I visited Sobey Glendale yesterday around 2pm and I was looking for specific sweetener, but I couldn't find. Mike was helping me to find that stuff, however it was not in stock at that moment, while later I was keep shopping the other things, and Mike finally found that sweetener from back and bring over to me. I really appreciate to your warm and genuine associates Mike! It was great customer experience. Outstanding! Thanks Mike!

Clean, well run grocery store. Sobey's in general is more expensive than many in this market but I cannot blame this specific store for that. I still come here in spite of that, which says something.

Such a wonderful store for produce. I really don't mind paying a little extra for good quality fruits and veggies. Please continue keeping it fresh. :) the paper bags however are .... umm.... great for the environment but horrible to carry. Glad we can bring our own bags again.

I love the layout of this store with its non-rectangular nature. There's great bread baked in-house and they have great sales around 7 p.m. just before a holiday when they are closed. I'd probably choose this grocery store over the others unless something was on sale elsewhere. Too bad this store does not price compare. There's usually no lineups like you sometimes get at Food Basics. Sometimes they have great samples.

Your self scan computers need an overhaul. A little more customer service would also go a long way towards making this a decent Sobeys. Music too loud and not suitable for a grocery store.

I made a purchase of a visa gift card on Thursday December 23rd. Upon attempting to use the card, there were issues with it. I called Visa and they informed me that it wasn't even their card. Returning back to the store to ask what they could do about it, a young man named Logan helped. He showed understanding and genuine concern. So thank you Logan for your exceptional customer service skills. It's a skill that is appreciated and worthy of recognition.

Definitely the best grocery store I have been in Overall, sobeys (the glendale avenue one at least) is amazing. The staff are very friendly, the presentation is amazing (I dont think that I have ever found anything on the floors such as products that have fallen off the shelves, other than maybe once or twice). The only reason that I gave this a 4 star review, is the fact that a lot of the time, thing are expensive here compared to other grocery stores in the area.

Cleanest Sobeys in Niagara that includes Beamsvilke and Grimsby . We drive all tge way from Beamsville to shop there..And great employees always got a smile .10 out 10 for a grocery store.

The staff is friendly and helpful if needed. They're open at 7am. It's great for the early risers & everyone else. Might pay a little more than no frills or basics, but it's open early and has quality products with exceptional employees

I went to the Sobey’s on Glendale the other day and received the best service to date. I was cashed out by one of the associates and I believed her name was Tina. She was the sweetest and most helpful. It was around closing time but she did not make me feel like she was rushing to get out at all. She even helped place my grocery items in the cart without being asked. Could not have asked for a better example of excellent customer service.

Sobeys isn't the best place for deals but once in a while you can find some great offers, an employee tried to force me to take a shopping cart (COVID-19 times). I not taking a cart to grab 2 items when I am in a rush.

My hubby picked up flowers for his auntie and grandpa's birthday. The woman at the flower counter went SO above and beyond for him - wrapping the flowers with care and removing dead ones, packaging up the gifts and flowers all together, even though not everything was purchased there. Presentation was perfect and hubby was thoroughly impressed which is saying quite a lot. Because of this amazing service, we will make this our grocery store from now on. Thank you Sobeys.

So many delicious hot foods to choose from. I am always impressed by the quality and the selection available. With this being said it is one of the most expensive grocery stores. Because of that I rarely shop here. When I am looking to buy a delicious birthday cake I will definitely go out of my way to check out what is available. The store is usually clean and stocked up nicely.

Extremely disappointed with the integration of the natural foods into the regular aisles. Made finding the food and products unwanted very difficult. And some items are no longer carried by Sobeys. The gigantic posted sign stating 100% satisfaction, no excuses is a profound lie. Not satisfied and I have only been given excuse after excuse. May be another year before I set foot in a Sobeys, if I ever do again. There employees we dealt with were helpful and friendly. Thankfully. So long to a grocery store that I once loved.

I go to get flowers for my significant other from here from time to time. The ladies that work in the floral dept are amazing and always go above and beyond to repackage a bouquet to make it look like a million bucks at no extra charge! If you want to get someone flowers for a special occasion or just because, this is the place to go!

