As you can see it reaches an feddbacks average is very high, and it is based on a high number of opinions, so we can be pretty sure that the assessment is quite credible. If people have bothered to rate when they are pleased, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write evaluations when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Fruit Store corresponds to the category of Grocery store.
Limited selection (it's a No Frills), produce usually great quality, friendly staff try hard.
Horrible! Lots of flies (fruit and regular). Check expiry dates, I picked polenta that was expired in May! The other two packages seemed to have been frozen. You're taking your health in your hands when going here.
A very clean, organized and well stocked store!
So far good for grocery price is little bit higher on fresh vegetables. You can get South Asian spaices except coriander power. Caribbean spices are available as well.
Shopped there for years!! Especially with my kids who always loved adding things to an empty cart and loadinģ up non sense items!!! Putting it on the conveyor belt!!
This is a great local supermarket to do your weekly shopping. It is well situated on Eglinton between McAllen Danforth and Brimley with entrances from all three major streets. Lots of parking and they also put out boxes so you don't have to use bags. This is a pretty full store with everything other than a butcher shop and bakery. The prices are usually very very good and they have great weekly specials. They also provide the PC MasterCard points program. Staff are very pleasant and quick. I shop here regularly
Descent no frills at a very convenient location. Can get very busy on weekends, but generally no issues.
Much smaller location to a standard supermarket. Still almost all no name and no frills specials are available. Excellent location for public transit. Right on Brimley and Eglinton intersection. They carry smaller quantities so they run out of specials by the week end. On Mondays until the specials starts it's very quiet. Excellent staff and fast check outs.
Good place to grab all grocerys lot of parking space
Its nice place but not everything is available what I need but in general its good I loved it.
Most things available, but no visa Cc, cud sometimes be problem as unneeded to carry cash then
Very good people and cashier are friendly
Is very convenient because is closer to my apartment the only thing they have to get is better meats
Usually don't go to this No Frills and now I remember why. Picked up 2lbs of ground beef that I didn't realize was not properly refrigerated until opening it. Yuck
Expired items on the shelf .It becomes common to see in Scarborough like these.
Great location. The grocery store that my family grew up on and still continue to shop at. Sometimes lacking on certain products but still great. Cashiers are nice and layout is good. Clean.
Quite good. Well stocked. Disappointed over the produce and cheese selections. Great job on maintaining social distance. Was not prepared to put a quarter for the carts. Have someone, thought we didnt require it under the current COVID situation.
BEST grocery store I've ever visited... They rarely go out of stock for any item but even if they go out of stock, they refill it in no time .. it's the lockdown week going on.. but still they are having the supplies you need for your daily routine . They improved their services and security by encouraging social distance and more cleanliness... They deserve more than 5 stars...
Good quality produce and helpful staff. Usually well-stocked.
Very small no frills, intersection is crowded but the staff are nice and efficent, lines are long due to the small size of the building
Found all the items well organised and easy to find. The store has a wide variety of prodcusts available but the checkout system could be faster
One of my favorite grocery store to visit on a weekly basis. You'll have every you'll need at an affordable price. Enjoy !
This is a good grocery I like the fact they are catering for an assortment of different races and creed
Poor cashier service i bought 1 pineapple she charged me for 2 . I saw when i came home . Quite disappointing ????????
I don't like the place. Poor selection of foods and not very clean. Joseph No Frills on Kingston Road and Morningside is the best very clean and well looked after.
Less options and I felt that the prices are way too high than other No Frills. No self check out. Long queues makes life difficult.
I go here all the time, in the only thing I do not like about this place is the vegetables section. They are either never available or wilting most of the time. I like the fruits option. Fresh but expensive.
Worst no frills ever... I shopped at a no frills all the time back in Durham and I have never seen a store so poorly merchendised... Produce is mostly empty and awful selection for whatever is there... Its dirty and I will never step foot in there again... Stephen needs to pull up his socks and clean up his store.... Very disappointed because it is the closest no frills in my area...
Had 4 items and the do not have the 1 to 12 items checkout open on a Saturday afternoon. The rest of checkouts are all lined up. I put my items down and walked out
I have been to this location many times, the prices are nice and low, the products are great and so are the staff.
Most of the times the place is not clean. Dirty floor and shelves and all a bit messy. Today I found mouldy buns on a shelf. That No Frills has to have a huge renovation like the one at Dufferin Mall.
I only visit if they have a really great sale. Like most No Frills, it always looks dirty.
Not the biggest no frills but it's less crowded and usually all the pantry items are available.
