I needed flowers and a carrot cake. I was in and out less than 5 minutes. One staff member was arranging my flowers while another asked me if I needed anything else. I told her a carrot cake and she showed me two types they have. I was extremely blown away by the customer service. Will be going back real soon. Thanks again

Great food market. I'm really impressed by the layout and the setup of the store. It's super organized and clean. They have a wide assortment of vegetables both organic and not organic and locally grown stuff too. The fresh meats and fish is awesome and they have natural almond butter and peanut butter. There is a good selection of dried fruit and a wide selection of nuts. The whole store is really thought out and a great selection in every food category.

Fresh street can be a little pricey compared to some other grocery stores but there are deals to be had if you know your prices. Their deli, fish counter, and meat counter are second to none. Their pre-made meals and take & bake pizzas are fantastic. Great service. Overall my favourite grocery store in Fleetwood.

This place is such a breath of "fresh" air in Surrey. Out of the norm for Surrey, has a good feel to it with great produce and usually some good deals on staples. Good coffee bar, burger grill and to go dinner options as well! And draught coffee on tap! Yum!

I love all the product varieties they carry. Like freshly baked goods, or sandwiches and soups daily. I always come here for their cakes, which I love the most. The items are on the pricier side but I'm still willing to pay the extra for the quality I get.

Order two philly cheesesteaks today about 30 minutes ago and realized the one was half the size than the other one. I realized that the guy who was making the sandwich was not a happy camper..just staring at me while I was giving out the receipt for the proof of purchase while telling me to give it to him after he makes the sandwich ???? To the staff: You may have a bad day for many reasons but at least smile a bit and make the sandwich like you’re actually serving it to the customer, not like you’re making it for yourself. I paid $15 for the two and the one is half the size than I purchased two days ago. I was so close to go back to the store and complain to the manager. To others: Except this grumpy staff, I love this store and I visit it every week. Products are amazing and store it extremely clean.

I thought this was a great place when it first open, but now I have changed my mind. Yesterday I bought some strawberries and found 5 rooten ones hidden on the bottom. The same goes for the goose berries which were reduced to shells because most had dried out. I also bought some prepackaged steaks. Fresh ..well the bottom of them were dark brown, yet the label said packaged today. I will not even mention the long line ups at the cashier....while others stand around and chat about exchanging shifts. Freshstreet is beginning to smell more like Rotten Street. I have upgraded my review to 3 stars as some things have improved. They finally replaced the open frozen food section with some vertical freezers. I hope this solves the half frozen produce problem they had in this area since they opened. The meat selection has also improved, but I still stay away from their seafood…anything that smells that funky is just not fresh. Bakery is still is full of items that are past the best before date, so look around before you buy anything, especially during the week days. Vegetables are typically very good quality, but the fruit I found has limited shelf life left.

I come here a few times a week. It is always clean and well maintained. The store is well stocked and the produce is always very nice. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful and the best part! They have the most amazing burgers in the diner area!!! Takes a few minutes but totally worth the wait. The bakery is always fresh and has a very good variety. I love the ambiance of this market. Their bakery is great, and they make this piece of heaven called maple pecan pastry, absolutely divine. The Coffee is also really good. We tried the sandwiches last time. We took the classic burger, and the Philly Cheese Steak, both were very mediocre quality, and taste wise. Also, I found that the Philly steak sandwich is quite small to pay 7$ for. Generally the place is pricey, but the desert section is worth it.

The ambiance Fresh is going for is that of a collection of shops in a market. It mostly works. There is a deli, a bakery and a soup counter for example. However when checkout time comes, it is still an IGA supermarket. The checkout staff was friendly but mostly very young, and about as engaged as the usual run of teenagers could be expected to be. My wife likes to shop here, and I like the coffee.

Despite marketing almost exclusively to hipsters and yuppies they have genuinely good food and baked goods freshly made in-store. The coffee is better than Starbucks across the street and priced about the same. Grocery prices range from higher to much higher than your average store but you're paying the the quality and it shows. All that being said, they host community events several times a year (halibut festival, salmon and Berry festival, grilled cheese festival) which are DEFINITELY worth taking your family to if you can.

