Alot of people don't have much money, so they shopped there so that they could save a little bit. The old owner knew that and catered to everybody around here, realizing they could not afford to take a cab or drive every time they needed to do shopping, to shop at those big Box grocery stores and couldn't afford the prices. If you put high prices like that, people might as well, and do (after all the people I have talked to) take a cab because it will still be cheaper than shopping there especially when the store does not have everything that everybody needs or requires...and alot of said that they will not support the drastic change of prices (and can't afford it). You are also putting premium prices on items that are not premium items. Lastly, the staff is not personable at all. I was in there a couple days ago and stood in an isle for almost 10 minutes (in shock at the prices) and not one person said hi or greeted me when I walked in or came and asked me if I needed help finding anything. "I" used to be a frequent shopper there, not any longer. I will drive to sobeys or Walmart to get my groceries. *ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC, YOU RAISE PRICES...PEOPLE HAVE LOST THEIR JOBS OR HAVE LIMITED WORK..AND ALREADY HAVE STRESS AND YOU DO THAT!!" Give your head a shake

Under New Management! It has great new owners are very friendly, knowledgeable and are quick to greet you with a smile. Store is remodeled (the smell is far gone), the prices are great and they have anything you'd expect at a large grocery store. The previous owners were extremely rude and judgemental. But the NEW owners are the complete opposite.

I looked forward to seeing what the new owners had to offer, so I went in last week. Their meat was far from looking fresh, very very brown looking and tbone steak had mold, and some packages had holes in the plastic container. I bought some of their "fresh " bread, of which molded two days later. Prices on most everything else, were still to high. I will not be back and letting friends know about this experience.

Friendly staff, clean and well stocked shelves. Very convenient, you can run in and get what you need quickly and easily. A lot better store now than with the previous owners.