To do grocery its not bad to visit this place! Few staff members are helpful most of them are not so friendly and helpfull! Thats why i dont visit this store anymore because usually you wont be able to find few items cause the staff is not stocking up the product! Anyway! Thank you
Constantly find food that expired over 2 weeks before i was in there. There are literaly only 5 good staff in that store. Its a mess, food is far from good quality produce has a lot of rotted food. They do not keep up well at that store. I baught a coleslaw that says it expires in 2 weeks. Got home and opened it it was brown. They really dont take care of there stuff.
It's a popular location amongst some buildings so it can get pretty crowded. Get here before 5 if you want to get the sale items.
I actually like that store before the workers were really rude and nasty but they got new workers but with the pandemic going on they don't have much of a selection and what is there isn't fresh but if you can find a good stock of bananas …
Can run into some interesting characters at this location. Not a lot of selection but you can get the basics. Pretty good discount shelf.
Great collection of groceries (you can get almost everything required for daily usage), low price, great quality, nice staff and last not but least, great location.
Nice and clean and friendly staff
A lot of stuff is expired bread on the shelf with mold Margarine in the big tub was expired Milk expired
I like this No frills location because its 5 minutes away from me. There usually stocked well. only issue is meat section sometimes it is lacking if you go there after 4:00 pm.
I wish Walmart or other great store will build beside this store so that we have a good choice to go for our grocery needs.
It is usually all stocked up but watch for the date of meat before buying
Affordable prices and friendly staff. Clean and spacious supermarket. Great shopping experience
Best prices, fresh veggies and Asian groceries
just like walmart ...good for purchasing grocery, meats, drinks...but If i have to choose between no frills and walmart i will go with later one
This is my regular weekly grocery store. It offers good and fresh variety of produce as well as other grocery items.
Not the greatest place and the selection is not as good as other No Frill. Wouldn't recommend
This is one of the no frills around bluffs and this has a bit more of Indian touch being closer to heart of Scarborough. This has a bit more of Indian grocery but the store is not well organized. I have found rotting produce multiple times at this store. Store has a lot of parking and there are a lot of other stores around. I would prefer Rob and Joe's store because of the well maintenance but if you are looking for Indian items then go to this store.
No que can shop in store numbers of point of sale..long que for check out very fast...chances of getting items on weekly sale...
It's a no frills grocery store where they keep discontinuing our favorite products. Not sure how long we will continue going here.
Very nice store, The goods are well arranged , whatever I need is available, get help quickly and the service from the staff inside the store is excellent .
Nice produce department...portabella mushrooms were big and fresh. The line ups were small and parking is free.
Small and some employees acting like police ,always staring and following
Good sales and some friendly staff, great place
I shop here because it's close and relatively cheap. But it's a little grimy, the produce is iffy, and they are often sold out of the flyer specials, and other common products. Sometimes they let the carts build up until they block traffic in the parking lot. There is always a line to pay, and recently the woman in line in front of me was told she would have to come back the next day because the duty manager couldn't remember how to do a price match.
Overall It is good...but sometimes the shelf are really empty which is irritating some time and also..but otherwise it is really good
Very good selection of groceries in a convenient plaza. Customer service is good, only complaint I have is when upon exiting there's bunch of homeless people bothering you for money which makes me want to avoid and go to another no frills
Low prices; fresh goods; a lot of choices; protocol for Covid followed.
Has a myriad of choices than other No Frills; was able to find pomfret fish in this location which is quite economical. Moreover, they tend to carry a lot of ethnic foods.
I think It's one of the largest nofrills in scarborough and you can find ur items easily with low prices in there.
Great deals on almost everything. Staffs are so kind and helpful????????????????????????????????????????
Nothing special about this location. It's the no frills of No Frills. Come here for No Frills, not #haulhard :)
Somethings are on sale they also have a sanitized area which is good ????
No frills never have my bread on Saturday or Sunday when I want to shop most of the time never have my milk either
Good selection but shelves can be empty quite often. They're also missing a few products like cranberry juice or certain pizzas. But overall good.
Good location in the heart of Scarborough at brimley and Eglinton. Lots of free parking. The usual food located here at the lowest prices. Friendly service.
The layout in here is different but the concept is the same Come in Get your groceries go home …
As usual this is No Frills is as good as others No Frills out there in Toronto especially in Scarborough Area. The only thing is small compare to the one we visit normally near Victoria Park Ave
Good for on the go if you live in the neighbourhood. Limited selection of goods, so do not expect higher end items.
Large store with good selection but on 2nd day of specials, many items low...store needs to limit purchases.
