This store is doing a great job of social distancing. The entrance is guarded with limited entry, and you are immediately offered sanitizer at the door and wipes to take with you. Just about everything currently (April 17) is in stock, but that changes pretty fast. Cashiers are protected and so are you, I will continue to shop here.

Is it not enough for your chain to have one store closed down for cleaning because of COVID? Unless you enforce the rules in your stores, it’s going to happen again

They used to have a wonderful international section. Now the shelves are filled with vegetable oil, Sriracha sauce, a few snacks and not much else. Our trip to the produce section for celery resulted in the most appalling, mingy, broken dog ends of celery we have ever seen. We won't be back. We were able to find raw kombucha so 1 star.

I would not recommend going here until covid is over or longer. The line was to the back of the store and moving very slow. I get that there are covid protocols to follow but then you need to have more cashiers working. So many empty tills with out cashiers.

I am a superstore fan, and this review is totally unfair so don't judge the store by this. It was my birthday and I slipped in and grabbed some steaks to bbq and a pre made salad. I grabbed the one with tomatoes, cheese, bacon bits and chicken. Unfortunately when the steaks were done and we went to mix the salad...the chicken was completely rotten. It smelled very bad. My birthday dinner was buggered and it was too late to do much about it. We left town for home that morning so I couldn't go in and inform the manager. My bad. I know they would have corrected it. The problem is not with superstore, but with an employee that put together the salad with bad meat. It was so bad that there is no way the employee did not realize in my opinion. Uncool salad person, uncool ????.

Superstore has changed tremendously over the years. It was once my ideal and go-to grocery store. Lately, however, I've been exploring other options and making attempts to avoid this location, even if it means driving out of my way and shopping elsewhere. During one of my recent trips, I asked an employee who was working on the floor for assistance in answering a question I had about price-matching. When I finished speaking, the employee stared at me with a blank face until I spoke up and attempted to rephrase my question. I assumed she had not heard me properly the first time. When I asked again, she simply smiled and struggled to explain that she had no idea what I was asking. It was then that I realized she was having difficulties understanding me because she did not speak English. It made me feel very uncomfortable, as I had no choice but to awkwardly walk away and attempt to find another employee out on the floor. I understand diversifying the company, but hiring an individual that has zero ability to communicate with customers or comprehend basic questions is a terrible business practice. Superstore should increase their hiring standards, as it's a very unpleasant and inconvenient situation to find yourself in when an employee is unable to answer a basic question because of a language barrier. During another visit to Superstore, my boyfriend and I wanted to purchase a bottle opener from the new liquor store that had just opened its doors. The item scanned at a cheaper price than what was listed on the shelf. Instead of honouring the price it scanned at, the cashier made every effort to call his superior in order to change the price in the system and charge me full. I wasn't about to argue over a few dollars, but having worked in the customer service industry (and specifically as a cashier), I'm aware that it's compulsory to honour the price of what the item scans at, unless it scans higher than the posted price. The cashier went through an abundance of trouble by calling his manager and forcing customers to wait in line, instead of accepting that the item scanned at a few dollars less. On a more positive note, Superstore has some of the lowest prices on the market, as well as a great selection of meat and seafood. However, the interior of the store could be cleaned and maintained a lot better, as it has a grimy feel when you're browsing around. I will continue to shop at Superstore as long as the prices are lower than its competitors, but my experiences have been largely negative and it's becoming apparent that the company does not operate as well as it used to.

WTH have you mixed with the hand sanitizer? It smells like a 8yr old just found grandpa's stash of aftershave from WW2 and ran hog wild. Seriously, STOP! 3 days and 13 showers later I could still smell the remnants of it on me and that's after purifying my clothes with holy water before giving up in dispair and burning them to save the closet. Was this an elaborate ruse designed to sell more chocolates and flowers? Because that it did. I had to buy both to releave my partner's suspicions I'd been to Hotel California when all I wanted was some ham and cheese buns. You had more stars until that hand sanitizer debacle of 2021 so let that be a lesson in not taking people's sense of smell for granted. The object is to get people to use hand sanitizer, not give them PTSD seeing it.

It's hard to argue that this isn't an incredible grocery store. There is SO much selection. Pretty much any specialty ingredient you could be looking for can be found here and usually at the lowest possible price. It has underground parking and the staff manage to handle the insane crowd of people which is seemingly always there. If there is one complaint, it is that very few staff even know where to find specific items in the store or lack the time/effort to help you search. Bottom line; you get good prices and a great selection but you're on your own! ????

