experience is quicker and easier! Also cheaper!
Very friendly and helpful staff!!!
Always friendly, fresh food, and good prices. When they have their sales, it well worth the trip too.
This store is always clean, well stocked and I receive polite and friendly service ....and now I even get points to shop here!
1$ for the cart is good for the business to ensure the carts go back. Produce was kinda picked over and old. Meat was good.
I've been going to this store ever since they opened. Good selection and prices. Can get PC brand products here and I've become friends with some of the staff.
Not too busy usually pretty good produce but no bakery
Nice selection and fair prices. The store is a bit small and therefore cramped but I still like shopping here!
Like the way going to check-out is set up now. I hope this is continued after the health issues. Much better set-up. Makes for better service. The staff is helpful and friendly. Enjoy shopping there.
Nice place to shop friendly staff
Wait times are not that long the staff is very friendly and try to kno there regular customers
This store has a large variety of products and low prices,if you want to stretch your budget, this is the place they have it all,a pharmacy counter would make it one stop shopping. The produce is among the freshest in the area. Picked up ground brisket patties at a reasonable price on a Sunday morning at 9am,they were excellent and enjoyed by all. However I had to continue on to Shoppers to pickup Coke and Canada Dry 6@1.99 (710)ml bottles. Oh well got to hut out savings when their on offer. All in all this is an extremely well managed store, thank you Tony and Cathy!
I've always had great experiences at this store. What makes the difference are the front-end stuff: they make shopping appear seamless
This store is way to small. And you have a major sale and dont have enough cashiers to keep up with the lines that spill out to the aisles where people are shopping . Poor setup and customer service..
Tony & Kathy's No Frills is one of Windsor Ontario's best grocery stores. A perfect location in Central East Riverside area.
Clean, well stocked and very friendly. Thanks.
Good sales, but variety is limited. They only accept MasterCard and never have more than two cashiers at a time...
The girls are always very friendly here. I shop here often and have never had a bad experience. The lady at the door always goes out of her way to grab your cart when you are done with it.
Nice basic grocery store. But beware that they only accept Master Card, which they should clearly sign at the front door in bold lettering.
a review on you...the customer. (i don't work there fyi, just an irritated shopper) but first... great prices and close to home but i agree that selection is very limited and i too have noticed that you really need to check exp dates. i find that their bread molds super fast even though it's still well before the best before date, never have that problem from anywhere else, even a convenience store. makes me wonder how items are handled before they get to the store. also they need to open more cashes if only for a few minutes at a time. i go there all the time and it seems everyone checks out in waves and when that happens all 4 checkouts should operate. my biggest complaint however is YOU, THE SHOPPER, stop leaving refrigerated/frozen items on shelves etc. jeez people, that is pathetic, lazy and sad. not that i expect anything else from modern society. i know, i know, it's just too much trouble to put that frozen item back in that weak little instant gratification iphone world your lame head is stuck in. you know who you are and we are keeping an eye out for you. every time i go in there i see some jerk has left a pack of chicken or something stuffed on a shelf behind pop or paper towels etc. and the theft!!!...torn open packages all the time. the idiot scumbags that do these things are ruining the store. it drives up prices and limits the items they bring in. i know respect doesn't exist anymore even though everyone demands it they'll be damned to give a little first. try it. show some respect for this business and your fellow shoppers. pick up an item off the floor/shelf and put it back or turn it in if it is ruined/ gone warm, (of course this invites jackasses to put ruined items back in a freezer so another shopper gets sick..... ah, society) but this is our neighborhood store and it's been a looong time since mr grocer was there. you'll miss it dearly if it closes. metro is the next closest store for many of us around here and while i do go there for stuff that box doesn't carry and much better meat, i and the rest of you need this store more than we realize. metro's prices are usually outrageous. it would suck if box were to close down due to piggish people tearing it apart and stealing. smarten up.....oh, and if it's not too much trouble can some of you maybe bathe and wipe properly before you come food shopping in a close quartered store, wow!
Some deals Better in the GTA
One of the Nice store in Windsor... But they don't accept credit cards and accept flayers of some specific outlets only.... Things are good and cheaper also...
This is worst market I ever see. We went there 6 times to buy the meat on sale but it always none left when we went there. The staffs are supper rude. They scream and yell at me very loud when I gave to them credit card to pay for grocery. They said that: “we don’t accept credit card here”, and I gave to them my visa debit, and they screamed very loud: “this is not visa debit”. (????). It clearly have the name visa debit on my card. And they said that: it is not visa debit, it is so funny and horrible market. I have to pay by cash and never come back again. I wish I can give -5 Star for this place. It waste my time to go there. I Never come back again. They treated to customer like begger. So horrible market.
