If you're going to eat whatever you're buying in the same day you should be fine. However, I have brussel sprouts that went moldy overnight and bananas that at still green where they are attached, but the rest is turning brown and already molding. Have had this issue multiple times with fruits and veggies from here.

A wide array of affordable produce, many items that are hard to find elsewhere. Friendly and helpful staff. One of my favorite places for cheap bulk produce.

Cool Place for Vegetable and Fruit shopping. They have very good variety for seasonal fruits. Cheese section is very good. Fresh vaggies. They clossing time is bit early compare to other stores. Also, they Do not Accept CREDIT CARDS.

Lunchbag let-down! I won't waste another penny at Joseph's. The produce is not fresh. I have a bag of tomatoes that went moldy in 2 days, bag of cauliflower florets are done after 3 days! Great for my compost but that's it!!!

Cheap fruit and veg in heaps, open opportunity for discerning foodies. Dont come if youre looking for pristine fruit stands in an chilled airlock. Dont come if you dont know how to pick underripe/ripe/bruised fruit, bc you WILL be tested. This is a cornerstone in our household.

Good prices but not all sales are sales. Some item are marked down because if you don't buy the the day of, they spoil before you can use them. Sometimes the slightly higher priced items are a better deal because they are much fresher.

Some of vegetables and fruits are rotten. Keep your eyes on them. When I found rotten asked for replace. Cashier is very nice willing let me exchange rotten to good one. Keep eyes on them. Price are reasonable. Best deal in Windsor.

Poor quality of fruits and vegetables. They sale a lot of produces in bad condition. Rotten vegetables. Rotten fruits. Expired bags of potatoes chips. Etc. The supermarkets sale better quality of produces. Believe me. I know. I'm an Avid grocery shopper with immense knowledge.

Moldy broccoli, "fresh" asparagus that's fraying out like it's been sitting there two weeks, wilting lettuce-all of them, moldy peppers...thank God I was wearing a double mask to not smell the aromas that were most likely like rotting vegetables. Shrinking blueberries in the packages...not good. And I used to recommend Joseph's produce as the best vegetable source.

I did grocery at this market today and had a real bad experience here. As purchase of $11 something, I gave the cashier 50 dollars, and she said she didn’t have changes and asked me to pay with the debit card, however I didn’t bring any card, so I said if she can change with other cashiers. She refused to do that and said uncompromisingly if you can’t pay wit debit card, you just leave the stuff and go. So I just confused how she can refused to solve the problem and ask the customers to do that by themselves ? This is the last time to do grocery here.

Affordable produce, but not always the best quality. Most produce items I purchase from here are for quick consumption as they regularly go bad before you think they will. Grapes are almost always priced good as well as bagged baby carrots. Any boxed, packaged items check best before dates before purchasing.

If I could give this place a 0, I would. Produce is horrible. Seconds should not be spoiling, getting moldy on the shelf. Fruit tastes old and only lasts a day before rotting. Never will be returning!

I’m giving this place a low rating because the fruit tastes like cardboard. I’m glad I bought only 1 box of each and not more, because it literally has no taste. Also, I looked through maybe 5 boxes of blueberries before picking one because they had mold. Also, I’ve heard terrible stories about their meat. Joseph’s Farm Market should close down! Because they sell expired food!

WARNING - bring a debit card as they don't take credit and owner reluctant to put up signs (no idea why) so you won't find out until you check up with a buggy full. But am happy to report that I found wonderful prices on coffee pods on my first visit, so will be back!