This is my go to shopping place. People who roll their eyes at Superstore haven't been in a Superstore recently. I find their stores very appealing to shop at. Produce is fresh, plentiful and laid out properly. Meat is very good quality (Costco still #1 but Superstore 2nd). Aisles are wide, staff can be found to help you, place is clean and organized, checkouts are plentiful especially on the weekend with all lanes open. THE PRICES ARE THE BEST BY FAR. I can't believe someone goes to Safeway (next door) and spends $1 to $3 per item more for the exact same product. We use the Superstore pharmacy and they are great to ensure we get orders refilled with no work on our part. Their pharmacist explains everything we need to know if we like. Superstore has come a long way in 20 years. I do miss PC banking and the Gas Bar changes have been less than optimal. Superstore used to be the last to raise gas prices and the first to drop and now Mobil has taken over and they not the same at all. I've switched to Costco gas for no hassle member discount using my debit card.

My favourite place to shop. Unfortunately I have to drive 40 minutes from Port Colborne to St. Catharines to shop there, so I usually drop in when I have to go for tests at the 4th Avenue Hospital. I love the fresh baked goods - mmmm mmm chocalate croissants - and the large Joe Fresh clothing section - where i buy my 1 yr old grand daughter the cutest outfits at bargain prices.

Worst experience in my life. I've never been so offended before. The government says you shouldn't be discriminated against if you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, but the staff working in Superstore have another opinion. If you have a medical condition, Go home, Do not come to us, even after they saw my note from my doctor. So if you have a medical condition, they has the right to humiliate you. I will tell the story of how I was insulted to everyone I know, so that they know how the Superstore treats people with medical conditions.

Usually shop at the superstore, but will avoid this one for a while. I was in line for self check out and someone had just left one of the kiosks. The attendant said to me "go ahead" but she had not cleaned it from the previous customer. I asked her if she could clean it first, and she gave me a look with a lot of attitude, and then proceeded to give it one wipe on the scanner - did not clean the debit machine or anything else. I wholeheartedly appreciate that anyone who works in a grocery store these days takes on a lot of exposure, but that aside, this person could not have cared less about anyone's health. We all need to do better.

I am also miffed at a sense of indifference here. I like the fact there are a few drinks and yogurts I purchase here whenever I am close by, but the store always has plenty of traffic that I cannot seem to get around? I think it might be the sorting and lanes from the front door in...I've never liked that. The store does have many different shopping choices including hardware and a section for toys (which my little one will not let me pass lol) Although it always seems to be stocked or 'topped up when I arrive. My only knock has been long lines and bad walkways...Firm 3 stars

Dirtiest store that I've been into in a long time. It's the middle of the day, they are out of brocolli, the lettuce and lemons are rotten, and they guarantee that all lanes are open from 10-6 on weekends. Three lanes were closed and customer 'service' wouldn't back up their guarantee. This store should is an embarrassment to the Superstore brand. I'm sure Galen Weston would be horrified by the current condition of this store. I won't be back

Update: I decided to try again since they replied to my first rating and seemed so eager to solve the problem....I assumed maybe they've replaced the bags at self checkout. The only difference is now they give you a handful of bags before you start ringing in your groceries. Hence, still a waste of time. I then spent 2 minutes trying to hang the bags on the holders before ringing in my groceries. For a few bags that weren't being paid for apparently, this is the inconvenience you gotta deal with. They're bags, they were given out for free for years, it can't be that big of a deal to lose a few bags. I am definitely not returning. They've now removed all bags from self checkout, so it defeats the purpose of going through self checkout. I go to self checkout because I can scan and bag all at once, now I get a handful of bags after you've started scanning already and then you have to try to bag things without a platform to do it on. Not sure I'll bother returning anymore, I'll go to Walmart instead.

I would like to give a 5 star rating. They had what I wanted, the store was fine up to the end. However the lines today were all ridiculously long and the cashiers were unable to keep up. For a Wednesday afternoon I was not impressed. Also she forgot to ask me if I wanted the deal of the day, so I asked for it right before I used my credit card. She said she didn't need to ask until the transaction was complete. She lied right to my face. Then asked me over and over if I wanted it. I said no that isn't fair and walked away. I regularly buy the item of the day and I am quite aware that she should have offered me the item for free. Unfortunately being lied to by a cashier over a promotion makes the promotion useless.

