I was very excited to visit Marché Lili for a long time. I was finally able to visit last week around 5:45pm. They were listed to close at 6:30pm. I was really disappointed to find the lady working that day had already put away 95% of her stock, 45 minutes early, and would only offer to let us purchase what she had yet to bring to her fridges. As a result, we were only able to purchase 1 of the items we had gone there to get while she stood right next to us and watched. It was unnerving and I was disappointed that my first experience with a store I was so excited for ended that way. I want to say I'll be back for a second first-impression, but I'm still not sure. I am trying to move our household to a more local-purchase, small business patronage to better support our community and neighbors. I really felt like I was bothering the lady that served us the day we went and that makes me want to find another store to serve my needs.
