I bought a fruit basket because I can't go to the grocery store right now and thought it'd be uplifting to my family. To find that it was rather disappointing. The banana and apples were bruised and the cantaloupe was rotten. I called and complained, they sent a replacement and the wrap was broken on it. It was even less fruit than the original basket. When I had called wondering when it would be delivered, I had said it's a lot of money for rotten fruit. She said that it's their best fruit and they loose money on it. To send out rotten fruit and talk to customers that way was horrible. I understand that people make mistakes but it's all how you handle it and it was portly handled.

I ordered a cone of chocolate covered strawberries (never having ordered them before) and I came by to pick them up. I paid before I could see them which I think was deliberate because they were just on the back counter in a plastic cup so no need to add anything else to the order. I paid and the cup was placed in a bag and the employee (or owner not sure) went to the back. I stopped to check out the berries and almost all of them were whitish yellow on the ends v.s red and fresh looking. While I didn’t expect perfection, they weren’t aesthetically pleasing and they were a gift so I asked the man to come back and asked why they looked this way, with dry browning leaves and everything..he said that’s how they come blah blah. He seemed frustrated and mumbled something about replacing one. He swapped out one and the rest I was still stuck with. I feel this was sloppy work and a waste of money.I also feel hiding the product from the customer to mask the low quality was especially shocking. When asked to replace them he only replaced one. This is totally unacceptable and I would warn anyone to be wary when ordering fresh items and be sure to request to see the items before you buy. Fair warning because there are special occasions coming up...needless to say I won’t return!

Really dissappointed with my order. Have ordered from edibible arrangements before but my order today was not in the container I ordered and the pinapple flowers looks slimmy like they’ve been sitting out. When you pay $80+ for fruit you expect it to be fresh. When I asked about the container the girl just said yeah oh I guess we should have called you. They really should have considering this purple is not going to go with anything we have, even a white container would have been fine. Won’t be able to bring this tomorrow at all and won’t be ordering from them again.

The arrangement is beautiful but I am unhappy about paying $14.99 for delivery when the recipient had to pick the item up. One attempt was made to deliver the arrangement and then the recipient was called and told that they had to pick it up as the driver was off duty. This was before 5pm today. Just what a grieving family needs! Perhaps if you are unable to deliver on first attempt, a call could be made to make arrangements for a second attempt? The delivery address was less than 5 minutes from your pick up location. Not a whole lot of effort was put in for the steep $14.99 charge. Disappointed in the service.

I had ordered items online for a work function. They do not deliver, so I went over to pick my items up. The staff were super friendly so I had to give them a star for that, and another star for the items. However I had to deduct a lot of stars as the place was very messy, a state of disarray, if you will. And the smell was of old fruit sweet and over ripe. It didn't leave a great impression on me about the very expensive items I had bought but hope they'll address the sanitary, cleanliness concerns. Again, Staff are great. Super friendly, incredibly accommodating, very helpful, took the time to assist someone in their order and walk them through it ( an individual in front of me)

UPDATE***** I recently received a follow up call from the owner of this store. I was quite surprised. He wanted to know my concerns in which I shared with him. I was not expecting anything in the end except to help others help find confidence in reading feedback from other people experience by leaving one myself. I was sent a box of chocolate strawberries for my troubles and I have to say that he went out of his way to make a call he didnt have to, as well as send me more chocolates. 5 stars for service above and beyond. Ordered a fruit platter online. Presentation was just like the picture seen online. 2 stars for the service. I called in to inquire about the delivery time frame. I just spent 70 bucks with deliver for fruit that I could have done myself minus the chocolate. We all do it pretty much for the experience of getting a fruit bouquet no?? The person who answered the phone seemed annoyed that I was even calling in to ask and barely heard the bye on her end right before hanging up.