Coming from smaller towns myself, I have grown accustomed to shopping at places like safeway, Walmart, superstore and other huge chains. And man, was I missing out. Our first time to Fresh St Market, we barely made it out of the bakery section with room I our cart. The meats, the garden section, the deli... all fantastic. The staff are friendly and don't seem to hate their lives. The food is fresh, and immediately you can taste the difference. We won't be going anywhere else again.

If you enjoy things like richly aromatic roasted garlic, that you don't have to cook, or everything else that isn't in a "chain" store, this place is for you. It is a very trendy up-to-date Marketplace. You can get take away from the deli they have a large selection of soups and sandwiches, and wraps that you can take with you or eat there as there is a little sit down place. The bakery is fresh with an assortment of world breads. Fresh homemade buns snd cookies. They have a wonderful fish mongers where you can have practically any fish to fry up in your dish. The butcher has such an array of assortments of different Meats some prepared ready to be cooked. The cheese and deli section has many different types of cheeses some from different parts of the world. This place is best known for it's Fresh Foods. The middle Isles are just your regular day-to-day canned dried foods, coffee tea shelves. And these items can be expensive so you are really going there for the fresh meats and vegetables and fish and bakery. I believe you do have to pay for your bags so bring your own. They have a lovely florist who cater to your needs. They also have just started online shopping a wonderful asset to have. This is a very busy Marketplace and the parking can get busy. Every now and then they will have the specials with a tent outside and live music playing where you can come and taste the food and then buy them on sale. the stuff and management are open to any discussions or any ideas that you have they welcome them.

It has everything I need for a quick and delicious meal from marinated meats and seafood ready to cook to delicious desserts! It even has a sushi bar! The only place we shop for groceries, as before they opened we went to other places like Save-On and Safeway but now after Fresh Street we haven't been there for almost a year now! Great community, friendly staff, and amazing goods. The meat quality is superb, vegetables are fresh, and the deli feels like an old school shop backed up with great staff and quality cuts. While rating it a 5/5 I would like to note that their bulk cookies use to be better but now feels like they're either old or over baked. We really missed the great cookies they use to have when they first opened for the first 6 months but it's not enough to bring it down a star rating. You don't feel like a walking $ bill at this place, we do small and large style shopping and never feel like we get ripped off or over pay as you should be eating quality instead of quantity!

I'm sad to say that the quality control and customer service at this store has gone down since COVID. I've noticed a decline in recent months but my most recent visit sealed the coffin for me. In one visit I had unprepared food, curry that wouldn't scan, ice cream that was unrecognized by their system - both causing a very long lineup as the cashier tried over and over again - and lastly...moldy bread! Then, when I called 15 min later, the manager told me they "might" give store credit if I come back without the receipt. (Who takes the receipt nowadays?) I'm disappointed. A store that was once a favourite is no longer, due to their lack of commitment to quality and customer service.

Went here today for first time as just moved here. Bought one(the last) cinnamon bun from the bakery. Besides being terribly overpriced for such a small size IT WAS ROCK HARD. DRIED OUT. I have left buns out for two days and not this dry. Why was this not tossed in garbage. I did not notice until I got home. It went straight to garbage. I did not want to break a tooth. I certainly. This is the place you need to go if you want a better and cleaner shopping experience. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh. The baked goods here are on another level! Multiple gluten free and vegan options available. Meat and fish department has high quality options. The couple that makes sushi there are great. They make very good sushi for the price. They have a coffee roastery with different coffee and tea options. It's located on the far right when you walk in and the Americano is tasty! You must try it once! Highly recommended!

A little expensive in general. Beware of the Soupes are mostly creovac. That is bagged air tight and not fresh made at this grocery store. It a reality for most grocery store like Save On Food , Safeway etc...Beware of soup like the chowder or any potato Soups mix You will. Find very little potatoes due to over cooked.

There's a good amount of organic products here. The bakery and coffee barista is great with various choices to choose from. Fresh St Market is a great produce and marketplace for Surrey. A great add for the city of parks. When produce season comes around, it's a highly recommended stop for quality selections. Prices are decent on some items and pretty awesome for some.

