My families go to grocery store ! Been going here since day one, great store all around and the employees are knowledgeable about the store products if you have a question. Staff are also very polite.

For a low budget grocery store, it's quite okay, certainly a lot better than the one down near Welland & Bunting. However, why would it sell grapefruit from Turkey in March when I know other stores have Florida produce?

now, before i start, don't get me wrong, it has great food and selection, my problem is with the staff. almost every cashier i have been in there, is always so grumpy and angry, one time my dad asked us were the tomato were, the lady sighed very hard and was kinda highering her voice at him, that was the last time we went to that cashier. also every time we go there, there is at least five cashiers open, and like only 2 of them are open, so we have to wait line line forever

Store was clean. Shelves well stocked friendly staff when I needed help and while checking out. My only complaint is the shopping carts were all jammed together and It took multiple tries to find one that I could get free to use lol

Mid-size grocery store making it easy to be in and out quickly. The pricing is average and if you shop the specials there are good values. I like the fact that it is easy to see the deals as the pricing is always well indicated.

OMG!!! I went shopping and got everything l needed. On the way out I left my wallet in the shopping cart!! Was half way across the city when I noticed it. I called them and they immediately went looking for it. An honest customer found it and turned it in. They handed it to me when I got there!!! Wonderful people!!!!

This store's layout is grouped. Following the traditional outline of "shop to the perimeter" does not apply. There is no prepared foods. The produce tends to be of higher quality and supplies a wide variety of ethic produce, For a lower quality price shopper store its higher than average and uses Coupgon and you can price match with Flipp.

What’s the point in saying you’re open at 7 :00 am when your open at 8:00 am??? Change the time. Because when people actually come here early in the morning and see that you guys are still closed and you don’t even have the decency to say we are open at 8 am it’s actually infuriating. You don’t even have a sign up that has you’re ACTUAL STORE HOURS. put up the hours that you’re actually opened it’s really not that hard.

Good place to shop. I take only one star off because they never stock enough of the more popular items on page one and two of the flyers. While I am at work , the welfare people who are buying their groceries with my hard earned tax dollars are enjoying first pick and by the time my work day is over they have been at home on the couch all day enjoying what I could have purchased if I was a non contributing member of society too. Oh well.

I really liked the social distancing signs and the order in which checkout was being done at FreshCo today. Not to mention the upbeat cashier Sarah. It's nice when you leave a store feeling that good. There should be more people like her working checkouts. Oh, and I really enjoyed the sales I got too. ;)

Very good price for groceries here. Better even than no frills I would say. However cashier's could be nicer to customers, but they do have a wine outlet after checkout so that usually evens out the experience ;)

Use to work here quit after 3 months I’m only 15 but there were a few ok people there I didn’t mind the managers one guy I worked on the floor with a old man rude as he’ll always think he’s better then u so I had enough and quit the pay was ok for 15 hours a week but everyone was ok I guess expect a few people 2 managers they know who they are and the old guy wouldn’t work here ever again I’d rather be on the street

Not so Freshco... bought a small bag of carrots yesterday and they were white, creamy and slimy when I opened them today. Stuff like that should be pulled off the shelf but I should have known better to take the package that was on top of all of the other packages that looked like it was slightly out of place. Nice guys finish last as I didn't want to ruin the nice ladies stacking job as she was restocking the shelf

Its a grocery store so what can i really say. Other than the younger kids working there are so rude. Was just trying to go out the exit and three of the workers (young boys) were coming in the exit and i had to stand there waiting...and no much as an excuse me or sorry or anything. They just looked at me like i had 3 heads! Not the first time either. Last time i asked one of them a question and they just blew me off and kept on talking to each other. Will have to start shopping at the other FreshCo...or just stick to No Frills

Usually this store is packed but it was a nice quick in and out visited today. As usual the young lady at the checkout was fast friendly and courteous. One thing to note is that the store no longer has plastic bags so you need to bring your own reusables or buy reusables from them. The did give the option of using an empty box from the bin as well.

Discount supermarket. Not the most logically organized but it is a big supporter of the local community and they have a large ethnic section which offers traditional dishes not typically found in Canadian grocery stores. It is located far from the road at the back of the parking lot.

Good prices and I like their ethnic foods selection. I'm probably at about 3.5 stars. The produce isn't the greatest so I still visit some other stores too, but overall it's a good grocery choice.

No longer shop here as the advertise falsely.They post in front of store and in store on speaker that they even beat the price. That they price match was somewhat false.I had the flyer for Zehrs and Giant Tiger and they would not accept.VERY DISHONEST.

Had the misfortune of being served by Karen on the express check out. One of the most unpleasant cashiers I've come across. Never smiles, no communication just downright miserable, don't know how she managed to secure a position dealing with the public.

