Good service... but. Strawberries out on the front table, very large, mostly bright but little to no flavour. Looked and tasted like the Ever -berry plant which never has flavour. Fresh peas, first day out, should have been left in the garden for another week. Maybe then there would have been enough to eat. Most peas were either very small or none in the pod at all. Four quarts of peas in pod got us four cups of podded peas. Should get better.

Great little market, lots of fresh produce and homemade items, but I mainly go there for the firewood. Anyone who is camping in the area that doesnt want to get ripped off by buying firewood at the campground needs to make the trip to Gallaghers, it worth it, theyll even help you load it in your car. One of those hard to find, quality 'mom and pop' stores, a rarity nowadays. (the google marker is a little off, if they havent changed it yet it actually located just west of effingham road on hwy 20)

Poor customer service. Had 3 teenage staff that were rude to me and other customers for no good reason. Won’t be returning. I would rather drive down the street to a grocery store. Owners need to teach their staff respect and how to deal with customers in a professional manner.

It's so nice to once again be able to stop at a road side market,say hello to some local folks, pick out local products and help the people who feed us. Sure there were customer limits in the store but a small price to pay to help make sure people are getting a pay cheque. When we left those in line seemed to be patient and understanding most with a smile, enjoying the last long weekend of the summer. Why not take a trip out into the country and help the little guy, everyone is tying to recover so here is your chance to help. It's very important to understand where our food comes from because of those who work the land to help feed us. Remember, no farms, no farmers,no food.

3 people allowed in store at a time due to COVID, however there is no way to count the number of people in the store, and there is no employee to direct foot traffic. Very bad set up.

I love this little market. I've been shopping here for years. Fresh, delicious food from veggies and fruit to dairy, meat and baked goods, flowers and trees, wood and Christmas trees. And the service is always incredible. Try the butter tarts and pies! You'll never buy them from anywhere else again!

My husband and I went to Gallaghers Farm Market on Sunday, August 28th to purchase cucumbers and possibly tomato's for canning. I found the atmosphere not very friendly. We wanted fresh cucumbers from the storage not the ones in the store as they were limp. The young lady (blonde hair) looked a little stunned when I told her I did not want the ones on display. She did go and get me a couple of #2 baskets. After a few minutes we decided we wanted to get a couple baskets of #3's and again I requested them from the back. We were then told there was not any more left. I questioned this in my mind because of the way we were answered. She was not totally rude but was not sales friendly either. This situation left me with a bad taste and instead of buying other vegetables and fruits I left very perturbed. hen I asked my husband how he felt he said he agreed with me. We are from the falls and were recommends by a friend to try your store. From an unhappy Customer

AT GALLAGHER'S, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG!! I ordered wood on a friday and set up delivery for the next day - saturday. I gave the man my phone number and no wood showed up. I called again today (Friday the next week) and he told me I gave him the wrong phone number. He said if I gave him the right phone number I would have got the wood that day. Hmmm, interesting that he accuses me of giving him the wrong phone number...not that he might have wrote it down incorrectly. He had the address (about 1 km away) and he could have drove to the house - I waited at home all day! But it was my fault because I always give people the wrong phone number when I want to order something. Obviously I will never be shopping or ordering from Gallagher's again. Too bad at Gallgaher's the customer is always wrong!