HORRIBLE !!! Im not even going to waste a minute of my time complaining to the store manager ;( I simply wanted to send a nice gift to my Father in Canada since im in the USA.. I spent $130 + taxes not including the currency exchange rates only to receive horrible service. They online process was easy, they specified what days i could choose delivery from I chose the 24th of December which was available. No time was able to be selected. I called on the day of and they said they would call the person receiving prior to delivery. This was at 9am . I was worried my dad wouldnt be home all day to wait around for the package it was Xmas Eve and people go to dinners, ect.. After 5pm and a few calls my Dad had to ask me to change the delivery address to his friends because they would be going to dinner there . Mind you not if you arent home when they deliver you have to pick it up no matter the $14.99 delivery fee charge!!!!! So I made sure to change the delivery adreess to where my dad later would be... He called me around 9:40PM saying he received it with no prior call to him!!!!! How embarrassing!! Everything was so unorganized :( After everyone left the dinner he had to wait around for it even longer ! Never will I order from this location or Even company !! How can they expect someone to wait around all day nonetheless show up at Almost 10 o clock at night!!!! How ***** rude!!! ;((((((( DONT WASTE YOUR $$$$ the fruit wasnt the best he sAid wasnt fresh

I would give this a 0 if I was able to. My family has ordered from this company many times (mississauga area) and we have always been pleased with our orders, until I went to this location. Today is my birthday and I placed an order yesterday for a birthday basket. They were out of balloons so I did not even receive one with my order which is fine. I also ordered a 2 and a 1 to put in the arrangement. When I came home and opened it the numbers were placed like the photo below. I paid 120$ for this presentation, there are suppose to be 3 stars that are not even visible, just shoved towards the bottom. It looks like a three year old put this together. Please do not go to this location as the customer service is terrible. I was hung up on and questioned why I didn't come back right away when I had classes all day and was only able to run home to put it in my fridge. I shouldn't have to go back and complain, it should have been done right the first time. The owner refuses to do anything and says she's never had any complaints yet there are other 1's given as reviews on this location. The 21 is what is suppose to stand out and this is what I received for 120$ ...

Waterloo location went above and beyond what I was expecting. I ordered a create your own box and a happy anniversary balloon for my parents' 42nd. Instead of the balloon they sent 3 chocolate covered apple rings decorated with Happy 42nd! They were delicious and juicy. My parents loved it.

UPDATE: The arrangement did arrive a day late, in good condition, but was missing an item. I contacted the store to request the cost of the missing item and delivery fee be credited to my method of payment and this was done without any fuss. The store owner called me shortly thereafter to apologize and ensure I was satisfied with the resolution. I am, but will likely not rely on this service in future. ORIGINAL: I placed an online order for same day delivery to a location closing at 4:30 PM, and phoned ahead to ensure the store was able to work within the available 3.5 hour window. When I reached out at 4:00 PM for a status update I was assured again my order would be delivered prior to 4:30 PM. Despite this, the delivery was not made. I reached out to determine next steps. The service provider suggested she call the recipient in order to arrange an evening delivery but, obviously, this would be an interruption and also ruin the surprise element of the gift. It was agreed delivery would be reattempted the next business day (not on the special date I had hoped to recognize). I am disappointed. I was not offered reimbursement of (quite high) delivery fees or any other compensation for the inconvenience, nor did I request any. Hopefully things go more smoothly tomorrow and the product arrives in good condition. Either way, I can't recommend a service which requires so much customer intervention and still literally fails to deliver.

Just received an edible fruit basket for birthday on Thursday June 18, 2020 so we are 48 hours out. I've never been a fan because I don't trust the quality of the fruit and the people putting them together. Just as I suspected, the fruit was moldy and rotten. I've included a picture. To top it off, the delivery guy didn't wear a mask and was far from sanitary. This basket was 100$ waste of money that is now in compost. BUYER BEWARE.

I ordered a Mother’s Day box of chocolate covered strawberries and two bouquets of flowers. The strawberries were all different sizes, not put in the box properly. The bouquets had wilting flowers and one was fuller than the other. Paid $160 and did not receive anything worth that price.

I ordered two large arrangements ....they couldnt garrentee delivery by a certain time. Whats even worse is they double charged me on thier debit machine and havent returned the extra charge of $212.10. They said it was returned but not to my account....so i spent $424.20 for two arrangments .....they basically stole $212.10. I wouldnt recommend people use thier debit card here . They finally refunded my money after i got my bank to do a forensic audit of my purchase.

I receive a beautifully package edible arrangement for my birthday. The fruit was fresh. The chocolate perfectly molded to the fruit while it was presented in a cheerful, colorful box. I would highly recommend the arrangement of 4 strawberries, 4 bananas and 4 granny smith apples. Enjoy.

