Usually ok but be careful, they sometimes throw extra charges on your bill. I got charged for a melon, I didn’t buy a melon! When I complained they only gave me some of the money back.

If you want the best quality produce for the best price this is the place. I have traveled extensively in western Canada and this is consistently the absolute best market in the country. I LOVE going here and plan meals around my ability to go to Chan’s. When I go to a chain store supermarket after Chan’s I am disappointed and have spent more. At Chan’s they are always restocking and have great, fast service. I can not say enough about how amazing this place is!

It's a good veggie stand. A fair selection of veggies and a few extra Asian varieties. Seems fairly fresh and ok prices. I personally wouldn't travel a great distance but would definitely recommend if you're in the neighbourhood.

Great fresh produce for affordable prices! I did not find dairy free milk (soy/almond) and also frozen veggies like peas/corn. Would be nice to find those items as well :)

Was especially good today as lots on sale. Had been to Mary's Garden and it was very expensive there. Got corn on the cob, lovely and fresh, broccoli, onions, celery, lettuce plus fruit. Big bag was about $15

This place seems to have a bit of everything. Some asian produce. Great prices on fruits and vegetables. They carry my favourite pasta (de cecco) and have an assorted amount of other goods from Jams to chocolates, eggs and tofu.

Usually really good. .yet last 2 times bought prepackaged blueberries half package bad or soft. Container says Kamal farms. Given up picking out bad ones. .instead trying to pick out edible ones. Really dissapointed.

Always better quality no matter what it is your getting at Chan's! Find their prices as good if not better than the box stores, location can be busy and getting in and out for parking may need patience. As well as the ques to pay, BUT there ques go quickly! No unnecessary chit chat like the Safeway across the street! Kudos they have been servicing the community so a very long time and let's all hope it won't end any time soon!

I witnessed a lady who had an medical exemption and was refused service, the manager who is named Eric told her to leave and said she was on private property.. how are you running a business and don't know that you are licensed by the city and open to the public. Very unprofessional of you. You and your workers should not be discriminating, never shopping there again.

the small lady cashier is so rude. i understand that she may be standing there for hours but she doesnt even smile or say hello to acknowledge the customer. I suggest you designate someone who has a warm attitude especially those in the cashier because they are the one's who interacts with the customers.

Chan's has a large selection of produce, with a growing amount of organic produce. There is also a decent amount of non perishable staples such as pasta and biscuits as well as a small cooler/freezer section. Good prices too.