I love this store. Staff is great and food is good. Meats are priced well and some good deals. Only issue is how slow coffee bar was on a Saturday early afternoon. One girl taking order, cash and making the drinks. Everyone else in dept was non existant. One girl at back with back turned phone plugged in and texting whole time. Other girl sitting at table right in behind counter making schedules or something and 2 other girls standing talking off to left towards cookies and deserts. They looked at me and no greeting or offer to help or anything. Only the one girl was working all areas. I was 3rd in line and took over 15 mins for me to get a coffee. Everything else is a step above a normal grocery store

I shop with Fresh Street Farms 2-3 times a week. Most of the food is great in the deli department but the service has changed since they have hired new employees. 3 people behind the counter and no one seemed to want to help. I approached the guy handling the grill (he was doing nothing at the time) and he said that wasn't his department - he only handles the grill. Very awkward moment with him. I hope the service improves soon. I haven't been back since.

I went to buy meat a raw inside round roast beef .The amount of meat is 22.37 with GST came out to be 23.49 The cashier charged me GST! Since when we have to pay GST on raw meat????? . Fresh St. has 5-star foods, but a bit on the pricey side, hence the 4 stars. My family gets the chicken there often, and they've always been deliciously-seasoned and juicy. Their blueberry and key lime cake is exceptional, and has become one of my favourite desserts. I also wish I had never tried their chocolate avalanches, because they are so addictive! The staff are always friendly and cheerful. Overall, Fresh St. is excellent.

The produce is always fresh. The meats are from grass fed animals and the variety of meats are wonderful. The seafood is of outstanding quality and freshness and again the varietyis very satisfying. The staff are wonderfully warm and always friendly. I Love my Fresh Street Farms. I also truly love the variety of sauces, mustards, dressings and spices. Coffe is fresh and so tasty. The prices are a tad more than other places but i have no problem paying extra for great quality. So worth it. Places that are cheaper actually loose you more money due to poor quality so in comparison the prices are actually very reasonable. I am very fortunate to be within walking.distance but i know of many people that drive from outer areas to shop here. Kudos and Bravo to you Fresh Street for your wonderful attention to detail. Your so convenient delivery service and your helpful tips on healthy eating habits and your seasonal recipes artfully displayed on chalkboards. Obviously i can't say enough about you. More than a grocery store. You can get fresh roasted coffee grinds, a warm sandwich, fresh sushi... Stay informed on the specials that they have, halibut, salmon, even the parking lot sales can be hectic, but we'll worth the experience. The inner aisles were nothing special when they opened up, but are now worth checking out. The outer ring, as my wife likes to call it is what makes this a stand-out grocery store in Fleetwood.

I mistakenly picked up a keto ice cream not looking at the price ( single serving for 12 dollars) and a cabbage salad when i opened it up stank very very bad ( not the first time this has happened) . The manager wouldn't refund me because it was covid rules and no returns which I understand but as a regularly shopper at Fresh St i have noticed that the customer service has gone way down as well. As a regular customer at Fresh Street Market, the service is ok but one incident was Disturbing... I saw " baked goods" still fit for human consumption being disposed "from store display tray baskets to the organic bin". Would have been more pleased if these were placed in paper bags and sold as assorted clearance baked goods or donated to a soup kitchen instead. There are nearby soup kitchens around, an example is at St Mathew's parish, in an effort to have one mouth less going hungry... I was told by the Cashier that the store has a partnership with foodbank and a lot is being donated. I appreciate the effort being done but don't you think there is still room for improvement and that we can do better?

Their produce is nice and fresh. great friendly staff. also the pizza omg the pizza it is only 8.99 for a large one and its amazing. far better than pizza hut or boston pizza or panago or little ceasers. i have tried them all and not only is it better it has more cheese and is like half the price. but just yum.

Terrible customer service. This happened Few months ago. I bought myself vegan ice cream bar and when i opened right after not even 5 minutes after.. it was all melt inside I couldn’t even hold it with the stick.... i went back and had a conversation with the manager. She was rather rude to me and said “ofc it melts its a ice cream” she told me feel the ice cream and refused to admit the ice cream is not melted. Clearly though it was all melted and deformed when I unpacked. I felt horrible after. She ruined my day.

