We have been buying beef from Carzan for a long time (even from Alberta!) and it is amazing, we often don’t even have anything to drain out of the pan and it tastes so good. We recently also had the chance to visit the store in person and grabbed a whole bunch of things like Perogies, cabbage rolls, cheesecake jars, beef jerky, brisket, and wish we would have been able to buy more. It was all so delicious and priced better than big name grocery stores. Win-win-win to support local and have it taste so good. Must visit!

To describe the glory of Carzan is to attempt to capture the wind. First you must consider the location. Carzan sits nestled in the heart of Southey. This is a town so delightful every street is named after a literary icon. Perhaps we need a street named after a dietary icon. Carzan Crescent? Second, try the magnificent stew beef. It melts in your mouth like a glorious chocolate with just as much aphrodisiac effect. The lamb. Oh to think of the lamb is to court disaster. My bank account can only take so much. If you were to enter Carzan, you'll be greeted by the two lovely owners. I can attest that the one has a magnificent beard. If you should be coming through Southey, stop at this little gem. Pick up some delicious meat, delightful baked goods, and some lamb for me!

EVERYTHING is SO DELICIOUS... I am blown away by this LOCAL SASK GEM. I love the drive up through the Qu'Appelle valley to get there - the store is just PURE Sask charm - my happy place to browse local goodies made by local Sask people. I like that I can pick up individual local beef portions here - I don't always have room for farm quarters. With insane beef prices at the big box stores I can get LOCAL beef that is MUCH tastier for less at Carzan's. Also - my family loves the local honey and the farm fresh eggs I bring home. BOTH less expensive than big box store prices... I was shocked. Overall - highly recommend. Supporting local Saskachewan is so important - I love this store and what it stands for! Just fills my heart.

In June I received my order of a 1/4 cow and I have not been impressed with the meat and have donated most of it for this reason. The meat was tough with little flavour to it. I paid $650 for this meat and I won’t do it again. Very disappointed. Marie

I try to support local as much as possible and with the delivery option to Regina and a few other spots Carter and Carmen make it so easy to get locally sourced food right to my door. Their beef is amazing, I definitely recommend checking out the rest of the local companies they also support by carrying them in store!

Amazing little shop with crazy good prices for local, grass fed beef products and other local items such as HB’s pickled sausage! Good assortment of rubs and spices as well. Just picked up a brisket and it cost less than the large stores, plus the farmers got to put the money right into their pockets, skipping the middle man. Carter was great to talk to in lining up specific products that I was seeking as well - super good guy to deal with. #ShopLocal

Awesome customer service , very friendly willing to answer any questions you have I've tried the lean hamburger it was very tasty and next to nothing for fat or water reside when cooked , and steaks were deadly cooked on the BBQ with a little smoke chips .. I will be a continuous customer

Carzans Local Market is a place that you MUST check out. They pack their space with the most awesome Saskatchewan made products that they themselves have eaten and used to ensure the shelves and freezers are full of only the most delicious and quality products! We bought a quarter of beef from Carzan Local Market this year. We were very pleased about the level of service that we were given. Our meat was cut up exactly the way we ordered--no detail was missed. After calculating the final cost after cutting loss, we still found it to be a most economical choice. But the best part of all is the freshness, tenderness, and all-round good taste of the meat! Truly 'first-class' beef--thank you, Carter & Carmen!

If we could rate more stars we would! Superior product....we go through 100's of pounds of ground beef. We have tired others before and will always stay with Carzan. We get more beef and less fat. The stewing beef is so tender and since we switched to Carzan we have so many compliments on how tender the beef stew is. The customer service is over the top. Carmen and Carter are extremely accomodating in getting beef to us even on short notice. They are that power couple that makes you feel like you have been friends of theirs for years. Thank you for doing what you do and helping small local producers have a chance. Go check them out!!

Customer service second to none. Carter and Carmen are very welcoming and beyond friendly. They know their products well and their warm personality resonates on how the store is set up. Always end up picking up more than what I intended to buy and that’s never a bad thing. The meats are way better than what commercial stores sell, plus the fact that it’s locally produced is a big thing. Although they deliver, I take the drive out of the city for a few minutes (it’s quite scenic). Needless to say, i’m a loyal customer. Definitely recommend the store!
