I just bought old fashion bacon. Went to go open the pack and there is human hair vacuum packed in the bacon. No refunds at this time. So I can’t get an exchange. Tried calling PC. Offered me $10 gift card. Bacon was like $12. PC customer service was not helpful and basically said too bad. Check all packages from PC as there might be hair in it. We then called the store. The store manager Brian was sorry and explained that even though they did not make the bacon in the store, he was going to replace it.

Sunday after 9am. One poor cashier doing her best as the only cashier & also customer service. 5 of us in line (express) with a few items behind a couple with 2 full carts. Great store (5 star) if management wouldn't set their cashiers up to get grief.

This is a great grocery store with a unique feel to it, because it is unique! The best part is, you are in Toronto but it has a small - town feel to it. Bigger than it looks! The last time I was there I heard one of the staff say "thanks for shopping here!" Terrific! Great produce, bakery, deli...the whole store is the way it should be.

Super friendly staff, good selection of groceries. Expensive compared to no frills or food basics but not crazily so. Don't make this your first choice for all groceries but don't hesitate to pop by for small visits. No complaints beyond wishing food was cheaper - but that's hardly the staff's fault.

Great, nice and clean. Vegetables and fruits never seem fresh though, or they always go bad really quickly I find. Buy those somewhere else. Also, the prices are higher than elsewhere.

I know it's a tough time these days and that tensions are high but I really didn't appreciate the attitude of the young cashier who outright called me a liar because she wanted to leave and not paying attention, nor do I appreciate being told me to hurry up with my packing when I'm reviewing the bill for accuracy. Your usual staff are always so pleasant. This is not the time to disrespect your clientele. We are all relying on each other. If staff need more breaks please allow them more breaks.

Great staff, clean and well organized. This is a great place if you just need to grab something quick but I can not recommend this store for your weekly load of groceries. This store is VERY expensive. The exact same items can be purchased at many other stores for literally 30-40% less. I can only assume that because of it's location they can get away with it, or they need to because of the rent. Either way, the cost goes to you the customer. Nothing bad to say about the place or staff, just comes down to being grossly more expensive than other stores.

Reckless Endangerment! Physical distancing is not being practiced by staff at the store. Staff were not wearing masks. They were filling online orders recklessly, moving in and out of shoppers' personal space so quickly, people could not maintain proper physical distancing. The third time one of the staff members moved into my space I reminded her of the six-foot regulation, to which she replied, "Are you serious? I work here." She seemed to believe that being an employee of the store made her immune to the new safety regulations, in spite of the posted signs. I wonder if management has failed to explain the serious nature of a pandemic or if this employee is confused. If you or someone you care for is in the high risk group for Covid 19 I suggest you avoid this store.

This location is clean and the staff are friendly. However the prices are very expensive. $2.99 for a cucumber? Produce selection could be better as they know downsized to two less produce benches by the front entrance.

Also the teen female stock staff was also rude when I asked where an item was she said rudely I have no clue but thankfully the male teen staff was very helpful

I like to think of this place as a mom and pop shop owned Loblaws. The inventory of goods isnt as massive as its competitors (No Frills, Fresh Co. Food Basics) so you typically wont always see specialty items but it still has staple items like fish,breads, meats, milk, veggies etc. The store hours are earlier and much later than its competitors (pre covid) and most of the staff members happen to now know I am a regular lol. Prices are a little higher but I get to shop in an environment that isnt as congested as the competitor grocery chains.

This Ali's a clean store with a good variety. Strong sanitation. Prices are equivalent to Sobeys and metro. However most of the fresh produce we bought had to be thrown away within days of purchase. Very disapointing I we will not go back.

Location is fairly clean and staff pretty helpful and friendly. There is a good selection of products so plenty of choice available. A bit overly priced on some of the products but it is the only grocery store in the immediate vicinity so it is convenient. Veggies and fruits are always in better condition than other stores

My star rating is based solely on the quality of produce. Every single time I go in there for cherry or grape tomatoes each container contains a rotten one. It used to be that this location was my go-to for produce but within the last few years it has gotten worse and worse as prices began to rise. On the same note the meat is the same, they leave it on the shelf full price until the last minute so unless you are shopping to consume immediately or to freeze, I wouldn't bother. That being said, the staff (particularly the deli) are amazing, they are always kind, patient, and talkative. It is unfortunate the current owner has let the quality slip. It is cheaper to order your grocieries delivered from Walmart or no frills, and they last MUCH longer than it is to shop here. Quality used to be worth it but unfortunately it is no longer the case. I avoid coming here at all costs..because it will certainly cost you.

This is a fairly small grocery store not ideal for shopping during Covid Pandemic. The staff are friendly However there are little to no control on certain days on amounts of shoppers in the store at same time or Covid protocol. Don't shop for seafood here as products are limited and very old. I stopped going here as I had an encounter months ago with another shopper over Covid Protocol and the staffs reaction was lesser fair.

I feel bad about this, the employees are great, friendly and helpful! You have to really watch the date on items at this store often expires next day (for spinach and salad) which would usually be 6-8 days at any other store. Also one week they have Fuji apples the next they don't, one week they d'anjou pears the next weeks the don't.... Every other store manages to keep stuff in stock. They deserve a 5 for their employees, but 1 for quality control. Too bad...

This store is very over priced and most of the food expires within two days.. always check!! Most of the staff working are nice but there are two lady's that work the cash that have quite a bit of attitude with me every time I checking out.im not sure if it's the way I look or some vibe I put off but it's unpleasant to have to go through this every time!! This store is ok but need alot of work with management and customer service

This is a great spot for groceries. The store is clean and the staff are friendly. I never have to wait in line here. It's a quick and convenient place to buy groceries. It's a bit expensive compared to some other options but you do get a nice shopping experience and their bakery, deli, produce, and meat are all good.

Unfortunately this has happened enough times now that I must comment on it: The "Express" checkout (12 items or less) regularly has people in it with well over 20, 30, even 50 items. This should not be, and I'm not the first person to notice it. As such, given the frequency with which it happens, I don't plan on returning to this store. When I go into an express line, I actually want it to be an express line. Just thought I should let the powers that be know.

This location is in Guildwood. High end of Scarborough. The employees are friendly. Clean. Good selection or fresh food. Ready to eat food selection is great. They actually sell donuts here that are better than Tim Hortons. A little more expensive to shop here. Same level as a Metro or Super Store. One nice thing is a lunch time on weekdays they limit how many students from the high school can come in at one time.

Selection is acceptable.. but missing a few of my regular items. Prices are not competitive with many nearby grocery stores.. but it can't be beat for convenience.. since it's very close to where I live. I use it as a big convenience store.. and would not do a bi- weekly grocery full up here. Friendly though.. and that's worth something as well.

I never thought I would rate or review a supermarket but this one is above any I have ever been to. The staff are unbelievably cheery, helpful and pro-active. I don't know how management found all these people or what they are paying them but they are all first-class. Selection is sufficient, good size organics section (not produce). Easy to navigate.
