Suggested that I go to a store that may not have as much traffic. Suggested a store and I could phone them to find out if they had the product. They had the phone number if I required it. The suggested store had the product. This is customer service.

The store was very clean, and well stocked. When I went there were not a lot of people, which made the shopping a pleasant experience. The bakery had a selection of French bread, and I will be back for the Garlic loaf another day. My only disappointment is consistently the produce section. Selection is lacking in comparison to other grocery stores, and the items they do have are quite sad looking. The zucchinis I bought looked very wrinkled, and small. Overall prices are reasonable staff are very friendly and the selection is adequate.

Had to buy a cream for my child's severe diaper rash and no one working here seemed to have a clue what I was looking for. When I finally found one myself, the price at the cash register was double than what was listed at the shelf. The cashier (Hailey) was extremely ignorant about it. I was not in the mood to waste my time arguing with a high-school dropout and needed the cream for my kid so bought it, and left this useless establishment. Its the last time I will be shopping here.

We live out of town and were just passing through the other day on our way to Calgary. We stopped here for lunch and I was surprised how nice it was. The sushi counter was wonderful and the staff were all really nice. The produce section was hands down the nicest produce department I've ever seen. I had a terrible experience here.. I bought garbage bags.. I went to self check out.. I scanned the garbage bags and a different price came up.. so the lady and I walked back to where I got them.. she was so rude.. we scanned the price and it came back as the price that I thought it was. it was cheaper, so I was getting it for scanning code of practice. So the lady fixed it so I would get it as scanning code of practice. I thought she completed the order I was getting ready to walk out of the store and she's like you didn't finish your order. I was like Oh I thought you completed it. she's like no you need your receipt I'm like oh my goodness okay so I completed the order and she's like don't forget your receipt or you'll get stopped when you walk out. As she was right at the front door made me feel like I was stealing. Not impressed with the treatment I received from this store

I normally have a decent experience at this location but I was embarrassed for the treatment I received tonight. I was shopping around 630 with my kid and had a full cart going through the check out. I was hardly greeted, rudely dismissed when I said I'd prefer paper bags and was given two boxes to fill and manage. I ended up having to box the items myself while the cashier tossed items down the lane at me and two other employees stood beside me chatting. Absolutely horrible experience this evening and I'm hoping no one else had to deal with that.

One of the best treats for me is the ready to eat pizzas,lasagnes,sheppards pies,,ready to eat cooked and hot pot roasts, chickens and hams. Nice supermarket...for those from the state's, it reminds me of a slightly smaller version of a Kroger. It's the size & shape of the "good ol" neighborhood grocery that are sadly disappearing. It has a terrific Deli & freshly cooked/prepared food counter...very nice assortment of fresh baked good, salads, soups, broiled and baked goods (pastas, meat dishes, some pizza), cheeses, deli meats, sandwiches, and sushi. Staff is courteous & friendly. Very Impressed with this grocery chain in that it has a lot to offer in a cozy space at reasonable prices. And I don't have to walk a mile inside (like Walmart) to quickly find what I want.

It's a box store. They seem to hang their hat on quality and over charge for it, even though they sell mostly the same stuff as everyone else. I only come here very rarely for a select few items that only they sell in town, like the deli and sushi.

I don't usually use Sobeys Pharmacy because all my scripts are with a Pharmacy closer to home, but I was in the area of Sobeys 4 days ago and needed to get some iron supplement from a pharm which didn't need a script but had to be filled by a pharmacist. They said it would take 15 min to fill, so I did some other shopping while in the store. After paying for the groceries I went to the pharmacy to see if my prescription was filled yet. The pharmasist responded that if I didn't like the wait, I could just go to another pharmacy. All I needed was a "yes or no" answer, not attitude. I was in no rush...and didn't express any urgency concerning the same. Guess there's a reason why I chose a Pharmacy closer to home

This is a gorgeous store, there's no doubt about it. I think my favorite on offer is Thiers deli and cooked goods area. There is a really nice array of prepared foods to take home that make mealtime simple and yummy. The stuffing thingies are so good and the cooked hams, found with the cooked chickens are delicious. The only down side for me, are the high prices which make shopping there, a special occassion for me.

My go to grocery store. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are comparable to other grocery stores possibly a little higher. If I have any beef with them it's the beef. I have recently had ground beef on two separate occasions with grizzle or possibly bone. Also their steak cuts and selection need improvement. Produce department is adequate and the bakery definitely produces some quality goods.

Great place to shop. Major supporter of the Special Olympics. Prices are a bit higher here than some of the other options in the city, but I’m pretty loyal. They also have a great deli where you can get three premade subs for $9. Can’t beat that price when looking for a quick meal.

I would avoid this store at all costs - Patty one of the cashiers is one of the most rude and arrogant people I have ever have the unfortunate pleasure of having to deal with. Her treatment of us included mumbling under her breath, rolling her eyes and loudly complaining about not only us but another family to her coworkers and other shoppers.

Ok at first i was taken back how aggressive and rude some bakery staff was then i complained Because my kids were with me it was super stressful they do not go out much but the manager was understanding open and concerned It changed my whole experience and i felt appreciated now i always go shopping there yes i love walmart but i love sobeys more they are so sweet attention to detail more creative choices and i love the higher end food choices. Plus my kids love how cozy this place is for shopping. I wanted shopping to be a comfy loving kind shopping experience where they pick healthy food without stress i love the bakery its the best yummy treats ????????

If you're looking for a hot lunch or dinner - this location generally has some great choices. Not the cheapest grocery store in Red Deer, though you won't be disappointed in the quality