Great employees, just a bit harder to find certain things
Very good prices on selected items no record breaking prices
It's a nice little grocery store with lots to choose from. There's produce, dairy, cereal, soup, vegetables, meat, eggs and other various items. It's a clean well lit store with friendly staff.
I love shopping at Tony and Cathy's No Frills, it isn't a large store but they usually have everything I need. I do wish they would stock Oikos Honey yogurt though.
Not too busy and clean, staff are nice like reeally nice. However prices keep rising with them for some reason. not that many staff around the store you will fing majority at the cashiers so it is hard to ask a question if you are lost and looking for something. Would have given 5 stars if they would have kept prices from increasing for basic family needs such as Pasta, veggies. I recommend with an Ahmed rating of 8.5
Great parking , usually adequate tills/counters to cash out on time, not too large to navigation and it's on a corner lot!
Very good deals, not too busy, easy enough to find everything, lots of things under $5!
Very good prices and friendly service thanks
Most of the items on their weekly flyer are not available. No one knows why?? Kind staff but clueless. They price match. Its clear that no frills corporate is not realy engaged with this branch.
Great prices, fairly short lines, and short walk from the parking lot. Not much brand variety but that's quite nice as it makes decisions easy and fast.
Crazy busy with long lines but that just means it's a popular store for many. Good prices, reasonably well kept. Friendly staff.
Pretty small location, but had a good selection of groceries and decent prices nonetheless.
Good prices. Fruit could have been fresher. Don't forget your loonie for the cart! ????
Go on Thursdays as soon as sales start as it sells out quick and crazy busy on weekends!!!
Nice store at a decent location. Good prices and everything you need is there.
Great place to shop always have great deals and store kept very clean .staff are polite and very helpful will help you locate your items if you have trouble just ask
Normally I love this store but I had a terrible experience there today. I was in line behind someone price checking most of their list. When the customer didn't have the right product, the cashier went on her own cell phone and started helping the customer price check. I had to stand there at least 15 minutes. With no end in sight.
Great place for a deal, but there are better places to shop. More selection etc, but you'll pay more for those extras.
Great grocery store. It opened previously and was experiencing some problems, but now that they've opened again afterwards they've really changed well. Excellent quality produce and meat, good deals on other things.
It always has done kinds of meat like it MIGHT be ribs one time or prime room a DIFFERENT time but it always has a DIFFERENT kind of meat on 4 a great price .I love it .
Excellently located and stocked Supplies much needed groceries and household suppliez to the residents in the vicinity. Although not as large as other retail chains, it carries the necessities at sometimes better than other chains in pricing. Not only that, it's affiliated with Loblaws/Zehrs who allow us to collect points for free groceries. And they also price check the leading local chains to get the best possible price in the city. A great place to sbop!!
Fantastic prices gr8 friendly helpful staff
I found some really good bargains here.I live on the westside of Windsor and I wish there was a No-Frills closer to me.Thank you!!
This is a smaller store. Inside is quite dark and gloomy. No windows! Some deals to be had here but due to the size of the store they prob struggle to maintain inventory. They do run out of sale items from time to time. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff , they price match and you can collect PC Optimum points! Which we did have loonies to use the shopping carts.
They have great prices especially the ones that you will find in their weekly flyer. I haven't yet had any bad experiences with their produce.
Good place for shopping groceries, vegetables and fruits. A great choice of materials with reasonable pricing and good support staff.
Needs more cashiers for busy times, after work, store was clean, shelves were filled.
Due to COVID restrictions there is a line up outside (it moves quickly though). The longer line is inside unfortunately moves a little slower.
Clean and orderly store. A mid to small sized grocery store with a good selection of products. Regular sales found via their flyer.
My go to grocery place, it has all the basic day-to-day groceries. There is enough parking always and most of the counters are always open for check-out which avoids long waits.
So much better now than it was when it was The Box. However, they definitely need more staff at the checkout. The place could be full of people and were lucky if they have two cashiers, it’s ridiculous. Sometimes the cashiers are really unprofessional too, they sit around talking together while they should be waiting on customers. The produce section could also use some help, get rid of old stock. The selection is much better than it was before. I do wish it was open later like Walmart and Metro.
Nice and clean organize store. Would recommend use their Facebook Tony & Cathy’s No Frills. Their Facebook always tell special deals. Price are affordable for low incomes.
Can't find certain things here on my grocery list that I have to make a second trip somewhere else for. Other then that prices are good though
Recently bought a few beefsteak tomatoes & other groceries @ my local No Frills. When I got home I put the tomatoes on the counter. However, when I removed the produce stickers, it revealed 2 rotten/black spots underneath! Oh, how clever you are No Frills!
