This is one of the best inexpensive grocery stores in Stratford. Always clean and bright with a great selection of products you may not find in other places. I particularly like the spices available here that don't seem available in other stores in town.

When buying fruit, strawberries, check the whole container. The bottom layer was fuzzy. Missed it. Other two containers were good. Learned lesson 45 minutes to return and 45 back. Will go to Mount Forest. When we are in Stratford, we will skip No Frills.

The cashiers went over and beyond. A disabled man was in line ahead of me. He was in a motorized wheel chair. They helped the man get his money out of his wallet, return the change and put his wallet away for him as the man was unable to do this for himself. They also packed his groceries into his bag on his chair. This was so heartwarming. With this type of service I will recommend this no frills to everyone.

If I could I would give them no stars. I have always bought my meat there in the past but this time I am just disgusted. Went to make dinner last night and found black dots all over our steaks and worms hidden inside the meat! I tried to call to complain and see what could be done about it but I have not heard anything back, nor did they apologize! Absoluelty revolting! Never again will I shop there! ????

Run by children. Every aisle you go down there are usually 3+ teenagers joking around and pretending to stock. I was also embarrassed to find that they don't take any visa cards. Left my whole cart load behind because after trying to navigate around their employees I wasn't waiting 30-45 minutes to transfer money back off of my credit card... 10/10 Will not shop here.

Stores nice the young lady that was working was more concerned about her convo with her co-worker than working but other than that the other staff were great! I originally gave 4 stars but the last 3 times going here the till workers on evening and weekends feel so entitled and actually huffed because she had to ring me through!! Ya not going again

Great store. I don’t think I have ever gone in for something I was looking for and found it out of stock. Very well staffed for a relatively small grocery store. Wait times are reasonable and cashiers are always smiling.

They are still open during Covide (even during this Stay-at-Home order). They have hand sanitizer as you enter the store. Masks are mandatory too. The place is large, so it is fairly easy to keep the 6' distancing.

I love the wooden interior design of the store that I think is unique to this location in Stratford. I really am not great at describing design so you would have to go & check it out to know what I mean. Customer was great as well.

I went here because my taxi said that he goes here to buy yogurt for his wife, because it's a really good price. And from what I seen everything here was priced pretty reasonably. Likely one of the better priced grocery stores in the area. I got what I was after for under $20 And usually it would of cost me at least $35 so I'm now shopping here as my regular go to for everything I need when grocery shopping.

I use the PC Express pick up method at this No Frills and I am impressed by their costumer service. They are very attentive, accommodating and nice. I was hesitating using the service because of the use of plastic bags, but they were able to replace those with cardboard boxes! The produce is always nice and fresh and they hardly ever run out of the stuff that are on my regular shopping list.

Inconsistent produce; some looked wonderful, some showed signs of spoiling. Mums out front for sale were wilted and tired. Rest of store was okay.

This store barely has variety of things if your trying to do a buy grocery load purchase. Their produce... Is not very fresh... Stale/old...bruised. Overall just go to the Food Basics or Zehrs instead.

I enjoyed my visit there. They had all I wanted and I love how neat and clean it is there. All the shelves are tidy and the workers are very helpful when you can't find something. I really love the 2 yr. old Canadian cheese they sell there as well. It is scrumptious !!????????????⚘

I moved to Stratford and its been one year since I've been doing my groceries here. I can't tell you how much I love it. The staff are really nice. They always have the best prices & produce is excellent. I look forward to doing my weekly groceries here. I have never met the owners - but they def know how to manage a grocery store. Keep it up!

On my first visit to the store I was impressed by its cleanliness and neatness. They had plenty of stock of the items on sale. The staff were genuinely friendly and there was no wait at the checkout. I will be a regular customer.

Can never use my phone to make calls, texts, use my PC card because the service/signals always drops, may missed points. Sometimes the k ly reason I go, just to be let down at check out.

Great prices and friendly staff make grocery shopping not a chore. Only issue is the lack of fruitare's banana flavoured ice cream pops. They tease us with an abundance sporadically and before you know it, they're nowhere to be found! Please bring back the fruitare banana flavoured ice cream pops! You do this, I'll be happy to add the fifth star to this review ???? For all other grocery shopping needs, this place has got you covered! Great place to shop.

Small & compact is how I would describe this place, but everything was very neat & tidy, & ppl were friendly! Was very impressed by the amount of stuff they had to think the building isn't bigger! They jam alot into a small space, & yet it didn't look cluttered cuz it was so neat!!!

I bought 2 Canadian Tire cards from No Frills Stratford and when I checked my receipt one scanned as an LCBO card. I went back to the store and they wouldn't refund the card even though it scanned as an LCBO card right in front of them again. They kept the card I bought and asked me to come back the next day. The next morning I tried calling customer service to call the store to see if the issue was sorted. They would not give me the store number or call the store to check for me. In the end I had to drive across town 3 times until they had the issue sorted. I got the replacement gift card but no compensation for having to drive 3 times across town (20-25min round trip). I know there is an issue with gift card fraud, but I had a legitimate issue and was treated like the problem was all mine. Customer service and store staff could have been so much more helpful...couldn't even give me the store number to call? Very poor customer service.

