An update Save on came to the party with a cash credit and points. Was handled very professionally. Absolute disaster online delivery service to Silverstar Mountain. Twice did an order on line twice did not get delivery. Charged my credit card confirmed delivery but once the window of delivery came and went no delivery I had to phone the store and was told the delivery had been cancelled x 2. 2 days Skiing missed at a cost of $200.00 no compensation. Don't get sucked in how good the delivery service is. I will never use this service, which they charge you for and charge for bags.

I can barely even talk about Safeway meat without getting grumpy, better bulk and ethnic food... Safeway has more square footage with less variety

Shopped here for several years. Most of the staff are super friendly, however, not shopping here any longer as Physical distancing is not being enforced at all. A call to head office confirmed this. NOT SAFE to shop here.

A familiar supermarket feel, not too different from a Superstore. Well stocked, well faced, with a good selection of items for the average consumer. What sets Save-On apart, for me, was a conversation I had with a produce merchant: I was looking for a specific fruit, and while there were none in the store, she offered to simply order a case for me! (it later turned out that, in my ignorance, I failed to specify which varietal I wanted, and ended up with a similar-but-not-same version of my desired item, but the onus is on me for that). I was stunned by this service! Not too shabby, folks.

Nice big grocery store. This Save-On is huge, and has a deep selection of products as a result. The star attraction is the great bulk foods selection. You can get many baking ingredients in bulk here, as well as nuts, candy and other snacks.

Save on foods is awesome. Best variety of brands and products in town, I've shopped at them all. Great rewards points system. The deli and produce area will blow your mind at all the stuff they make. The variety from baked, to hand made sausage, sushi, sweets, it's nuts. There's a Starbucks inside as well and froyo, and a wing bar... You just have to see it.

Recently I ordered a cake for my sons bday. All he wanted was Black Forrest with a hockey theme. I called everywhere and no where was able/ willing to do this for us. This is our favorite grocery store in St Albert. Perfect location. Always helpful and friendly staff, very organized. Very good produce and we buy our bottled water here as well which is the best water on the market with the lowest sodium levels. All in all an awesome store.

I really enjoy going to Save-On for groceries. First, they're the only place I know in Regina that sells certified Choice grade beef. That's top 2% quality in the country! Second, good selection of quality produce. Third, great deli selection - their in-house sausages are delicious! Prices are a little high if you don't sign up for their rewards program. On Tuesdays its BOGO kebabs with rewards card!

Great staff, lots of stock on the shelves. Parking lot almost always has lots of room and the carts are in good shape. The produce selection is decent, but they quickly run out of the bargain foods and leave you with nothing but overpriced organic options; same for the meat, small selection unless you want the overpriced stuff at the butcher kiosk.

Normally love this store, great selection and friendly service at self checkout. Today Diane served us and it's the first time in a year and a half, as a conscientious citizen, I've been schooled on how to bag groceries and where to stand and put my cart. I wasn't allowed to bag groceries on the counter at the very end, doing my best to stay back a good distance. And as she told me I could try to bag groceries awkwardly reaching from behind the partition and juggling all my bags and food items, her co-worker walked up twice to lean in close and speak with her. Then when my husband had unloaded the groceries on the far end, she proceeded to pause the line, came around from the til on the customer side to tell me how to move my cart and load my groceries. When I'd had enough I politely said, "Thank you, I'm good." She said, "Yea but I'm not." There is an opportunity in all of this, to be safe, kind, considerate, as my husband and I were being, and not controlling and condescending. I didn't bother to tell her that we'd both been vaccinated. She wasn't interested in being reasonable, only in making it very clear that she was in charge. And I was simply doing my best to keep the peace. It is unreasonable to bring our own bags, the clerks wearing gloves not having to bag groceries anymore (even though we know that's not how it's spread), and then we cannot use the counter. I've been shopping for a year and a half, doing just fine using the end of the counter and having lovely conversations at a distance, in our community. If clerks are this paranoid, then they should either be educated by management or find work that they consider less risky. I appreciate the fact that this was our first poor experience here and we will simply avoid having Diane serve us, but perhaps there is a lesson in this review for the management. Save-On-Foods is a new entrant to Regina. Save-On-Foods offers a wide variety of Grocery options, in addition to regular grocery items, compared to its competitors. For instance, you will find all sorts of bulk food items including Organic food items, sweets, seeds, grains, freshly ground peanut butter, and a lot more. It also houses fresh food bars, yogurt, wide range of cheese, cakes, other fresh bakery items. Prices are competitive but not as economical as claimed by the store. Overall, it is a very good store for residents of Albert South and South West.