This location can be quite packed at rush hr times, a little on the dirtier side in the winter, but all in all it's not a bad superstore. It's a bit far from the north end of St Albert but I believe there building a new one on the North soon to be ready which is awesome. Staff could be a bit friendlier but most of them are nice and helpful. The lady at the bakery is super nice and always gives our kids free chocolate chip cookies which is super nice.

What can I say? It's Superstore - parking sucks, they've designated a ridiculous amount of spots for their online shopping pickup, both above ground and in the underground parking. With one exception, I've yet to see a single car in any of the spots, let alone all 20 or 30 of them being utilized. Ridiculous.

This New Real Canadian Superstore just of 24th on 160th in South Surrey is hands down one of the most AMAZING RCSS's out there...from the beautiful outdoor landscaping, to the outdoor cart stalls, the entrance, the escalator for us Shoppers & one for our buggies that lead to and from the immaculate underground, to the WINE Section, Medical Clinic, and of course the friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous staff members... I almost feel as tho I am getting the kind CUSTOMER SERVICE that you pay for in the higher prices at the local Competitor Grocery Stores...I know all about the "Customer Service" that the Staff is supposed to offer customers at the local competitors as my Husband worked at one for 20yrs... At this particular RCSS, the Staff here gives the same level of Customer Service, if not better... Everytime I shop at this particular store, I feel as though I matter! It has been the reason I travel an extra 30min each way to do my shopping!!

Superstore has the best prices for Almond Breeze and other non dairy beverages in town. The last time that I checked the price for Almond Breeze it was $2.50 each. WOW They have a huge selection of BULK items too. It's a great place to do your ONE STOP shopping for bulk, produce, breads, etc. I also love the Middle Eastern and Indian spices and grocery section. I like their Asian and Middle Eastern cheese selection and specialty produce.

Covid measures vary from poor to good. Unfortunately you never know if the store will be a "free for all" or if staff will be handling the crowds. Profit first I guess? But more importantly their partner "PC Financial" credit card is a sham with poor customer service staffed by employees who obviously lack empowerment or even the interest to deal with issues involving basic common sense. Do yourself a favour and get your credit card with a legit bank or credit union! We wish we did... Abysmal/nonexistant customer service at outfits like PC/Loblaws/Shoppers are the reason Amazon is KILLING bricks-and-mortar retail. Your size does not equal strength - the consumer is always searching for a better mousetrap.

I am disabled and its hurts me very much to walk. I went to get one of their mobility scooter which are right inside the door. No keys in them. You now have to walk to customer service to get a key and then walk back to the scooters. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. So now I am hurting really bad and need to get a few groceries. Half of the stuff I wanted they didn't have in stock. The shelves were empty in places. I find they are over priced with a lot of stuff too compared to other stores. I also needed help with something and couldn't find any staff to help me. I don't shop here often and now i remember why!!

Okay so I'm a huge fan of the Loblaws brand of companies in general so maybe I'm biased, but I just thoroughly enjoy RCSS's. They are big and spacious, they usually have a wide variety of specialty items in the international aisle, Joe Fresh is usually decently stocked with clearance items which is nice... it's all around a good experience each time I go.

Had a big issue with purchasing groceries at the store with instacart (not the stores fault). I was redirected to customer service and had the best customer service I had ever had. Lynne was super helpful trying to figure out the issue with instacart even though we couldn’t get it resolved she saved me a huge headache from dealing with my own customers. I was shopping in your store today (Oct 10) and was incredibly frustrated by the number of people who were not wearing masks. When I spoke to customer service they said that your store recently stopped handing out masks. I disagree with this policy and will not shop in your stores until this changes. The timing of this change is incredibly poor! The government recently plead to students, families and teachers to be extra vigilant over the thanksgiving weekend. As a result my family felt that we were not able to gather in one home for a Thanksgiving meal. If I can’t gather with my siblings and parents, people should not be able to go to the store and have the option to wear a mask. I know you’ll likely defer this to government (and I will be addressing them with a letter as well) however your store policies have changed within the past weeks to offer less protection instead of more, all whole cases in our city rise and people are asked to return to their immediate family bubbles. You are making poor decisions for the health of your customers and our community! The signs throughout your store state that masks are mandatory so I shopped there believing that I was protected from others. However, because masks are essentially optional and not provided, many people seemed to feel they didn’t need to wear them. Take your signs down or provide and enforce masks. I purchase groceries at your store at least once/week and there were significantly more people not wearing masks this week as compared to last week. In addition in recent weeks, cashiers have not been asking customers to maintain distance at checkout. It seems that the rules throughout your stores have become optional guidelines that people can choose to ignore if they choose. This is wrong. As a result of your poor management, you have lost my business.

