The Pumpkin Patch is a local favorite! This is a small "farm-stand" style store selling fresh produce, meats, and baked goods as well as a greenhouse that offers plants, seeds, tools, and outdoor decor items. Locally it is probably most known for it's ice cream. It is only open seasonally, usually from mid-May until late October. The store makes an effort to stock locally-grown produce, and the quality and price are hard to match.

I had a orange pineapple ice cream and it was delicious.... I have shopped at the Pumpkin Patch for gifts from the greenhouse.I got a beautiful crystal for my friends birthday. Actually when I returned to purchase it that evening, after some thought, the greenhouse was closed , expressing my disappointment to an employee at the ice cream counter , he took me over opened it up and allowed me to buy it. Thanks again.. It's also the only place I can find sheep manure done up in bags by staff ..this stuff is so good in the garden ..I have bought many bags ...
