This is a Norfolk County 'must visit' destination! Everything yummy and local is found at Wholesome Pickins! Great baked goods, fresh local produce/meat/cheese, local pantry items, 'ready to go' meals--you won't leave Wholesome Pickins empty-handed. Stop here almost every time we're heading down to the lake...Picard's chips, fresh fruit, pepperettes, salads, everything you need for a great summer day out on the water!

This was our first stop on a 2 day get away while seeing Norfolk ON . They had a really cute set up staged for the fall/ Thanksgiving/ pumpkin vibe with a pumpkin field very near by--great for pics. In terms of the product - they carried a few other well known brands but the items that they were selling themselves were not clearly labeled. There was no one in side to ask until much later when a lady came out - we explained that we were first timers and she said that they just don't put the pricing on anymore as they keep changing. I understand that but from a customer perspective we can't buy what we don't know.... prices seemed a bit high with overall limited "fresh baked" products. Perhaps it was an off day but we found some other better options in the area..... hope your experience is a bit better than ours.

This market is an absolute must if you are ever in the area the wide variety of fresh produce home baked delights and frozen entrees makes it desirable for any one. The pies are made with fresh in season ingredients and are some of the best pies I've ever eaten worth the drive people check them out

You cannot find a better market with quality products and friendly/helpful staff! They go above and beyond to make sure their products are the best offered and are eager to offer replacements if needed, ensuring customer satisfaction! There is no reason to go anywhere else to get delicious LOCAL produce and so so much more - seriously the bakery is out of this world!! The best place to shop in Delhi if you ask me!

This place has gone downhill big time. From the inflated prices, to the sanitary practices, to the unfriendly customer service. Was in here on one occasion looking to buy some local baked goods (muffins) and was appalled to see a long hair stuck to the muffin package. Gross! On another occasion I was looking to buy a fruit crisp and I saw one of the teenage employees opening the pie boxes, no gloves on mind you, picking fruit flies off the pies with her bare hands!!! If that isn't unsanitary to the extreme, I don't know what is. Will definitely not be returning ever again!

The home baked goods and the homemade salads are so good... creamy cucumber, potato salad, pasta salad. You haven't had a butter tart until you've had one from here! You can expect friendly staff, fresh fruits and vegetables, jams & jellies and a pleasant countryside shopping experience. 6 stars!

What a gem of a place in Delhi. Wonderful baked goods, cheese, groceries and amazing Altitude Coffee for sale. We get strawberries here every year and they are so good. If I lived in Delhi I would be here daily to support this amazing local enterprise.

Very disappointed. Half the Strawberry & White Chocolate cookies crumbled into a big mess. Looked like a bag of granola. Chocolate chip cookies were pretty stingy on the choclate chips. One of the muffins my husband got was uncooked in the middle. There was literally flour stuck inside not baked all the way through. We got a " rhubarb & raspberry crumble " too. We get rhubarb & raspberry crumble all time from other bakeries, but this one was just yuck :( The rhubarb seemed uncooked and it was extra tough. And omg sooooo sweet...way too sweet!! You couldn't even taste the raspberries or rhubarb or any tartness for all the sugar. The raspberry muffins were the only thing half decent. Sorry Wholesome Pickins. Won't be back. It's a shame as we frequent from scratch bakeries and not many are open Sundays around here. Hoped this was good so we could make regular trips out on Sundays, but unfortunately there were way too many issues with the products.