Clean, well stocked, never had a rude cashier yet or employee. They follow covid procedures well and has good pricing with the the sales!
Good grocery store .
Surprises price. And good quality. I found $1 pineapple, $0.88 chicken meat here.
Overall it was a good experience considering its a pandemic. The only issue i have is having to use change to get a shopping cart. I want to touch asless change as possible.
Very fast check outs and very budget friendly.
Greeted at the door with a smile and friendly greeting by Jera, 1st impressions set the stage for a great shopping experience!
Love this grocery store best prices they are unbeatable
Today was my first time at this No Frills and I can definitely say I will be going back to my grocery shopping. The prices are reasonable and the staff/cashier were super friendly. I also liked the deals they had; furthermore, I was able to spend and leave the store with two bags full for only $16.02.
I keep updating my card but I am not getting any points when I visit the store. It just happened today. I updated it right before I went purchased some of the items and did not get any points.
Not fond of the layout, and feels small. But staff is great.
You'll find some pretty darn good prices here. Specials are available almost all the time. It's run well, clean and organized. The younger staff members are really nice, they'll greet you on your way in (if they're there) and thank you on your way out. I've only had issues with older staff members, I'm really self aware so it's never been because of my own manners.
Always good food for cheap its a great place to stock up on food buy in bulk like balk barn and even though it's called no frills u can have some thrills and it's relaxing most going threw could be as easy a toast not to boast but I like it the most Buy a supply of healthy snacks then relax when other come past offer old friends a word of advice and help them u can give a snack to someone who's in need and u can give a drink to help some think if someone u see is going without try to help them out
This place is great. Since it changed from The Box it has added a lot more variety in its products. Excellent prices, and good produce. You can tell it has improved by the fact that it is a lot busier now. Having said that I should mention that to compensate they have also added more cashiers so there are not long lines at the registers.
Has a vast majority of what is needed for most recipes. Not bad for the smallest grocery shop ever. Lol. Only thing that would be better is if they had a fresh deli. Shopping carts arent free so it kind of helps with over spending since most of us dont carry quarters for carts. Pc plus card works here for points and they price match. Parking lot is huge. Produce is fresh and bread is soft. Just needs a deli and it would be perfect.
I love going here, everyone is super friendly. My kids love saying hi to the ladies at the cash register. Love joking with them.
Went here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised by the variety and freshness. Too bad the cashier never greeted me (I said hello), or said please or thank you or smiled. She handed me my receipt with her back to me. (Young woman with hijab). The other cashiers seem very friendly. I was a grocery cashier then a teller for many years. Service is everything.
Decent discount supermarket. Part of the Loblaws chain so you can find most of the stuff you would find at a Zehers. There's just not as many options and a high amount of President's Choice products. They seem to be about loss leaders. The sales are great but many items regular price is higher than the bigger non-discount stores. Don't assume that because it's at No Frills it's cheap. I would rate them higher I'd I didn't have to use a looney to get a cart.
I went in to purchase Garden Cocktail because it was on sale for $1.00 a bottle. They didn't have any so the manager a young man told me that they were offering the large bottle for $2.00 to compensate for the lack of not having the smaller bottles. They only had 2 bottles of the large on the shelf so he said he had some in back, I wanted 5bottles and he came back with 2 low sodium which I didn't want. I just took the 2 original bottles and we cashed out, now remember there was a sign saying that the large Garden Cocktail is $2.00. I assumed the cashiers know their job and when I get home I have been charged $2.97. I am on a pension and every .97 count. The manager said they would have the small bottles on Wednesday so I will go back on Wednesday, use more gas, and we'll see.. UPDATE.... Flyer comes around so I go shopping about 5pm and what is in the flyer is gone. I asked one of the employees to please check if there are any more in the "back" and I'm told no there isn't we didn't even get that yet so come back Monday. Well my time is important and if I have to keep going back to the store then does that not defeat the whole concept of DISCOUNT STORE because in my eyes it does now that I've used extra gas and time to maybe or maybe not get what I came for. And don't even suggest calling!!!!!!!! tried that and got someone in Toronto, Humm!
This is a fine grocery store. Pretty much your average Nofrills.
I was asked by more then 2 people if I found everything. Clean. Stocked up.
Great variety in a small store but....watch your prices. Ther ARE deals but not everything is necessarily cheaper here. Produce is fresh due to high turnover and staff are excellent.
It was my first time here. I expected half picked and not too good of produce. Boy was I wrong! A great variety of food from smoked salmon slices to fresh spinach free range eggs, avocado etc. I was very impressed by the quality and diversity of foods. Will definitely be making no frills my central grocery stop.
