Its the meat shop for me. Close from my place and mostly all the kinds are available that I need. Also, so far this is the only place within Waterloo where I can find parboiled basmati rice. I visit the place often.

BEWARE! I just want the public to be aware and not fall into the same trap I did. The flyer on Flipp although set for January 4-10, when you go in and look for the sale items they will use the excuse that it says October on the actual flyer. They don't even have the products in stock. It's false advertising just to get consumers in the door.

The best middle eastern grocery store in KW. It has some other Indian and Pakistani products. Super friendly staff and excellent variety of products. Good location just a few blocks from university of Waterloo. Also big and nice parking area. Here only you’re gonna find the premium Saudi dates (Sukari Mufatal) and other saudi products at amazingly affordable price. I usually compare the price to the other similar grocery stores and here I always find the price lower (you can proof it yourself). Furthermore, some products like Alwatan bread is even cheaper than food Basics. The meat is halal (hand cut) and fresh, they sell the whole Ontario lamb for $320 while the other stores sell the same product for $350! even the price per pound is cheaper, and the quality and taste is better for sure. Great job guys, keep up the hard work ????????

Very unique store I must say. Whomever is ordering the groceries really knows what they're doing. A lot of the frozen kabobs, cold cuts, frozen desserts, and a whole bunch of other products are hard to find or pretty much nonexistent in other stores. The same goes for their meat. Fresh Ontario goat at a decent and affordable price. I've yet to find fresh goat in other halal stores. They must know some really special suppliers. Most times I have no choice but to come here to buy food because again what they sell is unique to them and are products you won't find in other stores. Well kudo's to you guys for keeping me well fed haha.

I had the discount card from LSI and the cashier was like "It is only 4 dollars" and when I asked is the bill has to be at a specific amount, she said she does not know!!! Also, told her that the vanilla on the shelves expired and I came back a couple of days later and still found it on the shelf. The fruit was also rotten.

The person who gave a 1 star rating is not even from Ontario and has confused it with a store in Montreal perhaps. If this store is going to be HMA certified we can be confident that the auditors will ensure compliance and thus Certified Halal according to HMA’s very strict procedures and policies for all meat products which means NO machine slaughtered chicken will be offered.

The services are good at beginning but it starts to detoriate in course of becoming regular customer.. I have stopped buying meat from kishki because they continuously sold me too much lard instead of meat. I used to travel from stratford to waterloo to fetch meat but I have decided to stop. It's better to be healthy than to be sick. Totally disappointed.

The entrance door is not opening by pressing push plate. It is difficult for handicapped people to enter. Also for other people it is difficult to open and enter with shopping cart. We need two people. One to open the door and other one to enter with shopping cart. I highlighted this matter to owner and other employees but no action taken yet.

One of my favourite grocery stores. But the reason I am giving 2 stars today because the person who served me today cut the 12 pound Katla fish I bought all into different small pieces, some pieces look like ice cubes, some pieces are triangle in shaped, some are look like potatoes cut into wedges. Either he doesn’t know how to cut fish or he is super careless. Other day I was charged more than the advertised price in the flyer for chicken breast. When asked the guy told that the price he is saying is the right price. Seems like he doesn’t bother about the flyer. The quality of merchandise/food/meat in the store are really good and the price is also reasonable . All we expect is more professional service.

You have to review your receipts each time you go there . For the 4th time in row there is a mistake in the receipt . I am fed up with going back to fix these mistakes and get money back . When you buy something that is on sale , make sure that you are not charged for an expensive similar product . You will be always charged for the expensive produce not the produce you have , and I am saying always and I meant it as this is happening consistently with me . I do not know if this is the store philosophy but it is really annoying . I never asks for receipts when shopping , but with kishki I have to take it and review it then go back and fix the mistakes . Maybe it is easier to shop elsewhere !
