I've been going to this remarkable place for years! The owners are amazing and extremely helpful! Not only do they guide me in how to prepare a certain dish, they also take the time to show me where to find the ingredients necessary. My wife, 2 year old son and 5 year old daughter always enjoy going to the market. Absolutely love this place.... good food, good advice and extremely accommodating. This is a great place to get all sorts of weird Asian food and ingredients. It's the only store I'm aware of that sells chrysanthemum tea. I recommend going here and buying chrysanthemum tea. The only thing I don't like is that you have to pay with cash or debit - no credit cards allowed. The name of the store is also difficult to remember. I was trying to look it up to review it and I was like, "What's the place called again? Ngoa Hoy?" I don't even know how to pronounce that, so I just call it "that Asian store on Albert Street".

This was a great store. It was super clean and not fishy stinky like most Asian stores in Big cities. They even have vegan sauces and vegan Asian items. I was able to find spices I needed to make chai lattes with cardamom pods and star anise. They had a great selection of utensils and other fun kitchen items. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Very diverse selection of Asian foods from multiple countries. It is just a moderate size but they do a have a very broad selection of popular products from each country. There is a wide variety of things ranging from beauty aids to fresh produce and meats. I am writing this from the perspective of a white person who has only visited Japan but I did find most of the things that I really liked from there including softdrinks and candy. I also found virtually every single ingredient for every Asian dish that I have attempted to cook. I think that even if you don't cook Asian food that it is worth the trip even if you just end up buying snack foods and softdrinks. They are often very different from Canadian ones even if they have similar names. The staff are friendly and helpful and don't mind if you ask even silly sounding questions.

The best place in Regina to get some non-western groceries. They have a great selection of Vietnamese foods including some of the top imported fish sauce brands. Their fresh foods are also good. It's the only place in town I've ever seen green papaya for sale.

Also the best place to get Asian cutlery, utensils, and dishes. Produce section has lots of Chinese veggies. They have a Western section and food as well. Easy to buy most, if not all, of your groceries here.

They gentleman behind the counter saw that I was planning on making sushi and pointed out that I had picked out the wrong rice vinegar and showed me the right bottle. He could have just ignored it but he said "He didn't want my sushi to taste funny". The staff is always helpful!

Love, love this STORE! We have been going here for the past 5yrs and it never fail to give us the excitement to come back for more. Over the years they have been adding more varieties and selection of Asian food. There'sa little bit of everything! I love Japanese food and they have ALL that I need. The staffs are all friendly and easy to conversate with. We may not buy there every month but for sure they remembers us and always gives us some free items.

Nice little asian grocery store . Amazingly, they have every single asian grocery items. They stock mostly chinese and Vietnamese grocery items. They do stock very basic Japanese, Korean, and Philippines grocery as well. Prices are very reasonable compare to big grocery chains. The store opens 7 days a week with much improved customer service. It is definitely my preferred asian grocery store.