Supermarkets full of variety of foods, spices, vegetables, meats, fish and many other stuff. Not too crowded. Lots of parking. Affordable prices. I rated 4 stars because I had missed some red potatoes in a bag.
I love this no-frills because of all the price matching that you can use at the check out. Staff very friendly, helpful. Love the prices. Fresh fruit, vegetables and meat ????. Try it out you can't go wrong. Bathroom excess.
Give money get thing, very good.
Good selection and friendly staff! Garrett has been there forever and he's honestly so helpful and such a nice person!
Not as well stocked as other stores. Perhaps due to its smaller size.
Very supportive staff
Good sales on rice and other basics sometimes. Some of the produce is not always fresh, particularly the tomatoes, garlic and peppers. I've had bad experiences with the "cook today" 30% off meat, and generally stick with the grain-fed or halal options, which are always fresh.
Great selection and variety. Store is well organized. Plenty of free parking.
Very clean and well organized. Cashier was friendly and fast. Good selection of products and prices were very reasonable. Good size parking lot and easy access from both sides of the building.
When it comes to product availability it's good. Also the social Distancing is good outside with security guard hve control on how many people can go in. But I find that depends on the day or time some people respect ur space but weekends and after 5pm is get crowded.
Every time I have gone to this location the shelves are empty and what is left is disgusting. Last time I will ever be coming to this location again. Horrible store and very dirty
Good spot for groceries, some ommisions compared to other no frills locations but overall a very good choice.
Didn't find any deals at all and everything is so expensive compared with the Wal-Mart next door.
It's OK, could look cleaner
Always a great pleasure to shop at No Frills. The store is well organized and clean. Easy to place to do grocery shopping
Store is filthy, outdated and is in desperate need of renovation. Feels very cramped as they are packing a lot of selection into a medium sized store. Constantly sold out of common products ie. coffee cream. 2 stars for ok prices and usually having a decent amount of registers open.
Good place to buy veggies but only during weekend... otherwise they sell old stuff (Veggies and fruits).
Clean, and well-organized. A bit on the small side though.
No bitter experience. All went well with my visit.
When I used to live in Toronto, I would go to Stephen's No Frills frequently right in busy intersections of Eglinton and Danforth! There is everything you need! Well-stocked! Great place for grocery shopping! Very tidy and clean! Organized! Spacious! Helpful and courteous employees! Great customer service! ????
Very unhelpful employees. When I repeatedly asked for help I was given what you might call "figure it out yourself" answers. "If you don't see it, we don't have it". Aren't employees supposed to help you find things since they presumably know where they are? My blood was boiling.
Bad service. Dirty store. Go to different No Frills that is cleaner and friendly.
Worst nofrills ever it's like going to a food bank. Poor selection, items past expiration, produce don't even thing about it.
As the store implies, no frills. Basic groceries and shopping needs are met. If you’re looking for a wide variety of fruits and organic options you won’t find them here. If you’re just looking for basic cheapo ingredients you’re at the right place.
The staff don't move fast enough especially when its a busy day
Clean and organized place. The cashier who served me today was very nice even she helped me to know how to get points
I've gone here 4 times to get a 2 litre bottle of Coke (amongst other things) and 3 times they didn't have any. Dirty store too, almost as if the owner doesn't really care.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Place was clean and well stocked.
On the smaller side but still managed to find most deals from the flyer. Organization could be improved.
My boyfriend would like to make a complaint. Came in sat, Nov, 13 4:30pm. All cash register was full except for the express lane. Every other cashier was busy, lined up to the back...manager older, heavier set white lady was behind the …
Same as every other No Frills store. However this place has almost doubled prices recently. Not the cleanest appearance either.
Well stocked competitive pricing, helpful staff
Some of the staff were very helpful, others couldn't care less if they helped or not
Worked for this company from 2013-2021 Walked Away after being under paid and under appreciated. Wrongful Termination on my last paystub…synonym also known as Over qualified. “TERMINATED”
The store prices are reasonable; for food ???????? that will spoil in a week.
It's a great location for shopping. The buses are 24 hr and runs frequently. Stephen's No Frills is 10 mins away from Kennedy station and approx. 16 mins to warden station.
