A great place for groceries. I think our highlights is the slightly imperfect bananas in a basket which are labeled as free for kids to eat while shopping with their parents. The place is clean and bright, items are easily located and the flow of the store works well. Staff were helpful. Only gripe is the somewhat cumbersome 4-way stop in the parking lot, it will catch you by surprise.

It may be little over priced compared to superstore and walmart, but they have good quality produce and other stuff..if you collect airmiles..there is no other place you could more airmiles than Safeway and Sobeys...

Often find myself stopping in here to use the full service BMO ATM, Canada post, or pharmacy. Staff is friendly and often it's not busy so check out is a breeze. Shopping carts are a bit weathered.

Great place to buy fresh meat, fish and VEG!!!! Has a good selection of specialty grocery items as well. Super helpful staff and has a Starbucks and ample packing. Down side: personal care section is very tired and to the side (far end) - couldn’t find toothpaste, lol. I’m sure they stick it however. Pro-tip: visit in the evening of weekends to get possibly enjoy discount on meat and fish that must be sold by the next day and freeze!

Well laid out, friendly staff but I really can't recommend Sobey's when the exact same groceries are so much cheaper in multiple places. Go to Co-op and pay 10% less, or if you want to go even cheaper, Wal-Mart. I am not talking name brands versus generic either, I mean identical items

Recently renovated so it's nice inside. It's not a large Sobeys so some of the sections are pretty small; small ethnic/international food section. Customer service and staff are always nice and helpful. Has a post office and pharmacy inside.

Sobeys is always an ok place to shop and the staff are good. Rated ab2 because of the poor quality paoer bags they sell you for .05$ .5 bags and all 5 bags broke and fell totally apart as we transferred them to the car. Otherwise, a 4 for sobeys.

The bulk section at this location is second to none. Lots of organics, including spices, which is hard to find. I like that they have a self service scale for the bulk section so it saves you time at the cashier, and gives you the option to use self checkout, but also they informed me that they will allow you to bring your own containers for bulk purchases and they can tare them at the front! Could use a better organic produce selection, lots are packaged in plastic, which I personally try to avoid.

Used Sobeys Entertaining to cater a luncheon. Delicious!!! Lovely presentation, tasty sandwiches,wraps and nice selection. Cheese board had a nice selection of different types, 5 I believe. My guests were impressed!

Zero stars for customer service last night. After 12 hours of renovations, I went to get milk and sandwich meat. At 930 I stood in front of the deli and watched the guy clean his meat cutter machine. He looked up once and didnt say anything. So I gave him a minute. My husband came up behind me and asked what the hold up was. I shrugged, so tired. He asked the guy if the deli was open and the guy said "technically". But didnt offer us his services or ask what we wanted so we left. Wasn't really impressed as we made the trip to get sandwich meat and were basically told we couldn't get any because he started cleaning his machine half an hour too early.

They have specials(loss leaders) like any grocery store. Once you are in the store, you shop to your grocery list and also collect Air Miles especially when you spend $100.00 to get 100 air miles + other air miles on special items. It surprisingly accumulates pretty quick instead of 1 mile for every other time just like at the pumps. With all the grocery store competitors , Nobody gives anything away!! They just get back somewhere else ????????

We've had to switch to the Sobeys as our local Safeway closed. I have to say I am not impressed. One: they have half the stock the Safeway would have. 2: the checkers have no idea how to pack groceries 3: the produce and meat isn't nearly as good. To say we are unhappy, is an understatement. But it's better than the Superstore and the FoodFare, and carries Lucerne products, so we have no other choice. The other Safeway, unfortunately, isn't convenient to us.

I was in there last week trying to find my mom something decent for dinner than what they serve at her Personal Care Home as the food is the same each week. They're a bit of a smaller location so they don't carry all the bread and produce products that some of the other locations have (like Sage Creek) but they have enough of all the necessities and great staff!

O. M. G. I LOVE this store, especially since the most recent upgrades.. It now has a beautiful produce section, a Starbucks so you can drink and shop, a large bulk bin section (with a super fun self serve label printer!), a pretty large natural food section, and the best variety of items I have seen at any sobeys in the city. The pharmacy section now has several aisles of natural /alternative Remedies including tinctures, homeopathic medicine, and bach flower remedies!!! I'm so excited to live close to this store and be able to visit regularly.

Sobeys is an excellent place to shop, they have fantastic selection and tend to be pretty reasonably priced. Business is always booming and the service is always excellent. You tend to beable to find some stuff here that you may have trouble finding at say superstore. They also have a post office, pharmacy, bakery and a deli. Located at the corner of Bishop Grandin and St Anne's its a staple of the community.

This is a bigger Sobeys than a few others I've been to. They carry a lot more "specialty" foods (health food section) as compared to other locations. And they don't as easily run out of sale items that are in the flyer. I shopped on a Sunday at another Sobeys and they ran out of many items I was shopping for. I had to go to another Sobeys, so I went to this location and found everything I was looking for.

I shop at this location frequently. I find the staff here to be very friendly and helpful (there are a couple of exceptions, but I avoid them). The produce is very fresh and "eye-appealing". The pharmacy at this location is also "my" pharmacy. Customer service is the same at the pharmacy as you will find throughout the store.