It's a smaller Save-On, but it's okay for product variety. Save on as a chain doesn’t do cash back at the POS. Their emphasis on self serve means that cash registers with people are uncommon. The pharmacy has a phone line that goes to voice mail and they never return calls or do follow up.

Pretty standard as far as Save On Foods stores go. The produce is usually pretty fresh and the meat quality is great. One concern is I find expired or very near (same day) expiring items on the shelves far more often than other stores in town, which should not happen. Nothing worse than getting home and realizing you need to make a trip back for a return on an expired item.

Absolutely terrible produce, the worst of any grocery store in the whole city. You will be hard pressed to find any vegetables or herbs that are even slightly fresh. Their meat and deli sections are small with a very limited selection. They also seem to have difficulty with their ordering system/methods since half the store is always out of stock. Even if you happen to find the ingredients you are looking for among the limited selection, there is a good chance they will be rotten or out of stock.

First time visiting this location - it's well worth the trek from downtown Edmonton. It's a great location with great value that Save-Om Foods is known for. All the staff were adhering to Covid-19 protocols which was comforting to see. In addition, very helpful to people who aren't familiar with the layout of the location. More notable is the the family feel on Save-Om in general. Each location I've visited has always had that small town feeling where you are welcomed. Definitely will be returning to further explore and I highly recommend the visit!

This location has taken a nose dive, not clean inside, they don't clean baskets or buggys. The entrance is dirty with overflowing used wipe bins, and spray bottles for customers use to disinfect are leaking and leaving a mess on the table and floors. Produce has been very poor, fresh lettuce is nearly impossible to get here. Staff seem not to notice.

Great place to find special groceries. Famous for always fresh produce. Really helpful and friendly staff. Great sortiment of European sausage in rhe Deli section, if you ask they will pack it for you in brown paper instead of plastic. The only place in Quesnel to buy Avalon milk! Nice and freah sortiment of flowers. Free pieces of fruit for the kids (I love it!). The only place in town to buy German bread from the Lac LaHache Bakery.

We flew into Yukon for a small getaway and this place was a lifesaver! We were staying in a cabin and had to organize our own food - so knowing that we could get everything from Save On's was just perfect for us. They have a lot more Indian-favorite snacks like Kurkure and Maggi noodles, which came as a surprise to us! The place is HUGE and has pretty much everything you need, at the competitive prices you'd expect. Happy to have found this away from home.

Great place though much pricier than some other grocery stores. If they have a sale it's a great sale. Always good produce. The staff at the tills are always nice and seems like a good first job for local kids. They also seem to do a lot of community fundraisers and other community work. But the real highlight is the deep voiced dude in the meat department that calls me ma'am even though I think I'm too young to be a ma'am - haha. Reminds me of how grocery stores were when I was a kid. Oh there's a kid who does the online grocery shopping who seems really stoned. A friend agreed.

For discounts or the best advertised price on the tag, you need their rewards card. Took a few mins to sign up online while shopping in store. Didn't move for a few minutes, so the cooler lights started turning off as they are motion activated. Got an email with my temporary card which they were able to scan on my phone. Its a new store, so it's quite nice inside still, plus they sell little things of wheatgrass, which I found surprising for some reason.

This is a great grocery store with a good bakery and deli section. It's well laid out, has a Starbucks and a nice place to sit and eat and is a pleasure to shop at. Great bulk section too. Make sure you have a More Rewards Card so you can take advantage of their member prices, which can be pretty good. It's my favourite grocery store to shop at. I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 because sometimes the produce section can be more expensive than Super Store but overall a great place to do your grocery shopping.

I went on opening day. Good specials but I noticed the prices of regular mechandise was like any other grocery store. They are not cheaper. As it is a smaller store the selection isn't great. They also don't carry some items that I buy every week. For example they don't have the smaller size of Kraft cheddar cheese in a block and the choice of diet soft drinks is limited. The parking is bad but that's because the store is new and the lot is crowded. That will improve. I will continue to shop at Walmart which is still by far the cheapest grocery store in Regina.
