The prices are a bit steep but living out here there are times when I just need a couple quick basics. What I absolutly love and wish more grocery stores would adopt is the fresh fruit free for the kids to keep them occupied...one of the few times my kids WANT fruit

Open 24/day, this store has great variety for a small(ish) store. Most of the staff are super friendly and helpful. The prices do tend to be on the high end, especially for produce. They have an amazing health food/gluten free area that when it has deals is a great resource in the Grove.

Good local grocery. I am visiting Ontario. Couldn't find buttermilk 3.5% fpr baking my traditional Irish scones, but gladly they had at least 1%. Who knows maybe people don't use it as much as we do in Alberta. Thanks to staff on the floor they helped me and assisted as often as I approached them

The 5 star is back.. Service level is and has always been great. It was the stores transition if its layout that stressed me out. In retrospect I can't imagine what they had to deal with. For ever grateful to those of you that made Foodland even better. The stars a falling off. I loved the staff at the tills , friendly even through these tough times. The changes of the store layout came at poor time but I guess thats progress in the eyes of head office. Personally I didn't enjoy searching for my groceries during these times. Now I see self check out, thats a two star loss right there. Without options in the Grove and trying to shop locally you are not winning me over currently. Just bad timing on your part to reconfigure your store.

I believe there needs to be more quality control in the bakery lately. Finding cinnamon buns overbaked & dry, cookies under baked & sometimes almost raw. Bought a loaf of cherry bread that had zero cherries in half the loaf and no bread in the other half - just a clumped mass of cherries. Clearly the dough had not been mixed properly. I don't mind paying more for groceries to have the convenience of somewhere close to shop but it isn't much of a convenience if I have to make multiple trips to return items or overspend on items that end up being thrown out due to poor quality. I guess bigger isn't always better.

First time stopping in here. Produce beautifully displayed and looked fresh. Happy to find fresh cilantro, though dill was only available in the small fresh herb plastic packs for $2.99, so not having a real plan in mind to use it this week, I declined. Will definitely stop in again when errands place me in Bright's Grove.

My wife and I have supported Foodland for years but have decided to go elsewhere as a result of the store catering to Never Maskers. Many people have decided to boycott the store, as once again it is the few who ruin it for the many. Never Maskers don’t care about anyone but themselves. So sad.

With both my husband and I having health issues we wanted to make one trip to the grocery store that would last us for at least a couple of weeks. The SS in Sarnia had a full parking lot so we figured perhaps our local Foodland would be a better choice. Nobody was practicing social distancing, we had to literally back away from people but I do realize that’s not entirely the stores fault. Just one example from our groceries, we were charged 9.00 for 400 grams of kraft cheddar. The prices they charged overall were unbelievable! I don’t care how close they are, I will NEVER shop there again. Foodland Bright’s Grove, you should be ashamed, we probably would have paid less at Sunripe! ????
