This store goes above and beyond what most grocery stores do in terms of being aware of and responding to needs of the surrounding community. They have "sensory friendly" hours sometimes as well as early bird hours for vulnerable people during the COVID crisis. Staff are always a pleasure to talk to, the store is clean, and produce quality is good.

Good grocery store, not as updated as the other stores in Saskatoon. They have great produce and meat and a nice deli section. They also have flowers.

I come here sometimes when I have to pickup an agredient and I'm in a rush only because it's close and very easy to get to, but to be honest they don't often put things in the same area as every other grocery store, for all you know the baking ingredients that you need for your cookies, that is specifically a baking item, could be two isles down from the baking isle.

It's okay but seems to be out of things a LOT. I've gone in multiple times for simple things like onion powder and large flake oatmeal and they're always "out of stock"

It's a grocery store, what more can I say. If you're looking for a Sobey's with a nice bakery this is not the location for you.

I like shopping at the store because it is in the neighborhood. It is very close by. And as a result it's very convenient to shop there. The store is very clean. And I find the employees to be very helpful. So why did I give it only three stars? It's because I find the prices to be very high. Unless that is you look for items that are currently on sale. Items that are on sale tend to be pretty reasonable price in fact their prices are similar to non sale prices at Superstore or Walmart. But as a whole I find their prices to be significantly more that is 10 to 30% more than the prices at Superstore or Walmart. However I do have friends shop at Sobeys because they like the convenience and the ease of finding things because the stores tend to be rather small.

Selection is good, and the store is always clean. Staff sometimes fails to mention when things are on sale for a better deal in the store (as I used to when I worked as a cashier), but that's forgivable.

I give this store 3 stars only because I find they never have enough tills open so you end up waiting a long time. There are also several cashiers who are visibly not happy to the point where they come off as cold. Overall this store supplies the items I need.

The location is probably what I like best. I'm disappointed they don't cater to smaller households like they used to but it's rare that I've had issues with stuff I've bought.

Great store. Variety of foods not always found elsewhere. Clean. Organized with great folks running the checkouts. As with most places I’m finding a decrease in the number of employees left that you can find out and about if you have a question. As well pricing is a tad higher than some other grocery stores. When they run specials though, there are lots of savings to be had! This is my primary grocery store. Overall very satisfied.

Shelves we're stocked but it was Soo busy and very understaffed. My wife and I had to wait nearly 20 min to get through the cashier/lineup .

Convenient location for me which is the main reason I shop there. It is a smaller store therefore limited selecting compared to other larger grocery stores. They tend to never have enough tills open therefore always expect a line at the check out.

Only ended up at this store because all the shops on Central Avenue , Macs or Circle K : 7-11 , Verns Pizza and Big Wings, none of them had 1litre or 2L size of diet 7up or Diet Sprite !!! Not a great night !!

Very friendly helpful staff but a lot of the equipment (freezer lights, automatic door opener, etc) doesn't work properly and prices change all the time. I never know if the regular price for a roasted chicken is going to be 9.99, 10.99, or 11.99... it depends who prices them that day

This sobeys is a little out dated compared to others in the city, I've also had issues with items being expired by over a week and still on the shelves.

Went there today and there is pretty much a coat of construction dust on every product, and the place is dirtier than usual, think they would keep it attempt to keep it more clean... I bypassed products that had alot of construction dust on them, worries me about pre made food and exposed meats ect...As a public safety announcement, I would probably avoid this location till construction is complete...

It's no different from any other Sobey's, other than the floor plan being reversed from every other location I've been to (aside from Stonebridge - THAT location is AMAZING!) College Park is bleh. Good enough for the people in that neighbourhood.

Friendly staff. Realistically the whole strip mall could use a refresh. Parking lot is a bit unkempt, but that's not on Sobeys. It's a smaller outlet so they be may not have everything you want, but a decent selection be overall

Shopping for coming back to SK. I have purchase several things for daily cleaning. Also I have run out some food in my fridge, I got the blue berry for 2bl in 5.99 with big size and really fresh. Compare those with what I have in Vancouver, those are huge. High quality and better service, here will be your first choice.