The point system there is easy to use, the underground parking is fantastically spacious and well lit, as well as the store itself.

The best thing I can say about this place is that everything is well organized within its own category. The only con about this shopping store is a bit more expensive than other stores. Sometimes it gets a bit too crowded, and in these times I don't think thats a good thing. However, wearing mask is mandatory and everyone is socially distanced from the others.

get your on sale swimwear for Liard hot springs, stock up on Canadian exclusive chips and cadbury candy, get some jerky and five hour energy for the road at a decent price. Parking lot big enough to turn a truck and trailer around in and easy to get in and out of, with the far out parking spaces usually empty enough so you can park like schmuck and take a bunch of spaces. Ketchup and all dressed chips, Mr. big bars, and maple cookies loaded into the truck and you're on your way.

The computer at the till keeps crashing. This store is going downhill fast. Only good thing is the produce department.

We were stunned by a rude lady wearing a gray tank top today. We are not aware that only 2 person per family can do grocery today, no employee told us up front initially that this is what they’re procedure now a days nor we noticed a memo prior coning in superstore. There were 3 of us and this is the first time we are actually doing grocery here again. This lady started firing words at us, all of us were stunned. It seems like she is an employee, I’m hoping that she’s not a Manager because the way she fired the conversation is very disrespectful. I am a part of a Health Care Team and this is my day off to buy items for myself and my siblings. There’s always a way on how to respectfully inform shoppers the limit of people coming in to the shop, or even to start an informative conversation. It’s sad when this kind of staff think they can be rude and think shoppers are not “following” the flow where in fact not all shoppers are informed about this. Suggestion: Tell your employees up front to ask shoppers coming in and respectfully tell them that only 2 person per family can only shop in superstore. Simple. No need for stinky words coming from an unrespectful employee. Sorry if we are not aware of this “shoppers flow” today. Sorry, im going back to costco and shop there. Staff are more respectful there and they know how to treat their customers amid this Pandemic.

This store was incredibly busy with absolutely NO attempt at traffic control (i.e. one-way aisles). Our cashier rushed us through the line without even waiting for the person before us to finish bagging their groceries. The underground parking is full of garbage and is just a disgusting mess. Oh, and prices are ridiculously high. Definitely NOT coming back here unless some changes are made.

Worst customer service. I some discrepancy with PC Optimum points, when I went to talk to customer service, there was lady Andrea on the counter and without even listening to me she started shouting and yelling me on my face as soon as she heard that I have question about optimum points. When I asked her to call manager on duty instead, who was Michelle, Andrea already lied to her that we were shouting at her. When hiring people, Superstore should atleast not hire illmannered people. If you are frustrated at home, stay at home and don’t relieve your personal frustration on customers. Superstore doesn't give away stuff free to us, we pay for it so we have the right to question too. I would not recommend anyone going for shopping at Superstore and niether would go there myself.

There is honestly everything that one could possibly want and/or need in this well organized store. Their produce is always fresh, as is their bakery and baked goods. Every week there is a free give-away for making a minimum purchase of $225 or more. I have been impressed with the majority of their choices.....and any that I wasn't in need of, already had, or don't use....is easily donated. This place is often busy, but it's not overcrowded, and the employees here are always available for assistance. All of the registers are guaranteed to be operational both Saturday and Sunday and the cashiers are pleasant and helpful. There are weekly sales, coupons and fliers provided as well as posted reminders on the shelves of select products about the points system rewards for those who collect optimum points. Aside from carrying President's Choice as their main promoted and represented brand, there are a plethora of others as well that they carry. From Natural Health/Organic to International cuisine and quite a few of cultural foods. They don't carry any FreeFrom beef, their FreeFrom meat is predominantly Pork. The Angus ground beef is quite good, and is AAA select.....however it would be much better if it were Free From as well. They carry a good selection of chicken, which are FreeFrom and other organic farm sources. They have young duck too....but I've never tried it. So far, I have only seen one product that they do not carry which is Coffee Mate Bliss (my hubby's favorite), they have a great selection of housewares, toiletries, kid's toys, individual products and incidentals for everyone of the house- young or old. Joe Fresh kids has great quality apparel which is trendy, convenient and affordable. If this place had a hot bar/salad bar/soup and sandwich bar and cafe....it would be perfect. But nevertheless it is pretty darn great as is.