1st November I went in for the specials on the first day. Spent money on 2 bus fares and they didn’t have the potatoes. What is the point of advertising a special and not have stock. It is unfair to your customer loyalty or does customer loyalty not matter. Also no rain checks given. We will do our shopping elsewhere Saturday 29th September,2018 Just came back from no Frills. I had left my non stick baking sheet at the till on Friday. Paid $2. Came to pick it up anfd buy 2 more. Got home and used them and discovered that I was charged $9.99 each. I think that is disgusting. I called the store and was told it went up. I don't trust No Frills and that is not the first time I was charged more for an item. There was not a price on the stand of the cooking Sheets. They really cheat their customers and take the Frill out of shopping there. That is whay they call it No Frills good specials I just came from no frills Kennedy and Eglinton. Margarine was 75c This store is $2.47. I spoke to the manager and he gave me a while long story and would not meet the price. Very poor customer service to a loyal customer. Now I know I should shop elsewhere July 30th. Just came from the store . 5th time since the flyer was out. They advertise items and do not have stock. It is getting annoying. I spoke to the manager who was also not interested. Blames the warehouse. Staff are rude. I asked for a rain check and never got one. I called Loblaws head office and same story. Got nowhere. This company needs a completely new management and sort out their stores. I have been in the food business since 1970. Managed large supermarkets in South Africa. The first thing and most important thing is to see that all advertised items are in stock and not to run out. I guess that a third world country runs their stores and give better customer service than a 1st world country. Come on Loblaws and Canada. Get with the program. It is disgusting to have so many incompetent staff and management and nobody really cares about the clients. I went into the store last Wednesday. There was a big display of juices. I wanted to buy some. No price. I asked the staff member how much for the drinks. He said its for the sale tomorrow. So I can't buy it on Wednesday. You lose customers and sales. I shop a lot now at Freshco and Food Basics. Much friendlier and always have stock. Your store looks like you going out of business.
Clean place. Convenient place to buy some groceries.
Wont beat the price ! Thats true... Groceries are always in good quality and sometimes will get a good deals too..
Vegetables were not so fresh. Most veg baskets were empty on a weekend morning.
Its good store to do grocery.... I prefer this and freshco....
Friendly staff and fast service. I don't have to wait long for my turn.
take a detour, u-turn, don't go at all ... this No Frills is the WORST No Frills I have been to.. no stock, always low on meat, everything is always "sold out". Coming from one of the BEST No Frills (Dickie's @ Golden Mile) they should close this one down. great spot for condos..
About as good as you're going to get in Canada but they still need to sharpen their pencil much better at least 30 to 40% across the board and still make a healthy profit prices are still really high.
Just left this location. Needed something quick for lunch so bought the lobster flavor pollock. I notice tye taste was off. I am driving while eating. Once I get to a stop I look at expiry date. Today is Dec 7th 2021. This package expired OCTOBER 19 2021. Almost 2 months ago. I am beyond disappointed and disgusted.
Awesome store everything is available in this store and also good quality and offers.
Ew.. I'm 22 years old and I vowed when I was 12 to never waltz in there ever again. I happen to be the are the other day on New Year's Eve so I thought why not it will be a quick moment and hey, maybe they finally cleaned up the place... Nope.! As soon as I walked in I see a mad dirty floor but the one thing that bugged me the most was the smell.! How can you shop at any grocery store with that downtown rotting food sewage smell.?? I find this location VERY unkept and of course there is flies dancing about on all the fruits and vegetables. I dropped my basket after the grape section and quickly walked to Rob's No Frills over the bridge at Kennedy and Eglinton, the one I've been going to straight for the past years because it has the best service and is clean.! Stephens's No Frills I CANNOT believe they are still in business and smells like that.. I don't trust getting food here.
It’s the No Frills I always go to because it’s walking distance from my house. I love that I can collect points. One of their staff is always singing????. The only thing is when there’s a sale and things run out that’s it. That sucks. I love their discounted area I always find something in that section for 50% off. Don’t sleep on that section folks.
I live close by. They run out of stuff. Probably should be bigger or another grocery store in this fairly dense area. It's a no frills. Average location. Decent size. No butcher or deli.
The good: the staff are extremely friendly. The cashiers are always fast and plenty. The bad: the produce is often sold out or rotten. You need to really check expiration dates on pantry items because they don't pull them from the shelves.
Untrained & inexperienced cashiers. Store completely mess-up and poor performance in all. No more grocery shopping at this store.
Good place to buy food at comparatively cheaper rate. Employees are nice too. What bothered me is that they spread cat litter on spilled oil to prevent falling. Unfortunately, the dust rising from the cat litter made us difficult to breathe. Hope, next time, they will handle such situation following the safety of themselves and the customers.
Hey Stephen, educate your staff in customer service, I will leave it at that!
Usual No Frills experience. Organization of dairy products seemed a bit haphazard.
Good collection of asian groceries but somehow I feel like this store is lacking some good bright light.. it always looks dim inside..
