Hands down my favourite bubble tea place in Waterloo. Not only is it one of the cheapest, it also is one of the best-tasting places. The rewards program nets you a free bubble of any size with any number of toppings for every ten bubble tea you buy, so it's a great opportunity to try out more expensive toppings you don't wanna get normally. (I tried Fresh Taro the other day with my free drink reward and found I really loved it.) The only cons would be that they don't have too much selection for actual teas compared to some other places, and that since it's such a great place it tends to be busy.

Coco is easily my favourite bubble tea store in Waterloo for my go to brown sugar bubble tea (75% sugar as I find regular too sweet). In my experience I have found they tend to run out of brown sugar pearls towards the end of the night, so I try not to visit them near closing. There is usually a long lineup, so I would suggest ordering ahead using their app. The only downside is they close at 10pm. I wish they stayed open later!

Bubble tea here is pretty good ! I really like the three guys drink, which has three different toppings, tapioca, pudding, and grass jelly. I have also tried the matcha red bean bubble tea which was also really good. I usually get 50% sugar or no sugar, as most things are already fairly sweet.

Serious complaint. Bad service quality! I ordered a large macchiato on March, 13, 2017 between 6-7pm. It tasted like water but it was too late to return it (I was at school and couldn't go back), but this is not my only complaint. There were three employees. Two asian employees (looked like chinese, cantonese or korean) were flirting with each other at the back. The girl (who was flirting) was also very unprofessional and offended me as she was talking about how "unhealthy" the drink was while she was making it. The third employee was polite and professional. Nothing against her. Please see the pictures below. Does this look like a matcha macchiato???

I had ordered a 3 guys with 30% sugar and no ice today. I don't know if it is supposed to be sweet or whatsoever. My drink is so sweet that even my friend said they can smell the sweetness of the drink.... I didn't report to the staff but just want to let you guys know this will cause a bad impression on me though.... ps. I have heard so many good comments on COCO, however, I felt disappointed for trying this drink as my first drink in COCO

Loveee Coco. It's just this location. There's always a line. The parking lot is very small and 9/10 times always full. Location is convenient, but its in a very busy area. Staff and service is mediocre. I prefer other CoCo locations, but this one is definitely convenient.

This place is actually pretty good ... funky little juice ... bubble and milk tea spot ... just off Lester and University, in the lobby of an apartment/dorm building. If you don't know about it, you probably won't find it. If you like these sorts of cool beverage joints, you'll love CoCo. With this being location #3317, they must be doing something right. Place has nice tea. Its a great place to have tea/juice in Waterloo. Only drawbacks are the descriptions of the drinks are quite small to read and there are not enough descriptions for the drinks. Thus, selecting a drink takes a while. Also the service is quite slow. During peak or close to peak, the time it takes for you to receive your drink takes too long.

Edit: They called me today to explain what really happened yesterday and apologized. It had nothing to do with the language - there was some miscommunication on their end. I decided to raise the stars I gave from 1 to 4 because they took customer feedback seriously. Also the QQ fresh taro milk tea was delicious. Original: The people who work at this location today are not very professional nor respectful in response to phone calls. At first I didn't know there's this app I have to download to place the order, so I called the store. The menu I found online has both Chinese and English in it so I asked if I can place an order in Chinese on the phone. Then the person who picked up the phone laughed really hard with their colleagues instead of kindly ask me to speak English because they only serve in English until I realized that they were laughing because I spoke a different language. I'm not sure what's so funny but it's definitely not a pleasant experience.

I go here all the time and never really had a problem until today when I ordered their special. The worker tried to hide the bubble tea that was preciously made at the counter when she checked the label if it had the same ice and sugar level as my order. It did so she called out my order number (#14) and placed my sticker over the previous one (Which was #83). I asked her when it was previously made..... Maybe I caught her off guard but she said a few minutes ago. I tried the bubble tea and it tasted watered down so I went back to get a new one made. They weren't very apologetic about it at all, the girl at the cash had to ask me if I wanted them to make a new one..... well obviously since you gave me one that had time to sit while the ice in it melted. Probably won't come here again unless the usual people I always see are working.

Top bubble tea for me in Waterloo. Taro specifically is where it's at, though I'm also big on lemon king and jasmine. In case you haven't tried bubble tea before, when they ask you about sugar and ice you might want less sugar and definitely want light ice.

I am a regular customer here, the services and drink quality are usually great. The only issue that I am experiencing is their employee Ryan, normally he's just very cold to customers, but what made me thinking that's not acceptable was that on Tuesday March the 24th, while I was waiting for my drink, he showed up to work with his huge bag dragged on the floor, and went into the counter area, then he managed to open his own food container and started to eat in the drink mixing area, while he still had half of the celery hanging outside his mouth, he was keep talking to the other employees who were mixing the drink at the time. I don't know if this violate the health regulation or not, but it's extremely disgusting especially when social distancing is enforced everywhere in the world right now.

This is one of my favorite places to go for bubble tea in Waterloo! I love the jasmine green tea! The staff are usually friendly and it is fairly quick for how busy it usually is. A few days ago I did get a really bad peach green tea that tasted super over-steeped. I had to throw it out unfortunatley. (This is my only bad experience so far)

The customer service at this location is completely unacceptable. The staff are rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. While asking for assistance on ordering a few drinks, the staff member gave attitude and showed a complete of lack of respect to me. He clearly didn’t want to be there. Don't go here during rush hour if you value your personal space. Absolutly no system of Uber pickup, so it's a dog fight of 10+ people literally brushing up against others just to say "oh I'm just coming to pick up". The workers there were probably tired but they need to speak up and tell people to move from the front area. Create a pick up line and an order line PLEASE because this was so infuriating and I still waited 20 minutes in store to pick up a drink I could see in front of me, yet I didn't want to be rude and run over others like some decided to. Super crowded and not worth it, so make an order before 5 or whenever Google says it's not busy. On their Bubble Tea: the most consistent Milk Tea I've had in KW so far but just keep in mind the regular sugar can be reaaaaly sweet. Flavour is great though!