This location is terrible. I would give them a zero if I could also, I went in to purchase an arrangement on Mother's day to bring to the hospital I figured they would have something in the showcases as they are a retail store, even on busy holidays in the Ottawa locations, they always have arrangements for walk in customers. The workers were screaming at one another in the back and then someone yelled there are customers out front, a woman snapped back" I know " came out from the back room, walked right up in front of me and picked up the phone without even acknowledging my presence. When she finally did speak to me, I asked if I could purchase something someone else came out from the back room and told me I could come back in an hour but they were visibly put out, No help whatsoever, completely unprofessional and rude. I have ordered from them online a couple of times from Ottawa for family members in Kitchener, however now that I have gone in personally and received the treatment I did, I will never order from them again. I will take my money and spend it elsewhere.

I have ordered multiple times from this store for a surprise for a friend in Saskatoon. Every time, there has been a promo item added (such as buy one get one free or free box of dipped fruit) the promo item is never delivered and it is a headache to get the issue resolved...that i have given up trying. Their quality of product is acceptable and delivery is prompt so I will still recommend this shop, just don't order anything extra cause it will be forgotten.

I know this company is very busy I get that. But my daughter is a front-line worker who has worked every day throughout this pandemic. I ordered her a platter but also, three smiley balloons and a card which I poured my love and admiration into. She got the platter, which was beautiful and that's it. When I called the young girl said “what would you like us to do”, I had to suggest a refund. And it's not even about the money, I wanted it to be special for her, she is a PSW and they don't get much recognition on the best of days never mind through this God-awful pandemic. Just disappointed.

Not terribly impressed. The fruit is a great idea. A tasty treat for any occasion. I was the recipient of a valentine's day surprise of a bouquet of fruit. The only problem is half the fruit is rotten. After biting into a wonderful chocolate covered strawberry. I had to spit it out because it had turned rotten. Now I have gone through the bouquet and thrown half the strawberries out. What a way to ruin a nice surprise. How do I even mention this to the sender?

Ordered for my mom online for Mother's Day. I was concerned that I'd left things too late (4 days before Mother's Day) as I know how busy flower shops get that week. And I don't live in her city so needed it delivered. But it was easy to find beautiful and delicious looking options online and delivery was available still for next day or even right up to Mother's Day itself. There was a fee for delivery sadly but not so bad really. My mom received it on Saturday as I requested and she was thrilled with what she received!! So I'm very happy and glad to keep my place as her favorite child ????!

Do not order from this location. I had ordered the mini BBQ set they had on for the summer for my husbands birthday. They called me to let me know they didn’t have the little BBQ set so I had asked them to substitute for something similar. No one called me back to let me know what the substitution was. So I called the morning of the delivery. I spoke with the owner and she was incredibly rude. Sounded like an older lady. I was polite but she was annoyed with me from the start of the call. They had completely switched my order for something else. And I had asked if I was going to get a discount (this was a 100$ order) for them switching the original container with a basic cardboard box. She started on this rampage of how I was getting a ribbon and a balloon (which I had already added to the order and paid for). I stated she was being rude and asked for a supervisor. I was clearly just a customer wanting information on a 100$ gift I was sending my husband. I was surprised to hear she was the owner. She then proceeded to get extremely defensive with me stating “this is my voice with a cold. I have a cold” listen lady. I also have a cold right now and I am not talking like a troll to you?! I cancelled my order and I am reporting her to the franchise. This was awful. The other locations service Waterloo anyway. So don’t order from here. This review is based solely on my opinion and perspective of events.

I saw all the terrible reviews online about Edible Arrangements, but as an optimistic person I decided to still give them a shot at delivering a piece on Valentines Day. Instead, I was met with an email saying they cancelled my order, accusing me of credit card fraud. (I had used a Vanilla gift card because I do not have a CC) I was really looking forward to it, but they have just disappointed me in the same way they have disappointed everyone else. I would give 0 stars if I could and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My wife is pretty upset with this company who said they delivered to KW hospital for Tuesday December 22, 2020. However; there was no record with front reception except for the delivery that was dropped off on Monday December 21, 2020. When my wife tired to speak to the person who answer the phone, she raised her voice and said the delivery guy had delivered the package. We have never had any issues with any other Edible Arrangements stores besides this store, however; reviews and corrections can better a business.