Products are fairly priced. Produce are ok. Staff needs to do more deep customer service training. After all, it is customer based, so service is important.
South East Asian foods available. Fresh vegetables. Lots of parking. Only accepts MasterCard..
Store is clean, staff are courteous and most importantly, goods are cheaper than other stores
Distancing policy is well implemented. Shelving layout at the back is prone to cart collision. The geometry is bad. Sale items are quick to disappear. Availability of basic and intermediate needs products are good though.
Pure grossity. Not sure if there is a thing called dirty but apparently there is They say ,and I quote. There is no shame in being poor , but there is in being dirty
Can get good selection and stock here time to time with some great in-store specials.
Always friendly helpful staff to assist been shopping at this store for 15 years now.
Loyal customer service, always visit this place
Very busy not enough cashiers and the item I specifically went for was out of stock
Good place to have all groceries under one roof
This is No Frills closest to me. The people in there are very friendly. Most the time it's not too busy although I have been in there and been in line for 10 minutes. The cashiers are pretty quick and smart. I never have any issues when I go there.
Same as it was 15 years ago. No big changes to anything in that store. Fruits and veggies still look old and dried up but closest place for locals to do their grocery shopping.
The place has its own charm...been shopping here for years and still go back. Don't expect the same selection as a SuperCenter though...and if a fight breaks out at the cash register, just accept it as part of the stores charm!
Disorder, not welcoming from the outside of the building the carts are all over the entrance to the store. The inside of this store badly needs a makeover. Ecpired dated and bad food with mole on the shelf for sale. It is so disgraceful to the customers. The health inspector needs to pay them a visit.
Its medium size store with more than enough parking and about 8 counters for billing..i could find more choices of fruits compared to the one i have close to home and the food handling i dont see as if this store got ppl to fill up the empty shelves..came across empty shelves for milk, toothpaste and yoghurt (for what i was looking for)..
I went there for the first time with my friend even though its close to my house. Its so nice and clean. Cashiers were friendly and service was fast.
Good selection. The fruits were much better (fresh) than some of the other No Frills I've been to
Worst No Frills ever. Rude staff and they never have any of the sale items, go to Kenway Plaza. It's smaller but at least they have sale items.
I go to this no frills for emergency when I can make it to my regular No Frills, but this one is very complicated everything is all over the place so hard to find stuff.
This place has always fresh vegetables and wide varieties of fruits. Good staff, clean washroom. Buggies available at 25 cents on refundable basis.
Has a lot of varieties in terms of the groceries. The staff is friendly and quick as you can expect from a Nofrills. They always have good offers and they are pretty clean. Only issue, the washroom is not maintained well. They need to clean up the walls.
Wow! They actually had all the sale items in the flyer I wanted in stock. And this was on the fourth or fifth day of the sale. This is an organized No Frills store.
Good store. Staff helpful. Lots of cashiers open. Clean. Good fresh produce.
This location is terrific! Public transit is close by and it's near a major intersection. I was able to find everything that I needed easily and quickly. I'm very pleased!
No line when I got there but was one when I left at 5:40 pm. Not overly busy. Aisles navigatable. Have re-tooled the dairy area. Had most things except large instant coffee. Some sale items - blueberries - low quantity. Did have a sign up that all eggs were sold out.
Dark and dinghy. Horrible meat section. Couldn't imagine doing groceries there. Only use as my corner store. In and straight out.
Lots of parking, but not the greatest No Frills. It is remote, no other business attached. Just a strip mall on one side across the street and a Shoppers Drug Mart across the street to the south. Smaller than the Cedarbrae Mall one, it shows by having a much smaller selection, less stock of popular items that seem to sell out faster, and it gives you a 'this store is tired and needs a refresh' feeling when you walk in. Good luck finding a basket. Staff are not quick at bringing carts from the cart area of the parking lot back into the store, so we often have carts blocking a lane of traffic in the parking lot as a result. Needs much work. Perhaps, two stars over three, except they have adequate amount of friendly cashiers to make the trip a bit quicker.
The price are good but not always and most of the time the people who work there are very helpful ????????????
Good space, need more south Asian and halal items
Quite big with more stock compared to other no frills
Good travel agency ????????????????????????????????????for me ????????????
More space and large area....more sale products...
Decent store. Stock was pretty good. Staff was friendly. Could be cleaner though but it's Saturday of a long wknd so it's understandable.
Always have something on sale and all the sales items are runs out on the same day the sale started. Big parking. Garden center provides most wanted plants.