The cashier Lauren #2 is extremely rude, and arrogant. The lady, with the long brown hair that works the 1-13 cash, and stocks shelves on Sundays is also rude, arrogant. Evil in thier eyes. Watched them mock a coworker right in front of her. I felt so uncomfortable for the victim. No frills won't get my money. I go elsewhere.
This store has the most affordable prices out of any grocery store in Windsor. The employees are always super friendly and helpful, and they do a great job at keeping the store clean and stocked. Just make sure you remember to bring a loonie to get a shopping cart!
It's a great place to shop I like going there at least once or twice a week
I shop here for the last 4 years I'm changing my review today the cashier's are nice but today went I was paying one of them imply I was lying because she thought I change the 50% off to a 4 dollars salad bag in a 200 dollars shopping bill so she call the manager to ask about the salad bag whit out checking he said this ones don't have discount so laugh and rude even the cashier feel bad so I went back and show him I was right and he say sorry also rude but the point is it's amazing he was so rude so bad in customer service how he can be the face off the store (that pictures are old )
This store mostly has everything needed. All workers are friendly.
Love this place for grocery shopping, great items at an affordable price and most of them are on sale.
Love how affordable the groceries are here. You can also use your optimum card here which is convenient
Simply the best and affordable prices
Clean, well maintained store. Best if all, the staff are so amazing! Efficient, always helping when needed; wonderful, welcoming ❤ ????
Great employees & great sales. Super clean and I feel safe shopping at this store.
I enjoy coming to this store because of the great deals. However the customer service experience I had when cashing out left me very disappointed. After I paid and was trying to pack everything into bags as quickly as I can the cashier turn around and continued to talk to her coworker. I understand that they are not obligated to help however the need to provide expectinal customer service and go above and beyond is a thing of the past.
Few times when I buy hot dog or other buns they are stale not fresh. Buggies 1. Most places .25 alot of times dont have loonie so make sure you go prepared
Nice store but they need a better checkout system. Better likecwhat Freshco has. These one long line stores, not appealing.
Followed the rules in regard to covid (# of people in the store and sanitizing carts). Had everything in stock that was advertised in the flyer and that I wanted.
Didn't know there was no frills in Windsor. Staff was super helpful.
This is an awesome little grocery store with friendly employees and management who is always up for trying getting in the odd item you might need.
Not enough cashiers when lines are long...and never enough time to bag your own groceries without crowding the person before you
Honestly just so disappointed in this store. Went in to purchase some deals I seen in the flyer and when I got there I couldn't find anything in stock that way on sale in the flyer. When I asked a staff member about it the only response I got was well we will have it back in stock eventuality in a very rude tone. At that point I realized this place was a joke and walked out. Wasted time coming here when I could have just went to Walmart or something and save myself the hassle.
Clean, friendly staff, good prices. Small store so they don't have everything you might need.
If you like cheap and processed food it's the place to go. No butcher, but except for Metro, that is the norm. I only go here for last minute and quick purchases. Otherwise I use smaller markets like Fred's, LaStella on Erie St or the market on Ottawa and Walker.
2 of the female cashiers constantly talking about I can't wait to Finnish my shift and get the f@ck outta here while I was cashing out really shows how much these people enjoy their job and appreciate the fact they're employed and have a income. Even when you don't like you job you shouldn't present yourself in front of paying customers with such poor attitudes. I don't know the owners and how they treat their staff but their attitudes reflect poorly upon the business and the owners.
As far as grocery stores go this is simple small and convenient. Competitive prices and a decent selection for a small store. Not crowded or busy. Best part is PC optimum points work here! Don't expect largest produce or fresh meat selection
Great prices, wonderful selection of products and nice employees. This would be my grocery store of choice if it wasn't too far from my home.
Cashier was super nice and also helped bag my groceries, she has cute too, cashiers always checkin me out lol
Right close to my house for curly owned good selection cheap and they carry microwave dinners the breakfast one is the best and pulled pork with sweet potato fries
cheap but small and annoying place to shop. Plus there always out of everything in the flyers
Not bad at all. Not alot of big deals but a variety of options otherwise not available at other stores
Your average low cost grocer. Buyer beware on the meat. We got steaks here and had them tonight and without exaggeration I think they were probably the worst steaks I've ever eaten. Couldn't hardly be cut or chewed. It's a shame to spend your hard earned money on some meat and have to throw it out.
I don't believe I have ever found one of their sales flyer items actually in stock, even in the first 3 hours of the sale. They publish loss leaders to bring people into the store, but do not stock the items...ever! Their selection is the poorest of any No Frills in any of the 9 Canadian cities i have lived in. One young staff member is nice, the others are extremely rude. Nearly always only one register staffed, even with a lineup of more than a dozen people. And they will not accept credit cards apart from the President's Choice one, thereby forcing customers to get a credit card they do not want or pay cash. I never go there, regardless of how good a sale is, since i know they will not have the sale items in any case.