The store is always clean, staff are helpful and I LOVE that they price match...plus PC points too! Prices are also way more reasonable than Zehrs. My only issue is I wish that they would get a power cart as I have physical health challenges

Rude, don't price match a lot of stuff. No selection. Rotten fruit. Rotten meat. Not friendly staff. Gross store inside, gross bathroom. Not worth going here. If you want a no frill then this is the place. Just s expensive as any other grocery store.

Clean, bright and well laid out discount store. Prices are tough to beat. The loonie for the carts annoys me since I usually don't have one... but I can appreciate the concept and cart free parking lot. Bring back the recycled boxes in lieu of bags and I'll call it a 5 star.

I am rating this store with Craig and Jess as extremely poor because of the unethical way my son was treated in the very short time he was employed. He is a minor and has a non visible learning disability. My son was let go shortly after the old manager left. We had made several attempts through the new manager to speak with the owner Craig regarding his dismissal. We would have appreciated a call if he did something wrong they could have at least been explained. or have spoken to my son prior to his dismissal if there were any concerns or issues. They did not. As it seems there was a major communication breakdown with the new manager not given the information regarding his difficulties. All we were asking for is a phone call. We did not get it. This is something that should have been addressed as we want all youth to be treated equal and given a chance to succeed no matter what barrier they face. This is totally unacceptable to treat any young person in his first job. Can I say anymore?? how would you feel if your son was treated like this?

The store itself isn't too bad. Produce is usually fresh and priced well. My big issue is constantly having to shop around the employees. There are always many people stocking shelves and blocking traffic. Constantly having skids of product parked in the aisle ways blocking the way or having multiple employees stocking the same aisle way at a time. This forces you to have to wait and weave in and around things or people and with the covid rules and one way aisles it's nearly impossible to get through the store. Can't they stock the shelves at night time when you don't have customers in the store?

Best prices. Good selection, they always stock on Tuesdays. Line ups can get a lil crazy long but they tend to clear it up fairly quickly. It's my main grocery store.

When I entered the store, a teenaged cashier, who had a long line of customers in her aisle, nonetheless stopped everything to yell at me for not having my mask completely covering my nose. I was so offended that I immediately left the store, without making a purchase. She could not have acted this way, without the approval of the management. I will not return, even once things return to normal.

Store is clean...I was looking for the Campbell cheddar soup as we use it for when we have cauliflower....we pour the cheese onto it....shelves were full....the lighting was good in the store...the temperature of the store was perfect..not too cold but not stuffy...carts were clean

Generally pretty good. Not always the best prices in town, but they do price match if you're willing to do the work. Friendly enough staff. Lately we've been disappointed with meat that is spoiled long before it's best before date, usually chicken. Like... real bad, real soon. Too bad. They don't pay employees to collect carts, so they have customers put a loonie in to unlock them. You get it back when you return the cart to the door, but it's a hassle for people who don't carry cash/change.

I’m limiting my trips to the grocery store these days as everyone should be. I was surprised to see there is no wipes for the carts or hand sanitizer available for the costumers?? I see other grocery stores have it available or have a person wiping the carts down. We all have to do our part to help with to control the virus..

Love this store go every week to do my grocery shopping. Only complaint I have and I've told several cashiers this is that a lot of child safety buckles are broke or missing the latches. I usually have to look at a couple carts to find one that's in working conditions. Since you have to pay to get a cart you can't really pick through them all so a few times my daughter hasn't even been buckled it. Hopefully they can get these fixed then it'll be great :) No complaints other then that!

When I visit Stratford and need to get groceries this is where I go. The produce is always fresh and they have great deals. Just remember to bring a line because you will need this for a cart. You also pack your own groceries. So if you are unable to do this I suggest bring a friend.

This is my "Go To" grocrie store. I never have any complaints about the look of my produce or my bill. No fancy deli counter or bakery here but that is the point of "no frills" right ????????‍♀️ I am happy they are bringing in a health foods section, wouldn't mind seeing more verity in those products.

Tired of this store not having advertised sale products, I am a diabetic 2 times went there for diet coke 24s on sale and had none both sales time's heard same excuse, factory having problems. But they would not substitute 2 12 packs !! Yesterday coke on for regular price and had lots of it, tried to price match 2 items and had clipped the coupon out and was refused because I didn't bring the whole bulky flier in. Also the only store to charge for a buggy, have to look for a looney, will stick with food basics and keep my blood pressure down!!

During these times I would prefer to go to another store. All the cashiers not wearing masks today. They have a policy of not allowing two customers to pack groceries alongside each other even if they both have masks. But they will stand there and watch you delay the line instead of help you pack. I don't know why they have this rule but don't enforce their employees wear masks. I will be going elsewhere.