All the employees there are very helpful and also I have seen the level of hardwork they do by placing all the items for us . Also the assist is in a very polite manner and when we don't know about any item that where to find then also they show us that thing
Good choices of groceries. Very reasonable price. Lots of free parking, convenient location.
Shelves are always empty. Bought some pillers sandwich meat January 30 went to open it and got rotten meat and the best before date was awhile away taking it back. Won't but pillers meat anymore.
One freezer had thawed and re-freezed product it was cut spinach which I did not want to buy. The store should ensure that it does not allow this to happen.
Although I live close to this location I usually travel to other locations (Markham Rd & Lawrence or Sheppard & Kennedy) to get my grocery needs for the simple reason that thIs location is TERRIBLE AT RESTOCKING THEIR SHELVES. Many of the times the produce are down to a handful and I found that the few that are left are usually the really “bruised” ones it ones with fuzz frowning. Staff are friendly and helpful, it’s fairly clean and well organized in my opinion for small store but I think is they worked on restocking their shelves they would have better success.
They used to spray the veggies with chems to keep them fresh looking longer. I asked a few months ago and was told they only mist with water. So I've tried a few things for reactions and so far not bad. Just not as fresh as Tops . They put their greens on ice....
It's good overall, but many times it gets out of stock for different items, which is unavailable for that whole week then.
Early morning visit to Stephen's No Frills was a treat. Fruits and veggies were fresh and the store was very clean and the Cashier was very pleasant!
Not enough lactose free items. Staffs are friendly. Wait time is less. Products are displayed neat and orderly.
Visted on Sunday March 7th 2021 around 4 pm. Saw a lady without mask talking to the express cashier. After that the lady without mask was roaming inside. I went to that cashier and asked her that why in the middle of the pandemic they are allowing people without mask, it's a threat to the safety of other customers like me. If it's like that we need to inform Toronto public health . The express cashier told me, you can complain to Toronto public health. Such a bold answer, is it a smart answer in this pandemic time ? I am speechless. I felt this nofrills doesn't care about public health by laws.
This location is good smaller than the other stores but clean and fresh produce etc, but they need to open more lanes because it is very busy and not many cashiers at busy times.
Great staff. Very helpful. Just wish their prices on kraft cheese and breaded fish would be better ie. More sales on those items would be greatly appreciated.
Don't get good choice of vegetables after 6. Some products are out of stock too.
First of all its convenience that I need to walk only about eight minutes from my house I am happy with the availability of many products I wanted frequently with reasonable prices. Overall the convenience of being able to peruse the expansive products available, clear descriptions and decent pricing has been great.
Clean but slow check out
Its an okay store. You can get cheap and good stuff. Need to improve on store outlook and cleaning.
Way bigger store than Kingston Rd & Midland Ave with a lot more selection good layout
Great selections and helpful staff. I would not recommend buying meat at this location, the freezers barely produce cold air. Most of the meat is thawed out. Btw watch out for the pick pocketers.
I went there to buy vegetables that were advertised in the flyer. The spinach, cucumbers and tomatoes were good, but the rapini was wilted. This is often the case with some of their veggies.
It needs some renovation. It looks abandoned
I live close by the store but prefer to drive to other No Frills locations. This store does not worth the time. Poor variety, bakery is not fresh.
Close to my place, staff are freindly but usually they run out of inventory. Limited produce. I hope they look after those issues.
I live on Kennedy near eglinton. I drive by that no frills and go to Stephen's. Much cleaner, better stocked, far superior.
Lots of stock %90 of the time
It's a great store clean, friendly staff, helpful staff, ???? environment and have instock what I'm looking for thank you
Really good prices, fairly organized, no self checkout and some of the employees are rude. Emphasis on some because there are wonderful people working there too. (Or maybe I caught someone on a off day)
It's a smaller No Frills store then some, but the place is clean and the staff friendly. Because of the limited size there is a limited selection of fresh produce. However some of the items that are supposed to be on sale for PC Optimum members are not discounted when you scan your PC Optimum card. There also seemed to be some items that maybe spoiled, but not passed there expiration date that are being sold. I've purchased a number of different condiments that did not taste right from this location, but tasting fine from other locations.
Not recommended to go there as the place is nasty, disorganized, and staffed with 3 ADHD people. They simply don't care, and there is no real EVALUATION to check what the staff are doing.
Only issue I find with that grocery store is their quality of fruits and vegetables. They lack in that department. Never fresh. Looks as if they been on the shelves for weeks.
Rye lite bread was in the dis count rate for 2.77 but the cashier did not agree for that she went personally shown but telling different story ie. The price is for small bread.
Well stocked store and also large in size, meaning you'll get what you need. Value for money.