Great employees and fast service ! Will go back again !!
Always a good quantity of what I need, e.g. the Large bag of Purina Adult Dog Food. I depend on the kindness of friends to give me a ride & to help with the heavy items.
This No Frills is small, but have a full range of items. Great sales on your basic every day food . The staff is helpful and friendly. Good way to support our local community businesses. Great shopping!!!!
They have good prices on onions 10lb bag for $1.97 and carrots also $1.97
went to the stor on monday ran out of a few things was very impressed, there was a lady at the door cleaning the carts brought back and before you used them 10 at a time in the store no body coffing on you really took care of there customer i comend you my thanks i was scared to go but i felt relaxed at your store
Staff not as friendly as they should be. Tight aisles and limited product availability
There's one cashier that's always friendly and foods cheap to buy
Decent sale prices, friendly staff and good selection.
Was in today aug 15th. Went to grab some bread and foundnit to be expired. Walked over to a young man in produce asked if there was any bread of this type not expired he said i dont know its not my job . Found out it never seems to be anyones job to do anything there. Found another employee who brought over someone else they looked confirmed it was expired what did they do..... organize it and leave it out on the shelf in front of me. Thats gross ive had a few issue the last three times ive been i wont be back rude staff expired product no stock of sale items and limits on items that .ake no sense. Not very helpful and always an excuse worst place ever cheap items but even cheaper service
Great prices, a little slow at checkout but I'm not in a rush.
BEST DEALS EVERY WEEK! Students, single parents, and others on social assistants! GO HERE!
I Love No Frills! Excellent prices that just can't be beat! Plus they price match so you can save even more! Excellent experience every time I shop in the store!
Good selection. Items don't seem to be outrageously expensive. Can get very busy at times.
The cashiers are super friendly and have great sense of humors. Store is nice and clean.
I drive out of my way to come for the sales. I cant get the rest of my grocery shopping done and still have to go else where because they have a terrible selection. At least half of my grocery list I couldn't get because they either dont carry it, they are all out, or the product is extremely close to the expiry date. This is not a one time thing, this is often. I've tried to get fresh meat for dinner the same night and I wouldn't even buy it for a meal the same day. Doesn't look good or like it is supposed to. I decided to start coming here because I can use the new PC optimum card and get points and they advertise that they price match, but when you go to show them what you want price matched I get the excuse that they either dont match that store or that it's not the exact same item (because they dont have any variety at the store). I'll only be coming back for specific items that they have on sale, assuming that another store wont price match it. I also dont like that it is a dollar for the cart and there are no places to return it outside. You have to go all the way into the store to return the cart.
No stock nothing ever in stock thats in the flyer. Told me they have a limit on a sale item but saw a guy with a cart with 30+ boxes of the janes chiken that was on sale. Rude staff wont be back worst
Fine store for what it is. Yes, they don't have everything, but when I need something quick they're my go-to market. They sell what sells. Meaning if something isn't moving off they shelf, they try something different. They have great manager's specials, and if you're a senior, you get a 10% discount on Tuesday's. Not many stores do that! Someone mentioned that they carry expired items. Always check dates. I know if I don't check my dates when I shop at Metro down the street, I invariable have to take the item back. The staff at Box are fine too. All in all, I'm just happy that somebody took over that old bingo hall and made it a viable business that we all can use.
Good price but awful customer service attitude. Especially rasisim cashier. Not just give you trouble. opening talk to you extremely rude and disrespectful. Also during the conversation actually the cashier basically admitted they are watching on different color people's step while you shopping there as their customer. Definitely not recommend anyone visits this store. Report to their company even has no any respond. I'm considering not to go back this brand supermarket at all. also our family and all our friends. And I'm planning on post the whole story on social media helps more people to know how much respect you will get as a none white person from nofrill supermarket. Even though there is good workers are really nice. This is called "a rat stool always ruins whole pot good soup”. If u wanna hire cheap worker. At least train them well. But from how no frills head office as no respond way to handle rasisim situation. I doubt this is not a ideal from the top position of the company.
Everyone was great !! The cashier that I went through was very nice very helpful and I will be back at the store many times and have a great weekend
Didn't have almosy any of the basic necessities we came into the store for. The store was also dimly lit and seemed understaffed.
Love this store. Come often even though it is at opposite end of city.
My go to neighborhood grocery store. Prices are fantastic and it's always clean and well stocked. The employees are always, friendly, polite and helpful.
Line ups for cash is not worth the wait
Small store relative to other big stores but neat and clean. Compact which makes it easier to get in and out fast. Great sales. Would go again.