Lots of parking, clean store, bright lights. I think the vegetable to junk food ratio is a bit too high but some people like them healthy snacks, apparently. I’m always looking out for extra AirMiles deals. Staff are nice, usually (everyone is allowed to have an off day). Good ice cream selection and they have the white deep n delicious cakes so this is a legit snack stop.

The store layout is very clean and uncluttered. Found it to be the same as their our stores layout. The time and day of when I was checking out, had me concerned that I shouldn't have to wait so long to pay for my goods. They had no express checkouts running at all. Things were moving very slowly and at this location and where at a different location, no matter what the time of day their is always at least a express check out open on the weekends.

Compared to the other stores his one could do better when customer service. The deli people took their time in serving and the customer service desk was more in tuned to talking to their co workers than to service.

Good selection but the store feels a little cramped because of it, stonebridge or the Sobeys further east on 8th is more spacious, that kind of thing matters in a pandemic

I love this store! It is smaller and easy to shop in. Everything is always very fresh. I also like not having to ask for items behind glass like at other Sobeys. I have had to wait at other locations just to get one dessert. At this location, I can choose what I want and see the date it was actually packaged. Not the day I purchased it from behind the glass counter. Thanks for providing great customer service and a very clean store!

Absolutely terrible service. Gone downhill last couple years. Usually only 1 or 2 tills open during the busiest times, stand in line forever. My whole family stopped going there. Any other grocery store way cheaper, faster.

My partner and I went for the sensory friendly evening this Thursday and it was excellent! The atmosphere was calm, there were no loud announcements and most importantly, there was no country music! We will definitely be back for sensory friendly Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm !!

Was looking to refill 5litre bottles of water . I ask at customer service she tells me about the culligan refill, I said do you know if anywhere we can just refill our own bottles, oh yeah on aisle 9. So my elderly mom and I go fill 2 5l bottles , get caps from customer service, I asked the you g man at the till if he could push down to make sure I had the lids on all the way, he said oh your push will be as good as mine! Alrighty so we leave the store with no offer if help and my 75 yr old mom lifts these into the car. Terrible customer service from everyone we encountered!

Wanna share my experience about a sweet lady Diasy (department manager Bakery sobeys college park) I ordered my baby shower cake with her and she went beyond her service ,she asked me show her pictures and I send her which she explained so well to her cake decorator and my cake turned out just perfect. She is love. I even tried sobeys stone bridge but they didn't satisfied me, they say what ever u are asking for is custom and we dont do custom, I think they were not listening to me, but the staff at sobeys college park they did and went beyond their service. I am so thankful and I will recommend this store.

I worked here in the front end for two and a half years, all my managers were always super friendly and understanding. It never felt like they were bossing you around because of how they treated their staff. I know that it's a retail job so working with certain customers at times was extremely frustrating, the time spent with co-workers made up for it. While there were a lot of customers that would boss me around, leave carts in the middle of nowhere for me to collect, and get made while I was a cashier because it was slow even though I have no control over who phones in sick or is on break, there were many more customers that treated me with a friendly hello and would tell me about themselves. While I slowly grew to dislike going to work, I always put in 110%, well at times. I also know many of the managers put in countless hours every day in order to try and make the entire store better. So when you make a comment about the store as a whole, or had one bad experience just remember that there are individuals there who do work hard, and managers that eat sleep and breath Sobeys who are amazing at customer service.

Sobeys needs to hire experienced knowledgable deli clerks! LMAO you would think people who work with food actually know about food!! Stuffed Mushrooms! Basic and the name says it all! I asked two people! TWO!! Behind the deli and they didn't know what stuffed mushrooms were and had to go ask a supervisor! Sheesh I'll be lazy when in a hurry but next time forget it, I'll make my own!

I lreally like this Sobeys. I mostly shop at night and they've always accommodated me, even if I show up at 10:45. Stuff is always where I am looking for it, and staff are friendly and wonderful to interact with. I drive across town sometimes just to shop here. Well done staff!

Just did a quick pickup for the next day after a date night with the wife, the store was clean and almost empty of people. Lots of room lots of product... different layout than our usual store made us take a couple weird turns. Had to take a poop and the washrooms were well maintained. Good job team.