This is a big, new store with tons of parking available, including underground parking so you don't have to go out in the rain! I was there on a Saturday around dinner time, and there were multiple checkouts with no line at all, so go check it out before it gets really busy like every other Superstore in the Lower Mainland!

Great staff. I love the selection even though there are a few things I couldn't find. Lately, however, putting a deposit down on the cart has added unneeded time and stress to my shopping trip. When I go with three young kids fishing for change while keeping them contained is not fun. If I send my husband he doesn't get everything we need because quite frankly we use credit cards for everything these days and don't carry the $1 deposit. Please rethink this system ... or I'll have to shop elsewhere.

This is a very large grocery store with a generous drug and cosmetic section. They have a pharmacy which is very convenient. The pharmacy staff are very friendly. They also sell clothing (Joe Fresh), and dishes, towels, etc. I'm not crazy about the food portion of the store because I find they don't have a lot of the things that you would assume would be in a large store. I end up going to Sobeys which is down the road in order to find the things that I need. What I like about it however are the wide aisles and their fresh produce and deli area. They also have an excellent bread section.

Earlier today, when I went grocery shopping and finished checking out my items, I was double checking my receipt. As I went through it, I was stunned that Superstore had charged me an item, that I didn't purchase. I immediately headed back to the reception desk to resolve the problem. They finally figured out that they had put the wrong code on the wrong item. Finally, they adjusted my receipt and refunded my money. By writing this review, I encourage that all customers should double check their receipts to make sure that you aren't getting charged for the wrong thing. This can lead to confusion and loss of money.

Standard issue grocery store part of mega corporate company . Generally well stocked clean staff are pretty friendly especially when you are a regular. Some of the younger staff could learn a bit more from veterans there.. smile be courteous and don't point at items or shelves. Walk an elderly person to the item or better yet get it for them if it's big bulky. Those are the moments people appreciate.

So much selection but Oh So BIG! It seems you can never make it a quick in and out grocery shopping. Line-ups to pay at the cash are always way too long. The self check out is antiquated and not very user friendly. Luckily they always have an employee to help... when they are not busy helping someone else. And it's getting more and more expensive to buy food there.

I shop for my weekly groceries at this location. Usually, I shop inside and the store is always clean and organized. However, when I shop inside, I rarely have any store associates greet me or assist me. Just today, I used their PC Express for a grocery pick-up and I was blown away with how friendly their customer service was! The store associate that I spoke with over the phone and the store associate who brought out my groceries - BOTH went out of their way to be friendly and professional. I understand with the pandemic, store associates may feel less inclined to greet and speak with customers (inside the store) but a simple "Good Morning" etc. goes along way! After my PC Express experience, I left feeling happier because of those two store associates who made effort in being friendly.

For the most part this is a fantastic grocery store. The parking lot is huge, so parking isn't an issue. They have a very wide selection of products, mainly because it's a huge store, the drawback being it is difficult to just run in and grab one or two items quickly. I don't think I've ever had a problem with bad food (mold, stale, etc), but it tends to be more expensive than most other grocery stores. Compared to Superstores in other towns or cities, this one was designed to be nicer. It feels brighter, cleaner, more open. I just miss the days when you bought groceries, they were bagged for you as well. Going through a check out, having to bag yourself can be a real pain, especially if there's a line. On the other hand, it seems like they consistently have more cashier lanes open than any other local store.

My wife and minor student went to this store a week ago Tuesday. A customer in line became very hostile and threatening. Yelling every four letter word to both my wife and student. My wife asked immediately for security and store manager, which the staff refused. The staff then had the nerve to tell my wife if she didn't stop asking they would phone the police and have them detained. Phones head office, their facebook page, and talked with an assistance manager who assured me that the manager would call back. He tried the next day but I was at the doctors with my wife over the incident. He left a VM that he would call back and did not. Customers should be aware that their staff is poorly trained in providing assistance or calling store security. The man was waiting outside the store when my wife left and once again verbally assaulted her. Interesting that Galen Weston can send our emails on how great there doing during this time, but in reality you are UNSAFE in some of their stores. Now over a month and no one has contacted me, the manager just does not care what goes on at this store.

