I have been going to get produce from Matz when ever I am in the area. I am vegetarian so I really load up. I was disappointed this year when I visited. I spent upwards of $40 this time. The weather has been in the 38 degrees with humidity (drinking lots of water). They refused to let me use their bathroom and the asparagus was very woody. Not impressed.

Paid Premium price for first crop new corn July 15 / We ate the corn July 16 / This was not sweet tender "new" first crop corn. This was more like end of season corn. The kernels where large and tough like cow corn. Did not have the sweet taste of fresh new crop corn. Harsh taste like old corn. Actually it had and after taste, probably from chemicals to allow it to travel well. One thing I know from 60 years of tasting the first new corn > this was not that. Fool me once shame on you. You will not fool me twice > last time I stop here.

It is an enjoyable visit to buy fresh and organic produces. I am from Toronto and loved to have the.opportunity to buy their fruits. As most of their products are organic; they are priced accordingly. Yougurt and honey are must try. ☺

Bought a basket of peaches that were seconds, asked exactly what they meant by seconds. I was told it meant some blemishes. Took them home when I sliced into 3 of the peaches they were rotten. Took them back today for a refund or replacement was told , you bought seconds, too bad. Not the first time we have had a subpar experience with Matz’s. Always check your produce before you leave, buyer beware. Will not shop there again, ever.

Very nice farm store. Beautiful looking peaches (Red Haven free stone) field tomatoes, beans, apples, pears, and Sweet Corn. Definitely a nice place to shop.

Amazing quality produce! Absolutely the best peaches, apricots, cherries, and tomatoes around. Fabulous selection of veggies as well. My favourite place to go for produce.

This place has become ridiculous. I stopped by to see if they had pickling cucumbers. The sign out front said that they did. When I went to the counter the girl said that they only have single pickles for sale but no pickling cucs. But they could order some. That seems to be their slogan. In the height of canning season, they should stock veggies that are used commonly or stop advertising them. As this isn't the first time this has happened, I won't be going back.

Visit Matz for 1 dozen corn. Due to Covid setup, staff must select vegetables for you. When I got the bag, asked "is that a dozen?" Answer "yes". Drove 1 hr to a family get together. When started to husk the corn, there was 1/2 dozen. The person who served me seemed distracted by a couple that were maskless, that she seemed to know Very, very disappointing.