Good Collection of grocery items at your neighboring No Frills. Conveniently located between bust stops, you can take many buses to get there. Big parking lot in front of the store. Affordable price for most items. Friendly and helpful stuff
Love this this store, convenient location with tons of parking.....Always find the great in store deals......
Needs a face lift and cleaning. You can find most things here. Customers didn't really care about social distancing.
Had most of the products I wanted and some surprises too. I haven't 'the ben able to find Macain spicy spirals fries for ages. They had a supply there today! I did a happy dance. As per my norm I spent over what I had planned for but only $10.00 so not do bad. I will use everything I got. Checkout was very courteous and friendly. The store set up made was very great and made everything easy to find. The fresh produce was great today. In The past I have found it lacking but up to par today.
Not able to find all the merchandise, I needed. Employee was talking on phone while stocking the items.
The store is nice but the cashiers are slow and always to busy talking to each other
This was a very good place to shop but recently in the last 4 weeks it seems the shelves were not stocked and it was a mess. The produce were missing and quality seem to decrease. Take note on the expiry dates when choosing products.
this store is a 10-15 minute walk from my house; staff is friendly and all and it's well organized. only problem I have is that i've made four trips in a row in the past two weeks and they still don't have cilantro :( we've had to go elsewhere
Old place but good choice of food items with reasonable prices
Crazy busy, but the staff were super helpful. It's Christmas so I expected it to be packed, but it was clean and as I said, the staff were great. Prices are good , it's a No frills lol.
Our favorite no frills because it's big clean and well stocked. Service is not too bad.
Decent deals and products at fairly low prices, produce prices and markdowns are good depending on when you go, mostly helpful and friendly employees. Thier is a bathroom which is in okay condition, usually stocked and clean.
This is the closest No Frills to me. I shop there a lot, always good sales. Staff are very nice.
A bit slow at the cashiers, could use a few more during peek times
In the past I wrote a review about how this store was lacking main products such as ground beef for ex. Let me tell you that ever since the Covid-19 pandemic, things have turned around 180 degrees. I can now count on the store to get …
Well specials gone so fast. Otherwise not bad. Good prices.
Good little grocery store normally always stocked, but sometimes lacking on some items on sale
good one! just few minutes walk from my home, you can everything you need for the grocery, staff are nice and polite, its clean and organize
Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The owner of this place should work on promoting a culture in his store that a customer is a privilege and not a burden. Start with some remedial customer service training for your cashiers Diane …
Too busy. Lots of products. Good prices. Quìck moving lines. Very accessable.
Well.....i plowed snow outside of it at 3am......but from the outside it looked pretty dang clean and had some really good looking food there. Ill shop there why not
One of the worst place. When ever you go there most of the stuff are not there. Always empty. Dave no frills is one of the best!!!
STAFF was RUDE!!!! Came back for refund the spilled milk and the lady that I asked for help was extremely RUDE! Happened twice to me that it makes me very upset!! Will never going to shop here again thou it's a walking distance !!!! So RUDE! Been loyal to this store for 3yrs definitely know their faces and didn't know that when you approach her she was RUDE
Horrible. No sanitizing, dirty, terrible design. Will not shop there again.
Was not at Stephens no frills
Small store. They don't seem to carry enough inventory on some items ie cat litter. Staff is very helpful and there to answer questions. Like all No Frills they don't have very much if you're price matching.
Some the produce , product are not fresh. I prefer to go all the way to golden miles nofrills instead.
I like the staff. Except for the Afro-American girl with dreads...extremely rude every time i deal with her. I stay away from her cash. Store shelves empty alot
I would shop there again
I mean guys it's no frills. Cheapest groceries in downtown Scarborough. Great environment, great staff.
Fruits and veggies are fresher than a lot of other No Frills I've been to. Was there on a Saturday and the line looked long, but went super quick. Didn't have to wait at the cash at all. No pharmacy and doesn't have a full selection. But was clean and organized well and had what I needed.
Best price. Good organic selection.
Great location...large store that stocks just about all the grocery items you might need..
AMAZING helpful staff at this No Frills ! The produce guys are so helpful and Mike, in the bread dept. The store is clean and neat and always well stocked. I shop here a couple times a week because I am shopping for my family as well …
It's No Frills right. It's adequate. Often fresh meat section is not replenished and seriously lacking. I do not buy bread or any muffin or pastry type things here as I have had moldy items in the past and didn't realize it. Just check as you shop to ensure it hasn't gone bad.
Wonderful shopping experience. Our cashier was friendly and helpful. An organized store. Thanks.