I really enjoyed going here the prices can't be beat and the staff was helpful and nice.
Only one thing that got me was i got a liberte yogurt with exp: 11 /15 /21 yesterday was the 26th when it was bought i dont live that close to the store so the only draw back
Good deals, nice produce but the cashier did not follow physical distancing protocols. She ran someone through after me as soon as I paid and did not give me time to pack up my groceries. The guy stood beside me at the end of the till packing his groceries as we bumped into each other. He did not look pleased with the situation either.
Veg and fruit were fresh, but there was not a good enough variety of groceries. They seemed to have few choices in terms of products. It could be better given the fact that it's the only supermarket in that vicinity. I'd rather drive the extra mile and have better choices.
Very quick, efficient, and well stocked. Prices and quality are very good.
My family and I love coming here. It's definitely our go-to grocery store! The staff has always been super friendly! And they have everything...from frozen food, to cleaning supplies, to everyday items. I only wish they have more than 2 cash registers open at once...given we always have to wait 10 mins to get cahsed out.
Awesome Place Awesome Location Awesome training of there new employees and their automatic door is always working;)
There’s a lineup around half of the store for the checkouts. Whether you have a cart full or one item you stand in the same line. No thanks
I over all love this store and the staff is usually kind. I had a rude cashier the other day but I thi k she was just annoyed I have 15 items in the 1 to 12 item line. But honestly I had 12... I just grabbed a few things as I waited in line. But when she saw my bag ripped and I was having a hard time... she didnt offer me a new one.. the customers I was holding up were kinder. But usually everyone is nice, and answers questions. I shop there alot. They have good prices as well. And its clean.
I like shopping here. My only issue is the ground beef here. Now for the third time I bought ground beef on a Saturday and today Sunday it's off
I love your store...produce is always fresh, good assortment of speciality meats and cheeses, great everyday specials , and what I appreciate the most is that there are always plenty of cashiers so wait time is minimal.
The best Loblaws grocery store in regards to pricing, always a deal to grab.
For a nofrill it is clean inside fresh produce is excellent quality only neg is they need more cashers open always have to wait in line long enough..
Very crowded. No distancing. Not very clean
Very handy store. Not overly big, but has everything you need. Staff is polite and helpful. A great grocery store to have in the neighborhood.
Very busy store but cashiers are fast and efficient..
Great place. Lots of parking, clean inside. Good quality pricing, friendly staff, low prices. I just wish the carts weren't the locking type as I so seldom carry change.
A great store for noname brand products. Tony and Cathy's No Frills is a perfect choice for grocery shopping offering everyday needs at a very affordable price. As well they offer price match towards their products (some retailers excluded Giant Tiger Canadian Tire and Shoppers Drugmart)
Staff is really nice and try really hard to help you.Store has way to many people in there no distance in effect..people every where, grabbing thing..one lady kept banging into me..she was trying to stock up on water..it was crazy
I like no frills because their prices are cheep pc brand based peoeucts but carry some name brand products but just because they are "no name" brands diesnt mean they dont have great teast. Plus i love the 1 or 2$ sales
I only had a few items...had to wait to cash out the express lane was closed...very inconvenient!!
This place is horrible product never in stock and I'm here 9 am on Thursday the stuff in the flyers are never marked and the cashiers are slower than slow and the store is half the size of a normal one owners are careless
Always has sale items in stock and very pleasant employees
This store is clean with friendly staff doing their best to help. Some stock is a little limited but prices are good and they price match anything you might find for a better price elsewhere.
Hands down, the most well run grocery store in the city. Staff pays close attention to safety, wellness, capacity, cleanliness and knowledge of their stock and its location. And help is never refused or hard to get. Prices and sales are amazing. Congratulations and thanks.
Don't think I will go back there. Went to get 3 things from the flyer and they were out of all 3. If you're going to have a sale, make sure you have plenty of the items in stock!
Even with the pandemic and the line up all the way down the frozen isle and around the corner to the cheese section , they still got us through very quickly . Their staff are very efficient and friendly
Small but has everything you could ask for! And they actually STOCK their flyer sales!
They have a good sale on some things but they dont have a lot of selections when it comes to juices and frozen dinners
I was there on Sat 11 2021, with my little niece, she got hit in the mouth with the turnstile, 4 of the staff went above and beyond to help us. Thank you so much dor your kindness!
Tony and Cathy's No Frills is a store that does not quit. The produce selection has been lively since they opened the store and specials are always well stocked. I fully endorse this estbablishment as a gem of Ward 5.
Well done Tony and Kathy...very good staff..loving and respectfully this staff is...a permanent customer you have.