I wouldn’t recommend their “fresh” seafood section as it isn’t well stocked and somewhat suspect. The organization of the store is a little wonky and some products can be difficult to locate. Waited over 15 minutes at checkout for them to find a bulk code for a 1 cup worth of pecans that cost about $1.79 because they made a mistake on the codes. FYI you should have a policy that allows customers to have items free if they are waiting that long and clogging the line. Many other stores do. I asked for a manager and they brought in a random from the back who couldn't do anything and was quite obviously drugged. Just a suggestion, make sure your "managers" are not visibly high while on the job.

It's my go to place for grocery shopping, mostly because the selection is usually good and even if it's a bit pricier, I collect PC points from gas and it's a good way to spend them. If Saint Thomas got a No Frills, I would likely shop there as it's a bit cheaper, but this location is always clean, usually stocked well and pretty quick. My biggest problem with this place is the people who leave their shopping carts on the grass beside their parking spot because they are too lazy to put it away. This is where I do my regular weekly grocery shopping. The prices are fair - a little less than some other shops. The selection of products is good - e.g. nice selection of 'international' items. The produce is fresh. There's a nice selection of seafood and fish. I've signed up for the PC Optimum points and usually collect enough points over the year for a free week of groceries for our December holidays.

My mom and I have been shopping here since we moved to New Sudbury (from the Valley). They have a great layout, great service and are very organized. Unlike many grocery stores in Sudbury, they have tons of plant-based/vegan options in the health section which is awesome. I've been ordering online during COVID and their website (PC Express I think) is user friendly and pick-up is never more than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend them!

Went through Self Checkout today, Cashier tells me to “make sure I check everything through, we have no Security Guards to check your stuff”. I asked “out of the 6 Self checkouts, did she ask/tell any of the other 5? Told the Manager I would appreciate if the Staff kept their comments to themselves. Truly a great and fitting name "superstore"...this place has everything and even has tons of allergy friendly options that are priced extremely well and even cheaper than Southeast Alaska. I go to this location every Saturday to do some grocery shopping for my grandmother. The Wine Rack inside the store is very convenient as I can get my meme her wine(maybe even some for myself ????) and groceries all in the same place. The Winners is also a great addition to the store! I pop in there every week to see if they have anything new that I may like. There is also a place to get food inside the building(the name of it escapes me at the moment) that makes a pretty good panzaratti. It's a fantastic place, almost like a miniature mall. I highly recommend it for grocery shopping because if you happen to need other things, chances are that you can get them at Winners or one of the other stores inside the building.

Convenient hours for those that do shift work and can't make it to the grocery store between the times of 9 to 5. Friendly staff who are knowledgable and will direct you in the right area for the products you're looking for!! The store is ALWAYS clean and while it may be a bit pricey, you can always keep your eyes peeled for AMAZING SALES that this store provides on a daily basis!! ???? Huge parking lot with spaces for the handicapped, mother's/father's with children or expecting mom's ♡ They also have an area for FRESHLY MADE food & soup (which ALWAYS seems to be absolutely amazing EVERY SINGLE TIME!!). I'd recommend this grocery store to anyone looking to purchase food for themselves or their families! ????????????????

The place to go for any groceries. Very easy to navigate through the aisle and well labelled aisle which makes it easy to quickly pick up needed goods and dashed out as soon as possible. The self check out is the real deal for me as I don't need to wait for too long to check out and leave the store.

Well stocked store with a large selection and decent prices (though still noticeably higher prices than No-Frills). There is almost always a cheap No-Name alternative to the more expensive name brand products.However, with the exception of weekends, there are very rarely more than a handful of checkouts open, even if the lines are long. I prefer to use the self checkout as it saves a lot of time, even when I have a full cart. It is also VERY difficult to find an employee in the aisles. I have made many cross-store trips in an attempt to find someone to answer a question or find an item. This wastes my time and is why I prefer shopping at a smaller store like No-Frills.

I would give this store 5 stars if it wasn’t for The unflattering and unfriendly folks working here? Not helpful at all…never see the MGR. walking the store? They need to find people happy to work! Somehow most of the register folks won’t lift a finger to make your shopping experience a good one! Smile more! Help costumers? Other than the employee behavior…it’s a nice store if you don’t interact or do self checkout!