I like coming here when the flyer shows good deals. The produce is always fresh, but the prices can get high if they are not on sale. I like their deli selection and they have a great vegan variety. They also sell beer here so I'd you don't want to wait in the LCBO line, just come here.

Aside from the fact prices are higher than normal for a grocery store, basic products like ground pork and fresh salmon are often out of stock or simply not available at this location.

I love this place. It's clean, although a little darkly lit. It's a chain store, bit it has the niceties of a smaller type of grocery store. The self check outs are THE BOMB!!!! you do the have to scan your cans 150 times each, and they aren't extremely loud and obnoxious. Love this place.

Way way over priced. This place is alway clean because hardly anyone there. Never a line up. There sales equal the regular price of items bought at no frill or food basics. Big bag Doritos is 4.99 at Sobeys and always 2.99 at no frills. No Frills chips will have a later expiry date because they sell way more.

Great meat department. I can never find anyone to provide service at the seafood department. Well, never is to strong . . It is more like 8 times out of ten visits that service was unavailable. This happens usually around noon or in late afternoon. Otherwise a great store, great service, cheese prices higher than at Forino's. More variety of foreign cheeses on a rotating basis would be appreciated.

Great selection, quality products, deli is well stocked with quality products that are ideal for hosting parties or looking for something a little different. They have their own line of products that are more reasonable in price without sacrificing quality

Came here tonight at 2150 on December 30, 2021. The manager on duty is absolutely atrocious, the way he spoke to us about being fast and buying alcohol before 2159. Then as we walked away an employee asked if he could close the doors and the manager yelled at him saying "I'll close the doors when I want to." If you have a high turn over rate here is your reason why, this man is absolutely despicable and should not have any authority over anyone. Tall Caucasian male, skinny, white hair, wearing an apron. Minimum wage is not worth being treated like dirt by a manager. This man should he fired immediately.

Very clean, friendly staff and if you can't find something they will take you right to it. It's a high end grocery store so don't expect No Frills prices. It is also open 24 hours fir your convenience.

A good place to do your grocery shopping. Here you can get some awesome fresh sausages or stuffed mushroom caps that are made in store. They have a fresh deli where you can have excellent sandwiches made. The cost is a bit higher then other grocery stores but worth it for the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff.

Loved the fact that Sobeys was open until midnight, quite a bit later than any other store / restaurant in the area. Really was helpful when one has cravings for chicken wings, Arizona iced tea and chips at 11PM. Now they've changed their hours to close at 11PM. It's not the same.

Ordered some of their pepperoni sticks and ate a few before I noticed that they were covered in mold. When I brought them back in the Deli Manager said that this was "normal" for cured meats and they must have just missed wiping off the mold on these particular ones. That was not really as reassuring as she thought it would be. They also told me that they were packed the day before but when I looked at the wrapping they actually had already expired. Dishonest. They're lucky I didn't get sick. Won't shop there again.

I go there often and most things are good . but the ground beef is discusting at least 6 times i have found grey meat inside red on the outside . lots of grey meat . today i tried to buy some as it seems mostly the family packs were grey but it was yuck ! I am returning it tomorrow and will not shop there again .

On the smaller side of the sobeys I have been to, but they had everything that I was looking for. The chocolate section seemed a little small, but I think I found everything I was looking for. Great looking fruit and produce section.

I love this Sobeys. It's clean and fresh and fairly new. The store has a nice layout and offers a great variety in all its departments. It has a huge deli with cheese from around the world, a large meat counter and a big hot deli that has a lot to choose from. It has a large meat and seafood department as well as a large bakery area that offers lots of different baked goods as well as gluten free. It has a pharmacy and a large floral department with lots to choose from. I shop here regularly.

Excellent Grocery store! I love that they always have fresh produce, an excellent bakery, deli, and meat department. Friendly Staff, and a very clean store. They always have great sale's on, and a great selection of products. I don't mind paying a little extra for meat, and produce sometimes because it last much longer and I find it's a higher quality. I highly recommend this grocery store. They have a great selection of products.