Bright! Well stocked.. Good staff.. However a couple of items that I purchased were not good.. We will see how it goes when I go to return.
Very good
Why is it when there are 2 people in line with full carts and 4 people behind then with 1or 2 items.cashiers don't open. There were over 10 people working in store with 2 people besides cashier bagging groceries for the 2 full carts and yet no one would open another line. They didn't want to open another cashier because then the closing keyholder would have to count another cash at close. There was still 45 minutes before close. Lazy
Great. Clean. They sanitized every cart after EACH use.
Our experience was terrible. The man in the dairy section was pleasant but the two cashier's we spoke with were very rude. The one we used for checking out would not scan the two cases of soda but made my pregnant wife place them on the conveyor belt. I'm handicapped and could only watch her struggle with them. We should have just left the store but needed the groceries. We had gone there mainly to buy the cashews that we in the flyer but they were sold out and would not issue a raincheck. What a waste of time driving there from Tecumseh. I will never shop there again! What an unfriendly place it is. To update this review, I was contacted by a manager a few days after my review was posted and after I submitted a complaint on their website. I was given an apology and told that someone would speak to the employees. I don't know how they're expecting to figure out which ones treated us badly, so it won't change their attitudes. That's all they said, so it wasn't worth it to complain. I won't shop there again and will steer others to better stores.
Limited handicap parking near doors. Large parking lot. Clean store well maintained. Limited specials weekly. Fresh vegetables, fruit, and very reasonable prices on all items in store. Good prices on baby diapers, wipes etc. Worth a trip.
Some flyer stuff was out of stock. But ok priced for most things.
The signs all over the store and on the website say their prices won't be beat.... which is a lie.... just tried to price match and showed them the add from shoppers drug Mart... would not honour it. No where is there anything saying select stores. But the cashier told me they don't honour shoppers price match. Had I known this before wasting my time in there... I would have just gone to shoppers which was closer to my house. ????????????
This grocery store is great. The prices are good. They carry almost everything a regular grocery store carry. I like the store, it's not to big & has good deals.
Amazing prices - medium size store. Good news - due to Covid-19 this store now accepts Visa cards. Underrated store in my opinion
Great prices, friendly helpful staff always a pleasure to shop there thank you for being such a delightful store
Love Katy and Tony's NO FRILLS. Im in the store once a week, not only they have good prices on items, I also live the price match. Specially now with people relying only on CERB/UI benefits. My work place is still not open. So every penny is valuable right now.
They had some good deals which is why I went there today. The line inside was extremely long. And when I left the line outside to get into the building was almost wrapped around the building. I went on June 30th which is the day before Canada Day so maybe that had something to do with it.
Usually very clean and organized. Only seen empty shelves once or twice. Can use my optimum card here and get points. I like that it doesn’t break the bank and it’s convenient for me. People on the floor have been friendly when enquiring about something’s location. Sometimes cashiers are a bit rude, but I get it. Covid times suck.
Worst store ever been in never too return but the check out girl was very nice
Smaller No Frills store. Usually not too busy. Friendly helpful staff. Has a fairly good selection. Most weeks they have good advertised deals. Sometimes they have instore deals as well. Overall a good place to shop. Very convenient to my home location in the Walkerville area. The next closest one is in Essex, which was convenient when I worked in Essex.
I love this store. Clean efficient and very customer friendly
I like the store it was clean and tidy. The.produce was fresh looking and smelling lol. They had some great prices!! I will be back
I went in to do my weekly show which is usually over 200 and did not have change. Ask cashier for cash back. She said she couldnt. Then asked if there was a way to have a cart unlocked was told no. Then preceded to say so ill have to somewhere else to do my shopping and she said...ok. This was on saturday july 30th at 1150am. Terrible to loose a regular customer that spends alot over 1 dollar.
Love the new selection! Staff is always friendly!Great place to shop! Right out my front door!
I like the store but some clerks make often mistake to customer disadvantage . After so many mistakes I am not sure, that I would continue shopping at this store. Lately they got better.
Clean, low prices but cashier had a very careless demeanour. For that type of service I won't drive the extra mile for savings. Customer integrity is number one for me. If I don't feel important sadly, it's not worth my dime to shop there.
Incredible store. Staff are very helpful. Love the savings. Just wish we had more stores in Windsor. They help Seniors in saving money, and, especially those on the lower income end of the scale. Thanks for giving us THE BOX, but, please, please, please, give us more NO FRILLS. Thanks a million from a very grateful Senior who has cut she and her husband's shopping bill in half.
thanks that Windsor has only has one NO FRILLS. we could use either a superstore No FRILLS or have a few more scattered through out the city. stock seams always be empty. on most specials that they offer. and I've noticed small stores or convenience places shop there and not at wholesale places. that's one reason why no stock left I've seen NO NAME WATER. sold at convenience stores. please keep Comercial buying to. the proper whole sale places
I think their store is awesome. Staff are always helpful. Live shopping there!
