This is a great Safeway store. Wide isles and good staff. The shelves are always well stocked. I find it a comfortable store to shop at.

Very impressed with Peninsula Village Canada Safeway yesterday. Stopped in briefly and found their managing of social distancing to be very well thought out, esp the marking out of the floor and moving around of fixtures to ensure shoppers keep their distance. Staff very professional. Just stopped by for a couple of things and felt the store making a real effort. Thank you.

The best place to do your groceries at night. This Safeway is usually quiet at night, well stocked, and has plenty of parking. Sure, you could spend maybe 10% less on your bill elsewhere but you know at this location you can Safeway grab something without checking the expiry date. The brand selection and quality is also top notch. There’s an underground parkade and entrance for those who don’t want to brave the weather and it’s in a good plaza with fantastic sushi next door and London Drugs if Safeway missed anything.

Never enough cashier's and the worst bakery of any Safeway, every bread is just white bread shaped different ways. I wish the bakery could get lessons from the Safeway on Oak and King Ed in Vancouver. This is my last resort to go to for groceries.

most of the staff have been friendly or helpful to me... but Safeway has really gone chincy with their Air Miles points...not even worth it to shop here for Air Miles any more... used to get 200-250 bonus miles EVERY WEEK but now I'm lucky if I earn 150 in a month...

No problem with the product range and the prices are consistent with most other supermarkets. The problem is the service. I stood for ages at the fresh meat and seafood counter to be served. I guess the 7 people working behind the counter had more important things to do, despite making eye contact with 2 of them. When I finally got served, I was handed my order without so much as a word spoken by the employee.

I purchased a balloon and a bouquet for my son's wedding on May 27, but I found the balloon was leaking. The lady whose name is Kristin I remember, she checked every balloon for me but everyone is leaking. She is very nice, gave me a giant balloon instead for free. I really appreciate she has done this for me. We had a wonderful wedding. Thank you Kristin.

I would say this is an upscale Safeway... Like they say all the wholesome stuff is located along the perimeter.. Staff very helpful in finding items on your list.

Love this Safeway! It's always busy but never feels crowded. Great produce and a decent selection of ready-made foods. And a Starbucks on site too! This store is in my regular shopping rotation. ????

Location is great, parking is usually decent and free. Hey also have a Starbucks so you can eat while shopping. They also have soup which I believe is decent. Their food is cheap, but not very good quality and their meat section isn’t my favourite. They have a wide selection of foods. They don’t have much staff. Smells decent, large enough to have four people side by side. The store is not very attractive though. They also have automating doors. Overall a great store, but I only gave this a four star rating because their meat section is not the best, they are under-manned, their food isn’t always quality and the store is not very attractive. I would recommend coming here if you are looking to save some money on half-decent food.

Busy store. Meat section is awesome and sale prices are the best around! Had a prime rib roast cut into steaks and they were massive. Each steak was over 1.5lbs!! So tender.

Given the amount of Senior's Residences within walking distance, it would be nice to see a better prepared meals option available. Clearly struggling to keep shelves stocked with certain product.

Excellent selection of items you don't normally find at a Safeway at this location. Great bakery and floral dept. Fruits and meats always fresh and stocked. Propane exchange program available as well. Underground parking as well as ground level parking available.

Outstanding customer service and care, this location is out of the way for me but totally worth the drive. This location really sets apart from other locations especially the bakery and the employees that make our shopping experience pleasant and easy. This is one of the best Safeways I've ever been to. Most of the staff go above and beyond to be friendly and helpful, and seem to genuinely enjoy their work. The produce is generally fresh, and there have been many promotions of local BC farms' products. The selection of other products is more than adequate to make this my go-to for groceries.

Good array of stores almost one stop shopping. Parking is not thwart with collision risk like Semiahmoo mall is.

Safeway is amongst all stores the most expensive. This location has a knack not honouring their sales system if you have to go to a price check they will rip that sticker off and say it's regular price . did you know if it's under $10 and there's a sticker and they accidentally charged full price they have to refund you or if you catch it during the same visit they give you the item for free by law. They have ripped me off twice

Not the cheapest place but they do have few quality items. We have bought a free range organic fed turkey here and it was noticably different and better than the stuff we usually buy. I like the salad and deli section, it is worth checking out.

Great, friendly service. The meat is exceptional, especially the beef. Steaks are always great. Ground beef is always so much better here than at other grocery chains in South Surrey! How can there be such a difference in ground beef from one store to another? Keep doing whatever it is you do that makes your meat quality so superior to the competition.

This Safeway is very big, has a Starbucks inside, also has a large deli with a Chinese food buffet. My local Ocean Park Safeway closes at 10pm but this one closes at 11pm, so I can always go there if I need something later! A great Safeway store!

This Safeway has good selection of produce, meat and seafood. Pricing on some common items is decent ( 4L of Barrel Organic Milk Is always 7.99.) however if you don't pay attention some of the products are ridiculously priced. Checked out with 2 spaghetti squash for a ridiculous $21. I asked them to cancel the item and got beef shanks instead for $14. The place is clean and bright which is essential qualities of a grocery store.

I love this shop, but today I met two garbage guys who were grossly racist. I went to the glass milk bottle (and here a few times before), a man finished the work of one of the clients in front of me and ignored me and walked out of the counter, there was another older man outside the counter, I greeted them and said back the bottle, they asked me to go to the cashier, when I got to the cashier, a lady looked in the direction of their counter to look for them, both of them were gone. Obviously, there was a notice of returning the bottle where they worked, and I believed that was their job responsibility, but they refused without reason. I wouldn't go there again, never????????????????????

Whenever I go there for grocery shopping I use self check out, and If I need help with something I can not find anyone who can help me. The other day this cashier was standing there, she looked at me couple time. The light was flashing which mean customer need help she never came and asked if I need help, she was talking to other cashier the hole time. After waiting for several minutes I had go there and ask for help. This was not for the first time every time I shop there. I wouldn't write this if it was the first time.

This Safeway is a pretty good grocery store. Has most, if not all of the regular amenities that a typical grocery store has je) floral section, bakery, deli etc. But this one also has a permanent Chinese food buffet (little overpriced) as well as a Starbucks inside.

This is by far one of the best Safeway grocery stores I shop at. It's always very clean and organized very efficiently. Everything is easy to find and the staff are very helpful if you have any questions and concerns. They have a little Chinese food place that makes some of the best Chinese food around. All in all its a very God shopping experience.