I love this place. They have a variety of very fresh vegetables their baked goods are quite yummy. Very friendly staff. I always end up spending more than I had planned but not complaining. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Fresh st Market has a Sushi department. Kind service, High quality, Large portion, Incredibly afforable price. I have been to countless sushi restaurants in lower mainland: Downtown Vancouver, North Van, Burnaby, Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam. I cannot believe that the best experience and delicious rolls and party tray I ever had would be at a sushi department in Fresh st. Market. This is the true hidden gem.

Went there to buy Benny's Bagels. Go there for some specialty items. There is good selection of steaks. There is usually good hot food - soups, curries, and rice. Though i noticed that their shopping baskets don't get wiped/cleaned. During Covid times most of the grocery stores have been cleaning their baskets. I had to look for one that wasn't yucky.

This upscale grocer is a go-to for something special. Pricey, yes, but the seafood and cheese selections are superior and the bakery is reminiscent of an European patisserie. The coffee bar is a wonderful treat and it is a pleasure to grind one's own fresh peanut butter. The staff are very pleasant.

Best Bakery selection around.Specialty upscale types of food available. Relaxing atmosphere. Will travel from Langley to Fleetwood to shop here. Locally owned and operated so support them.

Alot of items in their bakery have no ingredients listed and no packaged date. Purchased a banana cream pie with an expiry date of July 5th on July 2. The lady said it was likely packaged the day before. Came home and the bananas in the pie were black. Paid a little over $11 for it. I'd rather go to Nester's or Safeway where everything is properly labelled for a lot less.

Feel very disappointed at Fresh Street Farm at Fleetwood. I was looking for some pancake mix on Saturday. I found there are some mice Pooh on the shelf and floor. I also saw there are some boxes with stain mark ( maybe from the pee of mice). I told one of the cashier right away. He said sorry to me. But do nothing about that. Today, I went there again to buy milk. And I went there to check. The mice Pooh still there. And there are more food crumbs on the shelf. It looks the mice get into some packages on the shelf.

Forgot how awesome this place is...popped in for something quick for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by my choices everything is high quality ..may cost a bit more but the quality make up for it...and the give you a option for paper or plaste for bags...(paper) and they have a sandwich loyalty card buy7 get 1 free????????????ps and the customer service was great as well!

The staff here are friendly and they habe good products. Lots of cheeses and deli items and fresh seafood too. Its always good to go on a Saturday or Sunday when they are hosting a cook-off or their Halibut festival.

Fantastic place ,they buy local ,fresh produce and a great butcher shop ,their sushi is made fresh everyday. I haven't eaten from their hot food menu myself but I have heard they make a killer burger

Strange place. A lot of products you've never heard of before. Kind of a vegetarian wannabe store that isn't. Higher than normal prices all combine to make this an odd-ball kind of grocery store. That being said they have an excellent coffee bar, fresh soups and stews usually with a Southern Asian bent. A sushi bar and a grill for made to order foods from breakfast to burgers. Kind of makes this a one-stop shop for groceries and/or a quick bite. I should also mention very good fresh veggie selection and a very, very good meat/seafood department. Recommended. NOTE: Aside from management, you will never see a single staff member there twice in any subsequent visits (???) Wonder why...

Very crafty with good high end selection. More expensive then most grocery stores without those crafty additions. If you've got a few extra bucks to spend on better quality produce and less bulk generic grocery's it's a great place. Great coffee shop inside as well!

Bought two small cakes from store to celebrate our little special occasion and was disappointed.. We couldn't eat more than one bite.. It's absolutely stale and taste just sugar.. Creme on top was awful.. Not expected from fresh st. Market..

Honestly my favourite grocery store to shop at. The bakery selection is amazing. Some things are a little pricey compared to other larger chains but all in all most grocery items are quite reasonable and there are some good deals to be had on sale items.

The layout is cozy and efficient. They have fresh produce, meats and cheeses. There are a few unique things they carry but not much. They also have a great flower department. I also enjoy their yearly off shore sales for salmon and halibut. The downside is I’ve had many expired/ rancid and rotten products from this store ironically named Fresh St. It’s just not fresh. It doesn’t live up to its name. The marked down meat never lasts more than a day. Grains are almost always rancid. I think the turnover of the products are not fast enough because of the lack of business this location has. I don’t shop here as often anymore unless it’s for a snack or fish/ meat. I hope they improve because they have so much potential.
