Very nice and clean market. Not your average farmers market in that you don't get all the cheap seconds or # 2 products. The quility of the products the farmers bring is alway good. I only wish it was open longer then til noon.

Today I got to be a vendor for the first time and I'm glad I got to experience the market! Awesome environment, crazy talented ppl and their crafts, all kinds of cool stuff! Super friendly staff an volunteers...honestly cant wait to go back!

The market is part of our Saturday routine; we really miss it over the winter. The vendors are friendly, the kids love the face painting and educational displays, and the buskers add to the relaxed atmosphere as we do our fresh food shopping.

Knowing the History of the town, there is absolutely no question the Horton Market is very much an essential part of St.Thomas and is an event I encourage everyone to experience..

In some ways, it's a really great market, considering there are only about 30 vendors. In other ways, it's a bit disappointing. In any given market say, there are only about 6 farm stands and a few new pop up vendors, the rest is there same vendors. It can also be hard to find anything worth the asking price, but there is a few vendors really worth the money. Outside the farm stands, Sunset Bakery and that pork farm stand are my personal favorites.

One look at the fruit and veggies, and you know this is really organic, locally farmed produce! Who knew that real natural tomatoes are so different in shapes, and a bit ugly! ???? I love having a one-stop location for farmer's eggs, organic turkey goodies, most delicious greek gsrluc sauce, and if you want, a couple of stands with baked goods, a super fancy spices rack, meat, chilled pizza, seasonal fruits. It has everything for the whole week. We are just two people, so buying just what we are going to eat during the week is very sustainable. I am happy we have this market founded in 1850 in our town.

I go here every Saturday morning. For freshest fruits and vegetables when in season. You don't pay the high prices from grocery stores. Or how many times they were handled by people from the field to shelf. This place is the most excellent place. From field to market. Within one day. Pies ???? fresh. Not days old. Fresh eggs. Fresh meats inside pavilion. Other hot and fresh foods to go. Local brewery. Selling their beers. In small Quantities.