Good neighborhood grocery store! Always good deals and clean! Just wish more cashiers were working. Never enough on busy day’s.
Great prices. Fast moving checkout.
Is a nice place to shop, the prices are very good ????
Good prices and value for your dollar. Aisles are nice and wide as well. Not a super clean store but has made improvements. Carts require $1, a loonie to unlock and is returned once you return the cart. Sunday afternoon shopping was busy and sale items were out of stock.
Very friendly staff. Clean store, good variety and value. I see the owner/ managers working alongside their staff. Makes me feel they value their business, and are not above sweat equity. ????????????
Great place for a quick shop. I get my non parishables here. Fruits and veggies are not the best. Meats are not great either. But dried foods and canned goods... Milk oj etc... Great!! Oh and some special cheeses too!!!
Do not like the foods they sell. They dont have many selections of dif brands.
Very nice grocery store with lots of great deals. Had a wonderful cashier named Kelly
Only No Frills in Windsor. It's not as big as I though but it has everything you need. I do like the price matching. Overall it's cute small and the people are cool.
Quite honestly surprised at how high quality the produce was. I'm used to most No Frills having rotting produce wasting away into slop along with shopping carts that have to be dragged around like an unwillingly squealing tiger but this No Frills is neither of these!
Like any other budget grocery store but very clean! Only safe thing was little to 0 lactose free options
Had exactly what I needed at a fair price
I live in the apartments across the street from No Frills so it is convient when you need something quick. Not the best for full groceries though. I attempted to do a full grocery shopping there when they had $1 sale on almost all of their products. I ended up leaving and going to Metro because No Frills has very limited product. Espiecally since my Fiance is Lactose Intolerant and we have to buy certain products which No Frills doesn't carry. If you want a cart you have to insert a dollar to use it. A little frustrating when you don't have one. The cashiers will exchange your loose coin for a dollar though. I find the store kind of small and the isles narrow so if you have a lot of people shopping it can be kind of tight. I do like that they are assiociated with Zehrs so you can use your PC Plus points there. Like I said I only go there if I need a few small things or forgot something at Metro or Zehrs.
Store is too small. Not a huge selection of even basic everyday items. Always a line up. Not enough checkouts to handle the volume of people. Aisles are too narrow. Does not accept visa. Always a different salesperson pushing you to sign up for PC MasterCard. Lots of parking space though.
They have the best sales and the employees are always friendly.
Small and crowded. Inconvenient that you need a loonie for a shopping cart. Produce is usually great though and they get decent sales.
The prices and selection are good. But once again I am waiting with about 30 other people in the check out. 3 registers open and the lines are down the aisle. I haven't even moved in line while writing this. Hey no frills how about you actually open all 5 registers .I don't think you're hurting for money if the lines are this long every time I come here
A little crowded but has the majority of stuff No Frills should have. Staff was smiling. Next to crowded still a good place if you don't mind. In short, you fit a lot in a little space be prepared for crowding. :-)
Sometimes can be very busy and long lines, otherwise a good place to shop. Great deals, efficient staff.
Love doing my shopping at this NO FRILLS the employees are always willing to help me when I cant find what I'm looking for.love their protocol only allowing so many people in at a time feel very safe there. Thank you for your services .
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Stire was clean and employee went above and beyond to go and find a sale product that out if stock out front but in todays delivery.
Decent produce and meats, better management then other budget stores.
Good value for your money. Clean, shelves never empty, friendly service.
I'm always pleased to see the protocols followed and proper precautions taken to ensure the safety of not only customers but employees as well. ????
Good specials, very efficient paying for groceries
The girlfriend and I have been coming here for yrs. The deals are great. The employees are awesome. It's always clean inside. There haven't been too many times we have left without completely checking off our list. We don't even discuss where to go shopping anymore. It's No-Frills! Aka The Box. :) Ty Tony and Cathy.
All your staff was very helpful seeing as I am in a wheelchair. Was disappointed I couldn't get any pork chops as I came from the west end. But will be back when I can get there.
The store was OK. Not nearly enough selection as I thought there might be. Prices weren't much different than regular Superstore. $1 for a shopping cart.... Cashier was nice...... Won't be going back tho :-(
Great little grocery store. Nothing fancy. Great staff. Could use some upgrades in the meats and spices.
Wide selection of sale items. A staff member is always around if you have a question. Friendly cashiers too. Much better then other grocery stores.
No Frills is a good place to shop, but this one is too small and today it was really busy and crowded and it was hard walking around and checking out.