They always run out of most sales items. I had to go back 3 times and they still didn't have what I was looking for.
Excellent serves and accommodative hospitality. keep it up.
They are usually low in stock on many products by the time that my family and I swing by for some evening groceries. However, their staff are quite friendly here.
Adequate....if you wanna line up for a hour with all the sale items out of stock and have people feeling up your backside every two seconds
This is my Regular grocery store and I love it
convenient location, great staff, and easy to navigate.
Nice place, have almost every grocery you need but they need to stock parmasian cheese and mackerel fish.
Usually has sale items available
Long wait to check out. I did not see anyone sanitizing the trolleys
So I have been noticing that this no frills in particular has alot of the same ongoing complaints on here and I agree with most of complaints that are on here. First of all there is expired food on their shelves frozen and dry food. I'm am not happy with this and just fed up with this grocery store. At times I come home with frozen expired food that are from two months ago and that I sometimes forget to check before I purchase. I really would like to see less expired food on their shelves. Also for this year as well the pumpkins that were at Stephens no frills were rotten and just within the two weeks they have had them. I come home and open to find that not just one pumpkin but many were turning black inside them and I have bought like 6 pumpkins both small and big. To add on to this in the last two months I have been seeing on the shelves of fresh products that were opened and left there. Not sure if it is a customer issue or employee issue . Also I have been to Rod and Joe's no frills and I find that the selection of food is better in quality (more presidents choice items) and variety, very well stocked for vegetables , better meat selection, frozen food as well and very neat tidy, organized( all these things that Stephens no frills does not have). When turkeys are available they have fresh and frozen turkeys. It's too bad that it is a bit of distance from me. During holiday season Stephens no frills is not even decorated like rod and Joe's during Christmas season as well as any other time where I walk in and the fresh produce isnt well stocked.I'm just saying that appearance does help and feel a bit more welcoming. Anyways hope this review helps.
I Shop here all the time Had a Bad experience yesterday The Cahier Wouldn't Give Me the Price Match On My Orange …
Just crazzy, worst than the zoo. People every where, long long lineups to pay. What's really going on. if you haven't call on Jesus to save you, then please do so. We cannot take anything with us, except Salvation John 14: 6 & 7.
They only price match with Food Basics, Freshco, Real Canadian Superstore, Metro and Walmart.
Hey today around 7:50 or 8:00 pm me and my friends went to this store to buy some groceries while checking out for the very first time at this store I faced such a problem. There was cashier name Jade, she didn't what hell is called customer service. She didn't know how to talk to customers. Honestly she was so rude, I don't whats wrong with her attitude. Its been 1.5 years have been shopping at that store almost every week. But this was the worst cashier have ever met. I seriously don't want to see that crazy stupid girl again next time otherwise won't shop there again
I wouldn't give this place half a star, sadly I have to give it something as no stars isn't a choice.the store is disgusting, in the milk section there is mold growing. The store looks so dirty.
I found most of what I wanted staff is very friendly
My experience at especially this no frills have always been excellent. People are very helpfull one jentleman. I think he is the manager not sure.
Okayish collection of grocery. It’s clean and the cashiers are good this location. Wish they offered more variety of products. Overall good.
horrible customer service. Cashiers have way too much attitude and no manners. Wont admit to their mistakes and will turn around and blame you.
Went for a quick stop on this branch today. Lots of new deals. Bought on sale stuff. Great value! Not busy during the time of visit.
It needs to update that store is old they cannot carry a lot of stuff so my review is to tell loblAws tear it down & rebuild including shoppers drug Mart
They keep a lot of expired food on the shelf, and not recent expired food. Staff are nice, but I'm sick of putting expired food on the floor to watch staff put it back on the shelf.
Very Very good nice clean and big easy to shop big parking
I shop at this location all the time. Wonderful staff always have what I need. One thing I would like to see the one dollar sale more often. Thank you heather
Still not much of an improvement. still has very little stock at the beginning of a sale and never seem to replenish sale items during the week. At least the rude owner isn't around much any more staff moral has improved But I would still recommend going to the store at cederbrae mall much better run store
Not very clean. Really need to check anything that is fresh to see if any of it is rotten. A lot of times when there is a sale they either have very little amount or none at all.
Place going downhill. First thing in the morning at opening, the shelves are untidy, empty. Cashier rude. Find another location as this was a good store for many years. Too bad.
Store was clean, but really not that busy except for the long lines at the cashier.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Follow covid 19 rules.
Many specials were gone I really hate that have to go on internet to get info and then it's not on that page
Great no frills, always has amazing deals and exceptional service.