I ordered a Red Velvet Berry Bouquet and Box Bundle for a valentines day surprise. Not impressed with the quality of the fruit. My wife found 2 molded and rotten strawberries in the bunch, and most of the rest were just overripe and kind of mushy. Definitely was not enjoyable. EDIT: The owner reached out to me very promptly and offered to make it right. Very good customer service and a business that stands behind their product.

I ordered an arrangement for my husband and two year old (who loves their fruit) for Valentine's Day. J made sure to order over a month in advance as I know how hectic the season can be. I put a note in my order that this was for a toddler who had a bedtime, if it could be delivered before his bedtime. I was at home and waited around all day for the delivery and finally called at 5:20 to ask what time I could expect it, only to be told it would be delivered between 6:30-8:00, so after his bedtime, because they were "backed up". My only options were to have it delivered the next day or a refund, or just wait for it to be delivered that day. Since this was my surprise for my boys, and I didn't have anything else for them for Valnetines day, i had no choice but to wait. My son was disappointed he didn't get his surprise and went to bed with nothing from me, and it was finally delivered at 8:05. Customer service was rude and useless when I called and offered no help at all. They offer a limited selection for Valentines day because of how busy they get, then can't even keep up with their orders. I love edible arrangements and have never had an issue before, but will not be ordering from this location again if I can help it, not with the level of service I received on my call.

I was recently gifted with a huge happy birthday celebration, a happy birthday platter, and a smaller arrangement. I understand that fresh fruit is a hit or miss, definitely a miss with this one. Some of the fruit over ripe, most of it was very sour or zero flavor. There were chocolate covered bananas, the one I tried was very over ripe, tasted rotten actually. I then tried chocolate dipped pineapple... yep, no thanks. Also ( in my opinion) not good quality chocolate. on the positive, they looked lovely, and delivery person was very friendly.

Placed an order for delivery to a business as a surprise for a friend. Waited all day to hear from friend, but when I spoke with her she did not receive any delivery. Contacted Edible Arrangements and they informed me that it was not sent out because they were too busy. Totally understand that these things can come up, but there was no call to myself, the recipient, or email notification that the order was not going to be fulfilled as requested. Was very upset that I was never contacted about the delay as the surprise is now ruined. Was also unhappy about how my call/concern was handled by staff. Hopefully it shows up today.... hopefully it's made fresh and not from yesterday....

I ordered a last minute delivery for my mom's 80th birthday (two boxes, balloons and the chocolate pop). It arrived without issue. She was very pleased with the whole presentation and really enjoyed the treats. She said she would have just one and then ate the box. Fruit was fresh, chocolate was delicious. Great job! My only issue was the "track status" never updated. I did call in the afternoon for an update and the person was helpful and information accurate. This is a great if you want to do something a little different. Worked out because my mom had some guests and she had some special treats to offer them. And if you are looking at the chocolate pops I found them much bigger than expected.

I went ahead and ordered from this store, at Arbutus St despite knowing they had bad review. Being fair, I went ahead and ordered my basket. It turns out the fruits were not fresh, soury smell when opened it and the strawberries were moldy. I called the store directly and the person answering the phone was not friendly and pushed the problem to the manager. I am still waiting for the manager to get back to me. I never write unpleasant reviews but this one is for real!

When I placed the order a few days earlier, I put in the wrong date. I actually had called in for the day I thought I placed the order for to give her some additional information for the card. She caught my mistake and fixed it immediately. Told me there was no problem with delivering it the same day as what I had originally intended but hadn't written down. The order was not only delivered impeccably but was also delivered in the time slot I had requested. I am very happy with this location, and their outstanding customer service. I will definitely use them again for future orders, and will recommend them to everyone.

Received fruit flowers plus chocolates as a gift--Ate the fruit first, left the chocolates for 4or5 days.--didn't realize they were fruit. When i opened the box they were moldy-had to throw them in the garbage. Felt badly as it was an expensive gift. Should put a note in to eat when received--only had "chocolates" on box.