The superstore offers rewards if you spend over $250. The last time it was a package of bacon. As a vegan, We asked if we could substitute a package of bacon for points as they give points once they run out of the promotional item. They unfortunately said they couldn't substitute for us. They told us to take the package of bacon and sell it. I feel we were discriminated against. As customers who spend over $250 a week at the superstore I feel this was a insensitive and unprofessional approach. Needless to say we will be talking to someone who can hopefully remedy this for us. Or we will stop shopping there.

I'm only really here because my extra foods closed up. They have basically the same things, but different prices and the aisle signage is completely random. Items will be listed but not exist, others will be omitted from the sign but have huge sections devoted to them. My only advice is to down every aisle to find what you need.

Store is clean, they are very careful about monitoring sanitation and keep buggies & baskets disinfected, good supply of wipes at front door. Produce is fresh and well stocked. Feel very safe shopping here.

A terrible experience at Superstore In Whitehorse. A lot of shelves were empty, there was dirt and filth all over the floors, the bulk foods dept have no cards to mark price or item number and staff didn't know where to find item cards. We normally shop Superstore in Vernon, BC and we are very pleased with the Vernon store. Our experience with the Whitehorse store tells us to never return to Superstore.

Cheap but always busy, messy, things sold out. The produce selection is usually terrible and in bad shape. Best to shop here for toiletries, clothing, housewares, canned goods, pantry items and frozen food. Fresh food is better quality elsewhere.

This is the best Superstore out of all in Surrey. It's the newest, quietest, and cleanest. This bright store has the usual options but less international food selection due to the demographic of South Surrey. Regardless, within the last 3 years it has gotten significantly busier. Although the store advertises all checkout lanes open Saturday and Sunday, this only holds true for Sunday and days like Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, etc. A lot of the time there are long lines at the checkout because there are not enough checkout lanes open. Usually on Friday afternoons when I normally go shopping, the store is low in stock in the produce, dairy, and bakery departments. The store honours price matching which is extremely helpful! I would recommend using the FlashFood app for extra savings, to pick up food pirchased from the app visit customer service. The washrooms are average in terms of cleanliness.

This location has issues with keeping items in stock. Often, shelves will be empty with items out of stock for weeks at a time. There are also frequent errors with listed shelf price and the actual price. They have price checker machines throughout the store, but most of the time they are offline. The worst location of all the Edmonton and area Superstores.

This store is ok for the bare essentials. Produce is the same as Food Basics make sure you eat it quick after you buy it. Red meat selection is very slim in the afternoon and the ground beef before date is like the next day. You can price match there which is good and its not too busy in late evening.

Overall click and collect pick of groceries seems good. Staff seem friendly. I'm fairly annoyed with the click and collect service. Whenever there is a substitution and I ask that they take it off, they never take it off, never, I then have to make time and return the product. The whole reason I use click and collect is so I don't have to come into the store, talk about wasting a customer's time. Service is slower than other locations. I also suspect that they are understaffed as I've ordered groceries and have had to pick up the next day because my order wasn't ready in a reasonable amount of time.

However I am so tired of the new pricing gimmicks. buy two for a lesser price or more for one. why would anyone buy two cans of ...black beans when you only need one? why would I want to increase my costs just to be a a 30 cent off deal. enough already! This place is caring less and less about sanitizing than most big super shopper centres.The food here is always fresh but the prices are slightly above average. Getting back to sanitation.. it would be nice if they brought back the greeter, the person who stands at the entrance to dispense the sanitizing product...it adds a "caring" component that makes one feel safer.

There’s a lot going on..! Maybe it’s the isolation hermit in me, but wow.. a little scary. The store had precautions/restrictions going on, but no floor signage. As a result, people were all over the place & social distance wasn’t always being kept. Shocking, I know.. but we need to do better. The store itself, lots of selection, good variety, and a couple sections made me want to come back & try some food items out. I just got what I needed this trip, but maybe next paycheque?

I had been to superstore Sarnia today at around 10.30 pm, the lady who did my billing was extremely rude with me and overcharged me for my onions and eggplant. As the onions I bought were white onions pack and she charged me for loose price and for my eggplant she charged but never gave me. Thought the other staff member was kind so he took off the money for eggplants but I am still overcharged for the onions. It’s just about the 3-4 dollars but her behaviour and sense of responsibility is not acceptable. I will never come to superstore ever.