To be completely honest with you this store is conveniently located surrounded by hotels, local residences parks , schools, and plenty of shopping , the store is generally clean, has maintained there shelves and produce rarely running out of thing but there lack of customer service leaves much to be desired, this store practices the use of public humiliation and defamation of character on a daily basis with out knowledge of facts or proof to what they accuse paying customers of doing and when. Not only do they not approach a customer discreetly when a suspicion of possible wrong doings on a previous date they have no problem in making accusations very public in front of other paying customers at the end of a shop. I witnessed not once but a few times where they had accused patrons of leaving the store without paying for items after the fact . I'm sorry but if you had a suspicion why would you not have confronted the patron at that moment so all things could be cleared up rather than wait weeks after the fact and multiple shops later I generally do my shopping all at once so I hit the dollar store , the pet store, the health store and grocery store in a stop shop at the same plaza. I myself have never taken anything from the stores I shop at knowingly or purposely. On few and I mean very few occasions I have forgotten an item under my cart but quickly returned to pay for the item. However the item I was so rudely and infront of many other paying customers right at the check out was accused of leaving the store with a large bag of rice under my cart on my last visit to the store however on my last visit to the store not only did I spend over $100 on groceries but I took a cashback of 150 out and I was the last customer to leave the store having a grocer walk me out and lock the door behind me as I waited for help loading my purchases into a friends vehicle we stood there convercing as he waited for my empty cart. I have had a stomach surgery that prohibits me from eating many foods such as pasta, nuts, grains, acidic foods , rice, red meats, ect. So never in the 4 years I've shopped in this area have I purchased any foods of that sort and rarely do I put anything under my cart unless its purchased from another store . So my only thought was that someone mistook the large bag of kitty litter I bought from the pet store for $13 for a bag of rice lol. But the rudeness and publicly humiliating way the cashier handled herself was appalling and quite frankly un professional. I have seen more professionalism in a 6 yr old than I did from the cashier and store management that day.. and I have seen employees fired for handling situations with more control and discretion than the way this clerk handle herself .. disgusting to say the least.. but I sure I'm not the only paying customer this staff has humiliated with no repercussion for faulty accusations and publicly humiliating a good, honest, paying customers. Beware of the quick to judge and humiliate cashier with chocolatey colored skin for she is bitter to the core!

It says "fresh"co but somehow some of the veggies are not fresh rather starting to rot and the produce clerk probably is not checking them. Also this is not the best place to buy spices as their clerks are not stocking them regularly.

The best grocery store location for Ethnic food items. While this is my go to store for produce, I find that more often than not some of the women at the check out are grumpy. My last visit I attempted to chat but the clerk ignored me while she ran my items through then walked away to talk with another employee. I'm guessing that they are not happy campers working there. I still recommend the grocery store but it's a get in/ get out experience.

The prices on some stuff is very competitive but other main items like milk, cream, and butter tend to be more expensive. The nice thing is they price match so if you do your homework ahead of time, you can really save money shopping here. The produce is pretty good but the meat selection is sketchy as the chicken and beef doesn't look the freshest. Ample parking and long store hours makes it very convenient, but don't forget to bring your quarter for the shopping cart.

Great prices, the produce 95% of the time taste great. I like this place because you can find those non-main stream products. Compared to some of the more upscale or big-name supermarkets, it holds it's own. The only downside why it's not getting a five-star is I personally find their bread section pretty poor.

This store usually has some good deals but I think they should take "fresh" out of their name because all of their baked goods are never fresh. Some of their checkout girls could use some personality & be a little more courteous to their customers. Afterall...you are in the customer service industry no ?

The store is well maintained and the prices are usually pretty good. The shopping carts are in rough shape and even though you have to use a quarter to get one it doesn't guarantee it will not have at least one messed up wheel.

Not impressed, Dempsters have a monopoly in this store Thiers or store brand are your only choice, they kicked Canada bread company out, it was the freshest and only cost a dollar. I will go to 10 different stores to fund bread rather than buy Dempsters

i am SHOCKED at the amount of people NOT wearing a mask at the ontario street location!! does the new guidelines not state that masks/face coverings are MANDATORY?!!!!!! i woke at a small business and we have even followed the polices… even during this time of downfall for the economy! I would expense more from such a great franchise like this! #disapointed

Honors mask exemption! Thank you for not discriminating against those with medical conditions that allow them a mask exemption. It is traumatizing to be chased out of establishments and not to be able to do your own shopping because you medically cannot wear a mask. Everything was easy to find, the isles didn't feel narrow with that tight feeling, the goods were properly blocked and faced, and the staff were very friendly. Face masks are mandatory to wear (to me that is very important), the necessary security was there, but was not in your face. I had a very nice shopping experience, and I hope you will too!

Express lane is for upto 16 products the cashier allows the customer having more than 22 items to scan. I only had 5 items and I asked hr to start scanning just after him but she didn't. She made me to wait until that customer packs every items in the express lane.

I went in with my injured child this summer and while my child was screaming with a bleeding head i was told by an employee to bring my backback to the cashier or shop elsewhere. The woman saw my kid bleeding but didnt care. Called the store after. Management told me not to shop there then cuz backpacks at the cash were policy. Even tho my 3 year old tripped in a pot hole in THEIR parking lot and i was racing in panicked to buy something frozen for her head. After i complained online the upper management defended both employees stating they didnt realize my screaming pouring blood child was injured and offered me a 25 dollar gift card i declined. Pathetic. 25 bucks for zero compassion over an injury which occured because of their potholes and defending lack of zero first aid and accusing me of bringing in my back pack to steal while my kid was pouring blood.

Store is good. The only this is...the older cashier at the express checkout gave me an eye when I put my items to pay. She thought I have more than 16 items (express checkout is for 1 up to 16 items). I have only 12 items. She seemed not happy & ddn't even smile.
